Our God is a speaking God, and by His speaking, God is brought into man and man is brought into God; our life hinges totally upon God’s speaking, for the living God imparts and infuses Himself into us by His speaking, which brings in light and life. Amen!
This week in our morning revival we come to the topic of, Speaking by the Spirit of Faith. The kind of faith that we have is a speaking faith, and we are the speaking people of the speaking God.
God’s economy is in faith; for us to serve God and live the Christian life, we need to be people full of faith and of the Holy Spirit (Acts 6:5).
May we be people full of faith, men full of faith, who contact God in faith, enjoy God by faith, experience God by faith, live by faith, walk by faith, and speak by faith. God’s dispensing is in faith; we need faith, and we need faith to increase in us.
Everything in God’s economy is real to us and made available for us by His divine dispensing in faith.
We need faith; we need to be men of faith who live by faith and are able to infuse faith into others and even live a life that is a pattern of faith to them.
In 1 Thessalonians Paul said that he sent Timothy to see how is the faith of the saints; he wanted to know if their faith is healthy so that they may advance with the Lord in His economy.
And he yearned to see the saints face to face so that he may complete the things that were lacking in their faith.
Some saints in our locality may lack things in their faith, and the way we can help them is by enjoying the Lord, being perfected in our faith, and speaking by the spirit of faith into them.
The enemy’s strategy, especially these last days, is to wear out the saints of the Most High. Look around you, with all the troubles, inequality, injustice, rebellion, violence, and corruption in the world, and look around you in the church life with the degradation creeping in.
All these are the enemy’s attacks on the church and on all the saints, for he wants to wear them out and cause them to lose their faith.
May we put on the breastplate of faith and love to withstand the attacks of the enemy.
May we be men of faith who also equip others with faith so that they may withstand the attack of the enemy.
When we enjoy the Lord and are filled with faith, we have the words of faith to not only be nourished ourselves but also minister to others to help them grow in faith.
Our life as Believers Hinges Totally upon the Lord’s Speaking which brings God into Man and Man into God
As believers in Christ, we need to realize that our God is a speaking God; He spoke in many ways in the old to the fathers in the prophets, and at the last of these days He has spoken to us in the Son (Heb. 1:1-2).
The whole universe came into being by God’s speaking, and everything that was created came to be by God’s speaking (Rom. 4:17; Heb. 11:3; Psa. 33:9).
He is the One who calls things not being as being, and the whole universe has been framed by the word of God.
When He commanded, it stood, and when He called things to be, they just were. God’s speaking created things and brought things into being.
The whole Bible – both the Old and the New Testament – is a speaking story, for it is God’s speaking to us.
The essence of the Epistle to the Hebrews is God’s speaking in the Son. God speaks in Christ, the Son; the Son speaks as the Spirit to the churches, and ultimately the Spirit speaks with the church (Rev. 2:7a; 22:17).
In Rev. 2 and 3 we see that the Spirit speaks to the churches, and those who have an ear to hear can hear the Spirit speaking to the churches.
It is the Son who speaks to the churches, but He speaks as the Spirit.
At the end of Revelation, however, we see not only the Spirit speaking but the Spirit speaking with the church.
The Bible begins with the speaking of God, for He spoke and things came into being. It is by His speaking that the living God imparts Himself into us.
The Bible ends with the speaking of God, but this time God is not alone: it is God in Christ as the Spirit speaking together with the bride!
What God gains as a result of His work in His economy is a speaking bride, a counterpart among men who is one with Him in His speaking and speaks the same thing that the Spirit speaks.
From beginning to end, the Bible is a speaking story. Even more, by this speaking of God to man, God is brought into man and man is brought into God (John 1:14; 6:63). Wow!
How can God be brought into man? It is by His speaking. God was there in the beginning as the Word of God (John 1:1), but one day this Word of God was incarnated to be a man who tabernacled among us.
Jesus Christ came as the Word of God, the One who is God’s speaking.
And He did many things in His earthly ministry, and in particular, He spoke the word of God. By This speaking story God is brought into man and man is brought into God.
In John 20:22 the Lord came to the disciples in the evening of His resurrection and said, Receive the Holy Spirit, and He breathed into them.
Breathing and speaking are connected in the Bible, for when we speak, we breathe. If we consider our own story, one day someone spoke to us concerning the Lord, and we simply believed into Him.
By the hearing of the gospel, faith got infused into us, and faith was generated in us by our hearing of God’s word.
When we believed into the Lord as a result of the hearing of faith, He was brought into us and we were brought into Him! And just like Him, we became those who speak the word of God!
God’s speaking proves that we are under His blessing. In 1 Sam. 3:1, 10, 21 we are told of the negative situation in the people of Israel, where there was no speaking from God.
To not have the Lord’s speaking is a punishment from Him, for we are God’s people and we should have His speaking.
By His mercy, the Lord is speaking to us in the church life in His recovery today.
If there were no God in the universe, that would be a tragedy; if there would be no speaking of God, our life would be in misery.
We live in misery when we don’t have God’s speaking, but we live a blessed life when His speaking is with us. We can come to Him in His word and have His fresh speaking every day.
Our life as believers in Christ hinges totally upon the Lord’s speaking (Heb. 1:3; Matt. 17:5; Rev. 2:7a; S.S. 8:13; Heb. 5:13-14).
We live not by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God (Matt. 4:4), for His word gives us life when we touch the Lord in our reading.
We are washed by the water in God’s word (Eph. 5:25) so that we may be prepared as the church, the bride of Christ, and be cleansed and washed from any spot or wrinkle (v. 27).
We need the Lord’s living, organic speaking which takes away all the spots, wrinkles, and blemishes.
Even when we’re not in a good condition, the Lord still comes to us as the Spirit to speak to us.
How we thank the Lord that, regardless of our condition, He still speaks to us; we only need to be open to His speaking.
When He speaks to us, we enjoy Him as the tree of life and we partake of Him as our feast.
We need God’s speaking all day long; we love His speaking, and we want to hear His voice, for we love Him!
Lord Jesus, we love to hear Your speaking. Speak to us today in Your word. Keep us under Your speaking today so that God may be brought into us and we may be brought into God. Amen, Lord, we love You as our speaking God. Your speaking is such a blessing to us. Our life hinges totally upon Your speaking, and we desire to have Your speaking all the day. May we live not just by bread but by every word that proceeds out through the mouth of God. Amen, Lord, wash us by the water in the Word so that any spots or wrinkles may be removed and we would become Your beautiful, glorious bride! Grant us to have an ear to hear what the Spirit is speaking to the churches!
The Living God Imparts and Infuses Himself as Life and Light into us by His Speaking
How does God come to man, and how does God accomplish His economy among men? It is by His speaking.
When we speak, our words may not have much value, for we don’t speak THE WORD, which is God.
But when God speaks, our life is changed, and we receive something of God. The living God imparts and infuses Himself as life and light into us by His speaking.
He wants to transfuse Himself into us, and He does it mainly by speaking. The more we have God’s speaking, the more His divine element will be imparted and transfused into our being.
All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for us (2 Tim. 3:16-17); through His speaking, we are infused with what God is.
His speaking is not just for our instruction; His speaking is for infusing what He is into our being.
We need to be infused with God by His word day by day! The first thing that we see when we hear God’s word is His light, for the Lord’s speaking is shining on us.
When we have God’s speaking, we have His shining; He shines on us through His speaking.
As the Lord speaks to us, the divine light shines upon us, for the divine Word is the best illuminator, the best light-bearer.
We all can testify to this from our experience; we may not even seek God, but one day we heard the gospel, and light shone on us.
We may be far away from God and so busy with many things during the day, but when we have God’s speaking, His light shines on us.
The living God imparts Himself as light into us by His speaking. When we have God’s shining, we also have the understanding, the vision, and the proper wisdom, knowledge, and utterance.
When we have the Lord’s speaking, light shines on us, and we receive knowledge, understanding, and wisdom; His word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psa. 119:105).
His speaking imparts understanding, giving light to the simple (Psa. 119:130).
As He shines on us, we see our situation, we confess and repent, and His blood cleanses us; furthermore, we speak of Him whom we have seen, and we testify of Him whom we have enjoyed and experienced. Our speaking God makes us His speaking people.
Through His speaking, we also receive God’s life; the living God imparts and infuses Himself as life into us by His speaking.
The words that He speaks to us are spirit and life (John 6:63). In this word which we receive from God is life (John 1:1, 4); when we touch God’s word with the exercise of our spirit, we receive His life and are enlivened.
We all can testify that, on one hand, God’s light shines in us through His word, and on the other hand, His life is infused into us through His speaking.
We can be living because we are filed with God’s word! In this age full of evils, we can give ourselves to be in the word of God in a living way, to treasure and love God’s word, and to have His speaking moment-by-moment.
When we come together in the meetings of the church, we all are bubbling because the word of God fills us, His light shines on us and through us, and we enjoy the life of God.
The life that we receive from the Word of God, His speaking, includes holiness, love, humility, kindness, patience, and joy, together with all the human virtues and the divine attributes.
The way for us to be humble is not to try to be humble; the more we try, the more we can’t be humble.
The way to be humble, to love our wife, and submit to our husband, is to eat the Lord in His word so that we may have His instant and present speaking.
This is because the living God imparts Himself into us by His speaking. It is in the divine life we receive by the Lord’s speaking that we are enabled to have the divine attributes expressed through our human virtues.
When we have His life, everything good thing comes with it.
When we enjoy God’s life as we receive His speaking, we consider all the saints to be handsome and beautiful, for they are filled with God’s life and they have God shining through them.
Praise the Lord!
Hallelujah, the living God imparts and infuses Himself into us by His speaking! Amen, Lord, we open to Your speaking. We open to be filled with You as life and light by Your word. Speak to us today. Breathe Yourself into us and fill us with all that You are. We do not want to try to be better Christians or more loving husbands; we simply come to Your word to receive Your life and light! Amen, Lord, only Your life infused into us can live the Christian life. Shine on us, expose us, and infuse us with all that You are through Your word. Amen, Lord, even in this age full of evils, we give ourselves to You to enjoy You in the word. We take Your word as a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Your word gives us understanding and wisdom. We open to receive more of Your life through Your speaking today!

– The Word of God-how rich, profound, / His testimony shown; / Within the Word Thou art declared, / That God should be made known. / Thou, living Word, didst flesh become, / With man on earth hast trod; / And all Thy words and conduct here / Expression gave to God. (Hymns #58)
– Christ is the Word and Spirit too, / And as the Spirit in the Word; / And all the words He speaks to us / Are life and spirit thus conferred. (Hymns #815)

When God speaks, the light shines. The first element with God’s Word is light… There is no need for you to expound it or interpret it. The light shines, for the Word bears light. The divine Word is the best illuminator, the best light-bearer… We can all prove this by our experience. Whenever we hear His Word, we are under His shining, and this shining brings us light. With this light there is the understanding, vision, and the proper wisdom, knowledge, and utterance… When you have light, you have the seeing power, the view, and the vision. When you have light, you have knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. This gives you utterance, and you cannot be dumb. The Word also brings us life. The Lord Jesus said that the words He speaks are spirit and life (John 6:63). “In the beginning was the Word… In Him was life” (John 1:1,4). In the Word is life. When you touch the Word, you are enlivened. Today so many are living because they are filled with the Word. I am so happy to see that in this age, an age full of evils, the young people have sold themselves to the Holy Word. To so many of you the thing most precious in your heart is the Word. This is a good sign that the Lord is moving among you. His speaking is with us, and His Word is in us. Today everyone in the church life is bubbling because of the Word of life. We have the living Word. Life-study of Hebrews, msg. 2, by Witness Lee
Our God is a speaking God, and by His speaking we are infused with all that He is.
God wants to transfuse Himself into us, and He does it by His speaking.
Thank the Lord that we have His speaking, which is His shining to impart wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and utterance.
His speaking also imparts His life into us, and by His life we can live the Christian life.
Our God is a speaking God! When He spoke things came into being!
Now in the last of these days God speaks in the Son and the Son speaks as the Spirit who gives life through His word!
When we are under such speaking we receive life and this life enriches and enlivens us to be persons with a beautiful humanity, expressing God in our human virtues.
Praise the Lord His speaking is not rare today!
The more we experience God’s speaking through His word the more we are under His blessing! Hallelujah!
What a precious thing is the word of light & life.
God’s speaking to us proves that we are under His blessing.
Our living God imparts Himself into us by speaking. His word is a lamp to our feet, bringing understanding, vision, wisdom, knowledge & utterance.
His word also brings life, bringing us all the divine attributes and all the human virtues.
The beauty of humanity can only come from light & life.
When God speaks, light comes and life is there…Amen!
Brother, the life that is in the Word includes all the divine attributes and human virtues, it includes holiness, love, humility, kindness and patience, we simply need to take the Word, we cannot acquire these virtues by our self effort or work, they are all in the divine life and the divine life is in the divine Word!
Aaaaameeeen. Amen Lord thank You that the words that You speak are spirit and life!
Ameeenn!!!
God has spoken and is still speaking. We know that our God is real because He is speaking. How do we know that God is working in His recovery? Because He is speaking. God’s Word brings us three wonderful matters. The first of these is light. When God speaks, the light shines.
The Word also brings us life. The Lord Jesus said that the words He speaks are spirit and life.
Then the third matter is that when the Word comes, it also brings power.
Amen Lord, bless us with Your speaking day by day!
It is a punishment for men if God keeps silent. One of God’s attributes is His speaking in different ways, but we human beings do not have observation to identify and listen.
God spoke to all people through our forefathers and prophets, but at this end time He spoke to us through His Son, Jesus Christ.
Our lesson this week is the difference between Christ as the Word of God and the Bible as the Word God.
Amen Lord Jesus! Speak to us again today so that we can absorb more of Your life in us. Infuse us, prepare us, gain us, cleanse us, make us Your beautiful Bride
Be happy in us Lord Jesus
amen Lord Jesus speak to us moment by moment,we praise you.
