Advancing in our Growth in Life to Overcome Death and Transcend All Frustrations

The record in the first chapter in Genesis is not merely to inform us of how God created the earth and all things in it, neither is it merely to show us the order in which God created everything. If we have the glasses of God’s economy on, we will clearly see that in Genesis 1 we […]

Death (the Sea) is Defeated and Life (the Plant Life) is Generated by Christ (the Good Land)

Genesis 1 is not recorded in the Bible as “a history of the creation” but rather it is showing us how we can experience Christ as life. We start as “dead in sins and offenses” (Rom. 5:12) – corresponding to “the earth became waste and void” – and at one point, the Spirit of God […]

Ministering Life to the Body by Experiencing Christ in the Body and For the Body

We have seen that Christ lived a sacrificing life for producing new wine to cheer God and man, and that today we as His believers should live the same kind of life for God’s satisfaction and man’s joy. We need to live a sacrificing life today, and this life is in the Body and for […]

Experiencing the God of Resurrection and Having the Mending Ministry of Life

seeing the importance of Christ as the stone in many aspects for God’s building

This week we come to a very solid and high topic in the Psalms and in the whole Bible – Christ as the Cornerstone for God’s building (see Psalm 118). Many believers praise Christ as the Lamb of God, being filled with appreciation for what Christ has done for us on the cross for our […]

In Phil 4:12 Paul says he has learnt the secret to be both abased and to abound and in the previous verse to be content in all circumstances. The secret is simply to be in Christ, to abide in Him. To be content in everything means the good things and the bad things. To be content in all things means to be content in all the ordinary things too! Our Christ does not change, our contentment therefore cannot change. [read more online]
