Keeping the Feast of the Unleavened Bread by Eating Christ as the Sinless Life

March 1, 2015 by aGodMan 3 Comments

The only way to eliminate sin is to daily eat Christ as the crucified, resurrected, and sinless life, signified by the unleavened bread. Witness Lee

The feast of the Passover was to be a memorial to the children of Israel to remind them of how God rescued them from the judgement falling on those living in Egypt, and how God provided the passover lamb to be their supply for them to get out of Egypt and serve God in the […]

Christ is the Passover Lamb: Spotless, Perfect, Fresh, and Willing to Die for Us

February 24, 2015 by aGodMan 1 Comment

The Passover is a type of Christ; Christ is not only the Passover lamb but also every aspect of the passover. The Apostle Paul said, For our Passover, Christ, has been sacrificed (1 Cor. 5:7). Christ is the entire passover: He is the Lamb of God, the unleavened bread, the bitter herbs, and everything related […]

God Intends for us to Remember Christ’s Redemption in a Specific and Detailed Way

February 23, 2015 by aGodMan 2 Comments

The detailed account of Christ’s redemption typified in Exodus indicates that God intends for us to remember Christ’s redemption in a specific and detailed way.

This week in our morning revival we are enjoying the matter of the Passover as seen in the book of Exodus. Most believers know that Christ is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29), and their understanding and appreciation of the Passover is limited to this aspect. However, […]

The All-Inclusive Christ is Everything to Us for the Building of the Church

April 12, 2013 by aGodMan 6 Comments

Matthew reveals that for the building of the church (16:18), Christ is the King (2:1-2; 21:5), the Son of the living God (16:16), the Son of Man (8:20; 11:19), the Baptizer (3:11), the light (4:12-16), the Physician (9:12), the Bridegroom (v. 15), the unfulled cloth (v. 16), the new wine (v. 17), the Shepherd (v. 36), the Lord of the harvest (v. 38), the Friend of sinners (11:19a), wisdom (v. 19b), the One who gives rest (vv. 28-30), the real David (12:3), the One greater than the temple (v. 6), the greater Jonah (vv. 39-41), the One greater than Solomon (v. 42), the bread and crumbs under the table (15:26-27), and the resurrected One in His humanity with all authority in heaven and on earth (28:18-19).

In the first part of Zechariah (the first eight chapters) we see eight visions with many aspects of Christ related to the recovery of God’s building. In the second part of Zechariah (the last six chapters), there are some prophecies concerning Christ in the future, after the recovery of the temple. In Zechariah we see […]
