All Believers are part of the Household of faith, and Nothing is Impossible to Faith!

For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. Gal. 3:26

We need to see the effect of faith – nothing is impossible to faith, just as nothing is impossible with God; the believers in Christ are the household of faith, members of the house of faith, and as such, we are organically joined to the Lord as one spirit! Praise the Lord!

First, we need to see what is the source of faith; the source of faith is God Himself, and not just “God” in a mysterious way up in heaven, but God as seen and touched in His word, His living word.

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing comes through the word of God. When we hear the gospel, when we are under the hearing of God’s word, something happens in us – there’s a spontaneous reaction, and we simply believe.

The word of God is amazing; the words in the Bible are not the same as the words in all the other books.

Rather, the word of God has three main aspects: first, there’s the written word, then there’s the living word, and finally, is the applied word.

Somehow, when we read the written word of God with the exercise of our spirit, the word becomes living to us; this is Christ as the living word of God.

We all have experienced this; we may have read something from the Bible and then, suddenly, the word became living to us, even Christ.

By coming to the Word of God with the calling on the name of the Lord and turning our heart to Him, we are in the right condition to receive the living word of God, which is Christ.

Christ is infusing Himself into us by His word to generate faith in us.

Faith has its source in the word of God, the written word becoming the living word.

And this living word is being applied to us when we say Amen and do not disagree with it; when we welcome God’s word, Christ is being applied to us to become the Spirit, and this Spirit mingles Himself with our spirit to become a mingled spirit of faith. Hallelujah!

Before we heard the gospel, there was no divine life in us, and our spirit was deadened, without any function or motion; after we heard the gospel, the living word of God operated in us, and the Spirit applied this word to our being to mingle us with the Triune God.

We believers in Christ are privileged people: we have God mingled with us.

God is not only our God, our Creator, and our Master and Lord; even more, God is our Father, we are the children of God, and we are brothers of Christ. Praise the Lord!

The Effect of Faith: Nothing is Impossible to Faith, even as Nothing is Impossible to God, for Faith and God are One

...If you have faith like a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, Move from here to there, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you. Matt. 17:20

Everyone knows that with us, human beings, some things are just impossible to do and even to conceive, for we are limited and quite finite; however, with God, nothing is impossible.

And it is true: God can do all things, and there’s nothing that can limit Him in what He wants to do.

The earth was not there, the universe did not exist, and man was not, but God spoke, and all these things came into being.

He is the God who can speak and bring things into being; He is able to call things not being as being and give life to the dead (Rom. 4:17). This is our God.

However, Matt. 17:20 says that nothing is impossible to faith.

If we have faith like a mustard seed, we will say to the mountain that hinders us, Move from here to there, and it will move, and nothing will be impossible to us. Wow!

This doesn’t mean that we should be reckless and ask God to make this miracle or that miracle for us; also, this doesn’t mean that we Christians should ask God to give us things such as prosperity, riches, fame, glory, etc, and He will do it.

When we really have genuine faith, truly nothing is impossible to faith.

And we’re not talking about exercising faith in a strange way, for self-interest and self-glory, but in a proper way.

When we exercise faith in the context of something, in the context of God’s will for His economy, and we are the proper persons, this faith will have a great effect, and nothing is impossible to faith.

If we are the proper persons one with the Lord, having a living in oneness with Him, and exercising our spirit of faith, our faith can move mountains.

Nothing is impossible to faith. Even as nothing is impossible to God, so nothing is impossible to faith.

Charles Wesley wrote a hymn in which he says, “Let me no longer live, but Thee” (Hymns #535); this indicates that faith always annuls us and reveals Christ to us.

stanza 5 All things are possible to God; / To Christ, the power of God in man; / To me when I am all renewed, / In Christ am fully formed again, / And from the reign of sin set free, / All things are possible to me. stanza 5: All things are possible to God; / To Christ, the power of God in me; / Now shed Thy mighty Self abroad, / Let me no longer live, but Thee; / Give me this hour in Thee to prove / The sweet omnipotence of love. Hymns #535 by Charles WesleyFaith means that we believe that God is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him; on the other hand, faith means that we believe that we are not.

When we believe into the Lord, when we have faith, we are annulled, and Christ is revealed to us.

All things are possible to God, to Christ, the power of God in us; faith always annuls us and reveals Christ to us.

This is the real faith; the real faith is that we are not, we cannot do it, and we cannot make it, but Christ is everything in us, to us, and for us.

Only God is all-able, omnipotent, and nothing is impossible to Him (19:26); however, the Lord also said that nothing is impossible to faith.

This means that God and faith are one, and faith and God are one. Faith is the subjective God applied to our being; just as nothing is impossible to God, so nothing is impossible to faith. Amen!

If we don’t have God, if we are not one with God, God remains apart from us.

But if we have God in our being, this God becomes our faith; just as nothing is impossible to God, so nothing is impossible to faith.

May we realize that faith is God being subjectively applied to our being, and may we give ourselves to gain more of God, so that we may have more of the element of God as faith in us.

Then, as the element of God increase in us, faith grows at the same time.

When we pray by faith, when we are the proper persons one with the Lord and pray by faith, nothing will be impossible to our faith. Hallelujah!

Lord Jesus, we praise You that nothing is impossible with God! Hallelujah, our God is almighty and powerful, and nothing is impossible to God! Thank You, Lord, we are joined to You by faith, and just as nothing is impossible to God, so nothing is impossible to faith! Amen, Lord, we exercise our spirit of faith to simply be one with You. May it be no longer us but Christ. Hallelujah, all things are possible to God, to Christ, the power of God in us. May it be no longer us who live but Christ. Apply Yourself to our being, Lord, to fill us with faith and increase faith in us. We want to gain more of God today, so that faith may increase in us! Amen, Lord, may we see the effect of faith – nothing is impossible to faith! Make this so real to us!

As Believers in Christ, we are the Household of Faith, members of the Faith Home!

So then, as we have the opportunity, let us do what is good toward all, but especially toward those of the household of the faith. Gal. 6:10Gal. 6:10 says that we believers in Christ are the household of faith. Hallelujah! In this universe, there are many homes, many families, many households, but none is as big as the household of faith.

The believers, the believing ones in Christ, are the household of faith (Gal. 6:10). This household is a big family, and the family name is “faith”.

We are brothers and sisters in faith, and our family name is faith. We believers in Christ are part of the home of faith.

For example, we may say that a certain home is the Smith home, the Lee home, or the Liu home, but we now are all members of the “faith home”.

This is why we call one another brothers and sisters – because we really are brothers and sisters, and together we are part of the faith home, the household of faith.

We are members of the great family, the household of faith (Eph. 2:19; 1 Tim. 3:15; Heb. 3:6; 1 Pet. 4:17); this faith house is a house that believers in God through His word (Heb. 1:2; Matt. 17:5).

We may be lacking in faith, and some may have quite a little faith, but we are still part of the household of faith.

When we are in the meetings, when we enjoy the Lord and fellowship together, we are infused with faith, and faith increases in us.

Our faith increases, our faith is strengthened, and our faith becomes established; we are among a family of faith.

We are part of the household of faith, which is full of believers in Christ, the faith-people. Hallelujah!

And we believers don’t believe nonsensical things; we believe in the word of God and we say Amen to the word of God.

We realize that the word of God has three stages: the written word, the living word, and the applied word.

Before the Lord’s incarnation, there was only the written word, but when Christ came, the living word of God came.

Now we can receive the word of God by means of all prayer and petition, and we can even have this word applied to us in our being as the Spirit.

The word of God is not only something written in the pages of the Bible; this word is something living, something operative, and even something that is being applied to our being by the Spirit.

So then you are no longer strangers and sojourners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God. Heb. 1:2 But if I delay, [I write] that you may know how one ought to conduct himself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and base of the truth. Matt. 17:5When today we touch the Bible, right away the word of God can be living and applied to us.

Our God is a speaking God; He spoke in many ways and in many portions to the fathers in the prophets, and at the last of these days has spoken to us in the Son, the embodiment of God, the living word of God.

This word becomes the living word, Christ, and this living word is applied by the Spirit.

When we come to the word of God with an exercised spirit and a turned heart, we receive more of the Triune God, for God is infusing Himself into us by means of His living word (Christ) being applied to us by the Spirit.

By this infusion of Christ, we are brought into an organic union with the Lord (John 3:15, 36).

How can we be organically joined to the Lord by faith? It is by coming to the word of God to enjoy the living word and have it applied to us in spirit.

Through faith in Christ, we are brought into an organic union with the Lord; our faith is a linking faith, a faith that links us to the Triune God and to the brothers and sisters in Christ.

Hallelujah, may we learn to live in the household of faith, and may we live by faith day by day, remaining in the organic union with the Lord and in fellowship with the saints!

Thank You, Lord, for making us members of the household of faith! Hallelujah, all believers in Christ are members of the family of faith! Wow, Lord, we are in the faith-family, the faith-house, and we all are joined to the Lord in spirit and joined to one another by faith! Keep us coming to Your word, Lord, to have the living word of God applied to us by the Spirit so that we may gain more of God as our faith. Keep us in the organic union with You, Lord, so that we may live by faith and walk by faith. Keep us in the meetings of the church, under the hearing of faith, fellowshipping with the Lord and with the saints in the household of faith!

We are believers, who do not believe nonsensical things. We believe in the word, and the word has three stages: the written word, the living word, and the applied word. Over two thousand years ago, there was only the written word, not the living word, because Christ was not here yet. Today we have the living word. Without Christ as the living word, it was very hard for God’s word to become the applied word as the Spirit. This is because before Christ came, the Spirit was mostly objective; He was not yet within God’s people. Before Christ, the Spirit of God was upon God’s people. But today we have the Triune God embodied in Christ and realized as the all-inclusive, compound, life-giving Spirit indwelling us all the time. Thus, when we touch the Bible, right away the Bible can become living and applied. We are the members of the family, the household, of the faith. This faith house is a house that believes in God through His word. Hebrews 1 says that God has spoken (vv. 1-2). This word becomes the living word, Christ, and this living word is applied by the Spirit. Then we have the Triune God as the word in us.
