Our God is the God of all grace, Christ came in the flesh full of grace and reality, and the Spirit is the Spirit of grace; the entire Triune God is of grace, and today this grace is with our spirit (Gal. 6:18). What is grace? Grace is not merely unmerited favor that God gives […]
We can Receive and Flow out Grace by Turning to the Spirit and Enthroning the Lord
Being under God’s Covenant of Grace, we should Enjoy God by Exercising our Spirit
The experience of our father Abraham is very much related to our experience, and the things he learned in his experience with God are the things we should learn as well. In the book of Galatians we see how the Galatian believers received the gospel through the apostle Paul and his co-workers, believed into Christ, […]
Being Renewed in the Spirit of Our Mind and Living a Forgiving Life for the Body
How can we live a life for the building up of the Body of Christ? In Ephesians 4:17-32 we have many hints, some more outward and practical while others intrinsic and enjoyable, on how we can practically live a life for the carrying out of the work of the ministry, which is the building up […]
abiding in the Lord by giving thanks in everything and praying unceasingly
What does it really mean to “unceasingly pray”? Does it mean that you have to stop any other outward activity and spend 24/7 in prayer on your knees before God? This natural thought seems rather impractical and intangible, impossible to attain by a human being. Prayer is an activity of our spirit – our mingled spirit prays all the time. To pray is to use our spirit to fellowship with God. Our spirit is always willing, ready to pray, but we need to turn to our spirit and use our spirit to pray! Let us not quench the Spirit in our spirit but allow our spirit to be active all the time by praying unceasingly! [read more online]
I want to live according to the spirit! The Son of God is in my spirit! (2011 winter school)
We Christians, must reject our mind, emotions, and will, and take the Lord Jesus as our life! Amen! This doesn’t mean that we don’t need our emotions and will but that we need to put them under the control of the spirit! We need to turn to the Lord in every situation and He will show us the way – we will have a feeling. I’m so vulnerable if I don’t turn to the Lord… but I want to live according to the spirit! every time you touch your spirit, it becomes stronger! (2011 winter school of truth)
I enjoyed all my time at this Winter School of Truth with all the saints, but some of the most precious times were in the group time and in our room time before bed. It was so encouraging to see young people my age touching their spirit, praying, and shepherding one another. The brothers have shared about the need for Samuels in Europe, and what I saw that there were young men who will be beacons of light in their cities and schools, all over Europe! to not lose our inner feeling we need to turn to our spirit! (2011 winter school of truth)
It was great experience for me to be again at the Winter School of the Truth in London, UK. Through the messages I realized that my spirit was so deadened… Brother Tom shared that if we touch a hot object, we can lose our feeling or sense of that part – the skin can become callus. If we keep a continual contact with the world and keep touching it, we can also lose our feeling or sense, just like the people today. So it’s very easy to lose our feeling…. To not lose our sense we have to deny our self and our soul life (old man), and we need to turn to the spirit!
