Enjoy the Current of the Divine Trinity within us as our Spiritual Pulse and Supply

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. 2 Cor. 13:14

We believers in Christ can enjoy the current of the Divine Trinity within us as our spiritual purpose and our daily supply.

In 2 Corinthians Christ as the grace of God is the good land for us to enter into, experience, enjoy, partake of, and possess; this book is on the grace of Christ, and our entire church life depends on 2 Cor. 13:14, for the current of the Divine Trinity within us is our spiritual pulse. Hallelujah!

This week we come to the topic of, The Grace of God and the All-inclusive Spirit. In the book of 2 Corinthians, we see the matter of the grace of God in many ways and aspects, and grace is simply the Triune God in Christ as the Spirit for our enjoyment.

We have seen that Christ is the image of God and the treasure; within us, He is the treasure, and outside of us, He is the image of God.

He is working Himself into us little by little and day by day to become our indwelling treasure, and He is transforming us into His image so that we may bear the image of Christ.

May we continue to be unveiled today and day by day so that we may see the grace of God and the all-inclusive Spirit in the book of 2 Corinthians.

The subject of second Corinthians is the grace of God; this book ends with the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit being with us all (2 Cor. 13:14).

Everywhere in this book we see the grace of God, for it is the grace of God that can carry us through our Christian life.

By grace we are what we are, by grace we live, by grace we serve, and everything we are and do are by the grace of God.

His grace is sufficient to us. No matter the suffering and pain, no matter the persecution and trials, the grace of God is sufficient for us.

Second Corinthians may be considered to be the deepest book in the New Testament; in it we see not just Paul dealing with different problems in the book of Corinth but an autobiography of a person in the spirit.

The apostle Paul simply presented his life and living of Christ before the saints so that they may be supplied and nourished by the Christ he experienced.

He didn’t present merely some doctrines or teachings, neither did he just speak some high truths and deeper doctrines; he simply presented his autobiography as a person in the spirit.

Thank the Lord that we see such a pattern before us for us to follow in the Lord as we live the Christian life today. May the Lord enlighten us this week to see the matter of the grace of God and the all-inclusive Spirit.

In 2 Corinthians Christ as the Grace of God is the Good Land for us to Enjoy & Possess

You will make known to me the path of life; / In Your presence is fullness of joy; / At Your right hand there are pleasures forever. Psa. 16:11 There is a river whose streams gladden the city of God, / The holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High. Psa. 46:4In the book of 2 Corinthians Christ as the grace of God is the good land for us to enter into, experience, enjoy, partake of, and possess (John 1:17; 1 Cor. 15:10; cf. Gal. 2:20; 1 Cor. 5:7; 10:3-4; 2 Cor. 13:14).

In Vine’s expository dictionary, the word grace is defined as that which bestows pleasure and delight. Grace is God in Christ coming to us to be our enjoyment and our everything.

This is what is on God’s heart: He wants man to be happy, He wants to make man happy, and He wants to be the life and content of man so that man would enjoy God. God wants to please man, satisfy man, and make man happy.

This doesn’t mean that He will do everything we ask Him to do so that He may make us happy; rather, He makes us happy by giving Himself to us as the grace of God.

He flows into us as a river of water of life, and in His presence is fullness of joy (Psa. 16:11). As we enjoy the Lord and are one with Him, we taste that in His presence is fullness of joy.

In 2 Corinthians, Christ as the grace of God is the good land for us to enter into, experience, enjoy, partake of, and possess.

Before we come to 2 Corinthians, let’s look at 1 Corinthians for a contrast. In 1 Corinthians, we see the Corinthian believers wandering in the wilderness, even as the people of Israel wandered in the wilderness.

They were not in their spirit – they were not spiritual; rather, they were wandering in their soul, they were in their flesh, and they were even fleshly and fleshy.

They definitely got out of the world, being delivered from Egypt, but they did not yet enter into the good land, the all-inclusive Christ as the grace of God for our enjoyment.

In 1 Cor. 5:7 Paul says that Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed for us; this is the experience of Christ in Egypt and then in the wilderness. As the Corinthian believers wandered in the wilderness of their soul, they lived and behaved in their flesh.

In 1 Corinthians we see that a believer can be one of three kinds of men: he can be a spiritual man living in his spirit under the anointing of the Holy Spirit; they can be a soulish man living under the direction of their soul; or they can be a fleshly person, even a fleshy man, living in the flesh and under the influence of the nature of the flesh.

This is the experience of a believer in the wilderness.

When we live in our spirit, when we are governed by the mingled spirit and led by the Spirit, we enter into the enjoyment of the all-inclusive Christ as the grace of God to be everything to us for our enjoyment and experience.

Gal. 3:14 shows us that the blessing of Abraham is the all-inclusive Christ who today is the all-inclusive, life-giving Spirit.

The book of 1 Corinthians was written so that the believers in Corinth may aspire to grow in life so that they may be spiritual men, so that they may be people who live, move, and act in their spirit.

For the law was given through Moses; grace and reality came through Jesus Christ. John 1:17 But by the grace of God I am what I am; and His grace unto me did not turn out to be in vain, but, on the contrary, I labored more abundantly than all of them, yet not I but the grace of God which is with me. 1 Cor. 15:10In the book of 2 Corinthians, by contrast, we see a group of people who did not live in their soul but lived in their spirit; they lived in their mingled spirit.

They lived in the reality of the good land; they were no longer wandering in the wilderness but they enjoyed Christ as the grace of God as the reality of the good land, entering into, experiencing, enjoying, partaking of, and possessing the good land.

Even though 2 Corinthians does not mention the term, the good land, in this book we see an autobiography of a person living in the spirit, a person living by the grace of God in their spirit.

Even when he was in sufferings and trials, he still enjoyed the grace of God, for the Lord told him that His grace is sufficient for him (2 Cor. 12:9).

In 2 Cor. 13:14, the last verse in this book, we see that the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ is mentioned first, for the entire book is on teh grace of Christ (2 Cor. 1:12; 4:15; 6:1; 8:1, 9; 9:8, 14; 12:9).

May we be those who no longer wander in the wildernes sof our soul nor be led by the flesh but live in the spirit and walk by the spirit, enjoying Christ as the grace of God to be everything to us for our enjoyment and experience.

Lord Jesus, we want to enjoy Christ as the grace of God, the reality of the good land for us to enter into, experience, enjoy, partake of, and possess. Hallelujah, Christ as the good land is the grace of God for us to enjoy today! Amen, Lord, we want to grow and reach maturity so that we no longer wander in the wilderness of our soul but live in the mingled spirit. Hallelujah, the Lord’s grace is sufficient for us. We open to You, Lord Jesus. We come to You with all our situations, all our problems, and all our sufferings. We want to enjoy Your sufficient grace today. Cause us to grow in life and be delivered from the self, the flesh, and the natural man. Oh Lord, we look to You and we depend on Your grace. Your grace is sufficient for us. Thank You for flowing into us as the grace of the Lord Jesus bringing us the love of God by means of the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah, Christ as the grace of God is for us to enjoy, partake of, possess, and experience today!

The Current of the Divine Trinity within us is our Spiritual Pulse and Daily Supply

And He has said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness. Most gladly therefore I will rather boast in my weaknesses that the power of Christ might tabernacle over me. 2 Cor. 12:9

2 Corinthians 13:14 is a wonderful verse telling us that the grace of the Lord Jesus and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit is with us all.

As a conclusion to his autobiography as a person in the spirit, Paul blesses us with the Divine Trinity, even the current of the Divine Trinity within us.

What we see in this verse is a circulation, a flow, a current; God the Father as love is the source, God the Son as grace is the course of God’s love, and God the Spirit as the fellowship is the flow of God’s love and the Son’s grace.

And God is able to make all grace abound unto you, that, in everything always having all sufficiency, you may abound unto every good work. 2 Cor. 9:8Christ as the grace of God flows in us with the love of God the Father by means of the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit as the circulation, the transmission of the grace of Christ with the love of the Father is the supply in our Christian life and church life.

God the Father is the source, like a deep well under the ground; out of the love of God the Father comes out Christ the Son as grace to us. And the flow that reaches us is the fellowship of the Holy Spirit as a current flowing out the love of God and the grace of Christ.

The fellowship of the Spirit is the fellowship, the communication, the transmission, the circulation of the grace of Christ with the love of the Father.

Just as we have the circulation of blood in our human body so we have the circulation of the Divine Trinity in our spirit.

Just as our human life depends on the circulation of the blood in our physical body, so our Christian life and church life depend on the circulation of the Divine Trinity, the current of the Divine Trinity, in our spirit.

God didn’t come in us just as life and now that’s it; He is a flowing Triune God, for the Father flows in the Son by the Spirit continually to reach us, saturate us, fill us, and do everything in us and for us.

The entire church life depends on 2 Cor. 13:14; the church life depends on the love of God, the grace of Christ, and the fellowship of the Spirit to flow as the current of the Divine Trinity within our spirit.

Just as the current of electricity in a building is vitally necessary for all the activities and life in that building, so the current of the Divine Trinity in us is vitally necessary for our Christian life and church life with all their activities.

As we speak to others, do some chores around the house, do our work at the office, work in the field, or just relax, we need to remain in the flow of the Triune God. We need to have the inner sensation that the divine current is constantly going on.

If the current within us stops, we have nothing to speak; we need to deal with an insulation or blockage to the divine electricity in our being.

When we speak, we need to speak in the current of the Triune God, the flow of the Divine Trinity, otherwise, our speaking will be empty. When we do things, we need to do things in our spirit so that we may remain in the current of the Divine Trinity.

The current of the Divine Trinity as revealed in 2 Corinthians 13:14 is our spiritual pulse.

What is your pulse like today? Did you take your pulse today? Are you vital and living? Is your pulse vibrant and strong?

And working together with [Him,] we also entreat you not to receive the grace of God in vain. 2 Cor. 6:1 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, for your sakes He became poor in order that you, because of His poverty, might become rich. 2 Cor. 8:9Those who have health problems always need to check their pulse. Whenever we have spiritual health problems, we need to first check our spiritual pulse.

We need to exercise our spirit to enjoy Christ as the grace of God flowing into us with the love of the Father by means of the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit transmits the divine riches into our being; this transmission is the fellowship. The operation of God in us is very quiet, yet it is very vigorous and strong and efficient.

We may be a little tired, but when we turn to the Lord and call on the name of the Lord, we will touch this vigorous and efficient circulation going on in our spirit.

When the electricity goes out in a city, the life of that city with all its activities stops; when the current of the Divine Trinity stops in our being, our Christian life stops. Oh Lord!

May we learn to be in the flow of life today. May we learn to do everything in the current of the Divine Trinity in our Christian life and church life.

May we exercise our spirit to touch the Lord, partake of His riches, and flow Him out in our living and in our speaking.

Lord Jesus, thank You for coming into our spirit as the current of the Divine Trinity, the rich flow of the divine life! Hallelujah, the Triune God has been installed in our being and He is flowing in us as the love of God, the grace of Christ, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit! Amen, Lord, we open to Your living flow within us. We want to maintain the circulation of the Divine Trinity in our being. Hallelujah, the circulation of the Divine Trinity is the supply in our Christian life and church life! We love You, Lord! We want to speak in the flow, listen in the flow, and do all things in the flow of the divine life. May we deal with any insulation or blockages to the divine current in our being. Oh, the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit is with us all, imparting all that the Triune God is and has into our being! Praise the Lord for the fellowship of the Spirit bringing to us the love of God the Father and the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ for our enjoyment and participation!
