Believers are God-men, Born of God, having the Right to Participate in God’s Divinity

The Spirit Himself witnesses with our spirit that we are children of God. Rom. 8:16

As believers in Christ, we are God-men, and we have the divine right to participate in God’s divinity, that is, participate in God, for we are children of God having the life and nature of God. Wow, Hallelujah!

This week in our morning revival we are enjoying the matter of, The God-men’s Divine Right to Participate in God’s Divinity. This is amazing!

We need to see that we have the divine right to participate in what God is, for we are children of God, those born of God with His life and nature.

This is an unfathomable matter. It is staggering and stupendous to have the realization that we, human beings who were regenerated with God’s life and have God’s nature, can participate in God’s divinity to enjoy all the riches of His being.

We were created by God in His image and according to His likeness, but we became fallen, and we have the evil life and nature of Satan in our flesh.

But praise the Lord, we can repent and believe into the Lord, and we can receive the life and nature of God to become children of God.

By believing into Christ, we become children of God, members of God’s household, and citizens of the kingdom of God.

If you are born in the United States, you have certain basic rights, unalienable rights, according to the constitution governing that country.

We were born in a better country with higher and better rights.

We were created in the image and likeness of God, and God made sure man was in the best place so that he could choose God and enjoy God.

However, God, who is great, never forced or coerced man to choose the tree of life; He gave man the free choice.

So man was deceived by the enemy, and he became fallen.

He chose to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

We may think that God could have just made man to just take in God as life and forget about Satan, but God is too great; He is so great and magnanimous that He gives man freedom of choice.

After man fell, he continued to fall until the fall was to the uttermost. But God did not give up on man; rather, He became a man to partake of man’s nature and life, and He lived a perfect human life on earth.

While He was on earth, He told those who were opposing Him that they were sons of their father, the devil.

Satan came in to sabotage God’s plan and frustrate Him from carrying out His purpose, and we as sons of the devil cooperate with him for this.

But praise the Lord, Christ came and died for us, and by believing into Him, we are regenerated and are given the authority to become children of God. Hallelujah!

By repenting and believing into the Lord Jesus, we come back to our Father’s house, He embraces and gives us Christ as the robe of righteousness and feeds us with Christ as the fattened calf. Hallelujah!

God wants to gain sons, a reproduction of Himself, and all those who believe into Him willingly, are given the authority to be children of God, those who are born of God (John 1:12-13).

This is what we are today. And we have the right to participate in God’s divinity!

We become a God-man by being Born of the Spirit in our spirit with God’s Life and Nature

That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. John 3:6We believers in Christ are mysterious and wonderful persons, not because of what we are by our human nature but because of what we are by our rebirth, our being born of God.

Nicodemus, one of the teachers and leaders in Israel, went to the Lord Jesus to get some teachings to better himself, and the Lord’s word to him was, You must be born again.

It is incomprehensible for the human mind that man could be born again, for he can’t get back into his mother’s womb to be born again.

However, that which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit (John 3:6).

We are born of the flesh, that is, we are born of our human parents, and we have their life and nature.

Everything that is born of a human being is human, sharing in the life, nature, rights, and responsibilities of the human beings.

However, we can be born again.

The highest life is the divine life, and God created us in His image so that we may have His life.

Even though we fell, even though we are born in sin, when the gospel reaches us, we can simply repent and believe into the Lord.

When we see how wonderful, loving, and self-sacrificing the Lord Jesus is, and when we realize that He died for us, for each one of us, we react to this in love and repent, confess that we are sinners, and believe into Him.

In this way, we open our being to Him and receive Him as life and as our Savior.

When we repent and believe into the Lord, we are born of the Spirit in our spirit to have God’s life and nature (2 Pet. 1:4).

We do not realize this when we are born again, but by believing into the Lord, another life came in, and we entered into another species – we become God-men, men born of God, men having God’s life and nature.

We are not only one with God (1 Cor. 6:17); even more, we are organically born of God in our spirit to be God-men.

This is truly mysterious yet so real.

All believers in Christ can testify that, by believing into the Lord Jesus, we received the life of God into us, and now we have another Person living in us – Jesus Christ as the Spirit is in our spirit, and in our spirit we are a new man, a new spiritual being, part of God’s new creation in resurrection.

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the authority to become children of God, to those who believe into His name, who were begotten not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:12-13We actually were created for this; Gen. 1:26 clearly says that God created us not in man’s image and likeness but in the image and likeness of God.

We look like God and our inner being reflects God’s attributes; however, we need to receive the life of God so that we may be the God-men that He desires to have.

Christ was the first God-man; He was God incarnated to be a man, and He lived a God-man life, living a human life by the divine life.

We were born of the flesh to be flesh, and whether we realize this or not, by being men, we are in sin, born of our father, the devil, for all men are fallen.

Similarly, when we believe into the Lord Jesus, we are born of the Spirit in our spirit to have God’s life and nature.

This is something that becomes more real and more clear to us as we go on with the Lord and read the Bible, pray, fellowship with the Lord and fellowship with the saints.

Day by day, as we contact the Lord and fellowship with Him and with the saints, it is becoming more and more real that we are not just men but God-men, men with God’s life in them, and we can participate in God’s divinity. Praise the Lord!

John 1:12-13 emphatically says that all those who believe into the Lord, that is, they receive Him, they are given the authority to become children of God.

And they are born not of the will of man or the will of the flesh but of God – we are born of God!

Lord Jesus, we believe into You. You are our Savior and our life. We believe that You came as God becoming a man, and we believe that You died for our sins on the cross. We repent and believe into You. Hallelujah, we are born of God by believing into Jesus Christ! Praise the Lord, that which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit! Thank You, Lord Jesus, for regenerating us with the divine life in our spirit so that we may be children of God, those who are born of God! Wow, we human beings are born of God to be God-men, having God’s life and God’s nature! Praise the Lord, we are born of the pneumatic Christ in our spirit with His divine life and nature! Amen, Lord, as children of God we want to exercise our divine right to participate in God’s divinity!

As God-men, those Born of God, we have the Right to Participate in God’s Divinity

Behold what manner of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and we are. Because of this the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 1 John 3:1

The Bible reveals that we, the believers in Christ, are children of God, God-men; therefore, we have the divine right to participate in God’s divinity.

To participate means not only to partake of but even more, to partake of for our enjoyment.

As God-men, we have the divine right to participate in God’s divinity, that is, to enjoy and partake for the enjoyment of what God is in His divinity. Wow!

We possess God’s life and nature, and we have the right to participate in God is and even to become God in life, nature, and expression but not in the Godhead (John 1:12-13; Rom. 8:16; 1 John 3:1).

However, we need to exercise our divine right to participate in God’s divinity.

That everyone who believes into Him may have eternal life. John 3:15 Through which He has granted to us precious and exceedingly great promises that through these you might become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption which is in the world by lust. 2 Pet. 1:4In the human realm, a child has no idea that he is a human being; only as he grows, develops, and learns, does he realize what it means to be a human being, what are his rights, and what he as a man can do.

Similarly, as believers in Christ, we need to grow in life and come to the full realization of our divine rights.

Originally, we were merely created men, and we became fallen sinners; by our human birth of our parents, we were not sons of God.

But by believing into the Lord, we became children of God, and we were given the authority to become children of God.

Outwardly we are of different races and nationalities, but by God’s mercy, we have all become the same: we are all God-men!

We are God-men, those who are born of God.

We are not children of God by being “adopted by God to be His sons”; we are born of God with His life and nature in our spirit to be bona-fide children of God.

As sons of God, we are the same as the One of whom we’re born, and we have the divine right to participate in God’s divinity.

Just as we are children of our human parents and we partake of the human life and nature, having the human right to participate in what a human being is, so spiritually speaking, we are God-men born of God, and we have the divine right to participate in God’s divinity.

We need to know our rights.

Not only when we’re down but all the time, we need to know our rights.

We were born of God through regeneration, and we are daily enjoying what God is; we partake of His life and nature, participating in God’s divinity.

A God-man is born not of blood (the physical life) nor of the will of the flesh (the will of the fallen man after man became flesh), nor of the will of man (created by God), but of God!

God is the source of life and the fountain of life (John 1:13), and we are partaking of what God is.

Humanly speaking, many of us love to remember our birthday and celebrate it; however, it is more important for us to know that we are born of God and remember that we have the right to participate in God’s divinity, for this is our unalienable right that lasts for eternity!

We should not forget that we are children of God, those born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God!

We today have God as our Father, and we have the right to participate in God’s divinity.

We human beings were created by God for this purpose. Man was created in God’s image and according to His likeness (Gen. 1:26). We were created not in man’s image and according to man’s likeness but in God’s image and according to God’s likeness. Thus, human beings have the image and likeness of God. However, at the time of creation, man did not have God’s life. But now as God-men, those who have been born of God to be children of God, we have the right to participate in what God is and even to become God in life, in nature, and in expression but not in the Godhead. Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1994-1997, vol. 4, “Incarnation, Inclusion, and Intensification,” p. 214As those born of God to be children of God, we have the right to participate in what God is.

We have the full right to become God in life, in nature, and in expression but not in the Godhead.

Just as our children can never partake of our parenthood – they will always be our children, partaking of the human life and nature they received from us, so we as God-men can never participate in the Godhead, but we have the full right to enjoy, partake of, and possess God’s divinity for our enjoyment and experience day by day! Hallelujah!

May we remember and never forget that we are born of God to be children of God, and may we realize that we have the right to participate in what God is.

May we even ask the Lord to remind us to enjoy Him, partake of Him, and experience Him, for this is our right. God gave us this right.

We need to exercise our divine right to partake of God’s divinity.

If we do not exercise our divine right, we will miss much.

But if we daily exercise our spirit to contact the Lord and enjoy Him, we exercise our divine right to participate in God’s divinity in our daily life.

And the consummation of such a process of partaking of God’s divinity is that, when we see the Lord, we will become even as He is, for we will see Him and be fully transfigured into His image! Hallelujah!

Lord Jesus, cause us to realize that we are children of God! Hallelujah, we have been born of God with His life and nature to be God-men! Amen, Lord, we want to exercise our divine right to participate in God’s divinity, for it is our right to do so as children of God! Hallelujah, we believers in Christ have the right to participate in what God is and even to become God in life, nature, and expression but not in the Godhead! Amen, Lord, cause us to realize what we are and what is our right by being born of God. May we not neglect our divine right to partake of the riches of God’s nature and being. May we never forget that we are children of God, those who are born of God to have the right to partake of God’s divinity! Hallelujah, God is the source of our life and the fountain of life to us! Amen, Lord, we exercise our right to partake of what You are so that we may be made the same as You are in every possible way!

The way the God-man is born of God [is] through regeneration, the first item of the organic salvation of Christ…[A God-man is] born not of blood (the physical life), nor of the will of the flesh (the will of fallen man after man became flesh), nor of the will of man (the will of the man created by God), but of God, who is the source of life and the fountain of life (John 1:13). God is the source of life. He is also the fountain of life that flows. Not many Christians have paid full attention to regeneration as they should. Our being born of our parents was our first birth…We should not pay attention to our first birth. We should remember only one birth—our regeneration. Day by day we should not forget that we are children of God, born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. Today we believers in Christ know who our Father is. We respect our second birth, the birth in which we were born of the very God…[As] the children of God, [we] are God-men born of God.

Dear brother, please remember that You are a Child of God, a God-man!

Never forget, brother, that you are a God-man, one who is born of God who has the divine right to participate in God’s divinity!

Wow, we have the right to participate in what God is and even to become God in life, nature, and expression but not in the Godhead!

Lord Jesus, today we exercise our spirit to partake of what You are! We come to You to enjoy the riches of Your being! Amen, Lord, may we always remember that we are God-men, men born of God, and it is our right to enjoy God!

Now we need to see something even higher: that, as God-men, we have the divine right to participate in the divinity of God.

The phrase participate in means not only to participate but to participate to enjoy. It indicates that we possess something and that we enjoy what we possess…

We must all realize that we can participate in the divinity of God, that is, participate in God.

Aleluya! It is the greatest truth in all the land

As those born of God, it’s our divine right to participate in God’s divinity.

May the Lord save us from selling our birthright as Esau did.

Day by day, we should pay full attention to the fact that we are born of God and should therefore be eating & drinking Him all the time.

May we be today’s Jacob, those who will wrestle with God and cleave to Him so that we might live in His presence.

O Lord! Gain Your overcomers, those will cooperate with You in turning the age… Amen.

May the Lord grant us the proper aggressiveness to lay hold of our birthright

As those who received the Lord, having believed into His name, being born of the Spirit, we become children of God to participate – to possess and enjoy – God’s divinity.

How marvellous that we God-men have the divine right to be God in life, nature and expression but not in the Godhead, to be joined as one with Him, to partake of His divine nature. Hallelujah!

The first Spirit mentioned here is the divine Spirit, the Holy Spirit of God, and the second spirit is the human spirit, the regenerated spirit of man. Regeneration is accomplished in the human spirit by the Holy Spirit of God with God’s life, the uncreated eternal life. Thus, to be regenerated is to have the divine, eternal life (in addition to the human, natural life) as the new source and new element of a new person. John 3:6, footnote 2 on, “born of the Spirit is spirit”, Recovery Version Bible

Ameen!!!

Just as we have human rights by being born as human so also we have divine rights by being born divine, born of God.

Praise the Lord we have the right to participate, that is, to partake and enjoy in God’s divinity which is the unsearchable riches of what God is.

Through our regeneration, not adoption, that we became children of God. God is our real Father and we are His genuine children.

Just as we love and honour our parents, we also love God, honor Him, and respect our second birth.

Lord thank You. Remind us again and again that we are not common. We are holy and divine. May we live according to this reality. May we not bring shame to Your name.

Lord Jesus may we keep experiencing and enjoying You. You are the first God man. You are our big Brother, the One who exercised the right to enjoy God.

Lord we love You.🙏🙏🙏

Amen, we are God-men born of God not adopted, not of blood, nor the will of the flesh, more the will of man, but of God.

Since we are born of God, we are the same as Him in life and nature. We are the children of God.
