The Original Condition of the Church and the need for the Recovery of the Church

November 21, 2017 by aGodMan 13 Comments

Rom. 12:2 And do not be fashioned according to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of the mind that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and well pleasing and perfect.

In order for us to recognize the need for the recovery of the church, we need to first know the original condition of the church and then see the degradation of the church. What is in God's heart to have is the church, for the church is His … [Continue reading]

The Recovery of the Church in Relation to God’s Intention and Satan’s Destruction

November 20, 2017 by aGodMan 11 Comments

Eph. 3:10-11 In order that now to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenlies the multifarious wisdom of God might be made known through the church, according to the eternal purpose which He made in Christ Jesus our Lord.

What God desires to gain in this age is the church, and this week we want to see the original condition of the church, the degradation of the church, and the recovery of the church. According to Ephesians and to the experience of all those who … [Continue reading]

Preaching the Gospel concerning the Economy of the Mystery Hidden in God – the Church

November 18, 2017 by aGodMan 7 Comments

Eph. 3:8-9 To me, less than the least of all saints, was this grace given to announce to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ as the gospel and to enlighten all that they may see what the economy of the mystery is, which throughout the ages has been hidden in God, who created all things.

The matter of the church is not that simple - the church is the mystery of Christ, the Body of Christ in God's eternal economy, and we should preach the gospel concerning the economy of the mystery hidden in God. The universe with its vastness, … [Continue reading]

Seeing the Economy of the Mystery Hidden in God and daily Receiving God’s Dispensing

November 17, 2017 by aGodMan 8 Comments

One day the Lord came, and He died, resurrected, ascended, came down as the Holy Spirit, and raised up a number of persons. Some of these persons were apostles, prophets, and teachers, who received the revelation. The mystery hidden in God was revealed to them at that time. They saw and came to know that the purpose of creation is to have the church. The church was a mystery hidden in God in the past generations until it was revealed to the apostles and prophets in the New Testament time. Witness Lee, Basic Principles for the Practice of the Church Life, pp. 9-10

From the beginning of the world the purpose of creation was a mystery hidden in God, but in the New Testament God has revealed the economy of the mystery to His believers, showing us that His intention is to gain the church, His corporate … [Continue reading]

We need to Enlighten all that they may See the Church as the Mystery Hidden in God

November 16, 2017 by aGodMan 13 Comments

Acts 13:47 For so the Lord has commanded us, "I have set you as a light of the Gentiles, that you would be for salvation unto the uttermost part of the earth." Eph. 5:8 For you were once darkness but are now light in the Lord; walk as children of light. Acts 26:18 To open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light and from the authority of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.

The mystery hidden in God throughout the ages and revealed to His saints in the New Testament is the church, the center and focus of His economy and plan. God has an eternal purpose, which is to work Himself into His chosen people to be their life … [Continue reading]

God, Man, and the Existence of the Universe are for God’s Purpose to have the Church

November 15, 2017 by aGodMan 7 Comments

The existence of the universe is according to God’s purpose. Heaven, earth, millions of items, and the human race are all according to God’s purposed desire. Eventually, all these things will issue in God’s desire....Because this desire has been purposed by God, no one and nothing can overthrow it. Everything that takes place on earth is for this purpose. We, the sons of God, in whom God’s grace abounds, are the focal point of His purpose, and everything is working for us. God has purposed this desire in Himself. He did not take counsel with anyone else regarding it. Witness Lee, Life-study of Ephesians, pp. 68-69

Everything and everyone in the universe, including God, man, the planets, the air, the water, the animals, and everything else is according to God's eternal purpose to have the church. The existence of the church is for God's purpose to have the … [Continue reading]

The Existence of the Church is according to the Eternal Purpose God made in Christ

November 14, 2017 by aGodMan 12 Comments

God planned to have the church composed of regenerated and transformed human beings who are coordinated and built together as a corporate Body.

According to Ephesians, the existence of the church is according to the eternal purpose which God made in Christ Jesus our Lord, for God planned to have from eternity past for eternity future. God has an eternal purpose - the purpose of the ages, … [Continue reading]
