We Fulfill our Duty without Anxiety, trusting our Heavenly Father who Knows our Needs

For all these things the Gentiles are anxiously seeking. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. Matt. 6:32

As believers in Christ, we fulfil our duty to study or work to sustain our living, yet we do not do anything for the sake of our anxiety, for we have a divine life that knows no anxiety; we fulfil our human duty to the Lord and we trust in God to take care of our needs and to dispense Himself into us.

Amen, Lord, we trust in You! We do not trust in what we can do. We do our best to fulfil our duty, but our trust is in You! Hallelujah, we have a heavenly Father, and He cares for us! Amen, Lord, we trust in your loving care. We trust in You for both our material and spiritual needs! We love You, Lord, and we live to You and for You! Amen!

We believers in Christ have the divine life and nature of our heavenly Father, and we should live by this divine life and nature, not by our natural human life. When we live by our human life, our life is a life of anxiety, for the totality of our human life is anxiety and the gear of the human living is anxiety.

When we are children, we don’t worry about anything, for we have parents, and they take care of everything. But as we grow up, we start to be anxious about many things. We are anxious about our future, our school, our exams, our job, our spouse, our family, and so many things.

Even in the things of God, in the church life, it is easy to be anxious regarding the going on of the saints, the shepherding of the new ones, the practical service, and so many things.

But we need to realise that, even though there are many things to be taken care of and even though there are things that we think we need, we should not be anxious but rather, trust in our heavenly Father. Our Father knows what we need. We simply need to trust in Him.

Our human life is a life of anxiety and constituted with anxiety. But praise the Lord, in the divine life in our spirit there is no anxiety, and when we are one with the Lord in our daily living, we have no anxious thoughts!

Anxiety is something of the human life, but it is a foreign concept to the divine life.

God knows everything; He knows all the problems, and He knows all the needs; He has a desire and a purpose, and He clearly sees how much the enemy does to frustrate Him.

But God is not anxious. He is patient and kind, and He is ever giving and ever dispensing all that He is into man.

We are children of our heavenly Father, and we live by His life and nature to be perfect even as He is.

When we live by the divine life and nature, we will live a life of no anxiety; rather, our life will be full of enjoyment, rest, comfort, and satisfaction. Amen, may we live such a life today and every day!

As we Fulfill our Duty to Study or Work to Sustain our Living, we Don’t do Anything for the Sake of Anxiety, for there’s No Anxiety in the Divine Life!

Therefore do not be anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, With what shall we be clothed? For all these things the Gentiles are anxiously seeking. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. Matt. 6:31-32

How wonderful it is to live the Christian life today, a life of no anxiety but full of the enjoyment of Christ! Today the world around us is full of anxiety, and anxiety causes all people to do all kinds of things to provide for themselves and cover their needs to the best of their ability.

We believers in Christ are different from the people in the world, who have no aim in their life; we live to the Lord, we live for the Lord, and our human existence here on earth is for God.

All these things the Gentiles are anxiously seeking, but we have a heavenly Father who knows that we need all these things (Matt. 6:32).

As we live our human life today, we need to fulfill our duty to study, work, and do all kinds of things to sustain our living, but we should not do anything for the sake of our anxiety.

Why shouldn’t we be anxious as we do this and that? Why shouldn’t we be anxious like the people around us, who do so many things to make sure their future is ensured, their family is safe, their health is taken care of, they have a good house, they get a good car, and they have nice clothes and nice food?

We may say that there’s nothing wrong with all these things, but being anxious about these things is wrong. We need to study and we need to do our best in our studies.

We need to make sure we finish our education and get the best degree we can possibly have. But as we study, as we seek to complete our education, we are different from worldly people.

They study for the sake of their anxiety; we study for the Lord, even to fulfil our duty for the Lord and before the Lord. This is what we see in Matthew 6:19-34 in essence.

We don’t do this in a legal way, in the way of not caring for what we do, for God takes care of everything; rather, we do all things not for the sake of our anxiety but by the divine life, and there’s anxiety in the divine life.

We need to realise that we have a divine life that knows no anxiety; there is no point for us to be anxious, for nothing is accomplished by being anxious except us being damaged inwardly and usurped by Satan.

Satan usurps us by our anxiety. Instead of being anxious, we should cast all our anxious thoughts on the Lord, being assured that it matters to Him concerning us, and He takes good care of us.

And you, do not seek what you shall eat and what you shall drink, and do not be unsettled. For all these things the Gentiles of the world are anxiously seeking, but your Father knows that you need these things. However, seek His kingdom, and these things shall be added to you. Luke 12:29-31We need to fulfil our duty to work and sustain our living, but we don’t do it for the sake of our anxiety. Rather, from whatever we earn, we learn to give. We learn to store up treasures in heaven.

We send our money to heaven, not storing up for ourselves treasures on the earth. May we open to the Lord concerning this matter so that He may touch the root of anxiety in our being (Luke 12:29-31).

May we learn to transfer our treasures from the earth to the heavens so that we become millionaires not on the earth but in heaven, before God.

May we be a good giver according to the life and nature of our heavenly Father. He gives and gives and gives.

He has many riches, even inexhaustible riches, and He keeps giving. He gives and gives and gives to those who are good and to those who are not so good.

As we are fulfilling our human duty not for the sake of our anxiety but for the Lord and by the divine life, we live a life of no anxiety.

We go to work, we fulfil our duty, and we do what we need to do; however, we learn to do this by the divine life, not by our human life, which is a life of anxiety.

We kingdom people live not in tomorrow but always in today (Matt. 6:34) and we are not anxious about anything (Luke 12:25). Let tomorrow be anxious for itself; we are not anxious for tomorrow but we take care of our responsibility today.

Lord Jesus, we love You and we want to live for You today. Amen, Lord, we are here on earth for God. We are not here for ourselves. We give ourselves to You. Whether we study or work, we want to fulfil our duty and live for the Lord! Amen, Lord, we exercise our spirit to live one spirit with You today. We don’t want to do anything for the sake of our anxiety; we exercise to live by the divine life, a life that knows no anxiety! Hallelujah, the divine life in our spirit has no anxiety, and we can live a life free of anxiety today! Amen, Lord, we study, work, and take care of many practical matters not for the sake of our anxiety but to fulfil our duty, knowing that the Lord is the One who cares for us and who provides! We trust in You, Lord, in all things, and we simply do our duty! We are not anxious for tomorrow; we live for Christ today! Amen, Lord, we do not live in tomorrow but always in today, for Christ is new, living, and fresh to us today!

We fulfil our Duty and Trust in our Heavenly Father, for He knows our Needs and Cares for us

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Christ. Eph. 1:3 Therefore do not be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself; sufficient for the day is its own evil. Matt. 6:34

In this portion of Matthew 6:19-34 the Lord Jesus speaks not only of riches or money, but also of our heart being for the Lord; He wants us to realise that, on one hand, we need to fulfil our duty, and on the other hand, we need to trust in the Lord, for He cares for us.

All the people around us anxiously seek many things; we, the kingdom people, have a heavenly Father who knows that we need all these things, and He is the One who provides for us (Matt. 6:32).

On our side, we fulfill our duty to study, work, take care of the chores we have, and fulfill our responsibility humanly.

But we do all this not for the sake of our anxiety but with the realisation that our heavenly Father takes are of us in every way.

But take note of this: He who sows sparingly shall also sparingly reap; and he who sows with blessings shall also with blessings reap; each one as he has purposed in his heart, not out of sorrow or out of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Cor. 9:6-7People around us are filled with anxiety, and because they are so anxious about this and that, they do many things that are out of the ordinary and even crazy.

But we realise that, if we worry about this or that, nothing comes of it, for our anxiety helps no one.

As we come to the Lord in His word and read the highest standard of the kingdom of the heavens in Matthew 5-7, we do not worry about all these things, for we know that we have the highest life, the life of our heavenly Father, in us.

The life and nature of our Father enable us to fulfil the highest moral requirements (Matt. 5:48); we shall be perfect EVEN AS our heavenly Father is perfect. It is not by our perfecting ourselves, it is not by our trying harder, and it is not by improving; it is by the divine life.

Humanly, we fulfil our duty, but with no anxiety. We study, we work, and we take care of many things, but we do this by contacting the Lord to live by His life, a life of no anxiety.

And the money we receive, the material possessions that we have, and the riches we may obtain, we learn to give. The Lord loves a cheerful giver, and He Himself is a cheerful Giver (2 Cor. 9:7).

So we keep what we need for the covering of our human necessities, and we give to the Lord for His interest, to the poor, to the needy saints, and to the Lord’s servants.

As we give, we invest in the heavenly bank. We choose not to be idle or sloppy; we are diligent and industrious, but with no anxiety.

We fulfil our duty and trust in our heavenly Father, for He cares for us.

A great principle in our Christian life is the matter of giving; we give not only spiritual food to others but also material things, money, and possessions. The more we give to others, the more we can grow in life.

The more we give to others, the more the Lord will give us. The more we give to others, the more we invest in the spiritual bank.

The kind of person who grows in life is one who is diligent yet does not use his surplus for his anxiety.

We can testify from our experience that, we may have put some money aside “for rainy days,” instead of giving to the Lord, and the Lord had a way to cause this money to “evaporate.”

And He said to His disciples, Therefore I say to you, Do not be anxious for your life, what you should eat; nor for your body, what you should put on; For the life is more than food, and the body more than clothing...And which of you by being anxious can add a cubit to his stature? If then you cannot do even the least, why are you anxious about the rest? Luke 12:22-23, 25-26We can also testify that we may have given the Lord two years to be in the full-time training, and then we may have served for a while, and even though we did not have much outwardly, the Lord has taken great care of us.

And when we had to get a job after the training, as we were searching for a job without anxiety but trusting in the heavenly Father who cares for us, we have experienced His care in providing a job.

We can testify in the matter of finding a spouse that, when we give the Lord the first place, when we care for His interest on the earth and we give ourselves to Him to serve Him in the Body, the Lord has given us the best spouse for His economy.

Thank the Lord that, concerning our living, we have our heavenly Father Himself to take care of us.

As He takes care of our material needs, He dispenses His element into us, and we experience the divine dispensing through the Father’s care for our physical necessities (Matt. 6:32-33; John 16:27; Eph. 1:3).

On our side, we fulfill our duty and we trust in our heavenly Father; on His side, He cares for us, and He dispenses Himself into us.

Wow, even as we fulfil our duty before the Lord and with the Lord, even as we experience His care outwardly, we can enjoy His divine dispensing! How rich our Father’s care is for us!

Yes, the days are evil, and it is sufficient for the day its own evil, but we can redeem the time by fulfilling our duty and opening to the Lord and trusting in Him, and He dispenses Himself into us to meet all our needs! Amen!

Lord Jesus, we exercise our spirit to fulfil our duty and we trust in our heavenly Father to provide for us. Amen, Lord, all these things that we need, our heavenly Father knows that we need them! Thank You, dear Father, for knowing all our needs. Thank You for providing for all our needs. Thank You for Your rich care for us. We exercise our spirit to contact You. We exercise our whole being to be diligent and industrious in fulfilling our duty. We refuse to worry, for there’s no anxiety in the divine life in our spirit! Amen, Lord, we exercise to give to others, not keeping any surplus for ourselves. Grow in us. Meet all our needs. You see what we need. We open to You. Hallelujah, concerning our living, we have our heavenly Father Himself to take care of us, as we fulfil our duty! Praise the Lord, as our heavenly Father takes care of our material needs, He dispenses His element into us, and we experience the divine dispensing through the Father’s care for our physical necessities!

To live on this earth for God, you must finish your education. But as you are studying and completing your education, you must be different from the worldly people. The worldly ones study for the sake of their anxiety; you should not study for anxiety but to fulfill your duty. If you do not see this point, this portion [in Matthew 6:19-34] will simply be a legal matter to you. After a number of years many of our young people will have college degrees. I believe that under the Lord’s sovereign blessing, many riches will come in. At that time you will need to remember that you have gone to school not for anxiety but to do your duty…Your duty is to give, to store up treasures in heaven…Learn to give and store up treasures in heaven. Transfer your treasures from the earth to the heavens. In this way you will not be a millionaire on earth but a millionaire in the heavens…Be a good giver according to the life and nature of your heavenly Father. This is the meaning of this portion of the Word.

Yes brother. We need to live according to our Father’s life & nature.

Our heavenly Father’s life & nature is both righteous & loving, and this love & righteousness is Christ.

As a consequence of Christ’s love & righteousness, we are the living righteousness of God walking on Earth, those who are empowered to keep the new law of the kingdom of heavens by our Father’s life & nature.

Amen, anxiety is of the human life not of the divine life.

We should not be anxious for we have our all inclusive Heavenly Father who takes care of us in every way. We should instead focus on our duty to grow in life and store our treasures in heaven.

Anxiety and sloppiness will only delay our growth in life which is why it is important to study and give to various purposes.

Lord may we be those who are diligent and labor to fulfill our duty. You do not know anxiety, we trust in You for everything

Deuteronomy 1:17 “you shall not fear the face of man, for judgment is God’s. And the case that is too hard for you, you shall bring to me and I will hear it”

Praise the Lord that He is able to take care of our hard situations. We don’t need to stress or be annoyed because we can pass our stress and anxiety to the Lord who will take care of us. No problem is too big for the Lord. Amen! Hallelujah!

Dear brother, Our heavenly Father knows our need and will take care of our living, our physical necessities as we diligently fulfill our duty in our human living.

Our studying and working is not for the purpose of taking care of our anxiety but of storing up treasures in heaven as we learn to give according to the surplus we have.

O Father, thank You for Your divine dispensing as You meet our daily needs. Thank You for today. May we not be anxious for tomorrow as we store up riches in the heavenly bank that we may grow in the divine life!
