Being Mingled with God to be Transformed into Precious Stones Built up Together

October 18, 2016 by aGodMan 7 Comments

As components of the church, the believers, who were created from dust (Gen. 2:7), must be transformed in their human nature by and with the divine nature through the working of the Spirit (2 Cor. 3:3, 18) to become precious stones for God’s eternal building (Matt. 16:18; John 1:42; 1 Pet. 2:5; Rev. 21:18-21); the Christian life is a life of transformation — daily God is seeking to transform us (Rom. 12:2-3; 2 Cor. 4:16). Witness Lee

The breastplate that the high priest had to wear on top of the ephod had twelve precious stones on which the names of the twelve tribes of Israel were engraved; this signifies that we as God’s redeemed and transformed people are being built together to become one entity. The high priest wore the building of […]

The Breastplate is Central Point of the Priesthood: God’s Leading is in the Church

October 17, 2016 by aGodMan 3 Comments

The breastplate being borne upon Aaron’s heart for a memorial before Jehovah signifies the entire church as one built-up entity being borne upon Christ’s loving heart for a memorial, a pleasing remembrance, before God (Exo. 28:29). Witness Lee

This week in our crystallization-study of Exodus we come to the matter of the breastplate – the central and ultimate point of the priesthood. In Exodus 28, when the priesthood is introduced, there’s a great emphasis on the garments the priest wore; these garments signify our living as priests to God – our living must […]

Being Transformed, Transparent, Enlightened, Inscribed, and Completed by Christ

The breastplate is the building up of the Body life and the means for us to know God’s will concerning His people; then we will receive the Lord’s judgment of what we have to do or what we must not do; we will know the Lord’s way, and the whole church will go on according to the judgment given by the Lord. Witness Lee

Our God is a living and true God; He is life, light, holiness, and righteousness, and He is a God that wants to be dispensed into man to make man one with Him for His corporate expression and representation in the universe. Throughout the Bible, both in the Old and the New Testament, God has […]

Being Transformed, Transparent Precious Stones with Christ Inscribed into our Heart

As priests to God, we believers must spend time with God to be infused with Him and filled with His Spirit so that, when we meet others, we would bring God to man and man to God. In the Old Testament type we see that the high priest had to wear a certain set of […]

12 Precious Stones on the Breastplate: We are Being Transformed, Mingled, and Built up

July 14, 2015 by aGodMan 1 Comment

The twelve precious stones on the breastplate in Exo. 28:17-21, on which the names of the twelve tribes of Israel were engraved, signify all the redeemed and transformed people of God built together to become one entity.

The central and ultimate point of the priesthood, and the central item of the priestly garments was the breastplate of judgement (see Exo. 28:15-30). As priests to God today we need to see what this breastplate signifies and how can it be applied to our Christian life. The breastplate of judgement was made of gold, […]

Receiving God’s Leading in the Meetings of the Church as we Exercise our Spirit

July 13, 2015 by aGodMan 1 Comment

God reveals what we should do through the church, by the church, and with the church; the church is God’s leading, for the church bears the divine alphabet by which God makes known His leading. Witness Lee

The Lord’s desire is to recover the universal priesthood of all His people: He wants that all the believers in Christ would be His priests, those who spend much time with God to be infused and filled with God, and who function as priests of the gospel. But have you ever wondered, what is the […]
