Jesus is the Faithful Witness, the Firstborn of the dead, and the Ruler of the Kings

And the living One; and I became dead, and behold, I am living forever and ever; and I have the keys of death and of Hades. Rev. 1:18. Article on, Jesus is the Faithful Witness, the Firstborn of the dead, and the Ruler of the Kings

Christ as the redeeming Lamb has seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, to observe and search us, to infuse and transfuse us, and to transform us; we can enjoy Christ as the faithful Witness, the Firstborn of the dead and the ruler of the kings of the earth. Hallelujah for our wonderful Christ!

We today can enjoy and experience the Divine Trinity in full; we can experience and enjoy the Father, the Son, and the Spirit in full so that we may become His corporate expression.

The experience and enjoyment of the Divine Trinity in full are consummated by the Father, the seven Spirits, and Christ (Rev. 1:4-5).

We need to experience and enjoy God the Father as the One who is, who was, and who is coming. We need to enjoy and experience the seven Spirits, the sevenfold intensified Spirit.

And we need to enjoy and experience Jesus Christ as the faithful Wintess, the Firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth.

At one point, when John fell down at the Lord’s feet for he was so taken over by the vision, the Lord told him, Don’t be afraid, I am the living one; I became dead and now I am alive, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.

Yes, death is still here and it is the most powerful thing in the world, but Christ rules over death. Death still operates in the old creation, but the authority of death is with Christ.

We need to know Him as the firstborn of the dead and realize that right now He is the Ruler of the kings of the earth.

We may not understand what is going on, and we may not realize what really is happening, especially in our country or in areas where there are protests and wars; but there is a Ruler, and we as the church can pray one with Him.

The Ruler over the kings of the world is our Head, and we can be joined to Him in prayer, being one with Him to pray uplifted prayers so that He would exercise His authority over the governments and all the things happening for His sake. Amen.

May we enjoy, experience, and know the Divine Trinity in full, even in His consummation, even as we approach the end of this age.

May we know, enjoy, and experience the Father as the One who is and who was and who is coming, the seven Spirits of God as the seven lamps of fire burning before God’s throne to carry out His administration, and Christ as the faithful Witness, the Firstborn from the dead, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth.

The Seven Spirits are the Seven Eyes of the Lamb to Infuse us with Christ and to Execute God’s Administration

And I saw in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures and in the midst of the elders a Lamb standing as having [just] been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. Rev. 5:6According to Rev. 5:6, the seven Spirits are the seven eyes of the Lamb. This may not make sense to the theologians, who try really hard to explain and apprehend the Triune God, but this is what the Bible says.

Our Christ today has seven eyes, and these eyes are the seven Spirits of God running to and fro all over the earth.

We should not be afraid of the seven eyes; the Lord is not here to spy on us but rather, to look at us, to infuse us with Christ, to make us sons of God in full.

He wants to make us the same as He is. We should simply open to Him, open to the Lamb with seven eyes, and allow Him to infuse us and transform us.

The Lamb of God with the seven Spirits of God is watching us and observing us, and He infuses us with Himself as we behold Him; we behold Him with an unveiled face, and we are transformed into the same image from glory to glory (2 Cor. 3:18).

Christ is the redeeming Lamb on the throne, and He has seven observing and searching eyes for executing God’s judgment upon the universe.

His eyes as the seven Spirits run to and fro all over the earth, and He sees the situation in each and every country.

His eyes are everywhere for searching and observing, and the seven Spirits execute God’s judgment upon the universe to fulfill God’s eternal purpose which will consummate in the building up of the New Jerusalem (Rev. 4:5; 21:2, 9-10).

And we as believers in Christ have the privilege to pray one with the Lord for Him to advance His move on the earth.

For example, before communism fell in Russia, there were so many saints who were burdened by the Lord to pray for it; then, suddenly, communism fell, and the gospel could be preached in this vast country.

These days as Russia is invading Ukraine and there is war, death, famine, and refugees, we can join ourselves to the Lord and seek His feeling in prayer so that we may release His will on earth even as He does His will in the heaven.

The seven Spirits, as the seven eyes of the Lamb, are also for transfusing; right now, we are being transfused with the element of God as we open to Him.

These seven eyes are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth, running "to and fro on the whole earth" (Rev. 1:10). The seven Spirits as the seven eyes of the Lamb are also for transfusing. When Christ looks at us with His seven eyes, these eyes, which are the seven Spirits, will transfuse Christ's element into us...As the Lord enlightens and judges us, He looks at us, and through the seven Spirits as His eyes He transfuses Himself into us for our transformation. Witness Lee, the Conclusion of the New Testament, p. 868When Christ looks at us with His seven eyes, these eyes – which are the seven Spirits – will transfuse Christ’s element and Christ Himself into us for our transformation.

Outwardly and in the world situation, the seven Spirits observe, watch, and operate to accomplish God’s administration.

Inwardly and among the people of God, the seven Spirits infuse us with the Triune God and causes us to be transformed into the same image as Christ.

We can simply open to the Lord and allow Him to infuse us; we can tell Him how much we need Him, and we can just open our inner being to His infusing and transfusing of Himself into us.

As He observes us and infuses us, anything that is negative is being removed, and we are transformed into the same image of Christ.

Especially these days, we feel that the Lord is doing an intensified work in His economy to infuse us with Himself and transform us into His image so that we may be built up as the Body of Christ, even to be produced as His overcomers, and to consummate the New Jerusalem.

How wonderful it is that we can tell the Lord from the bottom of our heart,

Lord Jesus, we simply want to behold You; infuse us with Yourself more abundantly and transform us into Your image. Amen, Lord, let us look at You with Your seven eyes, and work Yourself into us for the sake of the Body, the kingdom, the new man, and the bride of Christ. Here we are, Lord, we just open to You. Keep us beholding You and allowing You to infuse us with Yourself. We are nothing, but You are everything; infuse us with Yourself as the seven Spirits of God and transfuse the element of God into us. Transform us into Your image to make us the same as You are. Make us Your overcomers, Lord!

Enjoy Jesus Christ as the Faithful Witness, the Firstborn of the dead and the Ruler of the kings of the earth

And from Jesus Christ, the faithful Witness, the Firstborn of the dead, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and has released us from our sins by His blood. Rev. 1:5

Rev. 1:5 speaks of “Jesus Christ, the faithful Witness, the Firstborn of the dead, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth”.

As the living and faithful Witness of God, Christ is the One who testifies God not only by His word and deeds but also by what He is; His being is the testimony of God.

When He was on earth, the Lord Jesus did not only embody God and express Him, but He was the faithful Witness of God, the testimony of God, the expression of God. He testified in His human living what God is.

Many people knew there is a God but wondered who God is; here was a man who was God, and He witnessed God.

And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us (and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only Begotten from the Father), full of grace and reality. John 1:14 No one has ever seen God; the only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared [Him.] John 1:18 And to the messenger of the church in Laodicea write: These things says the Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the beginning of the creation of God. Rev. 3:14No one has ever seen God, though many know there is a God; however, Jesus Christ the man lived on earth and was the testimony of God, the faithful Witness of God.

In Christ, we see whatever God is (John 1:18), for He testified God not only by His word but also by what He is. His very being was the testimony of God.

When we enjoy Jesus Christ as the faithful Witness of God, our whole being will become a testimony of God, for we will testify of what God is to us and in us.

Christ is the Firstborn of the dead; this refers to His resurrection. Col. 1:15 says that Christ is the Firstborn of all creation, and Rev. 1:5 says that He is the firstborn from the dead.

There were some others who were resurrected, such as Lazarus, but they eventually died; Jesus Christ, however, is the Firstborn of the dead.

This indicates the new creation of God, the creation of God in the resurrection of Jesus. This is a new beginning.

With God’s first creation there was a beginning, and with the Lord’s resurrection, there is a new beginning.

When we were regenerated, born again, we experienced a new beginning in God’s new creation, His second creation.

Though Lazarus was resurrected from the dead (John 11:43-44), his resurrection was only temporary, for later on, he died.

However, the Lord’s resurrection is not temporary but permanent, for He overcame death, and He will live forever (Rev. 1:18).

He is the living One, the One who became dead and now is living forever and ever, having the keys of death and of Hades.

In 1 Pet. 3:18 we are told that, when the Lord was dying on the cross, He was dying in the flesh, but the essence of divinity was strengthening Him, enlivening Him.

In that Spirit, He descended into the abyss and declared to the evil angels His victory over their leader, how He destroyed the devil on the cross.

Therefore also God highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, That in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, And every tongue should openly confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. Phil. 2:9-11Then, He walked out of death and took the keys of death and Hades. Hallelujah! Now He is resurrection life itself, and He is the Firstborn of the dead.

In His ascension, the Son of God is presented as the Ruler of the kings of the earth (Rev. 1:5). He is the Ruler over the presidents, kings, sultans, prime ministers, and dictators.

We can simply stand on His side and pray that He would exercise His rulership.

Having passed through incarnation, human living, crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension, He was enthroned above all kings.

Now the Lord Jesus is the enthroned One, and He rules over the earth, over the entire world, and He is the Ruler of the kings of the earth. Jesus Christ is Lord – He is the Ruler of the kings of the earth, and He is enthroned far above all rule and authority and power. Amen!

May we be those who enjoy and experience the Divine Trinity in full, even to have the full and complete enjoyment of the Divine Trinity in our Christian life.

May we allow Him to infuse us with His seven eyes, the seven Spirits of God, so that we may be transformed and become the same as He is.

May we enjoy and experience Him as the wonderful Christ – the faithful Witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth.

Lord Jesus, we come to You to enjoy You as the faithful Witness, the Firstborn of the dead, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth! Amen, Lord Jesus, You are the faithful Witness of God, testifying of who and what God is. We come to You to enjoy God, know God, and experience God. Hallelujah, Christ went through death and entered into resurrection, and now He is the Firstborn from the dead! He has overcome death and He rose from the dead, even taking the keys of death and of Hades! Amen, Lord, we praise You as the One who was dead and now is living, and who lives forever! Praise You, Lord Jesus, the Ruler of the kings of the earth! We give You all the glory and we join ourselves to You, our ascended Head, to pray in oneness with You so that You may execute Your will and administration on earth! Jesus Christ is Lord!
