Being Absolutely Open to the Lord and Persevering in Prayer to be His Overcomers today

The only way for us to reach the high peak of God’s eternal economy – the reality of the Body of Christ – is by praying; we need to pray and open widely to the Lord for Him to come in to use us as a stepping stone, a beachhead, for His ultimate move on earth today.

May we be those who see the Lord’s call, His desire to gain the overcomers, and may we give ourselves to Him to be vitalized by living in oneness with Him.

God’s move on the earth for the accomplishment of His eternal economy is ultimately fulfilled through the overcomers. When He gains the overcomers, He can end this age and bring in the kingdom.

Our God is a living and moving God, and we are the church as the house of the living God. He lives and acts through us, the church.

He needs us – He needs a beachhead, a landing spot, where He can put His foot when He comes so that through the church He would bring in the kingdom of God.

In world war II, when the Allies wanted to make an invasion with many boats across the English Channel into France, they needed to have a beachhead.

The Nazis had all their embattlements in Normandy, so the Allies had to be careful how they invaded and how to take one spot, where they can land and bring in their troops.

Once the beach of Normandy was taken, once the Allied forces landed in this one spot, you could say that the war was over, for from there they could advance and push back the Nazis and the other troops until they won the war.

This is an illustration of how God wants to bring in the kingdom on earth today; the whole world is filled with rebellion and evil, but as long as God gains the beachhead, the overcomers, He will win the war.

Today it seems that the evil forces are prevailing everywhere, and almost nowhere can we see the overcomers who give the Lord the ground to move.

So the Lord is moving secretly, in a hidden and inward way, to gain those who cooperate with Him for the fulfillment of His purpose.

These are the overcomers, those who overcome to pray in oneness with the Lord for Him to carry out what is in His heart.

Even more, He as the sevenfold intensified Spirit is the seven lamps of fire before God’s throne to execute God’s eternal policy, and He moves all over the earth as the seven Spirits to carry out God’s administration.

May we be those who cooperate with the Lord in and through our prayer today, and may we be produced as the overcomers today!

Being Absolutely Open to the Lord and Possessed by Him to be the Overcomers He needs today, the Beachhead through which He can return

Who today is open to the Lord for what He wants to do on earth? On this earth which is usurped by Satan, the Lord wants to gain the overcomers, those who are absolutely open to the Lord and are possessed by Him.

They are the overcoming ones, typified by Zion, to be the beachhead through which the Lord as the King of glory will return to possess the whole earth as His kingdom (Psa. 24:1-3, 7-10; Dan. 2:34-35; 7:13-14; Joel 3:11; Rev. 11:15; 19:13-14).

We need to pray to be such ones; we want to be those who are absolutely open to the Lord, even fully possessed by Him, so that He may use us for His purpose.

On this corrupted earth filled with rebellion, immorality, and degradation, the Lord as the King of glory wants to gain a beachhead, a stepping stone, where He can return to possess the whole earth as His kingdom.

Satan is actively usurping the whole earth with all those who live on it, but the Lord wants to gain those who cooperate with Him to be freed from Satan’s usurpation and are absolutely open to the Lord and possessed by Him.

Psa. 24:7-10 is such an encouraging portion that can be applied to us believers today; though the earth is usurped, we as the church want to be those who lift up our heads, turn our heart to Him and allow the King of glory to come in. Amen, may the gates be lifted up so that the King of glory come in!

As those who are in the process to be the mountain of Zion, we must have our doors open so that Christ may come in.

This psalm was written on the occasion of David’s returning the Ark to Zion.

In such a situation, with such a background, David wrote Psa. 24, asking the gates to lift up their heads and the long-enduring doors to be lifted up, so that the King of glory – Jehovah strong and mighty, Jehovah mighty in battle – would come in (vv. 7-8).

Today our hearts must be turned to the Lord, praying that our heart would behold Him face to face and being absolutely open to Him to be possessed by Him, so that the King of glory would come in.

May we respond to the Lord’s calling that our heart would turn to Him, and may we run to Him, follow Him, and be one with Him. Jehovah of armies is coming, and we are following Him; He is riding on a white horse, and we follow Him as His armies.

Our honeymoon will begin at the battle of Armageddon; our Bridegroom will take us to the battle on our honeymoon, and we ride in His victory.

Christ as the King is coming with God’s kingdom, and we can be absolutely open to Him as His overcomers; may our homes be open to Him, may our hearts be turned to Him, and may we expect His coming.

May we lift up our heads and await and expect His coming with long endurance.

On one hand, we turn our heart to the Lord and absolutely open to Him; on the other hand, we need to lift up our heads and await and expect His coming with long endurance.

Christ will not come soon according to our concept but in His time, and His return is very much dependent on our cooperation.

He is the desire of all the nations; all the nations in a general way are expecting Christ to come, but He will not come as quickly as we expect.

So we need to lift up our head and expect His return with endurance.

Amen, we want to be one with the Lord – the incarnated, crucified, and resurrected Triune God who is strong in fighting and victorious, to be one with Him in His return as His armies to possess the entire earth as His kingdom!

Lord Jesus, we open to You without reservation: we turn our heart to You and we allow You to come in! Amen, Come in, Lord! Before You come back to the earth, come into the church! Come in to possess the mountain of Zion, the overcomers. Make us Your overcoming ones, the ones who are absolutely open to You and who allow You to possess them fully! Come in, Lord Jesus, the King of glory! Set up Your kingdom in our heart and in the church life today! We want to be one with You for Your return! We lift up our heads and await Your coming with long endurance! Come, Lord Jesus!

There is no other Way to Reach the High Peak of God’s Economy except by Persevering in Prayer: we need to Fight for our Prayer Life!

When we see the Lord’s desire to return, when we realize the urgent need for some to be His overcomers who are absolutely open to Him and possessed by Him, we will simply pray.

In God, there is a need for some to respond to Him, and in us, there is a prayer, even a fight for our prayer life for Him to do what He wants to do.

He wants to gain the overcomers, and in ourselves, we realize that we can’t do it, so we pray and open absolutely to Him.

How can we be vitalized, being living and active in oneness with the Lord in our living and work in the church life today?

It is only by praying; we need to fight for our prayer life and pray the prayers that He needs to cooperate with Him.

As we realize that this earth is usurped by Satan, we learn to open to the Lord in an absolute way and we allow Him to possess us; we do this through prayer.

There is no other way for us to reach the high peak of God’s eternal economy except through prayer.

There is no other way for us to enter into the reality of the Body of Christ except through prayer. It is only through prayer that we can be produced as the overcomers, those who overcome in this age for the Lord to accomplish what He desires.

As we cooperate with the Lord through prayer, as we unceasingly pray by saying Amen to the Lord’s speaking in us, we will be produced by Him as the overcoming ones.

Our becoming the overcomers as the reality of the Body of Christ to be the bride of Christ will close this age, the age of the church.

Also, it will bring Christ as the King of glory back to take, possess, and rule over this earth with His overcomers in the kingdom age (Rev. 20:4-6; Psa. 24:7-10).

All the churches on earth should be a house of prayer; we are the house of the living God, and we pray back to God what He reveals to us as His need.

We say Amen to His need, we pray His need back to Him as the house of prayer, and He is producing the overcomers as the reality of the Body.

It is these overcomers who are produced by prayer that will be the bride of Christ to close this age and bring Christ back as the King of glory.

May we rise up and be desperate to pray at any cost and to pay the cost even as the apostle Paul did.

May we receive the word of God by means of all prayer and petition, conversing with the Lord by means of His word and converting the word from logos into rhema.

The word of God we read and enjoy is the logos, His constant word; the rhema is His instant speaking, His up-to-date speaking, His personal speaking to each one of us.

As we pray back to the Lord the word He speaks to us, we are washed by the washing of the water in the word, and the constant word of God becomes His instant word, even the sword of the Spirit to kill the adversary within and the enemy without (Eph. 6:17-18).

The Lord’s speaking is the washing of the water in the word that beautifies us to make us His glorious church, His glorious bride.

May we be those who persevere in prayer, watching in it with thanksgiving (Col. 4:2), realizing that everything fighting against our prayer life. When we have set times of prayer with the Lord, everything rises up to hinder or stop our prayer life.

Our phone may ring, we may get an email or a notification, or someone may just ring the doorbell; everything rises up against our prayer life.

May we guard our prayer life, guarding our time of prayer to the Lord so that we may open absolutely to Him and allow Him to possess us and have a way in us, especially through our prayer.

Lord Jesus, we come to Your word with the exercise of our spirit and say Amen to Your word. May Your constant word become Your instant speaking so that we may be cleansed by the washing of the water in the Word and be produced as Your beautiful bride. Amen, Lord Jesus, we open to You concerning our prayer life: we want to persevere in prayer. Bring us to the high peak of God’s eternal economy, the reality of the Body of Christ. Make us Your overcomers. Make us part of Your bride who will close the age and bring Christ, the King of glory, back to take the earth. Amen, Lord Jesus, we want to cooperate with You in prayer for You to gain what You are after in us!
