The Principle of the Sabbath is that we First Enjoy God and Rest in Him, then we Work

November 4, 2016 by aGodMan 3 Comments

Man’s first day being a day of rest established a divine principle — God first supplies us with enjoyment, and then we work together with Him; we need to be one with God in His work (1 Cor. 3:9; 2 Cor. 6:1); this requires that we enjoy Him. #ExoCS4, outline 11

After seeing who are the workers of the tabernacle and what are their qualifications, today we want to see how God rested and was refreshed on the Sabbath, and therefore He charged that His people would keep His Sabbaths (Exo. 31:13-16); today we want to see what it means to keep the principle of the […]

Being Willing to be Emptied and Freshly Filled with the Spirit to Build up the Church

November 3, 2016 by aGodMan 9 Comments

Every day and all the time we need to be freshly filled with the Triune God through prayer; the Christian life is a life of prayer; if we are short of prayer, we will be short of the Spirit (Col. 4:2). #ExoCS4, outline 11

In order for us to do the building work of God’s house, we need to be wise in heart, receive wisdom, understanding, and grace from God, and we need to be stirred up in our heart to do the noble work of building up the church; above all, we need to be emptied and unloaded […]

Being Fully for God’s House and Coordinated with the Saints to Build up the Church

November 2, 2016 by aGodMan 6 Comments

Exodus 35:34 says that both Bezalel and Oholiab did the work of teaching. But I believe that most of the teaching was done by Oholiab. This indicates that in the building up of the church there is the need of adequate teaching. We need some to be today’s Oholiab to teach the saints concerning God’s building according to the knowledge, understanding, wisdom, and skill received from the master builder. Witness Lee, LS Exodus

The desire of God’s heart is to have a dwelling place on earth with man, and we as believers in Christ are God’s people who are doing the work of building up God’s house – we are co-workers and co-builders with Christ, building the church as the dwelling place of God! The work of the […]

Having the Wisdom, Understanding, and Knowledge of the Spirit to Build up the Church

November 1, 2016 by aGodMan 7 Comments

Only the Spirit of God can build His own dwelling place through us. Zech. 4:6 And he answered and spoke to me, saying, This is the word of Jehovah to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says Jehovah of hosts.

As believers in Christ we are both the materials for God’s building and those who cooperate with the Lord to be co-builders with Him doing the noble work of building up the church with God Himself as our wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and skill. We see this in picture in Exodus, where God gave Moses the […]

Being in the Shadow of God’s Grace and under His Light, with a Noble and Pure Heart

October 31, 2016 by aGodMan 6 Comments

Exo. 31:2-3 See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom and with understanding and with knowledge and with all kinds of workmanship.

God gave Moses the pattern of the tabernacle with all its details, and He chose someone called Bezalel to be a “master builder” and lead the building up and setting up of the tabernacle. Paul also referred to himself as a “wise master builder” in 1 Cor. 3:10. This week in our Crystallization-Study of Exodus […]

Becoming Pillars in God’s Building to be an Entrance for others Deeper into God

October 29, 2016 by aGodMan 4 Comments

Rev. 3:12 He who overcomes, him I will make a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall by no means go out anymore, and I will write upon him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which descends out of heaven from My God, and My new name.

In our prayerful study of the tabernacle with its furnishings, we realize that we need to become pillars in the Triune God, as signified by the nine pillars in the tabernacle, so that we may be one with Christ for many to enter into God’s building and even enter deeper into God Himself. This whole […]

God’s Building is Covered by Christ in His Humanity and Redemption for our Protection

October 28, 2016 by aGodMan 4 Comments

1 Pet. 1:18-19 Knowing that it was not with corruptible things, with silver or gold, that you were redeemed from your vain manner of life handed down from your fathers, But with precious blood, as of a Lamb without blemish and without spot, the blood of Christ.

The foundation and base of the church is the redemption of Christ (as typified by the sockets of silver in which the boards of the tabernacle were standing), the materials for the building up of the church is the humanity of Jesus (typified by the acacia wood) and the divine nature with the divine life […]
