we need to be constituted with the truth and have the solid truth deposited into our being

we need to be constituted with the truth and have the solid truth deposited into our beingAs believers in the Lord, we have the Spirit of God within and the Word of God without, and everything that we experience of the Lord is related to these two. If we neglect the Word of God outside of us and we don’t read it regularly, no matter how much we seek the Spirit within, our experience is not that rich and not that meaningful.

Everything needs to be based on the Word of God – and the way we read and get into the Word is by praying over the Word to enjoy the Spirit in the Word.

When we exercise our spirit to read the Word and pray over the Word, the written Word becomes the rhema, the living Word to nourish us and supply us!

We need to be constituted with the truth

This is not just an expression – being constituted with the truth – and it not just something we desire to do, but this is our need! If we love the Lord, we also need to love His Word and keep His Word (John 14:15), that is, get into His Word!

We need to do our best to get ourselves into the divine truths revealed in the Word of God and get the truth constituted into our being. This is not something we do once in a while, and it cannot be accomplished in a short period of time.

Daily we need to set aside time to get into the Word and into the proper opening and interpretation of the Word to be constituted with the truth!

The way to grow in life and to have a rich experience of the Lord is to know the truth and be constituted with the truth. We need to have an interest, a seeking heart, and a spirit to seek after the Lord in His Word.

The truth is in the Bible, and today we have the Bible fully opened up in a proper way, according to God’s economy. When we ourselves are regularly spending time to Pray-Read the Word, Study the Word, Recite the Word, and Prophesy the Word (PSRP), the truth in the Word of God becomes the living truth in our being constituting us!

The solid truth nourishes us all the time

Many people come to the Word of God to receive supply or inspiration, and they seek something to inspire them and to encourage them in their daily life. This is good, but is the truth in the Bible being deposited into our being daily? Can we speak the truth to others and “cut straight the Word of the truth” (2 Tim. 2:15)?

Can we present the major truths in the Bible in an adequate way to the saints? We need to learn how to read the Bible and study it in such a way that what we read would become a living truth in our being, nourishing us for the long term.

If all we receive when we read the Bible is inspiration, this is like a vapor – it doesn’t stay for long. But if we dig into the Word and study the Word and the ministry which opens up the Word, committing the truths to our memory and even understanding them in the divine light, the truth in the Word of God becomes the solid truth in our being.

If we don’t understand the truths in the Bible, they can’t get into us. The truth gets into our being through our mentality, our understanding, and it becomes constant and long-term nourishment for our whole life!

Protecting the interest of the riches of God

Today we have the opportunity and the privilege to accumulate the truth little by little and build up a deposit of the truth into our being. This deposit is long term nourishment for us in our Christian life, always supplying us, enabling us to present the truth to others that they may receive life and touch God.

Also, the constitution with the truth makes us the wall of the city of the New Jerusalem – it separates us from anything that’s outside God and it causes us to express God! God was expressed through the wall of the city, and the wall kept everything that is not of God outside.

Another function of the wall of the city of New Jerusalem is that it protects the interest of the riches of God’s divinity on the earth and the attainments of His consummation.

As we see the riches of God’s divinity, the processes He went through, what He has accomplished, attained, and obtained, we become constituted with these matters and they even become us!

When we see the riches of the Father’s divinity, the attainments of the Son, and the transforming work of the Spirit, we can protect them by speaking them and shining them out! Wow, our being constituted with the truth is not only for our sake but even for God’s sake!

[sharing inspired from Elders’ Training Book 3: The Way to Carry Out the Vision, chs. 9-10, as quoted in the Holy Word for Morning Revival on, The Four Great Pillars in the Lord’s Recovery. Intro: gaining the solid truth]

Thank You Lord for the truth in the Word of God and in the ministry of the age which opens up the Word. Cause us to see the truth and get into the truth to have the truth deposited into our being! Lord, save us from being superficial or short when we come to the Word! May we spend much time every day to accumulate the truth and have it stored into our being. O, Lord, we give ourselves to You to be constituted with the truth today!

Since the divine truth is the first great pillar in the Lord's recovery, we must give the truth the first place in our spiritual pursuit.  By being constituted with the divine truths we have the revelation needed to experience the Lord as life in a rich way. We also have the vocabulary for prayer. With truth plus life, we have the foundation–the vision and element to make us living stones for the building of the church. This truth is also the content we need to fulfill the church's commission to preach the high gospel. Such a truth will make us the transformed walls of the holy city protecting the interests of the riches of God's divinity and the attainments of His consummation. Praise Him!

Here's a song based on the prayer above, tune: Since Christ My Soul / hymns #348 http://www.hymnal.net/hymn.php/h/348

O Lord, we give ourselves to You,
That we would know You in Your Word.
Make us those who pay the price to–
Be constitut'd with, know the truth.

May we not lower the standard of–
The truth but rather, we'd allow–
The truth to uplift our whole being,
And even our experience.

2) We want to be absolute for–
The truth, revealed, here in God's Word.
Save us, Lord, from uplifting–
Anything b'sides what Your Word speaks,

Its' proper interpretation in–
The light of Your economy!
We'd know Your word, and know Your truth,
O make us, Lord, so absolute!

John 18:37 shows that just like our LORD, we are existing in this world to get constituted with the truth and testify the truth to produce the church, help the church to exist, and to build up the church. The kind of church we build depends upon what kind of truth we teach…

The truth is no where but in the Bible, and today the Bible has been fully opened up in a proper way, according to GOD's economy. All we need now is to get constituted with the opened truth by way of pray-reading, studying, reciting, and prophesying…
