God in Christ as the Spirit is our life and person that we may live Christ by enjoying Christ!

God in Christ as the Spirit is our life and person that we may live Christ by enjoying Christ! [picture source: PhotoReview Australia]The Crucial Elements of the Bible are Christ, the Spirit, Life, and the Church. Today we are enjoying something related to LIFE – the emphasis when we come to life in the Bible is that God in Christ as the Spirit of reality is the believer’s life and everything so that Christ may live in the believers!

What is life? What is really life? The plant life, the animal life, and even the human life is perishing, passing away – these kinds of life are not the real life. The real life is God Himself in Christ as the Spirit of reality coming into us!

When we believed in the Lord, we received the life that is really life – God in Christ as the Spirit mingled Himself with our spirit and brought the divine life into us! This One came into us to be our life and our person – and now God in Christ as the Spirit wants to move in us and live in us.

This is why we believers many times have the feeling that there’s Someone within us “bothering us” and speaking to us, interdicting us about things, giving us feelings about people and situations, and anointing us within. Before we were saved we could live and do whatever we wanted – we were our own master.

But once we got saved, another Person – God in Christ as the Spirit – came into us, and He now lives in us! He mingles Himself with us and grows in us every day! This is Paul’s experience also as he writes in Gal. 2:20,

I am crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith of the son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

The life we live today as believers in Christ is not by our natural man – but it is a life by faith, a life in which we believe that the invisible Triune God is in us as our life and our person that we may be the members of the church as the Body of Christ! How wonderful!

Today we are Jesus living again – our speaking should be His speaking, our living should be His living, and our moving should be His moving. God became a man and He died for us on the cross to accomplish redemption for us – in resurrection, this One became the life-giving Spirit to enter into our human spirit so that He may live in us and move with us!

Where is Christ today? He is in our spirit as the life-giving Spirit! If we see that God as Christ as the Spirit is mingled with our spirit so that Christ may live again in us today, we will simply consecrate ourselves to the Lord and stop all our doing and our living, open up to Him by calling on His name, eating His word, and contacting Him!

This fresh touch with the Lord supplies us and causes us to live and walk in newness of life – we allow Christ to live in us! This is what God desires today – a group of people who have God in Christ as the Spirit in them and who allow Christ to live in them day by day!

If we are those enjoying Christ and opening up to Him in this way, by first stopping our doing and contacting Him, we will be in the process of transformation and conformation until we eventually become God in life and nature but not in the Godhead! How much we need our eyes to be opened to see this and to allow Christ to live in us – Christ is our life, and Christ lives in us!

[sharing inspired from, Living with the Lord (by brother Lee) as quoted in the Morning Revival on The Crucial Elements of the Bible]

Lord, open our eyes to see Christ in us! Thank You for coming into us as the Spirit of reality to mingled Yourself with us! Lord, we want to stop everything – stop our doing, our living, and even our thinking! Lord, You are our life. Lord, You are our living! May our inner being contact You moment by moment all throughout the day to receive Your supply! In our daily living, Lord, may it will be us living by faith – us living in oneness with You! You and us, one entity!

Amen! We need to allow Christ to live in us daily and even moment by moment.Let's stop our doing and turn to Him. The Lord is really awaiting for a group of people who is really living Him out in their daily lives. May we take head to the Lord's call to be always found in Him until we reach maturity and become precious stones ready for the building up of His Body. When will this happened brothers and sisters? This depends on our transformation and growth in life. May we be those who hastens the Lord's coming back. May we be those who call, Lord Jesus come quickly come!
