As believers in Christ, we are those who enthrone the Lord in the centre of our being so that there may be a river of living water flowing in us; Christ is on the throne, and when we give Him the preeminence in all things, being under His headship, there’s a flow of water of life in our inner being.
Lord Jesus, we enthrone You in our being. We give You the preeminence. You are the Head. You are the Lord. We bring our whole being and our whole day with all its activities to You. Set up Your throne in our heart. Oh Lord, we are not on the throne: You are the Lord, You are on the throne, and You are preeminent in us! Flow in us! May there be a river of living water flowing out of the throne of God and of the Lamb into our being! Amen!
This week we come to a wonderful aspect of Christ seen in the book of Revelation, The Lamb-God being on the Throne within the City.
As we look at portions in Revelation chapters 4, 21, and 22, including some portions in Ezekiel chapter 1, we see that there is a throne, and Christ is on the throne. How we adore and worship the Lord Jesus, and how we enthrone Him in our being!
In the book of Revelation, we see Christ not in the stage of His incarnation (seen in the Gospels) or in the stage of inclusion (seen in the Epistles) but in the stage of intensification.
In the first stage, the stage of His incarnation, He brought the infinite God into the finite man, He united, mingled, and incorporated the Triune God with the tripartite man, and He expressed in His humanity the bountiful God in HIs rich attributes through His human virtues. Wow, wonderful!
Then, in the second stage, the stage of inclusion, Christ is now the Spirit, and in this Spirit all the aspects and processes of Christ are included, for He is the life-giving, compound, all-inclusive Spirit with our spirit.
In the stage of His inclusion, Christ was begotten to be God’s firstborn Son, He became the life-giving Spirit, and He regenerates the believers for His Body.
Today we are in the stage of intensification, for Christ as the Spirit has been intensified sevenfold. In the stage of His intensification, Christ intensifies His organic salvation, produces the overcomers, and consummates the New Jerusalem. Hallelujah!
In the stage of intensification, the sevenfold intensified Spirit is the intensification of the Triune God to bring the degraded church back to the enjoyment of Himself for the consummation of God’s New Testament economy.
We need to be brought back to the enjoyment, experience, and expression of Christ in the stage of intensification so that we may be the overcomers He needs today who build up the Body of Christ for the consummation of the New Jerusalem! Amen!
The Lamb-God is on the Throne Within the City: the Redeeming God is on the Throne!

We need to see that, according to Revelation 4:2-3, 22:1-5, and 21:23, the Lamb-God is on the throne within the city of New Jerusalem. We see this when we exercise our spirit and are in spirit.
Just as the apostle John did when he heard a voice saying, Come up here! so we need to do today: we need to exercise our spirit to see the scene in the heavens.
When we’re in our spirit, we see a throne set in heaven. When we genuinely exercise our spirit, the first thing we see is the throne. We come under the ruling of God, under HIs reigning. We simply give Him the first place.
We tell Him, Lord, set up Your throne in my being. I want to be under Your throne. I want to be under Your headship and lordship!
When we see the throne, we realise that we are not the one on the throne; we are dethroned, and Christ is enthroned.
When we are in our spirit, we are dethroned, for the One sitting on the throne is not the self but Christ, the Lamb-God.
In 1 John 3:4, we are told that sin is lawlessness; lawlessness means to live in such a way that we don’t acknowledge or accept God’s rule over man.
Lawlessness means that we’re not under the principle of God ruling over us. This is what sin is. Instead of God being on the throne, in our experience, the self is on the throne. Oh, Lord Jesus!
We need to exercise our spirit to see that God is on the throne. We want Him to be enthroned in our being.
In Revelation 22, we see the sign of the New Jerusalem, and the first thing about it is the throne of God and of the Lamb, out of which flows a river of water of life in the middle of the golden street, and the tree of life grows on both sides.
These are signs, that is, symbols with spiritual significance. Gold signifies the divine nature; when we exercise our spirit, and Christ is on the throne in our being, when the Lamb-God is on the throne in the centre of our being, the divine life is flowing in the divine nature as our street.
Our street, our way, is the divine nature. Many times we are at crossroads in our Christian life and even in our human life; we don’t know which way to go.
The way to go is enthroning the Lord in our being so that there may be a flow of water of life leading us.
The unique way in the New Jerusalem has a river of water of life flowing in the midst of it, and there is the tree of life growing on either side of it.
Today it may be easy for us to be lost if we take the wrong way, but when we follow the flow of life coming out of the enthroned Lamb-God in our being, we will never get lost.
Thank the Lord that we have the heavenly GPS – God’s Presence Satellite – in our being as we follow the flow of life flowing within the divine nature as the unique street in the New Jerusalem.
As we allow the Lord to be on the throne in the centre of our being, we partake of the tree of life with fresh fruits every month. And we will serve Him for eternity, for we see His face, we are infused with Him, and we will serve Him.
We will behold the Lord’s face (2 Cor. 2:10; 3:18), we will be infused with His very person, and we will become even as He is in every possible way.
Then, we will flow Him out, for our flowing out God is our service we render to God. And His name will be on our foreheads.
Our badge, our name tag, is Christ Himself. We belong to Him. We are identified with Him. He is in us, and we are in Him. His name is on our forehead.
We live in the light, for there’s no need of the light of a lamp or of the sun, for the Lord God will shine upon us, and we will reign forever and ever! Amen!
May we enthrone the Lord in our being today so that the Lamb-God would be on the throne within the city!
Lord Jesus, we exercise our spirit today. We love You. We turn to You. We enthrone You in our being. Amen, Jesus Christ is Lord! May we see that Christ is on the throne. May the Lamb-God be on the throne in the centre of our being. Amen, Lord, set up Your throne in the centre of our being. We enthrone You in us. We give You the preeminence in all things. We simply place ourselves under Your headship and lordship. We open to drink the river of water of life flowing out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. Amen, Lord, we drink You as the living water and we eat You as the tree of life as we remain under the throne! Praise the Lord, we are in Christ and Christ is in us! He is our Lord and we are under His lordship! His name is on our foreheads, and we are one with Him to express Him on the earth! Amen, Lord, we praise You as the One on the throne! Jesus Christ is Lord! The Lamb-God is on the throne! Praise the Lord, there’s a river flowing out of the throne of God and of the Lamb into our being and through us to many others! Amen!
Enthrone the Lord in our Being by Subjecting Ourselves under His Lordship to Enjoy the Flow of the Water of Life

The unique item in our Christian experience should be the throne of God and of the Lamb; the throne of the One who has purposed and of the One who has redeemed us should be the unique item in our Christian experience.
This means that we need to accept the God who has purposed and the Christ who redeemed us as our Head, Lord, and authority. We must be willing to subject ourselves to His headship.
When we exercise our spirit and touch the Lord, we immediately touch the throne of God, and we realise that the Lamb-God is on the throne.
He is the One who purposed and planned all things, and He is the One who redeemed us. When we touch the throne, when we realise that God is on the throne in our being.
We will have the throne of God and of the Lamb in the centre of our being in our Christian life. We realise we’re not living here for ourselves; we live for the accomplishment of God’s purpose.
We are here to carry out what Christ has accomplished. We enthrone Him in our being, we give Him the preeminence, and we experience the Lamb-God as the One on the throne in His headship and lordship.
In our daily life, in our marriage life, in our church life, and even in our personal life and our business life, we need to have the throne of God as the centre.
We need to know in experience what it means for Christ to be on the throne.
Yes, Christ is on the throne in the universe, ruling and reigning over all things, arranging all things to carry out His economy, but He also needs to be on the throne in the centre of our being, in our daily life.
Everything should be subjected to HIs headship. When we enthrone Christ in our being, we immediately sense something full of God’s riches flowing within us.
We will sense the flow of life from the throne of God. The flow of the Triune God as life, the life-supply, and as everything is in our being when Christ is on the throne in the centre of our being.
This is how God carries out His economy: by flowing in our being. This means that, in our daily experience, we should experience the flow of the Divine Trinity in us and even out of us.
When we wake up in the morning, we need to enthrone the Lord. We may even tell the Lord,
Lord, thank You for a new day for me to take You as my Lord. I subject myself under Your headship for the whole day. Oh Lord, set up Your throne in my life. Set up Your throne in the centre of my being. Bring my whole day with my daily life under Your throne!
If we pray in this way to the Lord every morning, we sense the flow of water of life within us. When we subject ourselves under the Lord’s authority by faith, exercising our spirit to enthrone Him in our being, we will sense the flow of living water in our being.
It’s not a small thing to have the Triune God flowing in us! He flows in us as the One who has purposed and who redeemed us, and He flows also as the One who is the life-giving Spirit.
The consummation of the Triune God – the Spirit who gives life – flows in us to reach us as living water. We need to have many such conversations with the Lord throughout the day.
He is on the throne in heaven, but in our daily life, He needs to be enthroned in our being.
This world is full of lawlessness, and there’s even a mystery of lawlessness operating among men today, which will consummate in the man of lawlessness, Antichrist.
We look at those around us, we see what they wear, what they do, the things they speak, and the way they speak, and we realise that it is all lawlessness.
But we turn to the Lord in spirit and enthrone Christ in our being. We give Him the preeminence in all things.
We enjoy the river of water of life flowing into the innermost part of our being, and as John 4 tells us, this river flows in and also gushes out, springing up into eternal life (vv. 13-14)! He flows in and flows out! Praise the Lord!
As we do this and that throughout the day, we need to enthrone the Lord. We may go shopping, but we should not throw away the throne or acknowledge there’s a throne in heaven only; we should enthrone the Lord in our being.
We may need to get dressed to go to work, and we should enthrone the Lord in the things we wear, the way we behave, and the things we speak. In all things, whether great or small, we need to enthrone the Lord in our being.
Not only in the meetings or when we read the Bible should the Lord be on the throne, but in all things, in everything related to us, Christ needs to be on the throne. We need to bring this to the Lord again and again, telling Him in all honesty,
Lord Jesus, we enthrone You in our being. We want You to be our Lord. We take You as our Head. We take You as our Husband. Set up Your throne in the midst of our being. We want to enthrone You in all things, whether big or small. Amen, Lord, we give You our daily living with all its daily activities. Set up Your throne in the centre of our being. Keep us coming to You in all things and concerning all things. We want to receive and enjoy the flow of life from the throne of God and of the Lamb. Amen, Lord, we submit under Your lordship in our marriage life, our church life, our business life, and our personal life. We simply enthrone You in our being. Save us from any lawlessness. May Christ be on the throne in all things, and may we be dethroned. Amen, Lord, rule and reign in us. May Your riches flow in our being to fill us, saturate us, and permeate us with Yourself! Bring our whole day with our daily life under Your throne. Jesus Christ is Lord! Praise the Lord!

When we exercise our spirit, we see that Christ is on the throne, and we will enthrone Him in the center of our being.
When He’s on the throne, there is a river of water of life flowing in our being.
Do we have the throne of God in us today? If we would bring our daily life under the throne, then yes the river can flow.
Ameeen!!!
In the New Jerusalem the Lamb-God will be on the throne from whose throne proceeds the river of water of life for our supply and satisfaction. This depicts how the Triune God—God, the Lamb, and the Spirit, who is symbolized by the water of life dispenses Himself into His redeemed under His headship for eternity.
This throne must be the center of our Christian life. In our daily life, in our family life, in our marriage life, in our business life, and in our church life, the center must be God’s throne; everything should be subjected to His headship. In our experience, whenever we subject ourselves to the Triune God, taking Him as our Head, we enjoy a flow within us.
The river flows with the God who purposed, with the Lamb who redeemed, and with the Spirit who is now the all-inclusive, processed, life-giving Spirit. Under His headship we enjoy the flow of life with the supply of life and the way of life; in the flow of life we serve Him, we see Him, and we reign with Him.

Amen. Something I enjoyed from personal reading is that God does not want us to just be perfect in our outward living and to just fear Him, He wants us to be filled with Him to be His expression. May He work Himself into us through all our situations!
Ameen. Lord. As you willingly knocked on the door of our hearts, Lord, enter and be enthroned. We are also willing. Be that centre of our hearts. O Lord.
Rev. 22:1 footnote 5 on the throne of God and of the Lamb, RcV Bible
God and the Lamb are one entity. God, the Lamb and the Spirit— the Triune God — wants to dispense Himself into us. God’s throne must be set up in our body, soul & spirit; the throne should be the very centre of our being.
We adore God as our Lord and we take Him as our authority. We should not live for ourselves. We need to live & exist for the accomplishment of God’s purpose.
In every aspect of our life, the centre must be God’s throne.
Each morning, we should thank God for a new day to take Him as our Lord, not just as our Saviour.
Who is the Lord, Head & authority in our daily life? Is the throne of God in our heart?
