Having girded our loins with the truth, we are strengthened in our entire being to stand and to testify to the divine truth because we know the truth by being in the true One.
God and Christ and the Spirit are the truth, the reality, and the devil, Satan, is a lie and the father of lies; the ruler of this world, the god of this age, has blinded the thoughts of the unbelievers. Oh, Lord!
The world today with the situation among unbelievers and believers alike is full of lies and non-truths, and the truth in the word of God is being denied, diluted, lowered, misapplied, and misunderstood.
We need to return to the word of God with its pure revelation, and we need to remain in the truth to be sanctified in the truth.
Behind the people to speak lies, teach lies, and even preach lies there’s the enemy, who speaks lies and is even the father of lies.
Satan is a murderer from the beginning, and he doesn’t stand in the truth, because there’s no truth in him.
When Satan speaks a lie, he speaks it out of his own possessions, for he’s a liar and the father of lies.
As believers in Christ, we need to beware of lowering the truth of God in the Word of God; we need to beware of not speaking the truth and not holding forth the truth.
We cannot be neutral; the Lord needs to gain an anti-testimony, a counter-testimony to what is happening today.
We are not in the business of arguing with people or attacking others; we fight with the evil powers who are in the heavenlies in the kingdom of darkness, and we deal with the enemy based on the name of the victorious Jesus Christ.
Our weapon is the truth, and we will hold nothing back.
Though the devil will bring in death and darkness, lie and deceit, we will withstand him by remaining in the truth, holding forth the truth, girding our loins with the truth, and testifying to the divine truth.
There is a satanic system composed of many ages which hold people and keep them away from God and His purpose; the ruler of this world uses the world with all its aspects and components to keep people away from God. Oh, Lord!
May the Lord uplift the prayer ministry of the church so that the enemy would be bound, the blinding work of the god of this age would be bound, and the people we talk to and interact with in the gospel would be released to believe the truth!
We need to pray and fight especially for the younger ones, those whom Satan wants to ruin the most by usurping them with all the aspects of the modern world, which are so appealing to them.
Many are spending hours and hours passively being infused with what the internet and their smartphone or laptop has to offer, and they are ruined as far as the Lord’s use is concerned.
May we not sit back and simply witness this happening; may we rise up, be girded with the truth, hold to truth in love, and testify to the truth, and at the same time may we pray one with the Lord for the truth to prevail!
Girding ourselves with Truth by Experiencing and Living Christ to Stand in the Spiritual Warfare
Eph. 6:14 says, Standing therefore, having girded your loins with truth; for us to be girded with truth is for the strengthening of our entire being, even as the girding of our loins is for the strengthening of our whole body. What is truth?
According to Eph. 4:15, 21, 24, and 25, truth refers to God in Christ as the reality in our living, that is, our experience and realization of Christ in our living.
When we experience Christ, He becomes truth in us and to us; when we live Christ and Christ lives in us, we gird ourselves with the truth. Our living of Christ becomes the girdle that strengthens our whole being for spiritual warfare.
When God Himself is expressed through us in our living in a practical way, we are girded with the truth, and we can stand in spiritual warfare.
When our loins are girded with truth, we are made strong for the purpose of standing.
However, if our daily living is far below the standard of the truth as it is in Jesus, we cannot withstand the evil day but rather, we will flee.
If we do not live Christ, we are not girded with truth as it is in Jesus, and we have no testimony of God, no expression of God; therefore, we are not able to stand against the stratagems of the devil.
If we are loose in our daily living, we are not able to stand against the powers of darkness.
We need to not only know the truth but also be girded with the truth by living Christ according to the divine truths, and our daily life will be according to the principle of the truth and up to the standard of the truth.
Truth is not only the divine truth in the word of God but also the subjective truth, the truth becoming subjective to us to be God Himself expressed as the principle of our daily living and the pattern of our life.
The truth with which we are girded for spiritual warfare is actually the very Christ we experience; as we experience Christ, He as truth becomes subjective to us, and we can stand in the spiritual warfare.
On one hand, Christ is everything to God, but He has to become everything to us also.
He has to become our life, our person, and our everything. Paul testified in Phil. 1:21 that to him to live was Christ; the Christ whom Paul lived was his girdle of truth.
This Christ was God expressed and revealed in Paul’s daily walk.
When we express God and live Him, He is revealed in us and through us as truth, and this enables us to stand in the spiritual warfare.
When our daily living is conformed to the pattern of Christ, we have the strength to face all opposition and adverse circumstances.
This is our need today: we need to gird our loins with truth so that our whole being would be strengthened for us to stand and withstand the devil in the day of spiritual warfare.
Satan knows who lives Christ and has Christ living in him.
In Acts, there were some who tried to cast out demons by telling them to get out of someone in the name of the Jesus whom Paul announced, but the demons said, Jesus we know, we are familiar with Paul, but who are you?
The evil spirits can see when we live Christ and express Him in our daily living, and this causes them to be defeated when such ones withstand him, having been girded with the truth.
Lord Jesus, we want to stand by having our loins with truth. We want to live Christ and express Christ in our daily living. Save us from having no expression and no testimony of God in our daily walk. Save us from having a daily living that is loose and void of living Christ. May our daily living be according to the principle of the truth and up to the standard of the truth. Live in us today, Lord, so that we may have the subjective truth, Christ being lived in us and experienced by us. May we be girded with the truth by having Christ expressed and revealed in our daily walk so that we may be able to stand in the spiritual warfare. Amen, Lord, conform us to Your pattern and live in us so that we may have the strength to face all opposition and any adverse circumstances!
We can Testify to the Divine Truth because we Know the Truth by being in the True One
Brothers and sisters, we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding that we might know Him who is true; and praise the Lord, we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ (1 John 5:20).
Right now, we are in the true One, the true, and we are immersed in the Triune God who is true, who is the truth.
The whole world lies in the evil one, the father of lies, darkness, and death, but we abide in the true One with life, light, and resurrection life.
The more we abide in the true One, the true God, the more we become what He is in the attribute of truthfulness.
The Lord Jesus, the Son of God, has come and has given us an understanding that we might know the genuine and real God (John 1:14, 18; 1 John 5:20).
In His prayer in John 17:3 He said that this is the true life to know the only true God and the One whom He has sent; for us to know God we don’t need to study hard and get a Master Degree or a Ph. D – we have an ability to know God!
By being in the true One, we can know God! And we rejoice inwardly, for we are in the True, the Real, the Triune God with His Word!
1 John 5:20 speaks twice of “Him who is true”, the True One, the True; this term refers to God becoming subjective to us, to the God who is objective becoming the true One in our life and experience.
This is what we aspire, to have the objective God, the God revealed in the Bible, become the true One in our life and experience every day.
He is objective to us, but we open to Him and we allow Him to work Himself into us, and we experience Him as the true One – the true One is in us and we are in Him!
The true One is the divine reality; for us to know the true One is for us to know the divine reality by experiencing, enjoying, and possessing this reality.
May the Lord’s divine light shine on us concerning the fact that we are in the reality, in the true One, therefore we are true and real, we are becoming what He is!
The divine reality, which is God Himself, is becoming our reality in our experience.
The God who was once objective to us has become our subjective reality.
In Himself, God is truth and reality; in us, however, He is becoming reality and truth, and we experience Him as the true One by being in Him.
We can testify to the divine truth because we know the truth not merely objectively with our mind but subjectively by being in the true One.
We not only know the true One, experience the true One, and enjoy and possess the true One, but we are in this reality – we are in the true One!
If we are not in God, we can’t stay from experience that to us He is true; in Himself He is true, but in us, we can’t testify that He is true.
Hallelujah, the Son of God has given us an understanding so that we may know this divine reality!
And the way we know it is by experiencing, enjoying, and possessing this reality.
When we all have such an experience, we can offer the Father the worship that He desires after the Lord’s Table meeting, for we will offer the Christ we enjoyed and experienced in spirit as our truthfulness.
We will worship the Father in the divine reality, offering Him as the reality of all the offerings, because the reality of Christ as the offerings is part of our being.
Because we know the true One and the Spirit of truth, and because Christ (the truth) is living in us and the Triune God is operating in us to make us God-men, we can testify to the truth as the Lord Jesus Himself did this!
When He was standing before Pilate, the Lord said, For this, I have been born, and for this, I have come into the world, that I would testify to the truth; everyone who is of the truth hears My voice (John 18:37).
And we are constituted with the truth, we become the pillar and base of the truth, we propagate the truth, we testify to the truth, and we fight for the truth until the end of this age!
Amen, this will be our destiny, for we as the true will meet the Triune God as truth, and the Bridegroom and His bride will be a corporate True One! Hallelujah!
Hallelujah, we can testify to the divine truth because we know the truth by being in the true One! Thank You Lord for coming as the Son of God and giving us an understanding that we might know Him who is true! Hallelujah, we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. We just abide in You as the true One until we are made true and real until we become Your duplication and reproduction. Amen, Lord, may the objective God as revealed in the New Testament become our subjective reality day by day in our experience. May we become a constitution of truthfulness, the Triune God experienced by us to become our virtue of truthfulness. Amen, Lord, operate in us and work Yourself into us until we become God-men testifying to the truth in this dark and evil age today!
