God is being Wrought into us to make us the New Jerusalem: we need to be Open Vessels

...I will write upon him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which descends out of heaven from My God, and My new name. Rev. 3:12

The Lord Jesus will write the name of His God, the name of the city of God (the New Jerusalem), and His new name upon the one in the recovered church who overcomes.

God is working Himself into us to make us a living composition of God and man consummating in the New Jerusalem, and we simply need to remain open to His daily divine dispensing to be produced as His overcomers in this age. Amen!

As believers in Christ, we are becoming the New Jerusalem; we are in the process of becoming, working out, living out, and being the New Jerusalem.

First, we need to see a vision of the New Jerusalem and realize that the holy city is a composition of divinity and humanity blended, mingled, and built up together.

The New Jerusalem as the consummation of God’s work throughout the ages is the consummation of the central vision of God’s economy and of the high peak of the divine revelation.

It is a corporate God-man, God mingled with man and man mingled with God for God to dwell in man and for man to dwell in God.

The New Jerusalem is the bride, the wife of the Lamb; the holy city, Jerusalem, is prepared as a bride for her husband.

In the New Jerusalem, we see a loving pair eternally – God and man, the processed and consummated Triune God and the redeemed and glorified tripartite man.

The whole Bible speaks of this divine romance, how God fell in love with man and did many things to draw man to Himself, get inside of man, and take man through a process of transformation in order for man to match Him for their marriage.

In this age, the age of the church, we believers in Christ are betrothed to Christ as our Bridegroom, and we aspire to be the Lord’s overcomers so that we may enter into the wedding feast, having a foretaste of the New Jerusalem given to us as a reward in the millennium.

The Lord promises to the one who overcomes in the recovered church that He will make him a pillar in the temple of God, and he will never get out of it again.

This means that the Lord wants to build us into Himself, into the Triune God, so that we may be pillars in the Triune God.

In the New Jerusalem we see no temple, for the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple; for us to be pillars in the temple of God is to be pillars in the Triune God.

We aspire to be the Lord’s overcomers today so that He may make us pillars in the Triune God, that is for, Him to constitute Himself into us and to build us into Himself so that we and Him, He and us, would become a corporate constitution, an organic composition of God and man for eternity.

What God is, the Nature of the New Jerusalem and the Person of the Lord are being Wrought into the Overcomers

That the name of God, the name of the New Jerusalem, and the Lord’s new name are written upon the overcomer indicates that the overcomer is possessed by God, by the New Jerusalem, and by the Lord; that God Himself, His city (the New Jerusalem), and the Lord Himself all belong to him; and that he is one with God, with the New Jerusalem, and with the Lord. The name of God denotes God Himself, the name of the New Jerusalem denotes the city itself, and the name of the Lord denotes the Lord Himself. That the name of God, the name of the New Jerusalem, and the name of the Lord are written upon the overcomer indicates that what God is, the nature of the New Jerusalem, and the person of the Lord have all been wrought into the overcomer…The New Jerusalem in the millennial kingdom will be a prize only to the overcoming saints. Rev. 3:12, footnote 3, Recovery Version BibleRev. 3:12b says that the Lord will write upon the one who overcomes in the recovered church the name of His God, the name of the city of God, the New Jerusalem, and His new name.

What does this mean? What does it mean for the Lord to write His name, the name of the New Jerusalem, and His new name on us?

The name denotes a certain reality, a certain person, and a particular state of being. You cannot be named with the name of God unless you have become the same as God.

The fact that the name of God, the name of the New Jerusalem, and the Lord’s new name are written upon the overcomer indicates that the overcomer is possessed by God, by the New Jerusalem, and by the Lord.

This means that God Himself, His city (the New Jerusalem) and the Lord Himself all belong to Him, for they have become the overcomer’s experience.

The overcomer is one with God, one with the New Jerusalem, and one with the Lord.

This should be our reality today. The name of God denotes God Himself, the name of the New Jerusalem denotes the city itself, and the name of the Lord denotes the Lord Himself.

The fact that the name of God, the name of the New Jerusalem, and the Lord’s new name are written on the overcomer indicates that what God is, the nature of the New Jerusalem, and the person of the Lord have all been wrought into the overcomer (John 14:19-20, 23; Eph. 3:16-17).

We as the Lord’s overcomers to be need to remain in the process of having God wrought into our being little by little, day by day.

If we fail, we can wash our robes in the blood of the Lamb and come forward to partake of Him as the tree of life, having the right to enter by the gates into the city (Rev. 20:14).

We have the right to participate in what God is. It is our divine right, our birthright by being born of God, for us to enjoy God, partake of God, have God wrought into us, and be one with God.

As we open to the Lord, He shines on us, and anything that does not match His life and nature is exposed.

We confess under His shining light, and we can come forward to the Lord to enjoy Him.

May we daily follow the Lord’s leading to repent, confess what His light exposes, and claim the right to participate in what God is.

May we open to the Lord daily to ask Him to lead us into the reality of what He is so that we may enjoy Him, partake of Him, and be constituted with Him.

We want His name to be written on us, that is, we want His person to be wrought into us. We are learning how to cooperate with the Lord for this day by day.

In that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you...Jesus answered and said to him, If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word, and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make an abode with him. John 14:20, 23The mentioning of the New Jerusalem as a prize to the overcomer indicates that this promise will be fulfilled in the millennial kingdom.

On one hand, we will all enjoy the Lord being fully wrought into us and being fully one with us in the New Jerusalem for eternity in the new heaven and new earth.

On the other hand, we aspire to be the Lord’s overcomers so that we may enjoy the New Jerusalem in the millennium, in the next age.

God’s central work is to build Himself into us, and He does this little by little, day by day.

The Lord will not put His name, the name of His city, and His new name on us as a radical change; He is working Himself into us to the extent that we bear His name, the name of the New Jerusalem, and His new name.

We are actually becoming God in life, in nature, in expression, and in function, but not in the Godhead; this is all taking place right now.

And we don’t have to say anything for others to recognize what we are – the name of God is inscribed in us, and all can see how much of Christ is wrought into our being.

And those who have gone ahead of us can see and recognize that Christ is wrought into our being, and they rejoice together with us.

Lord Jesus, work Yourself into us a little more today. Write on us Your name, the name of the New Jerusalem, and Your new name. Amen, Lord, may we be possessed by God, by the New Jerusalem, and by the Lord. May we be one with the Lord, with the New Jerusalem, and with God in every possible way. We just open to You. Work into us what You are, the nature of the New Jerusalem, and the person of the Lord. Oh Lord Jesus, we love You and we want to be one with You! Make us part of Your overcoming bride. Make us pillars in the temple of God and write Your name on us! Make us the same as You are in every possible way. Amen, Lord Jesus, we want to be the overcomers in the recovered church who receive the enjoyment and experience of the New Jerusalem in the millennium! Make us Your overcomers today!

God is Gaining a Mutual Dwelling Place, a Living Composition of God Mingled and Blended with Man

...Come here; I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb. And he carried me away in spirit onto a great and high mountain and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. Rev. 21:9-10The New Jerusalem is not an outward, material, or physical city; it is a living person, for it is the wife of the Lamb.

What God cares is not anything that is outward; He cares for a living composition of His chosen, redeemed, regenerated, transformed, and glorified people.

He wants His people to experience and enjoy Him and be built up together to express God for eternity; this satisfies His heart’s desire.

Today God is gaining such a mutual dwelling place of God and man, a living composition of God mingled and blended with man.

He is gaining a dwelling place that is composed of both God and man, and He will dwell among and in man.

He is gaining those whom He has created, chosen, redeemed, regenerated, and transformed to be glorified in His image.

We do not fully understand or explain such a profound concept, but this is something marvellous that the Lord is doing today!

He is gaining the dwelling place of God and the wife of His Son, Christ.

He is gaining a living person, a living composition of God mingled with man. First, He gained Christ, the first God-man, and He dwelt in Him bodily in all His fullness.

Jesus Christ was the tabernacle of God with man (John 1:14), and He came to enlarge Himself to become God’s temple, the church (1 Cor. 3:16).

Now we, all the believers in Christ, are part of God’s dwelling place; we are the temple of God.

For eternity in the new heaven and new earth, there will be the New Jerusalem, the wife of the Lamb (Rev. 21:9-10), a living composition of God’s redeemed people.

The New Jerusalem includes both the Old Testament saints (represented by the twelve tribes) and the New Testament saints (represented by the twelve apostles) – see Rev. 21:12, 14.

We are the spiritual people of God who are built together to be God’s dwelling place.

First, we experience regeneration through Christ’s death and resurrection; this is signified by the pearl gates of the New Jerusalem, the entrance into the city.

Our entrance into the New Jerusalem is our regeneration; when we were born again of God, we entered into the New Jerusalem by the pearl gates.

A pearl is produced when a grain of sand enters into an oyster, a living thing, and the oyster secretes its life juice around it to cover it with layer after layer, resulting in a pearl.

We “got into Christ” and “hurt Him” on the cross, and He secretes His resurrection life around us to regenerate us and bring us into the New Jerusalem, the mutual dwelling place of God and mane.

It had a great and high wall and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names inscribed, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel...And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. Rev. 21:12, 14Through Christ’s death and resurrection, we become pearls to enter the kingdom of God through regeneration John 3:5). Hallelujah!

Day by day, we enjoy God’s nature, His very essence, signified by the gold of the New Jerusalem (Rev. 21:18, 21).

Our essence as believers in Christ is God Himself, and we enjoy the divine nature as we come to His word every day.

The Spirit is also working in us and around us to transform us into the image of God, signified by jasper.

The one sitting on the throne has the appearance of jasper, and the wall of the city, signifying us, also has the appearance of jasper. Wonderful!

The Father’s divine nature (gold), the Son’s redemption and our regeneration (pearl), and the Spirit’s transforming work (precious stones) produce all the components that comprise the eternal dwelling place of God.

This dwelling place of God, the New Jerusalem, is a living composition of God and man being mingled and blended together. Hallelujah!

Lord Jesus, thank You for Your death and resurrection so that You may regenerate us with the divine life. Hallelujah, through faith in Christ, we have been regenerated by God to be pearls, thus entering by the gates into the New Jerusalem. Praise the Lord, we are regenerated to be children of God, citizens of the kingdom of God. Amen, Lord, we want to enjoy You in Your life and nature today. Make Your life become our life and Your nature be wrought into us more day by day. We open to Your transforming work. Transform us into the image of Christ so that we may be like precious stones that adorn the New Jerusalem. Amen, Lord Jesus, work Yourself into us, mingle Yourself with us, and blend us with Yourself so that we may be a living composition of God and man blended and mingled together, the New Jerusalem!

Being Open Vessels to the Divine Dispensing to be produced as the New Jerusalem by the Flow of the Divine Life

Blessed are those who wash their robes that they may have right to the tree of life and may enter by the gates into the city. Rev. 22:14The truth in the Bible is so high and lofty, and the purpose of God is so grand and amazing, but the way to accomplish it is so sweet, practical, and simple.

We simply need to be open vessels to the divine dispensing day by day so that we may be produced as the New Jerusalem by the flow of the divine life.

God desires to build Himself into us, but we need to be open to Him as vessels.

We are like pieces of wood who remain in the flow of the divine life to be gradually transformed by having our natural element being removed and the element of God deposited into our being.

God wants to gain pillars in the Triune God, those who are not clay or wood but stone pillars, living stone pillars, and He is doing this.

We simply need to remain open to His divine dispensing day by day.

The way to become the New Jerusalem is to remain open to His divine dispensing.

The river of water of life is flowing freely, and we can be open to the Lord to drink the river, be washed and cleansed, and be constituted with the element of God.

The Lord wants to make us pillars in the temple of God, built into the Triune God, inscribed with the name of God, the name of the New Jerusalem, and His new name; we simply need to be open vessels to His divine dispensing.

The river of life is flowing continually again and again. We need to remain in the flow of life.

As we open to the Lord and enjoy Him daily, we sense that He shines on a particular matter, and we just repent and confess it.

He exposes some things, and we repent; He then simply washes and removes those things away, and we are built up as pillars in God’s temple.

As we open to the Lord in a fresh way every day, allowing Him to expose and remove anything of the natural life, we will become the New Jerusalem.

The natural elements are being washed away and removed, and we become part of the New Jerusalem.

May we pray that the Lord would flow in us and through us to carry away our natural being and replace it with Himself.

We shouldn’t ask the Lord to make us better persons or to improve us; we simply need to ask Him to grow in us and make us part of His bride.

We want to be part of the New Jerusalem.

As we open to Him, contact Him, and remain open to Him as vessels, He flows in us, He removes anything that is natural, and He adds His element, His divine element, to our being.

Little by little, our natural being is removed and consumed, and the inner man is renewed and growing.

God’s goal is to make us the same as He is: we need to ask Him to do this in us, to build Himself into us, and to flow in us as the river of water of life.

It is good to bring these matters to the Lord in prayer, opening to Him again and again and telling Him,

Lord Jesus, we just want to be open vessels to You to receive and enjoy Your divine dispensing. Build Yourself into our being. Make us part of the New Jerusalem. May the river of water of life flow in us and into our entire being. Amen, Lord, we just open to Your flowing within us. Flow into every part of our being. Remove anything that You want to remove and add Yourself to us. Amen, Lord Jesus, flow through us and carry away all our natural being, replacing it with Yourself. We consecrate ourselves to You. We want to remain under the flow of the divine life into our being every day. Make us part of the New Jerusalem! Amen, Lord, we just turn to You, we turn our heart and exercise our spirit. We apply the power of Your precious blood. We pursue You in love We want to be part of Your bride. Cause us to grow in life unto maturity until we reign in life. Amen, Lord, make us Your bride, the New Jerusalem!

What God cares about is a living composition of His chosen, redeemed, regenerated, transformed, and glorified people. All these will be built together to express God for eternity. This will satisfy God forever. Satan will be in the lake of fire. God will be in His living dwelling place. All those He created, chose, redeemed, regenerated, and transformed will be glorified into His image. He will be living in them, and they will be living in Him. No one can adequately explain such a profound concept. Marvelous! This will be God’s dwelling and the wife of His dear Son, Christ. No physical building can be a wife. A wife is something organic—a living person. The New Jerusalem signifies God’s dwelling in the new heaven and new earth. In the New Testament God’s dwelling place on earth was first an individual man, Jesus Christ, signified by the tabernacle (John 1:14), and then a corporate man, the church, signified by the temple (1 Cor. 3:16). In the new heaven and new earth, God’s dwelling, as the wife of the Lamb (Rev. 21:9-10), is also a living composition of His redeemed people, composed of both the Old Testament saints, represented by the twelve tribes, and the New Testament saints, represented by the twelve apostles (vv. 12, 14).

Dear brother, we aspire to be the Lord’s overcomers, those who have the name of God, the name of the New Jerusalem, and the Lord’s name written on us.

May what God is, the nature of the New Jerusalem, and the person of the Lord be wrought into us today so that we may be transformed and become pillars in the Triune God.

How much we need to enjoy and experience the Father with His divine nature, God the Son with His regeneration and resurrection, and God the Spirit with His transformation so that we may be constituted with the Triune God and become part of the New Jerusalem.

Lord Jesus, we open to Your divine dispensing today. Work Yourself into us a little more today. Write Your name on us today!

Amen brother. No one can adequately explain the wonder of the New Jerusalem.

All the Old Testament saints and the New Testament saints will become a living composition of the Father’s nature, the Son’s redemption & regeneration, and the Spirit’s transforming work.

We need to live for being possessed by God, by the New Jerusalem, and by Jesus.

This vision will save us from the vain pursuit of individual spirituality. Abraham, Isaac & Jacob did not live purely for their own spirituality.

Their aspiration was that all the people of God would possess, enjoy & experience the riches of the Good Land.

Like them, we need to look forward to a better country that will be the eternal dwelling place of both God & man in the new heaven and new Earth.

This process continues today through us! If not us, than whom?

Amen my dear brother.

Lord write more of your name into us day by day by the supply of your marvellous dispensing. We desire to become more of You in life, nature and expression, but not in the Godhead. Amen.

I enjoyed this portion from the message.

“Experientially speaking, the writing of God’s name upon us refers to the Lord’s central work, which is to build Himself into us. The Lord would not merely inscribe His name upon us without some kind of radical change taking place in our being first. When the name of God is inscribed upon us, it will be a designation of what we have become and of what has taken place within us. What is taking place within us is that we are becoming God in life, nature, expression, and function but not in the Godhead.”

Praise the Lord my dear brother. Keep enjoying Him.

The New Jerusalem will be a prize in the Kingdom only to the overcoming saints!

It us such ones in the church who have the name of God – God Himself, what God is, the name of the city of God – the nature of the New Jerusalem, and the name of the Lord – His person, wrought into them.

O Father grant us to be strengthened into our inner man today, so that Christ would make His home in our hearts, so that we would not be fashioned by this age but would be transformed by the renewing of our minds to become the New Jerusalem! Amen! Yes Lord dispense more of Yourself into us today!
