The Multifarious Wisdom of God will be Made Known through the Church to Satan and his angels

In order that now to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenlies the multifarious wisdom of God might be made known through the church. Eph. 3:10

According to Eph. 3:10, the multifarious wisdom of God will be made known through the church to the rulers and authorities in the heavenlies, both the good and the evil ones, for the church is God’s masterpiece! Hallelujah!

Our God is so wise, and He is making us His wise exhibition to the entire universe so that all may see His masterpiece, the church. How glorious!

As believers in Christ, we simply need to enjoy and experience the divine transmission of Christ as the wisdom from God to us.

As we remain under the divine dispensing every day, keeping our vessel open to the Lord and stopping ourselves to just check with Him and take Him in, we become the masterpiece of God, the church, for the display and manifestation of His multifarious wisdom.

God put us in Christ Jesus, and Christ has become the wisdom from God to us both for our past, present, and future.

For our past, Christ has become our righteousness to justify us before God; this enables us to be reborn of God to receive His divine life and become children of God.

For the present, Christ is wisdom to us from God to be our sanctification; by Him as our sanctification, we’re being sanctified in our soul, and our mind, emotion, and will are transformed with His divine life.

For our future, Christ as the wisdom from God to us is our redemption – He will redeem our body, and by Him, we will be transfigured in our body with His divine life to be made into His glorious likeness. Hallelujah!

All we have to do is keep turning to Him again and again even as we are about to react to certain things, as we’re about to speak, or as we’re about to do something; again and again, we need to open our being to His divine dispensing so that Christ as wisdom from God would be to us. Christ is “to us from God” – this refers not to a once-for-all thing but to something present, practical, and experiential, something that is being transmitted into us little by little, day by day.

There is an unceasing flow of Christ as wisdom from God to us to be our present and practical wisdom in our experience. The more we experience Christ as the wisdom from God to us, the more we become the church as the wise exhibition of God’s multifarious wisdom in the universe. Hallelujah!

Through the Church, the Multifarious Wisdom of God will be made known to the Rulers and Authorities in the Heavenlies

To me, less than the least of all saints, was this grace given to announce to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ as the gospel and to enlighten all [that they may see] what the economy of the mystery is, which throughout the ages has been hidden in God, who created all things, in order that now to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenlies the multifarious wisdom of God might be made known through the church. Eph. 3:8-10When Satan rebelled against God, he was judged by Him, and all the angels that followed Satan were also judged.

However, in His sovereignty and wisdom, God didn’t execute that judgement yet; when the Son of God came, He defeated the enemy, He nullified his works, He destroyed him on the cross, and victory has been won.

Still, the wise God has not yet fully executed the judgement on Satan; He still allows him to work – and this may be startling to many – because, in a sense, God needs that there would be problems and challenging situations caused by the enemy for God to manifest His wisdom.

But through the church, the multifarious wisdom of God will be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenlies (Eph. 3:10).

If we look at the local churches, if we consider all the local churches we have visited or seen, we realize that the Lord put us together as a combination of all kinds of people, an amalgamation of human beings, and it takes the wisdom of God to build us up together into the one new man.

But this is what God is doing: He is regenerating men, He is transforming men, He is building men up, and He is glorifying them so that through the church He would display His multifarious wisdom.

Wisdom was necessary when building the tabernacle and the temple in the Old Testament, and the wisdom of God is needed to build the church; through the church built up with the riches of Christ, the multifarious wisdom of God will be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenlies.

The church will be the wise display of God’s wisdom in a full way, to the whole universe, especially to the evil powers in the air.

The rulers and authorities are the angelic rulers and authorities, both good and evil.

On one hand, the good angels and authorities are rejoicing and praising God for His wisdom, for He is the Lord of hosts (see Rev. 5); eventually, the twenty-four elders – the leading angels – fall down and cast their crown, for the church will reign in the kingdom!

On the other hand, the evil angels and authorities tremble and will be destroyed by the church!

Eph. 3:10 especially refers to the evil ones – to Satan and his angels; Satan has his kingdom, his angels, and his sphere of rule (Matt. 12:26; 25:41; Eph. 6:12), which is mainly the air and the earth (2:2; 1 John 5:19).

The book of Daniel in particular indicates that all the nations on the earth are under the rule of Satan in the air (Dan. 10:18).

As revealed in Eph. 3:8, the church is produced from the unsearchable riches of Christ. When God's chosen people partake of and enjoy the riches of Christ, they are constituted with those riches to be the church, through which God's multifarious wisdom is made known to the angelic rulers and authorities in the heavenlies. Hence, the church is God's wise exhibition of all that Christ is. Eph. 3:10, footnote 3, RcV BibleToday the Lord is training us in all the local churches to pray the prayers of administration, prayers of warfare, so that we may deal with the evil powers over the country we are in and open the way for the will of God to reach the earth!

We will pray and we will keep praying so that, no matter what happens and who is in the lead in our country, we would stand in the victory of Christ, enjoy and receive Christ as the wisdom from God to us, and deal with the rulers and authorities in the air.

One day is coming when all these rulers and authorities will see the multifarious wisdom of God being displayed through the church!

One day is coming when they will be cast into the abyss and into the lake of fire, and we as the church will become the counterpart of Christ in the New Jerusalem! Hallelujah!

Through the church, God will make His wisdom known not mainly to human beings but to those rebellious angels who are the followers of God’s enemy (Rev. 12:7).

God is wise in His way of handling everything, everyone, and every problem in every country, with all kinds of situations, wars, turmoils, and even the pandemic.

Even in the pandemic, the wisdom of God is manifested; we may not understand why the pandemic is taking place, and the atmosphere is full of lies about this whole thing, but we as the church are being produced to be a display of the multifarious wisdom of God to all the rulers and authorities in the heavenlies!

Hallelujah, through the church the multifarious wisdom of God will be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenlies! Praise You Lord for taking us, sinners who were ruined by Satan, and You make us sons of God and members of the Body of Christ to display Your wisdom! We stand one with You on earth, Lord, and we give ourselves to You to be transformed and built up into Your masterpiece, the church! We do not look at our situation or condition: we look to You and we are one with You in Your producing of the church as Your masterpiece, the church! Amen, Lord, through the church You are manifesting Your wisdom and You are putting the enemy to shame, utterly defeating him! We give You all the glory and praise for Your wisdom!

The Church as God’s Masterpiece Displays God’s Wisdom to Satan and his angels in the Universe

We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in the evil one. 1 John 5:19 For our wrestling is not against blood and flesh but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual [forces] of evil in the heavenlies. Eph. 6:12The rebellion of Satan is in the realm of God’s wisdom; we may think that it would be better for God to destroy Satan and remove him from the universe, but God is wise.

A wise man needs trouble for the manifestation of his wisdom; unless there are problems to be solved and troubles to be sorted out, the wisdom of the wise man cannot be seen.

In a sense, God needs Satan to manifest His wisdom; even the rebellion of Satan is within the realm of God’s wisdom, for if it were not for Satan’s rebellion, God’s wisdom could not be made known in a full way.

Unknowingly and unwittingly, Satan has created many opportunities for God’s wisdom to be manifested in a multifarious way; by what he did, Satan caused the wisdom of God to be seen in various ways and aspects and from many angles.

Satan came in to ruin man by getting into man and causing his body to be transmuted to become the flesh and by causing his soul to become the self independent from God.

But God in Christ as the Spirit came to not only rescue and redeem man but also to regenerate, transform, and glorify man, so that man would be built up into the church for the manifestation of the multifarious wisdom of God.

We in the church are the Body of Christ; we are the joint-heirs of God, the joint-partakers of Christ.

We were once ruined, corrupted, and damaged by Satan, but now we are in the process of being transformed and glorified to express the multifarious wisdom of God to Satan and his angels.

We were dead in trespasses and sins; we were scattered and divided, not being able to be one.

We all were in a hopeless situation. But God in His wisdom came in, and He made us the church. He redeemed us, saved us, cleansed us, freed us, and regenerate us; furthermore, He made us one with God and with one another in and as the church.

The church is the greatest boast of God because the church is the masterpiece of God, His wise exhibition in the universe.

The church through which God’s wisdom is so marvelously displayed is God’s masterpiece. In the eyes of God the most wonderful thing in the universe is the church, for through the church God’s multifarious wisdom is made known to Satan and his angels. The day is coming when Satan and his angels will be put to shame. They will realize that everything they have done has given God the opportunity to manifest His wisdom. In the same principle, our failures, mistakes, defeats, and wrongdoings have also given God opportunities to display His wisdom. Life-study of Ephesians, pp. 272-273, by Witness Lee

Through the church, the wisdom of God is marvellously displayed in the universe; the church is God’s masterpiece, and Satan and his angels will be put to shame by the church.

When we as God’s chosen and redeemed people partake of and enjoy the riches of Christ, these riches constitute us the church; through the church, the multifarious wisdom of God is made known to the angelic rulers and authorities in the heavenlies.

Praise the Lord, a day is coming when, through the church, Satan and his angels will be put to shame, while we are being brought into glory!

This is worth paying the price; this is worth our consecration.

If we see that the multifarious wisdom of God will be manifested through the church, we will realize that even our failures, mistakes, defeats, and wrongdoings give God an opportunity to display His wisdom and make us the display of His wisdom!

Satan will try as much as he can to damage us, and he may seem to succeed, but one day he will realize that God has been doing a wise work in all His people to make them the manifestation of His wisdom to him and his angels!

And our response is simply to give ourselves to cooperate with the Lord and participate in this, so that we may be built into the church through which the multifarious wisdom of God is made known!

We praise You, Lord, for making us joint-heirs and joint-partakers of Christ in the church, the Body of Christ! Hallelujah, we who once were ruined, corrupted, and damaged, we are now redeemed, regenerated, and in the process of being transformed in the glorious image of Christ! Praise the Lord, we who were once scattered, divided, and dead in sins and offenses, we are now saved, liberated, and united to be one with God and one with the saints in the church! Praise You Lord for using even our failures, mistakes, and defeats as opportunities for You to display Your wisdom! Hallelujah, the day is coming when, through the church, Satan and his angels will be put to shame! Praise the Lord, the day is coming when God will display His multifarious wisdom through the church, His masterpiece!
