The young people’s conference in Lipowiec (Poland) was really encouraging. God revealed Himself to each one of us. What made a great impression upon me was Gen 2:21-24, which says,
21. And Jehovah God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh in its place.
22. And Jehovah God built the rib, which He had taken from the man, into a woman and brought her to the man.
23. And the man said, This time this is bone of my bones And flesh of my flesh; This one shall be called Woman Because out of Man this one was taken.
24. Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and shall cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
This portion has a crucial significance. Here Adam symbolizes Christ, Eve is a type of the church, and Adam’s sleep points to the crucifixion of Christ. When God put Adam to sleep, He took one of his ribs and built a woman out of it. When Christ died, the church began to be built. Now the church is the perfect building of Christ – she has come out of Him! This is why we, the Church, are the Bride of Christ! Praise The Lord for this!
What I also enjoyed is that in order to overflow with Christ unto others, we firstly need to be filled with Him. Let’s take a bottle as an example – you cannot pour water out of it if it is empty. In the same way we also need to drink Him ourselves in order to share Him with others.
This is only a tiny bit of the riches I enjoyed there, but if I was to write about everything, it would take me a really long time. [sharing from the recent young people’s conference in Poland by sister Ania]
What I enjoyed at the conference, is the fact that God has grafted “eternity” into man’s heart, which is a constant sense of purpose given to us by God – the sense which cannot be given by anything else. I rejoiced when I found out this fact, that nothing can satisfy man – only God can!!!
The second thing that I wanted to share is that the church is Christ in us. I did not see this before. Now I have seen clearly that there cannot be a group of people who call themselves “the church” if there is no Christ in them. The church is Christ in you and in me! 🙂 Amen!
