Walk in Christ by Walking according to the Spirit and by the Spirit to Enjoy Grace

As therefore you have received the Christ, Jesus the Lord, walk in Him. Col. 2:6

As believers in Christ, we have received the Christ, Jesus the Lord, and now we need to walk in Him; to walk in Christ is to walk according to the spirit and by the Spirit, for the all-inclusive Spirit dwells in our spirit to be our enjoyment today. Hallelujah!

This week in our morning revival we come to the topic of, Governing Principles That We Need to See and Experience in Order to Possess Christ as the Good Land.

God promised the good land to Abraham and to his seed, and he had to walk in the land, for every part of the land that he walked on, became his.

We need to walk in Christ and enjoy Christ, experience Christ, and partake of Christ, for every portion of Christ that we enjoy and partake of becomes ours as our inheritance.

Just as God gave the land to Abraham and to his seed, so today we as the seed of Abraham inherit all that Christ is and has by exercising our spirit and living in the mingled spirit.

First, we need to see the land; we need to ask the Lord to grant us a vision of the all-inclusive Christ as our portion of the good land.

What we see, we will also enter into, and we will possess. The more we see Christ, the more we see the all-inclusiveness of Christ, the more we partake of His riches.

After seeing the all-inclusiveness and extensiveness of Christ, we will walk in Him. See Him and walk in Him.

We have been rooted in Christ, and now we need to walk in Him. Hallelujah!

As believers in Christ, it is our privilege and responsibility to partake of the rich Christ that has been allotted to us.

Day after day we can spend time with the Lord and behold Him, be infused with Him, and partake of His riches.

Then, after being filled with Him, we can take possession of Him, and what He is becomes ours in spirit.

May we realize that the good land is a type of the all-inclusive Christ who today is the life-giving Spirit with our spirit, and may we be those who daily choose to live in the mingled spirit and walk by the spirit in our daily living.

Brothers and sisters, what we see of Christ becomes ours, and we need to walk in Him.

He is the good land that has been allotted to us, to each one of us, for us to partake of and enjoy in our spirit.

Now we simply need to take possession of Him by walking in Him, for every step that we take in Christ will bring us into the enjoyment of our allotted portion.

What a rich Christ we have!

He is exhaustless and all-inclusive, and we can see Him, walk in Him, and take possession of the good land in our spirit!

Walk in Christ by Walking according to the Spirit to Enjoy His Riches Daily

The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you. 2 Tim. 4:22 The Spirit Himself witnesses with our spirit that we are children of God. Rom. 8:16 But I say, Walk by the Spirit and you shall by no means fulfill the lust of the flesh. Gal. 5:16Thank the Lord that we, the believers in Christ, have received the Christ, Jesus the Lord; He has been given to us at the time of our regeneration, and now we simply need to walk in Him (Col. 2:6).

On one hand, Christ has been given to us as our God-allotted portion (Col. 1:12); on the other hand, we need to walk in Him to take possession of the good land.

What does it mean to walk in Christ?

To walk is to live, act, behave, and have our being; we need to live, act, behave, and have our being in Christ.

Just as the children of Israel were allotted a portion of the good land and had to live there, do everything there, have their being there, work there, and just be there, so we have been allotted a portion of Christ and we need to enjoy Him!

Today the good land is Christ as the all-inclusive Spirit (Gal. 3:14) who dwells in our spirit (2 Tim. 4:22; Rom. 8:16) to be our enjoyment and our everything.

The good land today is in our spirit, for the Lord as the Spirit is in our spirit and with our spirit.

We need to know this and see that Christ as the Spirit is with our spirit to be the reality of the good land.

Also, we need to walk in this land, walk in Christ, by walking according to the spirit in order to enjoy the riches of Christ and take possession of our allotted portion of the good land.

Christ is all-inclusive, rich, and extensive; we need to walk in Christ by walking according to the spirit so that we may enjoy the unsearchable riches of Christ.

Gal. 5:16 speaks of walking by the Spirit so that we may by no means fulfil the lust of the flesh.

When we walk by the Spirit, we spontaneously enjoy Christ and not fulfil the lusts of the flesh.

This Spirit is the Holy Spirit mingled with our spirit. When we turn to the Lord and exercise our spirit, we contact the Holy Spirit mingled with our spirit.

We need to walk according to the mingled spirit day by day, having our being and our walking regulated by the Holy Spirit from within our spirit.

If we do not do this, by default we walk according to the flesh and in the flesh.

According to the context [of Galatians 5], the Spirit [v. 16] must be the Holy Spirit, who dwells in and mingles with our regenerated spirit. To walk by the Spirit is to have our walk regulated by the Holy Spirit from within our spirit, … in contrast to having our walk regulated by the law in the realm of our flesh. The flesh is the uttermost expression of the fallen tripartite man (Gen. 6:3), and the Spirit is the ultimate realization of the processed Triune God (John 7:39). Because of Christ’s redemption and the Spirit’s work of regeneration, we who have received God’s dispensing can walk by the Spirit, by the processed Triune God, instead of by the flesh, by our fallen being. Paul wrote this book not only to rescue the distracted Galatian believers from the law, on the negative side, but also, on the positive side, to bring them into the realization that the believers have the all-inclusive life-giving Spirit in their spirit that they may live, walk, and have their being in this Spirit. Gal. 5:16, footnote 2, Recovery Version BibleThe flesh is the totality of our fallen being and the uttermost expression of the fallen tripartite man (Gen. 6:3).

The Spirit, however, is the ultimate realization of the processed Triune God (John 7:39), and this Spirit is with our spirit today.

We daily have a choice of either walking in the flesh or walking by the Spirit, walking according to the spirit, that is, the mingled spirit.

We have been redeemed and regenerated by the Lord, and we are now under the divine dispensing day by day so that we may walk by the Spirit, by the consummation of the processed Triune God, instead of walking by the flesh, our fallen being.

We need to be rescued and delivered from walking according to the flesh or the law and be brought into a daily walk in Christ by walking according to the spirit.

On the negative side, we need to be delivered from walking in the flesh and according to the law; on the positive side, we need to realize that we have the all-inclusive life-giving Spirit in our spirit so that we may live, walk, and have our being in this Spirit.

We can pray this matter to the Lord and, throughout the day, come to Him again and again to contact Him, opening to Him and walking according to the Spirit simply by uttering short and living prayers to Him. We can tell the Lord,

Lord Jesus, we want to walk in Christ by walking according to the spirit today. Thank You for coming into our spirit to be the all-inclusive, life-giving Spirit as the reality of the good land. Hallelujah, we have received Christ, Jesus the Lord, and now we can walk in Christ by walking according to the spirit! Amen, Lord Jesus, we exercise our spirit to contact You. Cause us to see and realize that the all-inclusive life-giving Spirit is with our spirit. We want to live, walk, and have our being in the Spirit. Save us and deliver us from walking in the flesh and according to the law. Bring us into our spirit again and again. Oh Lord, we want to live, act, behave, and have our being in our spirit so that we may enjoy the unsearchable riches of the all-inclusive Christ who is the life-giving Spirit in and with our spirit!

Walk by the Spirit to Enjoy the Grace of God and have the Righteous Requirements of the Law Fulfilled in us

That the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the spirit. Rom. 8:4

Rom. 8:4 is another verse speaking of the need to walk according to the spirit and by the Spirit. If we walk by the Spirit, we will no longer fulfil the lusts of the flesh but even more, the righteous requirements of the law are fulfilled in us.

It doesn’t say here that, if we walk by the Spirit we fulfil the requirements of the law but that these are spontaneously fulfilled in us if and when we walk by the Spirit.

It is like saying that, if we get in an airplane, we will spontaneously overcome the law of gravity, for the airplane does everything for us.

When we are in our mingled spirit, when we walk in Christ by walking by the Spirit, the righteous requirement of the law is unconsciously fulfilled in us by the inward working of the Spirit of life.

But I say, Walk by the Spirit and you shall by no means fulfill the lust of the flesh. Gal. 5:16 If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. Gal. 5:25The Spirit of life is in us, working and operating, and as long as we turn to Him and walk by the Spirit, He will fulfil in us the righteous requirement of the law.

This is what God’s original intention is; He has a purpose to fulfill, but He doesn’t want us to consciously fulfill this purpose but rather, come to Him, be filled with Him and walk in Christ by walking according to the spirit, and His purpose will be fulfilled in us.

It is Christ who lives in us as the Spirit, and He fulfills His requirements as long as we walk by the Spirit.

To walk is to daily walk in our living in a general way; as long as we walk by the Spirit, the Lord lives in us and fulfils the righteous requirements of the law.

According to Romans 8, the requirements we need to fulfill in order that the law of the Spirit of life may work are: (1) to walk according to the Spirit (v. 4); (2) to mind the things of the Spirit—to set the mind on the spirit (vv. 5-6); (3) to put to death by the Spirit the practices of the body (v. 13); (4) to be led by the Spirit as sons of God (v. 14); (5) to cry to the Father in the spirit of sonship (v. 15); (6) to witness that we are the children of God (v. 16); and (7) to groan for the full sonship, the redemption of our body (v. 23).

May we be those who walk by the Spirit today so that we may enjoy the grace of God with our spirit (2 Tim. 4:22) and spontaneously have the righteous requirements of the law being fulfilled in us!

Our spirit is very important, especially as we live in the grievous days of the worsening of the degradation of the church.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ is with our spirit.

On one hand, we have a strong, loving, and sound spirit given to us by God, a spirit by which we can fan the gift of God into flame and suffer evil with the gospel according to the power of God and the Lord’s life-imparting grace (Phil. 1:6-10).

On the other hand, the Lord is with our spirit so that we may enjoy Him as grace in order to stand against the downward current of the decline of the church and carry out God’s economy through His indwelling Spirit (1:14) and equipping word (3:16-17). Amen!

Thank the Lord that the grace of God is with our spirit!

This eternal grace of God was given to us in eternity (2 Tim. 1:9) and can be enjoyed and appropriated by us in this age.

In the grievous days of the worsening of the church’s degradation, what is needed is the eternal grace of God, which was given to us in eternity (2 Tim. 1:9) and is to be appropriated by us in this age. This grace, which is in the indestructible life, is nothing less than Christ, the Son of God, who is the very embodiment of the divine life, dwelling and living in our spirit. We need to exercise our spirit to enjoy the riches of this Christ (Eph. 3:8) as the sufficient grace (2 Cor. 12:9). Thus we may live Him as our godliness (1 Tim. 4:7-8) for the building up of the church as His testimony, bearing all the divine realities (truths) according to God’s economy. 2 Tim. 4:22, footnote 2, Recovery Version BibleThis grace is nothing less than Christ Himself, who is the very embodiment of the divine life, dwelling in our spirit and living in our spirit.

Day by day we need to exercise our spirit to enjoy the riches of this all-inclusive Christ (Eph. 3:8) as the sufficient grace (2 Cor. 12:9).

As we do this, as we contact the Lord and live in spirit, we may live Him out as our godliness (1 Tim. 4:7-8) for the building up of the church as His testimony, bearing all the divine realities according to God’s economy.

To walk according to the spirit and by the Spirit (Gal. 5:16, 25) is the central and crucial point in the New Testament.

In our time with the Lord, personally and intimately, we need to open to the Lord and ask Him to make this real to us.

We need to cooperate with the Lord in prayer and by exercising our spirit to live Christ by walking according to the spirit so that we may walk in Christ in our daily life.

When we exercise our spirit and walk by the Spirit, we enjoy the riches of Christ, we spontaneously have the righteous requirements of the law fulfilled in us, and we have a life of godliness lived out of us. Praise the Lord!

Thank You, Lord, for giving us a strong, loving, and sound spirit so that we can fan the gift of God into flame and suffer evil with the gospel according to the power of God and the Lord’s life-imparting grace. Hallelujah for our spirit, a spirit that is mingled with the Lord as one spirit! Amen, Lord, we want to enjoy You as grace with our spirit. We want to enjoy You as grace to stand against the downward current of the decline of the church and carry out God’s economy through Your indwelling Spirit and equipping word! Amen, Lord, we come to You to contact You and enjoy You as grace with our spirit. Wow, grace is in the indestructible life to be everything to us for our enjoyment! Amen, Lord, we exercise our spirit to enjoy your riches as the sufficient grace for us in our daily life. We want to live in spirit and walk by the Spirit today!

We need to turn ourselves to the spirit all the time. This is the only way for us to enjoy Christ all the time. Perhaps you are about to quarrel with your wife or to say something to the brothers. Do not try to determine not to quarrel or to speak the best word. Turn yourself to the spirit. Spontaneously, you will know how to respond to your wife. You will also know the right way to talk to your children or to fellowship with the brothers. When you are in the spirit, you have a certain point of view; when you are in your mind, you have another point of view. You are the same person with the same environment, yet how you are depends upon where you are—in the spirit or in the mind.

The practical way to enjoy Christ is to simply turn yourself to the spirit all the time, remaining there to contact the Lord. There is no need for you to ask Him to help you or to do something for you. Just contact Him, look to Him, and give Him thanks, praises, adoration, and worship. Forget about your problems, weak points, and surroundings. Simply remain in the spirit to contact Him, looking to Him, thanking Him, praising Him, adoring Him, and worshipping Him. You will see the difference.

Learn to do one thing—turn yourself to the spirit all the time. Remain in the spirit to contact the Lord. You will see how much He will be to you. He will be whatever you need, such as peace, guidance, and wisdom. Our problem is that we are out of the spirit most of the time. We must realize the deceit of the enemy and watch and pray to always keep ourselves in the spirit. If we would ask the Lord to help us in anything, we should ask Him day and night, “Lord, help me to keep myself in the spirit. Help me to remain in the spirit. Lord, keep me in the spirit.” The Lord is so rich and unlimited, yet we cannot enjoy Him outside of the spirit. There is only one place and only one way by which we can enjoy Him; that is, we have to turn to the spirit and remain in our spirit, contacting Him all the time. We must do this all the time from morning to evening, looking to the Lord that we might be kept in spirit.

Amen! Wow, Christ (the sent one), Jesus (the son of God), and the Lord ( Who is Lord over all) is now in our spirit! Col. 2:6.

Now we need to walk in Him.

Today in His resurrection, the Lord is the life-giving Spirit in our spirit.

So the way for us to walk in Him is simply ‘to walk by the spirit’ Gal. 5:16.

Having been redeemed by Christ and regenerated by the Holy Spirit our walk – our living, acting, and behaving should be by the All-Inclusive, Life-giving Spirit – the reality of the good land – who indwells our spirit.

In this way we fulfill the central and crucial aspect of the New Testament.

Praise the Lord we are those who have Christ Jesus our Lord so that we may walk in Him, as the Life-giving Spirit, and not according to our fallen, human flesh.

Yes, in the house of God there are principles of life for all family members so that we can walk or live His life.

This kind of life cannot be by reasoning using our mind, but only by the all inclusive Spirit dwelling in us all the time.

Therefore, we can say that Jesus, the life giving Spirit, lives in me, but not I live.praise the Lord for the revelation of His Word.

We should walk, live, act and behave in Christ as our all-inclusive Spirit.

This is the central point of the New Testament.

To walk by the Spirit is to have our being regulated by the Holy Spirit in our spirit.

The Spirit in us spontaneously fulfills the righteous requirements of God when we walk according to Him.

We must believe that we have a strong, loving & sound spirit in us.

The Lord is with our spirit so that we may enjoy Him as grace and go against the downward trend of the church’s decline and serve God according to His New Testament economy.

“Grace” is nothing less than Christ Himself living & dwelling in our spirit. Hallelujah!

We are equipped to live Jesus as our godliness for the building up of the church, bearing the testimony & fragrance of Christ wherever we go.
