It is not about What You Do, but Who is Doing It (2023 Autumn University Conference)

But I say, Walk by the Spirit and you shall by no means fulfill the lust of the flesh. Gal. 5:16

In the final message I was impressed to see again that when Christ was on the earth, He was opposed to religion – the seeming worship of God, yet without Christ.

He is after the worship in spirit where He is now dwelling within man as the life-giving Spirit (1 Cor. 5:45) having a relationship between God and man.

This relationship is the true worship in spirit and in truthfulness (John 4:24)

I was touched and this sentence remained with me “It is not about what you do, but who is doing it” meaning that to the Lord, it matters little what we are doing outwardly, whether serving Him, attending meetings, seemingly doing many things for Him but who is the source of those things?

Are you doing those things with Him? Or will He find you doing those things apart from Christ?

The Lord is after the relationship and mingling with God and man, where we do everything moment by moment in our speaking, doing everything in consideration with the Lord (Ps. 27:4) where we bring the Lord into our daily lives by continually conversing with Him.

May the Lord lead us to have hundreds and thousands of conversations with Him
