Let us pray for the binding of the blinding work of the god of this age

July 9, 2021 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled in those who are perishing, in whom the god of this age has blinded the thoughts of the unbelievers that the illumination of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine on them. For we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your slaves for Jesus’ sake. Because the God who said, Out of darkness light shall shine, is the One who shined in our hearts to illuminate the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Cor. 4:3-6

Dear saints, let us pray that the saints would learn to pray for the binding of the blinding work of the god of this age so that the gospel of the glory of Christ might shine into the hearts of many unbelievers (2 Cor. 4:3-6 and notes 3-1, 4-1, and 4-4). Thirty years ago Brother […]

Let us pray for the saints to realize that preaching the gospel is to be fishers of men

June 14, 2021 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

And when they heard these things, they became silent and glorified God, saying, Then to the Gentiles also God has given repentance unto life. Acts 11:18

Dear saints, let us pray that the saints would realize that preaching the gospel is to be fishers of men, which requires contacting people patiently, again and again until they are “caught” unto life and brought out of the world into the kingdom of the heavens (Matt. 4:18-20; Luke 5:9-10 and note 10-2; Acts 11:18). […]

Signs of the End of this age: Preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom and Israel being Restored

November 24, 2020 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

So also you, when you see all these things, know that it is near, at the doors. Matt. 24:33

As those who love the Lord and yearn for His return, we need to see the signs of the Lord’s second and imminent coming; the greatest sign at the end of this age is the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom, and another sign is the restoration of the nation of Israel. There are […]

Preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom and Spreading the Truths of the Lord’s Recovery

...For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of Jehovah, as water covers the sea. Isa. 11:9

Today we live in the age of the preaching of the gospel, and the spreading of the truths of the Lord’s recovery – the full and complete gospel of the kingdom – will be a preparation for the Lord’s coming back to bring the recovery and restoration both to Israel and to the entire creation. […]

World History in the Church Age is a Four-horse Race: the Gospel, War, Death, and Famine

July 16, 2020 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

...behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome so that He may open the scroll and its seven seals. Rev. 5:5

We need to have a vision of world history from Christ’s ascension to the end of this age and realize there’s a four-horse race continuing through the entire age of the church until Christ’s return (see Rev. 4-5). In Rev. 5 John saw a scroll written within and on the back, and this was sealed […]

We need to Stand Firm in one Spirit with one Soul Striving Together for the Gospel

August 1, 2019 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

...I have no one like-souled who will genuinely care for what concerns you; for all seek their own things, not the things of Christ Jesus. Phil. 2:20-21

We need to conduct ourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, that is, we need to stand firm in one spirit, with one soul striving together along with the faith of the gospel (Phil. 1:27); this is to experience Christ. When we enjoy Christ and experience Him in our daily life, we […]
