A genuine Christian life is one that loves the Lord and keeps itself open to the Lord and stops its doing; we simply need to love the Lord and keep ourselves open to Him, and we need to stop our doing so that He would do everything that He wants to do.
When we stop our being and let the Lord do everything in us, He transforms us metabolically.
If we just spend time with the Lord and behold Him, He infuses us with Himself, and His very element constitutes us within.
By beholding the Lord with an unveiled face, we will reflect Him not because we do something but simply as a result of our beholding Him (2 Cor. 3:18).
As we just spend time with the Lord, we grow in life, we advance to maturity, we’re being renewed, and transformation takes place.
At the same time, the Lord is faithful to bring in many situations and persons that will work together with Him to break and tear down our outer man so that our inner man would be renewed and expressed.
We are vessels to contain God as life, but the vessel is still so much clay, so much of the natural man and the self; therefore, the Lord does both a constituting work inwardly and a breaking work outwardly.
There is a treasure in our earthen vessel, but the vessel must become transparent and clean so that the treasure may be seen.
We need to be conformed to the treasure within us, so the Lord has a way through the environment and also inwardly to both saturate us with His element and tear down what is natural in our being.
The Triune God is making us the same as Christ in life, nature, expression, and function; this is a lifelong process in which we are saved from self-likeness and are made into the likeness of Christ, the indwelling treasure.
May we simply be open vessels to the Lord; may we keep our vessel open to His divine dispensing.
On one hand, He exposes what we are in our natural man; on the other hand, He adds Himself to us to be the very constituting element of our being.
If we open to the Lord and learn to keep our being open to Him, He will make His home deep down in our heart.
But if we don’t open the depths of our being to Him, He can’t dispense Himself into us, and our heart cannot be His home.
May we be saved from having a shallow relationship with the Lord; may we be saved from merely having an outward or superficial contact with Him.
May we touch the Lord and allow Him to touch us so that, from the depths of our being, we may open to Him and allow Him to work Himself into us little by little, day by day.
He is faithful to touch what needs to be touched in our being, and we will be thankful that He has done this.
We are just vessels, and we just open to Him; as we open, He works on us, and He dispenses Himself into us.
We need to Love the Lord and Keep Ourselves Open to Him, Stop our Doing and let Him do Everything
We are not “instruments” that God can “use” for His purpose; we are primarily vessels that are open to Him so that He may dispense Himself into us.
We are not primarily “tools” for God to use for what He wants to do; we are living vessels who learn to open to His divine dispensing.
A genuine Christian is one that loves the Lord and keeps himself open to the Lord and stops his doing so that the Lord does everything (Mark 12:30; 1 John 4:16-21).
We just need to love the Lord and keep ourselves open to Him; at the same time, we need to stop our doing and let Him do everything in us and for us.
We are just enjoyers; we just enjoy who He is, what He is, and what He is doing.
And we are so grateful to Him because He does everything in us and for us!
He saved us. He is renewing us. He is transforming us. He is sanctifying us.
He is the One who does everything, and we simply open to Him and let Him do it in us.
This doesn’t mean that we’re lazy or indifferent; rather, we are on the alert, we’re sober, and we are actively opening to Him.
We need to love the Lord and keep ourselves open to Him so that He may dispense Himself into us.
This doesn’t make us dumb or sleepy, passively waiting for God to do everything; rather, we stop our natural man from doing things for the Lord, and we let the Lord do everything for us and in us.
This is possible; this is also required of the Lord. He wants us to be alert, but He doesn’t want us to do anything for Him.
Rather, He wants to dispense Himself into us to fill our vessels so that He may be expressed through us.
We simply need to love the Lord and keep ourselves open to Him, giving Him every opportunity to do everything that He wants to do in us and with us (Eph. 3:17).
When we open to Him, He makes His home in our heart a little more.
When we focus only on Him and stop our being from doing anything for Him, He works Himself into us a little more.
The unique commandment in the New Testament is to love the Lord our God with all our heart and with all our soul and with all our strength (Matt. 22:37).
When we love the Lord and keep ourselves open to Him, He can work in us and He can dispense Himself into us.
We are vessels created by God to be filled with Him as our life and everything.
We should not be afraid to open to the Lord; we should not have any fear of opening our whole being to Him.
The only one who is afraid to open to the Lord is Satan, and any thought in us that hinders us from opening to the Lord is from the enemy.
We simply need to open to Him without any reservation and even ask Him to cause us to open to Him.
The Lord’s heart is always good toward us; He has only good and kindness toward us when we open to Him.
When we love the Lord and keep ourselves open to Him, He comes in and does everything.
We as vessels simply contain Him and enjoy His filling and His doing.
Satan, however, wants to distract us from opening to the Lord by giving us ideas on what to do and how to know more; we don’t need more doing and more knowledge – we need more of the Lord being infused into us.
We will eventually reach the point that we will hold nothing back from Him – we will open our whole being to Him, and He will have access to every part of our inner being.
He knows when and how, and He will fill us with Himself.
Whether in sickness or in health, in sorrow or in joy, in good or in not-so-good situations, we need to simply love the Lord and keep ourselves open to Him so that He would dispense Himself into us more.
We may experience many heart-rending things, we may be in many trials, and we may have many difficulties; in all these things, we don’t seek to overcome or become more spiritual but simply to open our being to the Lord and love Him more.
We can testify that we have seen brothers and sisters who, even on their deathbeds, call on the name of the Lord and keep their being open to the Lord.
They may not understand why sickness has come and they may not be fully aware of how sick they are, but they love the Lord and keep their vessel open to the Lord for His divine dispensing.
This is what the Lord desires to have; He wants to gain us as open vessels, those who love the Lord and keep their being open to Him.
At the same time, we don’t just do things for Him in ourselves but stop our being and let Him do everything in us and for us.
Lord Jesus, we love you. We are here open to You. Have mercy upon us, Lord, that we would open our being a little more to You today. Save us from having any part of our being closed to You. Lord, by Your grace we want to open our mind, emotion, and will to You. We just want to love the Lord and keep our being open to Him. We want to keep our being entirely and thoroughly open to You. We stop our being with our desire to do things for God; we simply open to allow God to do everything in us and for us. Amen, Lord, we’re just vessels open to You; come in, and have every opportunity to do everything You want to do. We open our vessel to You; we simply want to contain You and enjoy Your filling and Your doing!
Through Genuine Prayer our Doing will be Stopped and the Lord will do Everything in us as we keep ourselves Open to Him
God will never force Himself on us; He has a purpose which He wants to accomplish, but He will never force us to do what He wants to do.
If we open to the Lord, He will do everything in us, but if we don’t open to Him, He will not force us to open.
He gave us a free will; we all are free to choose the Lord and His will.
If we love the Lord, He will become our rich portion, but if we don’t love Him, He will not force us to love Him.
We need to exercise our free will to love the Lord and keep ourselves open to Him.
We should forget about our bad temper or the besetting sins; we should not look at our weak points and our mistakes but simply turn to the Lord and keep ourselves open to Him.
Just love the Lord. Just keep yourself open to Him.
The only solution to our problems of peculiarity and our weaknesses is to be filled with the Lord.
And being filled with Him depends on our loving Him and keeping ourselves open to Him all the time.
For this, we need to have the proper prayer, the genuine prayer.
When we pray the genuine prayer, we stop our doing and just love the Lord.
We all can testify that it is not easy to stop ourselves from doing things for the Lord unless we pray.
When we pray in a genuine way, when we pray the genuine prayer, our doing will be stopped.
When we contact the Lord in spirit and pray, our natural being is stopped, and we stop our doing.
The more we pray ourselves into the genuine prayer, the more we are killed. It’s not us who gets killed – it is our activity.
Our genuine prayer will kill our activities one by one; our prayer will keep us open to the Lord so that He would come in and do everything in us and for us.
What stops us from doing things for the Lord is our genuine prayer; when we pray, we breathe the Lord in, and our activity is stopped.
Our prayer stirs us up to love the Lord and calms us down from doing things for Him.
The more we pray the genuine prayer, the more our activities are stopped and we open our being to Him for what He wants to do.
Sometimes our prayer will even kill our burden; we will be emptied and cleansed, and we will be calmed down, absolutely open for the Lord to do what He wants to do.
Our genuine prayer stops us, kills us, and causes us to be a living vessel absolutely open to the Lord for His filling.
This is the proper and genuine Christian life. A genuine Christian life is one that loves the Lord and keeps itself open to the Lord and stops its doing.
The proper and genuine Christian life is that we’re crucified with Christ and it is no longer us who lives but Christ who lives in us (Gal. 2:20).
Yet we still live, yet not us but Christ who lives in us, and the life we live is by faith, in the organic union with Him.
By the Lord’s mercy, may we learn to open our being to Him and pray, and may we pray the genuine prayer so that we stop our being and live a genuine Christian life.
When we pray the genuine prayer, we will be a living vessel absolutely calmed down and open so that Christ may have the free course to fill us up.
And when He fills us, He does everything for us, while we simply enjoy His doing.
May we learn to open to Him and pray the genuine prayer that stops our doing so that He would come in and do everything in us and for us.
This proper prayer, deeper prayer, genuine prayer, is to love the Lord and be open to Him (Eph. 3:17-19).
Lord Jesus, by Your grace we open our entire being to You. We want to pray and open every part of our being to Your divine dispensing. We choose to keep ourselves entirely and thoroughly open to You. We want to have the proper prayer, the genuine prayer, that stops our doing and keeps our being open to You. Amen, Lord, we open our living vessel to You to be filled with You. May our inner being be calmed down and fully open for Your filling. Come in, Lord, and do what You need to do in us. Work yourself into us. Fill us up with Yourself and do everything for us. May we have a genuine and proper Christian life, a life filled with Christ! Amen, may we be those who love the Lord and keep ourselves open to Him, and may we stop our doing so that the Lord would do everything in us.

- Hymns on this topic:
– In my spirit He remains, / With His power He sustains; / As the Spirit one with me, / He is my reality. / Moving in me day by day, / Mingling with me all the way, / All my steps He regulates, / Every part He saturates. (Hymns #548, stanzas 3-4)
– In tenderness He deals with me, / While I stay with joy in His presence; / And He saturates and supplies my soul / With all His precious essence. / And He speaks to me and reveals to me / All His riches for me today; / And in every way I partake of Him, / My problems all passed away. (Hymns #554 stanza 3)
– Lord, teach us how to pray, / Not as the nations do in vain, / But turn us from our way, / And cause us, Lord, to call on You each day— / Lord Jesus, grow in us… / Make us in spirit poor; / Lord, take whate’er we think we know. / We’ll open to life’s flow, / And thus take in the life that makes us grow— / Lord Jesus, grow in us. (Hymns #1132 stanzas 1 and 5)
The only solution to our problems [of peculiarity] is the filling up of the Lord within us. And this depends upon our loving Him and keeping ourselves open to Him all the time. The proper prayer, the deeper prayer, the genuine prayer, is just to keep yourself loving Him and open to Him… It is not so simple to stop your doing. But by His mercy through the genuine prayer your doing will be stopped. The genuine prayer is always the killing prayer. It kills your every doing. The more you pray yourself into this genuine prayer, the more you are killed. Actually, it is not you who are killed but your activity. It is not you in yourself but you in your activity that will be killed. Your genuine prayer will one by one kill all your activities, and it will calm you down. Sometimes it will even kill your burden. Then you will be a clean, empty, and open vessel. You will be a living vessel absolutely calmed down so that your Master has the absolute free course to fill you up. When He fills you up, He does everything for you. Then you simply enjoy His doing. This is the proper, genuine Christian life. A genuine Christian life is one that loves the Lord and keeps itself open to the Lord and stops its doing. Then the Lord comes in and the Lord does everything and this vessel just contains the Lord and enjoys the Lord’s filling up and enjoys the Lord’s doing. This is the proper and genuine Christian life. What the Lord wants is not that we do things for Him but that we love Him and keep our being open to Him.
But the more we love the Lord, the more we want to do things for Him! Oh Lord!
So we need to pray the genuine prayer that stops our doing and calms our being, and then our being will be fully open for His filling.
The proper & genuine Christian life is to keep oneself open to the Lord, giving Him every opportunity to do everything He wants to do.
Our God would never force us to keep ourselves open.
We must exercise our free will to become top enjoyers of Jesus, enjoying Him & enjoying His doing.
May we allow the Spirit to slay all our activity one by one, making us a clean, empty & open vessel.
A genuine Christian life is one that loves the Lord and keeps itself open to Him and stops its doing.
Lord we exercise our spirit to love you Lord and be open to you. Thank you it is you who will act to do your will. Hallelujah!

The only requirements for the genuine Christian life is that we love the Lord our God and keep ourselves open to Him!
We should stop our doing, forget about our weaknesses and besetting sins and just love Him, opening our entire being to Him, through deep, genuine prayer, so that He may fill us.
Then as He fills us we are sober and alert and our peculiarities are taken care of so that we may live Him.
Amen, Lord we open to you right now.
Amen
Brother we are crucified in Christ and with Christ.
Our will is to choose him and to open to him thatHe can fill our heart with His love so we can be rooted in His love and love him. There more we open willingly there more we are rooted in love and the more Christ lives in us and we not.
We just need to forget all things and enjoy the Christ we have who is doing all things for us ! Wow!
We shall love the lord our God with all our heart and with all our soul and mind!
