Let us pray for the saints to learn to turn people from darkness to light and from the authority of Satan to God

July 10, 2021 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

Giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you for a share of the allotted portion of the saints in the light; who delivered us out of the authority of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love. Col. 1:12-13

Dear saints, let us pray that the saints would learn to preach the gospel as the apostle Paul did, turning people from darkness to light and from the authority of Satan to God that they might be transferred into the kingdom of God (Acts 26:18; Col. 1:12-13). Since warfare exists between the kingdoms of God […]

Let us pray for the binding of the blinding work of the god of this age

July 9, 2021 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled in those who are perishing, in whom the god of this age has blinded the thoughts of the unbelievers that the illumination of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine on them. For we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your slaves for Jesus’ sake. Because the God who said, Out of darkness light shall shine, is the One who shined in our hearts to illuminate the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Cor. 4:3-6

Dear saints, let us pray that the saints would learn to pray for the binding of the blinding work of the god of this age so that the gospel of the glory of Christ might shine into the hearts of many unbelievers (2 Cor. 4:3-6 and notes 3-1, 4-1, and 4-4). Thirty years ago Brother […]

Deny the self and Apply the Killing Power of the Cross to our Natural Disposition under the Lord’s Shining

July 9, 2021 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels that the excellency of the power may be of God and not out of us. 2 Cor. 4:7

The Spirit is operating in us and around us to deal with our outer man, our self, our natural disposition, by the killing element of the cross in the compound Spirit, by the discipline of the Holy Spirit, by the shining of Christ as the Spirit, and by the church life, fruit-bearing, and lamb-feeding. May […]

Let us pray for the saints to learn to exercise the Lord’s authority to bind the strong man, Satan

July 8, 2021 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

And amazement came upon all, and they spoke to one another, saying, What is this word? For with authority and power He orders the unclean spirits, and they come out. Luke 4:36

Dear saints, let us pray that the saints would learn to exercise the authority of the headship and lordship of Christ, the Head, in praying to bind the strong man and in preaching the gospel to plunder sinners out of the kingdom of Satan into the kingdom of God (Luke 4:36; 9:1-2; Matt. 28:18-19). Christ […]

When the Lord breaks our outer man with our Natural Disposition, our Spirit will Flow

July 8, 2021 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

For we are the circumcision, the ones who serve by the Spirit of God and boast in Christ Jesus and have no confidence in the flesh. Phil. 3:3

May the Lord have mercy on us and have a way to break our outer man with our natural disposition so that we no longer live according to it but rather, our spirit will flow out to minister life to others; with man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. The more […]

Let us pray for the saints to see that the way to bind the strong man is through prayer and fasting

And when they came to the crowd, a man came to Him, falling on his knees before Him and saying, Lord, have mercy on my son, for he has epilepsy and suffers terribly; for often he falls into the fire and often into the water. And I brought him to Your disciples, and they were not able to heal him. And Jesus answered and said, O unbelieving and perverted generation! How long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me. And Jesus rebuked it, and the demon came out from him, and the boy was healed from that hour. Then the disciples, coming to Jesus privately, said, Why were we not able to cast it out? And He said to them, Because of your little faith; for truly I say to you, If you have faith like a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, Move from here to there, and it will move, and nothing will be impossible to you. But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting. Matt. 17:14-21

Dear saints, let us pray that the saints would see that the way to bind the strong man for the plundering of sinners out of his house is mainly by prayer and fasting (Matt. 17:14-21). The way to bind the strong man is to pray. When we come to [Matthew] seventeen, we shall see that […]

Let us pray for the saints to see the Lord Jesus’ work of freeing man from Satan’s usurpation

July 7, 2021 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

But if I, by the Spirit of God, cast out the demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. Matt. 12:28

Dear saints, let us pray that the saints would see that the Lord Jesus in His gospel service frees human beings from Satan’s usurpation by the Spirit of God for the kingdom of God (Matt. 12:28 and note 28-1; Luke 11:20; Mark 1:23-25). The fallen angels work with Satan in the air (Eph. 2:2; 6:11-12), […]
