Christ in His heavenly ministry is the divine High Priest, and He is able to save us completely because He is interceding for us constantly; we simply need to come forward to God through Him in our spirit and we will be saved to the uttermost.
What a precious statement in Heb. 7: He is able to save to the uttermost those who come forward to God through Him, for He always lives to intercede for them. This means that, no matter who you are, as long as you believe into Jesus and come forward to God through Him, you are in the process of being saved to the uttermost.
And this One, Christ, is constituted a High Priest according to the power of an indestructible life, a life which nothing can dissolve or put to death.
The life that constitutes Him a High Priest is an endless life, being the eternal, divine, uncreated life and the resurrection life that has passed through the test of death and Hades.
All human priests have to eventually stop functioning because death comes in, but this One, Christ in His ascension as our High Priest, He ministers before God for us forever, always living to intercede!
He interferes with our business and affairs before God on our behalf so that we may live a life for the fulfillment of God’s purpose. He knows what we need; He knows what’s best for us; He knows that we don’t know what we need, so He comes alongside and intercedes for us as the High Priest, and we simply need to come forward to Him to be saved completely.
Hallelujah, our Christ as the High Priest is interceding for us constantly, and He is able to save us to the uttermost, that is, save us completely!
There are so many by-products of death in our being and in our environment, and there are so many problems, situations, troubles, and sufferings; Christ as our kingly and divine High Priest is interceding for us to save us completely, perfectly, entirely, to the end, and for eternity!
His intercession will work out His salvation in us, and we will be saved to perfection – we will be saved to the extent that we will express Him fully and corporately!
Christ is Able to Save us Completely because He is Interceding for us Constantly
Our Christ as the kingly and divine High Priest is able to save us completely because He is interceding for us; He is our perpetual, constant, and eternal Intercessor (Heb. 7:25-26). He saves us by interceding for us.
We may think that He is saving us by helping us get a good job when we’re out of work, or that we get a good wife, or recover our health; we think that this is the kind of help and salvation we need. But the Lord is interceding for us to be brought on to perfection, to completion!
We may be surprised by what He’s interceding for us. He may even allow sickness to come and remain with us so that our disposition may be dealt with and we may be perfected.
God has appointed Christ to take care of us, and He is now caring for us by interceding for us; He is interceding for us right now, and He will save us to the uttermost. Christ as the High Priest undertakes our case, appearing before God on our behalf, praying that we may be saved and brought fully into God’s eternal purpose.
He knows that it is so easy for us to fall and, once we have fallen, to remain in our fallen state. He knows that we are weak, and even when we think we are strong, we can do nothing apart from Him. So He is interceding for us, and sooner or later His intercession will overcome, subdue, and save us.
Our Christ as the High Priest appears before God on our behalf, praying that we may be wholly saved and brought fully into God’s eternal purpose (Heb. 9:24; Eph. 3:11; 2 Tim. 1:9).
He causes all things to work out for good to those who love God (Rom. 8:28); He has a plan, a will, a purpose, to gain a corporate expression in the universe, and He works out all things for this. Christ prays not only for our welfare or benefit, but He prays that we would be saved into His eternal purpose.
Christ is interceding for us and working in us in so many ways not just to meet our need but according to His purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before the times of the ages. Our Christ is interceding for us constantly, and eventually His intercession will overcome us, subdue us, and save us.
Because of His constant intercession, we will all completely be saved, and His salvation will reach to the uttermost! We should believe that Christ is always interceding for us, and we should come forward to God through Him.
Many things happen to us that we cannot explain or understand; we may not know why things happen, but our High Priest does, and His care for us is always positive. His care for us may not be according to our concept and want, but our High Priest is always good in all that He does for us.
We need to be saved from any unbelief, doubts, or murmurings, and simply believe that Christ is interceding for us and caring for us. He is not changing: He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever, and we should not doubt Him but believe and come forward to Him!
A Christian never gives up; rather, in spite of defeats and failures, he believes that Christ is able to save him to perfection, and he keeps coming forward to Him.
Thank You Lord for being our High Priest who is able to save us completely because You are interceding for us constantly! We open to You, Lord, and we believe that You are interceding for us and caring for us in the best way. We believe that all things work together for good for us who love You; we believe You are saving us completely for us to be in Your eternal purpose. Amen, Lord, we believe that You are always interceding for us and we come forward to God through You! We may not understand many things happening to us right now, but we come forward to God through Christ!
Christ Intercedes for us, and the Reality of this is Transmitted into our Spirit!
Some believers may think that Christ is now in the heavens interceding for us, but there’s no way for us to know what He prays, participate in His prayer, or respond to His intercession. Christ can save us to the uttermost because He is living not only in the heavens but also in us!
On the one hand He is in the heavens, and on the other, He lives in us (Col. 3:1; 1:27; Rom. 8:34, 10). On the one hand He lives in the heavens and He’s interceding for us all the time; on the other hand, He is in our spirit, and we are joined to Him as one (1 Cor. 6:17).
While He is living in the heavens, Christ is transmitting Himself into us (Eph. 1:22-23). All believers in Christ are under Christ’s divine transmission; He is in the heavens, even higher than the heavens, and there’s a divine transmission going on from the heavenly Christ to our spirit today!
In other words, Christ is living in the heavens to intercede for us and take care of our case, but the reality of this is transmitted into our spirit by His Spirit. Praise the Lord for the Spirit with our spirit which makes real to us all that Christ intercedes for us in the heavens!
By means of the divine transmission we can enjoy what He is interceding for in the heavens!
Therefore, we need to keep coming forward with boldness to the throne of grace in our spirit that we may receive mercy and find grace for timely help (Heb. 4:16). Morning and evening, all throughout the day, and day and night, we should come forward to Him to open to Him, receive His dispensing, and enjoy His divine transmission.
We must learn to see the heavenly vision of Christ, our High Priest, who is interceding for us in the heavens and who is constantly transmitting this reality into our spirit; then we will receive mercy and find grace at the throne of grace for timely help.
Many times in our daily life we are being reminded, comforted, strengthened, and even carried on by Him. We may have no strength to go on, but there’s something within and something from above that strengthens us, sustains us, comforts us, and enlightens us.
Without such a support and supply from our High Priest’s intercession, we would long since have been gone.
He is our Helper not from without but from within; help comes from within, from our spirit, where the gates of heaven is.
May the Lord enlighten the eyes of our heart that we may see these heavenly things. May we realize that what happens on earth is a reflection of what happens in the heavens.
Christ is before God, ascended in the heavens, and He is interceding for us; without what He is doing there in His heavenly ministry there cannot be a proper Christian life or church life.
May we humble ourselves and see these heavenly things and learn to enjoy our High Priest; then, we will receive mercy and find grace from the throne of grace.
Our coming forward is our willingness to learn to see, our opening to the Lord in spirit to see the heavenly things, our learning to enjoy the heavenly High Priest; this will cause us to receive mercy and find grace for timely help.
Lord Jesus, we want to learn to see the heavenly vision of Christ interceding for us and transmitting all He is into our spirit. Thank You for saving us to the uttermost day by day because You live in us, in our spirit! Keep us open to Your divine transmission. We are willing to learn to see the heavenly vision, open ourselves to the Lord in spirit to see the heavenly things, and enjoy the heavenly High Priest. Lord Jesus, we love to be under the divine transmission, enjoying the reality of all that our High Priest is interceding for us in the heavens.

- Hymns on this topic:
# And we know that all things work together for good / To those who love God, / Those called according to His purpose. / For who shall separate us from the love of Christ? / In all things we more than conquer through Him who loved us. / Nothing shall separate us from the love of God, / Which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Scripture song)
# He’s pledged to save us to the full, / His life is operating; / He’s doing everything for us / ’Tis all for our perfecting; / Our life’s a failure at its best, / Only His life can stand the test: / His life brings full salvation! / He’s living now to intercede, / Continuing forever; / He undertakes into the age, / His priesthood changes never. (Hymns #1130)
# We’ll drop our former concepts, Lord, / To take this finished way; / Appropriating each bequest, / We’ll praise You more each day. / We’ll heed our High Priest’s inward call— / “Come forward!” to the end— / Until we reach the final goal; / The New Jerusalem! (Hymns #1188)
Amen! We should believe that Christ is always interceding for us. Sooner or later His intercession will overcome, subdue, and save us to the uttermost; because He is living not only in the heavens but also within us. He is transmitting Himself into us. This is the work of our divine High Priest in His heavenly ministry to take care of us. Praise the Lord!
Amen!!
Christ is able to save us because He intercedes for us (Heb. 7:25b). As our High Priest, Christ undertakes our case by interceding for us. He appears before God on our behalf, praying for us that we may be saved and brought fully into God’s eternal purpose. We need to simply rest in His intercession, trust in it, and enjoy it. Be assured that our divine High Priest is continually interceding for us….We have a perpetual, constant, and eternal Intercessor. (The Conclusion of the New Testament, p. 3782, by Witness Lee)
I love this song, which goes along this topic,
There is Someone interceding for you.
He’s in the heavens and He’s praying for you.
There is Someone who stands before the face of God
And knows every one of your needs.
There is Someone.
Just believe.
There is Someone who is living for you.
He is list’ning and responding to you.
He’s preparing, arranging each circumstance
To meet every one of your needs.
There is Someone.
Just believe.
Though you can’t see Him, have faith
That He’s working behind the scenes.
Though the heavens are silent right now,
Be simple to love and believe
In Jesus our high priest.
There is Someone who is strengthening you.
He’s sustaining and He’s bearing you through.
You’re not forgotten.
At this moment you’re in His hands.
He’s ministering what you need.
Love this Someone and believe.
Though you can’t see Him, have faith
That He’s working behind the scenes.
Though the heavens are silent right now,
Be simple to love and believe
In Jesus our high priest.
Thank you sweet Lord Jesus for ALWAYS interceding for us! 🙏🏻
O indeed Jesus Christ is so sweet.
Amen…..
Amen!! Praise the Lord!!
