In the Divine Light in Church Meetings we Clearly see God’s Administration and His Move

Psa. 73:16-17 When I considered this in order to understand it, it was a troublesome task in my sight, until I went into the sanctuary of God; then I perceived their end.

The seven lamps of the golden lampstand are the seven Spirits before God’s throne, the seven lamps of fire burning before God’s throne, showing us that the seven lamps are related to God’s move and administration.

We have seen our need to light the lamps in the Holy Place, which is related to our being filled with Christ, saturated with the Spirit, enjoying the humanity of Jesus, and having the living spoken word of the Lord so that we may function in the meetings and light the lamps.

As believers in Christ we are priests to God, and it is our responsibility as priests to light the lamps in the Holy Place, that is, to cause light to ascend.

This light is not a man-made light or a natural light but the light that comes from God, the light that comes from the divine nature of Christ and from His humanity mingled with the Spirit of Christ.

For us to experience the genuine lighting of the lamps in the church meetings, therefore, we must have Christ, the embodiment of the Triune God, as the lampstand, the divine nature as the gold, the uplifted humanity of Christ as the wick, and the Spirit of Christ as the oil with all the steps of Christ’s process, and we must be holy people as the priests, clothed with the expression of Christ as the priestly garments.

This speaks not of an outward practice or routine but of our daily life with our daily living; we can’t fake this – we need to be this.

When we come to the meeting, we simply exhibit what we have been enjoying, what we have done, what we are, and where we are in relation to Christ.

We need to day by day handle Christ in all these aspects, enjoy Him and experience Him, and Christ needs to be real in our experience for the church life, for light to ascend in the church.

When we are such ones having such an experience, we will spontaneously cause light to ascend in the meeting, and being joined with other priests, we will fight for God’s interest.

Today we want to see how causing light to ascend in the meeting and having the divine light is related to the seven Spirits of God, and these are for God’s move, His administration, and His throne.

May the Lord unveil us and cause light to shine in us and through us so that we may be one with Him and let the sevenfold intensified Spirit operate in us and bring us fully under God’s throne, and through us He would have a way to rule in the universe for His administration and move on earth.

Under the Divine Light in the Meetings of the Church we see God’s Economy and His Move

The seven lamps of the golden lampstand are the seven Spirits before God’s throne, the seven lamps of fire burning before God’s throne - Rev. 1:4; 4:5. In the universe God has a center of administration, which is His throne. God is administering and moving from His throne to execute His eternal policy. The seven lamps of fire burning before God’s throne signifies that the seven lamps are absolutely related to God’s administration, economy, and move. Crystallisation-Study of Numbers (1), outline 9In Rev. 1:4 and 4:5 we see that the seven lamps of the golden lampstand are the seven Spirits before God’s throne, the seven lamps of fire burning before God’s throne.

In this universe God has a center of administration, which is His throne. It is from this throne that God is administering the universe and He is moving to execute His eternal policy.

The seven lamps of fire burning before God’s throne signifies that the seven lamps are absolutely related to God’s administration, economy, and move.

The seven Spirits as the seven lamps of fire before the throne of God are not just for us to be living but for God to execute His administration in the universe and on this earth, including the execution of His economy in this age.

Therefore, for us to know God’s administration and economy we must have the light of the golden lampstand from the seven shining and illuminating lamps.

Sometimes we may look at the situation around us, especially in society today, and we may think that God is not in control but rather, the enemy does many things to hinder God’s move.

However, if we have the divine revelation and exercise our spirit to cause light to ascend, we will realise that the seven Spirits are constantly moving on earth to execute God’s economy and administration, and when we cause light to ascend, God can move and administrate in the universe.

Natural light cannot help us to know God’s economy, administration, and eternal purpose; only the divine light can give us a true knowledge concerning God’s purpose.

We need to ask for this light, the divine light, to shine and make known to us His economy.

Once we enter into the realm of the church, we are enlightened to know God’s eternal purpose; once we are in the shining light in the church, we know the desire of God’s intention, His economy, and also the path which we should take for the journey before us toward God’s goal.

Many times we don’t know where we are, what is our situation, and what is going on; many times we have questions, and we do not understand what is really happening, but as soon as we step into a meeting, even while the saints sing, we get the divine light.

We may not even ask for the divine light or the answer from God, but as soon as we put ourselves under the shining of the divine light in the church, we become clear. It is in God’s sanctuary – in our spirit and in the church – that we receive divine revelation and obtain the explanation to all our problems.

In Psa. 73:16-17 how the psalmist was puzzled by the situation he was in, for he was suffering while being righteous, and the evil men were thriving while doing evil things.

As long as we come into the realm of the church, all we have to do is sit in the meetings, and meeting after meeting we will become clear inwardly. We will receive a thorough understanding of human life, and we will become completely clear about God’s will. We will be crystal clear about God’s economy, and we will know the age that we are in today. This is due to the light in the Holy Place....This is because in the Holy Place is the throne, the One who sits on the throne, and the presence of God, and before the throne of God is the shining of the seven burning lamps of fire. Once we enter into this realm, immediately we are clear. We know God’s eternal purpose, His heart’s intention, and His economy, and we also know which path we should take for the journey before us. This is due to the light in the Holy Place. Witness Lee, The Ultimate Significance of the Golden Lampstand, ch. 4

The more he tried to understand this, the more it was unclear to him, for it didn’t make sense to him and it caused him to become befuddled. Eventually his entered into the sanctuary of God, and then he perceived their end.

When he entered into the sanctuary, the Holy Place, he understood.

This is our situation also – when we enter into the church, when we get ourselves to the meetings of the church, we understand. Very often we face problems and are faced with perplexing things, but once we get into the sanctuary of God, we immediately understand.

Why is this? It is because in the Holy Place there’s the shining of the seven lamps, which are the seven Spirits of God for the carrying out of God’s administration and move on earth.

When we enter the realm of the church, we become clear inwardly; when we sit in the meeting and open to the Lord a little, things become crystal clear to us.

Under the divine light in the church meetings we are clear about God’s will; we are crystal clear concerning God’s economy, and we know the age that we are in today.

This is because we have the divine light shining on us from the seven lamps of the golden lampstand, and in the light we see all things.

When we exercise our spirit and are in the meetings of the church, we know God’s eternal purpose, His heart’s intention, and His economy, and we also know which path we should take for the journey before us.

Lord Jesus, we come to You with all our questions, wanderings, and perplexing things; we want to be under Your light in the sanctuary of God. Amen, Lord, we give ourselves to You to be in the mingled spirit and in the meetings of the church so that we may be clear concerning Your purpose, Your move, Your economy, and Your heart’s intention. Only in Your divine light in the sanctuary of God can we see God’s economy, His heart’s intention, and only here do we know which path we should take for the journey before us toward God’s goal!

Seeing that the Seven Burning Lamps of Fire are for the Move of God’s Administration

Rev. 4:5 And out of the throne come forth lightnings and voices and thunders. And there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. Christ carries out His mission as the Ruler of the kings of the earth by the seven burning Spirits before the throne to Sovereignly control the world situation so that the environment might be fit for God’s chosen people to receive His salvation. The flame of the seven burning Spirits judges, purifies, and refines the church to produce the golden lampstands. The burning of the fiery lamps is not only for shining and burning but also for motivating us to rise up and take action for the carrying out of God’s economy - Dan. 11:32b. Crystallisation-Study of Numbers (1), outline 9According to Rev. 4, the emphasis with the seven burning lamps of fire is not on enlightening the people of God but on the move of God’s administration.

In this chapter we see how Christ carries out His mission as the Ruler of the kings of the earth by the seven burning Spirits before the throne to sovereignly control the whole world situation for the environment to be fit for God’s chosen people to receive His salvation (see Acts 5:31; 17:26-27; John 17:2; 2 Chron. 16:9).

God has a work to preach the gospel to release the truth, and to gain His chosen people and save man; this is part of the move of God’s administration, and for this there’s the need for the Seven Spirits as the eyes of Jehovah to run to and fro and accomplish this.

How does this relate to us? The church plays a big role in this, for we as believers are lighting the lamps so that God’s administration would be carried out through the church.

On one hand, the flame of the seven burning Spirits judges the church, purifies the church, and refines the church to produce the golden lampstands.

On the other hand, the burning of these fiery lamps motivate us to rise up and take action for the carrying out of God’s economy (Dan. 11:32).

God has an economy, a move, and an administration; however, we are many times apart from God, living and moving in darkness, and the whole world lies in darkness.

Even in the meetings of the church, when we focus on ourselves, our needs, our situation, and our things, many times we remain in darkness.

But when we exercise our spirit to be in the sanctuary of God and cause light to ascend, the divine light will bring us to clearly see God’s purpose, His economy, and His administration.

Under the shining of the divine light we join ourselves with God in His economy and pray one spirit with Him for the carrying out of His administration.

Christ shines, His divine light refines, burns, and judges anything of the natural man in us, and then we are motivated to stand one spirit with the Lord on earth for His move, His economy.

When we exercise to light the lamps in the Holy Place so that the divine light would shine, we will rise up, fight one with the Lord, and journey with God. We need to cause light to ascend – not just a little light, but fiery lamps with a blazing light! May there be a blazing light in the Lord’s recovery today!

May we see how Christ arranges all things in the world situation and how He arranges the environment for God’s chosen people to receive His salvation, and may we be motivated to rise up and take action for the carrying out of God’s economy!

Lord Jesus, we want to rise up and exercise our spirit to be in the sanctuary of God and cause the divine light to shine! Amen, Lord, may there be a blazing light in all the local churches in the Lord’s recovery today! May we allow the flame of the seven burning Spirits to judge, purify, and refine the church to produce the golden lampstands. Amen, Lord, may this burning of the fiery lamps motivate us to rise up and take action for the carrying out of God’s economy! Amen, Lord Jesus, may the divine light shine, and may we be one with You for the carrying out of Your economy on earth!
