Being Discipled by the High Peak of the Divine Revelation to have a God-man Living

We don’t know exactly what are the transcendent revelations Paul spoke of in 2 Cor. 12:7, but these days we have been shown a high revelation of God’s economy, and we have clearly seen that God became man to make man God in life and nature but not in the Godhead. This is the highest and the grandest of all revelations in the Bible, but if it could be for us to go higher is that the process of deification gives way to and brings in the God-man living.

Through deification we have an inward organic constitution of the divine element, the treasure of God being deposited and constituted into our being, and when this constitution begins to move, touch, act, interact, be dynamic, and have an appearance, the result is a God-man living.

We really are on the threshold of a new revival, and we feel the Lord is encouraging us to enter into the God-man living on the earth. We need to enter into new territory, a new realm of living where this new constitution of God and man would live on earth and bring the Lord back through such a living.

This week we are entering into the matter of living the life of a God-man – being discipled to live the life of a God-man to be today’s overcomers for a new revival. We are here being discipled by the Lord; we don’t only have an anticipation, a desire, and an aspiration but also an expectation for the new revival to come into fruition because the discipling we are under is potent, effective, and able to work out in us what God desires!

There are three aspects of this discipling: first, the high peak of the divine revelation disciples us into the God-man living for the new revival; second, we have the living of our Lord Jesus who now lives in us, and He’s discipling us both by His pattern on earth and by living in us as the life-giving Spirit; third, we have many vivid and aromatic patterns both throughout history and in our age, patterns of those who lived a God-man life on earth.

Being Discipled by the High Peak of the Divine Revelation to have a God-man Living

What God needs today is a corporate people to be raised up by His grace through the high peak of the divine revelation to live a life according to this revelation for the establishing of a model of corporate God-man living to bring in a new revival to end this age and bring the Lord back.

We need to be discipled by the Lord to focus not on our needs but on His need; we need to be freed from our need and the oppression of our natural man and be brought into the living of the God-man to meet God’s need. We are being discipled by God today through the high peak of the divine revelation to be able to live the life of a God-man.

First, God shows us a vision of the high peak of the divine revelation, and then we enter into the practice of the God-man living. Seeing that God became man to make man God in life and nature but not in the Godhead will bring us into a certain kind of living, the God-man living.

The indescribable vision is poised to bring us into the highest, incredibly great living which has not yet risen in the thought or come up to man’s heart (see 1 Cor. 2), but by seeing this revelation and realizing how God is working Himself into man we can have a living that matches it. The seeing of the divine revelation brings in the experience and the living, and this living is continuous; this implies that our seeing must be continuous.

The God-man living is under the continuous seeing of the vision of the high peak of the divine revelation. God’s economy is a beholding economy: the Lord promised us that even though the world will not see Him anymore, yet we as His disciples behold Him, and because He lives we also shall live (John 14:19). Hallelujah, as we behold the Lord, we are enabled to live the same kind of living that He had on earth!

The living the Lord wants us to have is a living in which we are beholding Him all the time. As seen in Song of Songs 2:6, the Lord holds us with His right hand of strength in His loving embrace so that nothing would get us out, and with His left hand of loving care He positions our view so that we would have an uninterrupted seeing of Him!

By beholding the Lord in His embracing us we can be brought on in the divine romance and enter into the God-man living, and we are connected to Him, infused by Him, continually receiving from Him, and He is the source, the vibrancy, and the pulse of our living.

If we take care of constantly beholding the Lord and being under the vision of the high peak of the divine revelation, we will be brought into the God-man living. The all-inclusive all-embracing consummated end-of-the-age vision we have seen disciples us and produces in us a living that is the same as the Lord Jesus’ living, the God-man living.

The Lord wants to build up in His recovery a group of people who are a corporate model living the practice of the high peak of the divine revelation which they have seen.

As we constantly live under the broadcasting of the vision of God’s economy and not abandon it even for a moment, we will live a life on the highest plane and practice what we have seen by living the life of a God-man – we will live in an uninterrupted fellowship with the Lord, constantly receiving the flow from the throne into our spirit and then out of us as we live one spirit with the Lord!

Lord Jesus, hold us by Your right hand of strength in Your loving embrace and position our view to see You with Your loving care so that we may have an uninterrupted view of You and Your eternal economy. We give ourselves to You to be discipled by You and be freed from our own needs and natural man to care for Your need. Oh Lord, gain a group of people who have a clear vision of the high peak of the divine revelation and enter into the practice of the God-man living in a corporate way. Keep us living one spirit with You!

Practicing Living the Life of a God-man for the Building up of a Corporate Model Living in the Economy of God

At the end of this age the Lord has brought us at the highest peak in the divine revelation, the eternal economy of God in which God became man to make man God in life, nature, and expression but not in the Godhead for the building up of the organism of the Triune God, the Body of Christ, consummating in the New Jerusalem.

Such a high peak of the divine revelation should be the vision that governs us and controls our living, and we should enter into the practice of living a God-man life.

“Since we have seen such a high peak of the divine revelation, we need to put into practice what we have seen. Our practice will have a success, and that success will be a new revival—the highest revival, and probably the last revival before the Lord’s coming back….We need a corporate model, a Body, a people who live the life of a God-man. From today our practice should be to live the life of a God-man by realizing the power of the resurrection of Christ to take His cross as He did, to be crucified, to be conformed to His death, every day to live another One’s life (Phil. 3:10; 1:21; Gal. 2:20). Our life, our self, our flesh, our natural man, and our everything were already brought to the cross by Him. Now we are living Him, so we should remain in His crucifixion to be conformed to the mold of His death every moment in every part of our life. That will cause us to spontaneously live Him as the resurrection (John 11:25). This is the living of a God-man.

If we practice what we have heard, spontaneously a model will be built up. This model will be the greatest revival in the history of the church. I believe that this revival will bring the Lord back.” (Witness Lee, Living a Life according to the High Peak of God’s Revelation, pp. 33, 39-41)

To what degree do we have the practice of the God-man living in the church life today? We need to enter into the practice of living the life of a God-man, which is the reality of the Body of Christ, so that spontaneously a corporate model would be built up in the church life – a model living in the economy of God, a model which will be the greatest revival in the history of the church to bring the Lord back!

May we cooperate with the Lord and allow the high peak of the divine revelation to disciple us and bring us into a corporate God-man living for the building up of a model of living in God’s economy.

We need to be those who unceasingly pray by calling on the name of the Lord. At any time and in every place we can be saved by calling on the name of the Lord. To call on the Lord’s name is both to drink the living water and to pray, to fellowship with the Lord. To pray unceasingly is actually to call on the name of the Lord, and we need to practice calling on the Lord’s name until even in our sleep we breathe spiritually by calling on His name.

Paul encourages us to pursue the Lord with those who call on His name out of a pure heart (2 Tim. 2:22). But to what degree do we call on the name of the Lord to be infused with Him and enter into the God-man living? Calling on the name of the Lord is a reliable indicator of how we are doing in our God-man living.

We need to practice denying our self, living a crucified life by the power of Christ’s resurrection, and live in spirit the life of a God-man being under the continual seeing of the high peak of the divine revelation. May the Lord bring us into such a living today in all the local churches in His recovery!

Lord Jesus, make us those who practice living the life of a God-man for the building up of a corporate model living in the economy of God. O Lord Jesus, keep us calling on Your name to be saved, enjoy all Your riches, and be brought into the God-man living You desire to gain among Your people today. Keep us in an uninterrupted fellowship with You to continually enjoy the divine life flowing from the throne, into us, and out of us into others as we live the life of a God-man. Lord, bring in a new revival, the greatest revival in the history of the church that will bring You back!
