We can learn the secret of doing all things in Christ as the empowering One by praying to fellowship with Jesus; we need to tell Him everything in our thorough talk with the Lord, speaking words genuinely from the heart, so that we advance in Him and draw closer to Him.
This is a secret we all must learn in our daily Christian life.
When we open to the Lord and tell Him everything, we cast all our cares and anxieties upon Him, and He keeps our hearts at peace.
The God of peace patrols before our hearts and thoughts in Christ, keeping us calm and tranquil.
We realize that our circumstances and the environment we are in, whether it is pleasant or not so pleasant, everything was assigned to us by God in order to serve us in fulfilling our destiny to gain Christ and magnify Christ.
We can all testify that, when we touch the Lord, when we tell the Lord everything, and when we open to Him concerning our sorrows, worries, and problems, He not only does not condemn or criticize us, but He comforts us and gives us peace.
It is possible for us to have complete peace and rest when we contact the Lord, quiet our being, and focus only on Him.
In Psa. 131:2 the Psalmist has calmed and quieted his soul; our soul, especially our mind, needs to be quieted down.
Many times we have unrestrained thoughts, thoughts of anxiety, or thoughts of doing this or that.
When we come to fellowship with the Lord, it seems that our mind becomes all the more active, thinking about this, worrying about that, and trying to plan this or that.
In returning and rest we will be saved (Isa. 30:15).
May we return to the Lord, calm our being, and contact Him, for in quietness and trust is our strength.
May we be willing to be quieted down inwardly, be silent before the Lord to hear His voice, and learn to speak to Him about everything that bothers us and causes us to feel sad.
We need to give Him all our worries, all our anxious thoughts, all our problems, and all the things that upset us.
We not only tell Him everything, but we also give all these to Him.
As we do this, as we open to the Lord and tell Him everything, we give Him all our problems and sorrows, and He gives more of Himself to us.
We also need to be aware that, when we as believers desire to fellowship with God, Satan will work to inject many thoughts into our minds.
Sometimes the enemy injects thoughts to bother our mind and disturb our being later on.
Whenever we come before God, we shouldn’t immediately pray, read the Bible, or sing hymns.
First, we need to settle our being by opening to Him, calling on His name, and turning our hearts to Him to focus only on Him.
Then, we can have fellowship with Him in spirit, and we can pray to fellowship with Jesus.
In our Time with the Lord, we need to Tell Him Everything: He Listens, Cares, and Comforts
Day by day we need to learn the secret of doing all things in Christ as the empowering One by having a time with the Lord to tell Him everything, for He listens, He cares, and He comforts us.
He is our King, our Lord, our Head, and our Husband, and we can pray to contact God by speaking words genuinely from the heart.
We may be in a situation of sorrow and disappointment, and we may be quite depressed; we should bring all our problems to the Lord and tell Him about them.
The Lord is the best listener; He knows our emotions, He sees our situation, and He sympathizes with our hearts.
The Lord listens, cares, and comforts and helps us.
In the New Testament, we see that the Lord Jesus spoke many things, yet He was also willing to listen.
There are at least two instances in which others came to tell Him something.
In Matt. 14:12 the disciples of John the Baptist buried him and came and told the Lord Jesus, and in Mark 6:30 the apostles told the Lord everything they did and all they taught.
Here we see a sad situation and a happy one; in both cases, they came and told the Lord.
Whether we are happy or sad, we need to tell Him everything. We may be disappointed and even depressed, as Isaiah was, but even in such a situation, we need to tell the Lord everything (Isa. 6:1-8).
We may even tell the Lord, Lord, I feel that You have disappointed me; I feel You let me down. Just tell Him everything.
When we see the situation around us with people calling good as evil and evil as good, dark as light and light to be darkness, we need to tell Him everything.
We need to make our requests be made known to God.
Sorrow, pain, disappointment, sadness, and depression cannot be avoided until the Lord comes; we need to tell Him everything.
We need to approach the Lord and speak to Him genuinely from the heart.
We may think that this is very basic, even elementary, but we need to practice this.
Speak to the Lord genuinely from the heart. If we are angry, tell Him you’re angry; if you’re sad, tell Him you’re sad.
If you are confused, pour out your confusion before the Lord. If you’re in an impossible situation, tell the Lord.
There are a few times in our Christian life when we reach a point when we feel we cannot go on; we just feel there’s no way to go on, it is all too much.
We need to tell Him everything. We may be under much pressure and stress at our jobs or in our family life or the church life; we need to bring all things before the Lord.
How to release the pressure so that it doesn’t accumulate and then explode? Tell the Lord everything. It is this simple.
We can pour out our sorrow, our sin, our sickness, and our joy, success, and happy times before the Lord.
If we fail, we should not think we can’t approach Him; rather, even then and there, we can come to the Lord and tell Him our failure.
May we be genuine, like little children, coming to the Lord as we are and telling Him everything.
May we not pretend before Him and make up long, spiritual prayers; may we just be genuine with Him and tell Him everything.
We should realize that, when we have a thorough talk with the Lord and pour out our heart to Him, our intimacy with the Lord is one step further, and we know Him a little more (Psa. 62:6-8; 56:8; cf. 1 Sam. 1:15).
When we have such intimate contact with the Lord and tell Him everything, we deepen our relationship with Him and we grow in life.
Intimate contact with the Lord at such times is hundreds of times better than our ordinary fellowship with Him, for it is by these contacts that we grow in life.
Tell the Lord everything in simplicity.
On one hand, we need to learn to open to others and tell them about our problems and situations so that we can pray together and thus receive the supply and help.
On the other hand, before we tell anyone anything, we need to tell the Lord all things (Psa. 42:4; Lam. 2:19).
Things may get complicated around us, our relationship with someone may be quite unpleasant, and there is so much stress at work; tell Him everything.
We can flee into Christ and ask Him to do all things with us and for us. We cannot face the situation alone: we need the Lord.
He is our salvation, our strength, and our refuge. We need to trust in Him and pour out our hearts before Him.
May we learn to make our requests known to God and tell Him everything.
We should not think that there are some words we cannot say before God and there are some things we should not talk about before Him; we should simply tell Him everything.
May we learn to practice this in our daily life, being honest with the Lord and speaking to Him genuinely from the heart concerning all things.
Lord Jesus, we come to You as we are. We want to tell You about our sorrow, our pain, and our suffering. We open to You concerning our joy and our happiness. We give You all our situations. You see what is happening to us and what is going on in our being. We just open to You. We bring to You all things. We breathe out our sorrow, our sin, our weakness, and all our problems. We want to tell You about our sorry and about our joy. Keep us open to You. Keep us speaking to You. We want to flee into You and hide in You. You are our refuge. You are our shelter. You are our joy. You are our Lord, our King, our Head, and our Husband. We bring all our problems to You and we tell You about them. Thank You for being the best listener. Go on in us, Lord. We want to learn to be genuine and speak to You from the heart concerning everything. Grow in us. Take us on with You. Advance in our being and bring us into a sweeter and deeper intimacy with God.
Enjoy the Lord’s Comforting and Supplying by Telling Him Everything and Speaking to Him to give us the Living Water
When we hear of the matter of the need to fellowship with the Lord, we may immediately think of sitting down at a desk with a Bible and spending time to read the Bible and pray.
But to fellowship with the Lord includes much more than this.
Real fellowship with God is a flow from us to God and from God to us.
In our fellowship with God, we can tell Him everything.
As we fellowship with Him, telling Him that we can’t make it, confessing our lack, and acknowledging our weaknesses, we flow ourselves out to Him, and He flows His strength and power into us.
Sometimes we feel so much under pressure that we think we will barely make it to the end of the day.
May we be genuine before the Lord and not be afraid to shed tears before Him.
Psa. 56:8 says that the Lord has counted our wanderings and put our tears into His bottle; they are all in His book.
The Lord records every one of our tears in a book and keeps them in His bottle. Wow.
We cannot properly comfort others and serve them with Christ unless we first enjoy the Lord’s comfort by telling Him everything.
Tears before men may not count so much, but tears before God count a lot.
Paul mentioned several times that he labored with tears and wept night and day with the saints in their homes (Acts 20:19, 31, 37-38).
Hannah also wept before the Lord in 1 Sam. 1, and the Lord heard her cry.
If a person has never shed tears before the Lord or has never shared his joy and sorrow with Him, he has never had intimate fellowship with the Lord.
If we never talked with the Lord about private matters, we never had any deep acquaintance with the Lord.
By telling Him everything, we draw closer to the Lord.
We need not only to thank the Lord and praise Him for our success and happy moments; we also need to tell Him our sorrows and problems.
The Lord listens to our speaking, He counts our tears before Him, and He is sympathetic toward us.
We can enjoy the Lord’s comfort and supply by telling Him everything and speaking to Him as the living rock to give us living water.
When we’re happy or sad, we need to tell the Lord.
He is sympathetic to every one of our problems. He is willing to bear all our anxieties, and He is happy to listen to our speaking.
When we have a success or something very good happens to us, we need to tell the Lord about it.
If we don’t tell Him about our successes and happiness, it will be easy for our success to replace the Lord, and we will focus on the things that make us happy instead of focusing on Him.
Some people like to talk to others about their problems, but they don’t talk to the Lord about them.
They may tell someone they trust and feel they can open up to, but sooner or later, people will disappoint us; we should first go to the Lord and we should keep going to Him to tell Him everything.
The more we talk to the Lord and tell Him everything, the more we are drawing closer to Him.
He comforts us, He is sympathetic toward us, and He supplies us.
We may feel that we are hungry and thirsty, and we may honestly tell Him to give us to drink and eat.
He is the living water flowing out of the spiritual rock: we can speak to Him and ask Him to give us to drink (Num. 20:8; 1 Cor. 10:4; Exo. 17:6).
Our Lord is willing to bear our anxieties, listen to our speaking, and take upon Himself all our cares and problems; at the same time, He comforts us and supplies us.
If others listen to our problems, they may never understand; if they hear about our joys, they may not be touched.
When others hear about our problems, they may think our problems are not a big deal, and when they see our success, they may not appreciate it or rejoice with us.
Only the Lord is sympathetic toward us, knowing our inner situation and the condition of our inward being, and only He can understand.
He understands us thoroughly: there is nothing that He does not know.
He will listen to us, no matter how small a thing we bring before Him; it matters to Him concerning us.
The Lord knows what we are going through, and He is always sympathetic; He will never cast us away for doing this or saying that – He will just listen. And He supplies. He comforts.
Lord Jesus, we bring to You our problems and our worries. We give You all our anxieties, worries, and sorrows. We want to ask You about our private matters, for You are willing to listen. Amen, Lord, we love having intimate fellowship with You. We want to have a deep acquaintance with You, drawing closer to You and telling You everything. Thank You, Lord, for caring for us. Thank You for listening to us and being sympathetic. You count all our wanderings and You put our tears into Your bottle. It matters to You concerning us. We want to share our sorrows and our joys with You. We draw close to You. Comfort us. Supply us. Give us to drink the living water. We are thirsty, Lord. We give You all our sorrows and our problems: give us to drink! We need the living water! Oh Lord, give us to drink the living water of life!

we can tell the Lord everything by speaking words genuinely from the heart.
Others are not able to understand our sorrow or joy, but the Lord can comfort us, help us, and be symphatetic with us.
We can open to Him about our losses, our pains, and our sufferings.
May we learn to pray to fellowship with Jesus by telling Him everything so that we have intimate contact with Him and advance in the Lord.

What a friend we have in Jesus. When we draw near to Him, He draws near to us.
We can draw closer to the Lord by telling Him everything.
He is always patient to listen and He sympathises with all our weaknesses.
What a privilege it is to be able to carry everything to God in prayer.
There’s no one so faithful & true as our Jesus. He is our deliverer and our salvation.
Yes, we should cleave ever more to our lovely bridegroom.
For us to learn the secret to do all things in Him who empowers us, is to pray to fellowship with Him – bringing all our anxieties before Him.
Just as the discipes of John brought news of his tragic end, and Jesus’ disciples were excited by the authority they had to heal and cast out demons, so whether we are in a sad or happy situation we need such intimate times with the Lord to tell Him everything.
He is our real refuge, sanctuary and the best listener.
He is willing to listen. 😍

This reminds me of 3 hymns at least:
1. Tell it to Jesus
2. I must tell Jesus
3. There is Someone.
