The Bible is a Book of Building, and we need to Let Christ Build Himself into us

October 9, 2017 by aGodMan 10 Comments

2 Sam. 7:12-14 When your days are fulfilled and you sleep with your fathers, I will raise up your seed after you, which will come forth from your body, and I will establish his kingdom. It is he who will build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. I will be his Father, and he will be My son...

After God showed the vision of His holy building to Ezekiel, He measured His people by His building, by all the details and features; the entire Bible is a book on building, and for us to build the church we need to let Christ build Himself into us first. It is a life-changing experience to […]

We Experience the Cross as the Center of God’s Building to be Built into the Church

Gal. 6:14 But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom the world has been crucified to me and I to the world.

Although we as believers in Christ meet the cross everywhere in our Christian life, we experience the cross in a particular way when we come to the altar at the centre of God’s building, and here the cross becomes our center. The center of the building of the temple of God revealed in a vision […]

The Cross Leads us to the Body and the Cross Operates in the Sphere of the Body

1 Cor. 12:27 Now you are the Body of Christ, and members individually.

The cross and the experience of the cross is not an end in itself; the cross leads us to the Body of Christ, the cross operates in the sphere of the Body, and in the Body of Christ we cannot go on without the cross. The cross of Christ and the experience of the cross […]

Seeing the Effect of Christ’s Crucifixion and Experiencing its Life-Releasing Aspect

October 5, 2017 by aGodMan 8 Comments

Matt. 27:51-53 v. 51 And behold, the veil of the temple was split in two from top to bottom, and the earth was shaken and the rocks were split, v. 52 And the tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised. v. 53 And they came out of the tombs after His resurrection and entered into the holy city and appeared to many.

The crucifixion of Christ is an amazing event and reality; the effect of Christ’s crucifixion is excellent, and the life-releasing aspect of His crucifixion is truly amazing. Human death is sad, sorrowful, terrible, dreaded, and even horrible, but the Bible speaks of the death of Christ and we emphasize His death as being something wonderful. […]

Seeing that the Cross is the Center of the Universe and the Principle of the Cross

October 2, 2017 by aGodMan 17 Comments

Other than Christ Himself, nothing in God’s plan has a higher place than the cross. Christ and the cross are at the center of God’s plan. Christ is the center of God’s purpose, and the cross is the center of God’s procedure. Christ is the purpose of God’s plan, and the cross is the procedure of God’s plan. Everything in God’s plan takes Christ as its purpose and is carried out for Christ, and everything in God’s plan takes the cross as its procedure and is carried out through the cross. Hence, Christ is the center of God’s purpose in His plan, and the cross is the center of the procedure in God’s plan. God has determined to do everything in His plan in Christ, and God has determined to do everything in His plan through the cross. Without Christ, God’s plan has no purpose, and without the cross, God’s plan has no procedure. Witness Lee, Christ and the Cross, ch. 11

One of the major pieces of furniture in the temple seen by Ezekiel in a vision was the altar, which typifies the cross; the cross is the center of the universe, and the principle of the cross is termination, death. As those who love the Lord and pursue Him, we all know how crucial the […]

We need to Experience the Spirit of Jesus to have the Humanity of Jesus for God’s building

Eph. 4:2-3 With all lowliness and meekness, with long-suffering, bearing one another in love, Being diligent to keep the oneness of the Spirit in the uniting bond of peace.

The key for us to experience the humanity of Jesus for God’s building, that is, the secret for us to be Jesusly human for God to gain a corporate expression, is for us to experience the Spirit of Jesus. What God is after in this universe is a building, a corporate expression in humanity, and […]

Ezekiel is a Book full of Humanity, showing how much God desires to have a Man!

September 25, 2017 by aGodMan 8 Comments

Ezek. 1:26, 28 And above the expanse that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, like the appearance of a sapphire stone; and upon the likeness of the throne was One in appearance like a man, above it....Like the appearance of the rainbow that is in the cloud on a day of rain, such was the appearance of the brightness all around. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of Jehovah...

The expression “son of man” is mentioned more than ninety times in Ezekiel, and the main material of God’s building seen by Ezekiel was wood; this week we want to see more concerning the son of man and the humanity of Jesus for God’s building. We have previously seen the matter of the Man on […]
