Being Open to the Shining of the Sevenfold Intensified Spirit with Our Spirit

The one who experiences the greatest amount of transformation is the one who is fully open to the Lord.In our study of the golden lampstand we need to pay special attention to the seven lamps (see Zech. 4:2; Rev. 4:5). These seven lamps are the seven Spirits of God (the sevenfold intensified Spirit) as the eyes of Jehovah (see Zech. 4:10), the seven eyes of the Lamb (Rev. 5:6), and the seven eyes of the stone (Zech. 3:9) – for God’s full expression.

Today the Spirit has been intensified sevenfold and is with our spirit as the bright shining lamp in our lamp to shine in every part of our inner being and expose us, judge us, search us, purify us, purge us, and infuse us with all that God is into our being for God’s building.

On the one hand these seven lamps of the lampstand are the seven eyes of the Lamb for finding us out in the darkness and deadness of the world and redeem us, save us, and regenerate us. On the other hand, the seven lamps of the lampstand are the seven eyes of the stone to infuse and transfuse the stone element of God into our being to make us fit for God’s building.

Through His judicial redemption (Christ as the Lamb with seven eyes) and His organic salvation (Christ as the Stone with seven eyes) God is operating as the sevenfold intensified Spirit to accomplish His economy in us.

All we have to do is just be OPEN – be open to His inward shining and infusing, so that He may transform us and fill us with life for His building!

The Seven Lamps are the Seven Eyes for Searching and Infusing

The golden lampstand has seven lamps, and these seven lamps are the seven Spirits of God. The seven Spirits of God – the sevenfold intensified Spirit – is also the eyes of Jehovah, of the redeeming Lamb, and of the building Stone.

The seven eyes of the Lamb are for redemption (Zech. 3:9); the seven eyes of the stone are for God’s building (Zech. 4:10), and the seven eyes of Jehovah are for the carrying out of God’s administration (Rev. 1).

The Spirit of God has been intensified sevenfold to observe and search. The seven eyes of the Lord observe, look, study, search, investigate, and discover – they scan the whole earth, and they scan our entire being.

These seven eyes see everything: they see into the cells, the pores, the vessels of our being, and they see into our heart, our soul, our will, our emotion, and everything in us. God’s eyes are upon us – this means that His seven Spirits are in us and with us, searching us and observing us.

Sometimes we may wish for these eyes to take a break and leave us for a little while, but in His mercy, God continues to observe us, search us, and execute God’s judgement on anything that doesn’t match Him in our being – for the completing of His move!

Being Open to the Seven Eyes, the Seven Lamps

We don’t really know what’s in us. We think we’re OK. But when God’s eyes are on us, when the seven Spirits are searching and burning in us, we discover how dirty, sinful, and natural we are.

We don’t know how many strange things are buried in our being, and how many crazy philosophies and opinions we have in us. We need God’s eyes to observe us, search us, and judge those things.

Wherever His light comes in, God judges. But we shouldn’t be afraid of this. We just need to be open to Him. Just tell the Lord,

Lord, make me open to the searching and shining of Your seven eyes. Lord, judge in me anything that You deem necessary to judge. Clear up my whole being of all the things that are not pleasing to You. Lord, I just want to be open to You!

When we are open to Him in such a way, He searches us, judges us, and purifies us, and then He dispenses Himself into us. After He judges and burns the self, the natural man, the pride, the ambition, He infuses and transfuses the riches of His being into us.

His light is like a laser, a beam of light, burning only the natural and bad things, pulverising and eliminating them. We just need to be open to Him, allow His eyes to shine on us and search us, being open to God’s light, and we will receive His shining and His marvellous transfusion into us.

It is through this shining, searching, judging, and infusing, that He replaces everything else in our being, transforming us for His building.

The Spirit with Our Spirit – the Lamp Shining in Us

Within us we have two lamps—the sevenfold intensified Spirit of God within our spirit (Prov. 20:27; Rev. 4:5; 1 Cor. 6:17).

Within us we have two lamps—the sevenfold intensified Spirit of God within our spirit (Prov. 20:27; Rev. 4:5; 1 Cor. 6:17).

In Prov. 20:27 we see that the spirit of man is the lamp of Jehovah – in us, our human spirit is God’s lamp. Also, the lampstand is a lamp with the seven Spirits shining bright, sevenfold intensified – we are one spirit with the Lord (1 Cor. 6:17). Within us right now as Christians we have two lamps – the Spirit of God and our human spirit.

Before we were regenerated “our lamp was broken”, but after we repented the spirit was restored and it began to give forth light since the sevenfold intensified Spirit is in our spirit. The more we exercise our spirit, the more we pray and read the Word of God in a prayerful way, the more there’s a shining in us.

All our inner chambers need to be open to His shining. Sometimes the Lord shines in us through His Spirit with our spirit, but we don’t want to open certain areas of our being. We may continue to read the Bible, meet with the saints, and pay the price to do things for the Lord in many ways, but we don’t want to open some chambers in our inner being.

He wants to come into every part of our mind, emotion, will, conscience, thoughts, opinions, desires, yearnings, purposes, decisions, etc and He wants to shine on us so that He may infuse life into us for God’s building.

This is the process of transformation – the process of opening to the Lord for His shining, searching, burning, and infusing into every part of our inner being. The key is to be open and remain in our spirit.

If we open to the Lord a little today and a little more tomorrow, He can transform us and impart life into us to make us part of the golden lampstand, His building, His corporate expression.

Lord Jesus, we open to You in faith right now. Lord, keep us opening every chamber of our inner being to You. Lord, we open our mind to You – come in and shine on our concepts, opinions, thoughts, imaginations, dreams…. Lord, we open our emotion, our desires, our feelings, our likes and dislikes: shine in us! Lord, what about our will, our decisions, our stubbornness  our purposes and goals… Come in, Lord, and shine as the sevenfold intensified Spirit with our spirit into all our heart and all our inner being!

Great post, Stefan. This matter of being open to the Lord's shining and infusing is very helpful and practical. It's true that, many times, we don't know what is in our own heart. We may think that everything is okay and that we are pretty good. But when, by the Lord's mercy, we come to Him and open to Him as the light, His faithful shining reveals the true condition. As He shines in us and touches us, we can simply say "Amen" to His shining – this issues in more infusing. Of course, all of this results in a brighter expression of God in and through us.

Amen, brother. All we have to do is simply OPEN. He is faithful to shine, expose, and judge – He called us into the fellowship of His Son, and He wants to remove anything that hinders or delays this fellowship.

Lord, may we learn to say Amen! to Your shining again and again today!

The 7 LAMPS (Zec 4:2) are the 7 EYES of Christ as the LAMB (Rev 5:6) and as the stone (Zec 3:9). For redemption, Christ is the LAMB, and for building Christ is the STONE. For the purpose of redemption and building, Christ has 7 eyes, for observing and searching in order to execute God’s judgment upon the universe and for TRANSFUSING and INFUSING all that God is into His believers. Christ in resurrection, became the Life-giving Spirit, who is also the sevenfold intensified Spirit, for imparting the divine life into us for the building of God’s eternal habitation, the New Jerusalem.

Within every believer, there are 2 lamps: The Spirit of God within the regenerated human spirit. The two lamps had become one, for “he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit” (1 Cor 6:17). Before we were saved, our spirit was a broken lamp, but now the lamp was restored and day by day as we contact the Lord, the shining increases. “O Lord, I want to open every chambers of my soul to Your shining, Your searching and even Your judging to receive the greatest amount of transformation for Your building. Teach me how to open to You fully without reservation…”
