Being Encamped in Array in God’s Sovereignty with Christ and the Church as our Center

February 25, 2019 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

Israel’s Encamping in Array Typifying God’s Redeemed People Being Consummated as the New Jerusalem

In Numbers two we see how the children of Israel were encamped in array as an army, each tribe by its own standard, all facing the center. After the numbering in ch. 1, the children of Israel were put in an array around the tabernacle – this is God’s first step of formation of the […]

Christ is the Testimony of God and the Center, Leader, Way, and Goal of God’s People

February 20, 2019 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

The central thought of Numbers is that Christ is the meaning of life, the testimony, the center of God’s people, and the Leader, the way, and the goal of their journey and fighting.

As the One who is the meaning of the life of God’s people, Christ the testimony of God, and He is the center of God’s people, the Leader, the way, and the goal. In order for us to be formed as an army to fight for God’s interest on earth we need to take Christ […]

Christ is God’s Speaking, the Effulgence of God’s Glory and the Impress of His Substance

September 12, 2018 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

Heb. 1:2-3 God...Has at the last of these days spoken to us in the Son, whom He appointed Heir of all things, through whom also He made the universe; who, being the effulgence of His glory and the impress of His substance...

The book of Hebrews as an exposition of Leviticus starts by saying that Christ is the speaking of God, the image of the invisible God, the effulgence of God’s glory and the impress of God’s substance (see Heb. 1:1-3). Our Christ is all-inclusive, and in the book of Leviticus we see many types, figures, and […]

Seeing that the Cross is the Center of the Universe and the Principle of the Cross

October 2, 2017 by aGodMan 17 Comments

Other than Christ Himself, nothing in God’s plan has a higher place than the cross. Christ and the cross are at the center of God’s plan. Christ is the center of God’s purpose, and the cross is the center of God’s procedure. Christ is the purpose of God’s plan, and the cross is the procedure of God’s plan. Everything in God’s plan takes Christ as its purpose and is carried out for Christ, and everything in God’s plan takes the cross as its procedure and is carried out through the cross. Hence, Christ is the center of God’s purpose in His plan, and the cross is the center of the procedure in God’s plan. God has determined to do everything in His plan in Christ, and God has determined to do everything in His plan through the cross. Without Christ, God’s plan has no purpose, and without the cross, God’s plan has no procedure. Witness Lee, Christ and the Cross, ch. 11

One of the major pieces of furniture in the temple seen by Ezekiel in a vision was the altar, which typifies the cross; the cross is the center of the universe, and the principle of the cross is termination, death. As those who love the Lord and pursue Him, we all know how crucial the […]

Having the Increase of Christ Requires that we have the One Accord, the Master Key

August 8, 2016 by aGodMan 4 Comments

The one thing that should be focused on, stressed, and ministered in the Lord’s recovery is the eternal economy of God (1 Tim. 1:3-4). The content of God’s eternal economy is Christ; actually, Christ Himself in His full ministry of three stages is the divine economy (John 1:14; 1 Cor. 15:45b; Rev. 1:4; 3:1; 4:5; 5:6). God’s desire is to have a recovery purely and wholly of the person of Christ (Col. 1:17b, 18b; 2 Cor. 12:2; 2:10; 3:3). Witness Lee

After seeing the increase of Christ as His continuation in the gospel of John, in the book of Acts, and in the ministering life, this week we are enjoying the increase of Christ for the increase and spread of the church through the one accord with prayer, the Spirit, the word, and the homes. We […]

Not Usurping God but Praying and Being According to God’s Heart and for His Economy

March 31, 2016 by aGodMan 4 Comments

The children of Israel had no thought of or concern for God’s economy, and their bringing out the Ark indicated that they were usurping God, even forcing Him to go out with them for their safety, peace, rest, and profit; in principle, we do the same thing whenever we pray for our prosperity without any consideration of God’s economy; instead of usurping God, we should pray, live, and be persons according to God’s heart and for His economy; whenever man’s need replaces God’s testimony, there is degradation. Witness Lee

The Lord within us all is aspiring to take us on from the tabernacle church life in the wilderness of the soul to the temple church life with Christ as the reality of the good land in our spirit! There’s a hunger and a thirst in us from something higher in the church life that […]

Being Brought into the Realm of God’s Economy for Christ to be Our Everything

Being Brought into the Realm of God's Economy for Christ to be Our Everything

In this universe there’s a throne, the throne of God, and God sits on the throne administrating the whole universe. We need to be in spirit as the apostle John was, and we will see the throne set up in heaven (Rev. 4:2). Don’t believe what you see, and don’t think that man can do […]
