The Story of the Kingdom Gene: its Sowing, Growing, and Developing into a Harvest

For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's cultivated land, God's building. 1 Cor. 3:9

God’s goal is the full development of the kingdom of God, and the New Testament shows us the sowing, growing, propagation, development, and full harvest of the kingdom seed, the kingdom gene, for God to have His kingdom in full. Hallelujah!

What the Bible tells us is that God desires to gain a kingdom on the earth among men and with man; the way He does it, however, is not by forcing Himself on man but by sowing Himself as the seed of the kingdom in man. Wow!

The intrinsic element of the entire teaching of the New Testament is that the Triune God has been incarnated in order to be sown as the kingdom seed, the kingdom gene, into His people to grow in them and develop into a kingdom.

The kingdom of God doesn’t suddenly come from the heavens, nor is the kingdom of God something that is only with God and one day it will be manifested on the earth.

When the Lord Jesus came, He preached the gospel in order for sinners to repent for the kingdom of God.

When the disciples continued the Lord’s gospel preaching, they similarly preached the gospel of the kingdom.

The Lord Jesus even said that, when this gospel of the kingdom will be preached to the whole inhabited earth, then the end will come.

Today the gospel has been preached all over the earth, but what about the gospel of the kingdom: was this gospel preached? What is the gospel of the kingdom?

We see in every Gospel that the Lord Jesus likened Himself to a Sower coming to sow the seed, and the seed grows, develops, and bears fruit.

This is the kingdom of God. In our concept, a kingdom is a realm where a particularly great and powerful king rules and reigns, and everyone fears him and he reigns with power.

But the kingdom of God is a realm of life; it is the realm of the divine life, even Christ Himself sowing Himself as the seed of life into His people.

We believers in Christ are not part of an outward kingdom called “God’s kingdom;” rather, we are inwardly part of the kingdom of God, for the Triune God in humanity sowed Himself into our being and grows in us to become the kingdom of God.

Day by day we can cooperate with the Lord for His kingdom to grow, or we can delay the spreading of His kingdom in our being.

Many times at the end of the day we need to repent before the Lord for not giving Him the best cooperation for Him to grow and spread His kingdom in us.

We may have done this and that for ourselves, we may have accomplished this work or that thing for our family, but we may have not given the Lord more ground for Him to grow in us and become the kingdom of God in full.

The Story of the Kingdom Gene: its Sowing, Growing, and Developing into a Harvest

What God desires is to bring in His kingdom in man and among man, for His goal is the full development of the kingdom of God. How does He do it? It is in the way of life, in the organic way.

The New Testament shows us how God brings in His kingdom: in the Gospels there’s the sowing of the kingdom gene (the kingdom seed), in the Acts there’s the propagation and spreading, in the Epistles there’s the growing, and in Revelation, we have the harvest with the full development and even the fullest development. Wow!

When we read the New Testament from the viewpoint of the kingdom of God being sown as a seed and growing, we will be amazed to see what the divine revelation tells us.

In the Gospels, we have the Sowing of the Seed of the Kingdom – the Kingdom Gene

Listen! Behold, the sower went out to sow...The sower sows the word. Mark 4:3, 14

In the Gospels we see the sowing of the seed of the kingdom (Mark 4:3, 14; Matt. 9:35).

The Lord Jesus as the Triune God incarnated came forth to sow Himself into God’s chosen people by His speaking, His preaching and teaching.

When the Lord Jesus was on the earth, He did not only make miracles and heal the sick; He spoke!

He spoke the mysteries of the kingdom of God and by His speaking, He sowed Himself as the seed in those who heard Him. Some of the hearers rejected Him but some received Him and were open to Him.

When those who have been chosen by God heard the word of the Lord Jesus and received it, they received the kingdom gene, the kingdom seed.

This seed, this gene, is the incarnated God to sow Himself into man.

Wherever the Lord Jesus went on the earth, He sowed Himself as the seed of the kingdom into those who were around Him.

In the Acts, we have the Propagation and Spreading of the Kingdom Gene by Many Sowers

And the word of God grew, and the number of the disciples in Jerusalem multiplied greatly...But the word of God grew and multiplied. Acts 6:7; 12:24

In the book of Acts, we see not just one Sower but many sowers, the many disciples of Christ who have been regenerated by the divine seed and who now have become those who sow the kingdom seed into others.

In the Acts we have the propagation and spreading of this sowing by thousands of sowers who have received the gene of the kingdom (Acts 6:7; 12:24; 19:20).

There are now thousands of sowers who have the kingdom seed and who scatter this seed wherever they go!

When they were in Jerusalem, they preached the gospel in Jerusalem, and when they were persecuted and therefore scattered in many places, they sowed the kingdom gene there also. Hallelujah!

Today we are still in the book of Acts, for this book never ended; we are in the continuation of Acts.

Wherever we are, we who have the kingdom gene speak the word of God to scatter the seed of the kingdom everywhere.

By our words to those around us, we can speak Christ into them to sow the seed of the kingdom in them. Hallelujah!

We are like Christ – we are a little Christ today, filled with the kingdom seed, and we spread this seed to those around us.

The Christ in the heavens is joined to us and we are one with Him to scatter the seed of the kingdom everywhere so that the kingdom of God may come. Amen!

Lord Jesus, thank You for regenerating us with Your life and by Your living word. Hallelujah, we believers in Christ have the kingdom gene in us, and we today can speak to others to sow the seed of the kingdom into them! Amen, Lord, we want to be one with You in this today. We give ourselves to You to enjoy You, experience You, and be filled with You so that we may sow the seed of the kingdom into those around us. May Your kingdom come in us and may Your kingdom come through us! Oh Lord, may there be much scattering of the kingdom gene to those around us for Your kingdom to spread!

In the Epistles, we see the Growing of the Kingdom Gene

Seeing that His divine power has granted to us all things which relate to life and godliness, through the full knowledge of Him who has called us by His own glory and virtue. 2 Pet. 1:3

In the Epistles, we see the growing of the seed of the kingdom, the gene of the kingdom (1 Cor. 3:6, 9; 2 Pet. 1:3-7).

The kingdom seed which has been sown into many believers needs to grow; in the Epistles, we see how it goes and how we can cooperate for it to grow.

In 1 Cor. 3:6-9 in particular we see that we are God’s cultivated land, and those who serve are planting and watering, yet God gives the growth.

In 2 Pet. 1:3-11 we see the development and growth of the kingdom gene with many details.

God’s divine power has given to us all things which relate to life and godliness; this is the kingdom gene we received at the time of our regeneration.

Everything we need for the growth in life and for living out this life in godliness is in the divine gene, the divine seed, we have received.

God granted to us the precious and exceedingly great promises so that through these we might become partakers of the divine nature.

The divine nature is in the seed. When we escape the corruption which is in the world by lust, we partake of the divine nature.

And for this very reason, adding all diligence, we need to supply in our faith, virtue, and in virtue, knowledge, and in knowledge, self-control, and in self-control, endurance, and in endurance, godliness, and in godliness, brotherly love, and in brotherly love, love.

For these things, existing in us and abounding, growing, and developing, will constitute us neither idle nor unfruitful, bearing fruit unto the full knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

For he in whom these things are not present is blind, being short-sighted, having forgotten the cleansing of his past sins.

May we be more diligent to make our calling and selection firm, for in doing these things we shall by no means stumble, but rather, in this way, the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be richly and bountifully supplied to us.

There has to be a growth, a development, of the kingdom gene in us, and we can cooperate with this growth.

When we cooperate with the Lord for His growth in us, we will have a rich entrance into the eternal kingdom of the Lord on that day.

May we be those who cooperate with the Lord day by day, even moment by moment, so that the kingdom gene in us may grow, develop, spread, and reach maturity to become the kingdom of God in full.

Lord Jesus, grow in us. May the kingdom seed in us grow little by little, day by day. Spread in us. We want to cooperate with You for Your seed to grow in us. May there be a development of the divine seed in us until it reaches maturity and becomes the kingdom of God in full. Hallelujah, we can be diligent to cooperate with the Lord for the growth and development of the kingdom gene so that the kingdom of God may grow an spread in us! Amen, Lord, we want to have a rich entrance being bountifully supplied to us at Your coming. Make us Your overcomers today, those who live in the reality of the kingdom of God!

In the Millennium we see the Full Development of the Kingdom Gene with the Overcomers

These are they who have not been defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are they who follow the Lamb wherever He may go. These were purchased from among men [as] firstfruits to God and to the Lamb...And He who sat on the cloud thrust His sickle upon the earth, and the earth was reaped. Rev. 14:4, 16In the book of Revelation, we see the harvest of the kingdom seed, the kingdom gene, with the overcomers as the full development of the kingdom seed and the New Jerusalem as the fullest development.

In Rev. 14:4 we see the firstfruits and then in verse 15, we have the harvest.

If we today cooperate with the Lord for the growth of the kingdom seed in us, this seed will develop until it reaches its full development in the coming age.

The overcomers, the firstfruits spoken of in Rev. 14, are among those who will be the co-kings with Christ in the millennium.

In the next age of one thousand years, the millennium age, there will be some who are in the full development of the gene of the kingdom.

Many of those who have received the kingdom gene and have cooperated with the Lord will be co-kings with Christ.

They will rule and reign with Him for one thousand years.

The Father will be able to boast in these overcomers, for He has gained a group of people who have overcome the enemy, on the negative side, and have cooperated with Him to allow the kingdom gene to grow and develop unto maturity. Hallelujah!

We want to be among the co-kings in the next age, so we want to give the Lord our best cooperation today.

In the next age, the enemy will still be here, seeking to devour and damage many people, and God will pour out His judgment on the earth.

But even though Satan will instigate rebellion among the nations, he will not be able to touch the co-kings, the overcomers, for they will have been transformed by the kingdom gene.

Satan will have no ground in them, for all the rebellious element that was in their fallen humanity has been swallowed up by the kingdom gene.

May we allow the Lord to grow in us and swallow up any darkness and rebellion in us today.

May we give Him our cooperation for Him to make His home in our heart through faith, and may we be renewed in our mind so that we may be transformed in our soul (Eph. 3:16; Rom. 12:2; 2 Cor. 3:18).

We as the kingdom-gene people today want to let the Lord grow in us, develop in us, and grow unto maturity in us until we become the overcomers, those who overcome anything negative and who allow the kingdom seed to grow to the uttermost.

If we do this today, if by the Lord’s mercy, we cooperate with His growth in us, we will be the co-kings with Christ in the next age.

May we not allow the enemy to have any ground in us today by turning to our spirit all the time, living in the spirit, and contacting the Lord at all times in all things.

Lord Jesus, we aspire to be the overcomers, those who cooperate with You for the kingdom gene to grow in us unto maturity! Amen, Lord, grow in us today! May there be a steady and continual development of the seed of the kingdom of God in us until it becomes fully mature! We love You, Lord, and we want to cooperate with You today. Give us the experiences we need each day for us to grow in life unto maturity. May the kingdom gene grow in us and develop in us day by day. Oh Lord, we stand with You today. We stand with our spirit. We stand against Your enemy in our flesh, the self, in the natural man, and in the world. Hallelujah, we can overcome the enemy by the blood of the Lamb, by the word of our testimony, and by not loving our soul-life even unto death! Amen, Lord, make us the kingdom gene people who grow in life unto maturity for the full development of the kingdom gene in us! We aspire and earnestly desire to be the co-kings with Christ in the millennium!

The New Jerusalem is the Fullest Development of the Kingdom Gene

And I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. Rev. 21:2 ...and they will reign forever and ever. Rev. 22:5

In Rev. 21-22, we see the New Jerusalem, God’s eternal kingdom, in the new heaven and the new earth.

The New Jerusalem is the fullest development of the kingdom seed, the kingdom gene, which was sown by Jesus the Nazarene in the four Gospels (Rev. 21:2; 22:1, 3, 5).

Hallelujah, in the new heaven and new earth, God will have an eternal kingdom with the New Jerusalem as the capital!

The New Jerusalem will be after the millennial kingdom, and this city will be a composition of kings who will rule over the fully restored nations.

God will gain His eternal kingdom as the full development of the gene sown in the Gospels by the Lord Jesus, the Triune God incarnated to be a man.

The Triune God in humanity came to sow the kingdom gene in the Gospels, and this gene has been growing throughout the ages until it fully develops into the eternal kingdom of God with the New Jerusalem. How wonderful!

The New Testament gives us a full story of the kingdom gene, the seed of the kingdom of God, sown in the Gospels, spreading in the Acts, developing in the Epistles, and having its full development and harvest in the book of Revelation.

May we today cooperate with the Lord for the kingdom gene to grow in us and develop in us unto full maturity.

May we be those who not only understand and see or even enjoy this picture of the kingdom gene with its development but give the Lord their best cooperation for Him to grow in us.

Hallelujah for the true story of the kingdom of God, the kingdom gene, from Jesus the Nazarene to the New Jerusalem!

This is the gospel of the kingdom which we need to preach today.

This is the gospel we have in the Lord’s recovery, and this is what we need to preach to others in this age.

Lord Jesus, we praise You that one day You will get Your kingdom, even the fullest development of the kingdom gene sown by Jesus the Nazarene in the Gospels! Hallelujah, Jesus came as the Triune God in humanity to sow Himself as the seed of the kingdom into man! Praise the Lord, there’s a propagation and spreading of this sowing in the book of Acts by many thousands of disciples as the many sowers! Hallelujah, in the Epistles we see the growth of the gene of the kingdom! And praise the Lord, there’s a harvest of the kingdom gene in Revelation with the overcomers in the millennium and the New Jerusalem for eternity! Lord, grow in us! May the kingdom seed grow in us a little more today! Subdue any rebellion in us and cause Your element to increase in our being! Amen, Lord, may Your kingdom come in us and may Your kingdom gene spread through us!

At the end of the millennium, Satan will be released and allowed to rebel again [cf. Rev. 20:7-8]…Although Satan will instigate rebellion among the nations, he will not be able to touch the co-kings, for they will have been transformed by the kingdom gene. All the rebellious element that is in the fallen humanity of these co-kings will have been swallowed up by the kingdom gene. Therefore, it will be impossible for Satan, the evil one, to instigate the “kingdom-gene people” to rebel against God. In the new heaven and the new earth God will have an eternal kingdom with the New Jerusalem as the capital. The New Jerusalem will be a composition of kings, and these kings will rule over the fully restored nations. Then God will have an eternal kingdom as the full development of the gene sown in the Gospels by Jesus the Nazarene, who was the Triune God in humanity. How wonderful is the kingdom gene that was sown in the Gospels! Eventually, this gene will develop into the millennial kingdom spoken of in Revelation 20 and into God’s eternal kingdom in Revelation 21 and 22. Praise the Lord for this picture of the kingdom gene and its development!

Dear brother, it is so good to see the full story of the kingdom gene, the kingdom seed, from its sowing by the lord Jesus to the fullest development in the New Jerusalem!

In the gospels we see the incarnated Triune God sowing the kingdom gene, in acts, we see the spreading and propagation through many sowers, and in the epistles we see the development of the kingdom seed.

Then, in revelation, we see the harvest of the seed with the overcomers in the millennium and the New Jerusalem for eternity.

Oh Lord Jesus, grow in us today. May the kingdom seed grow in us a little more today. May there be a development of this seed in us until it reaches its maturity. May Your kingdom come in us and spread through us!

Praise the Lord that He is the seed sown in our heart by His ministers and growing to maturity to be overcomers and co-kings over nations.

I really enjoy His move from sowing His seed in the gospel, propagation in Acts, growing to maturity in Epistles and harvesting in revelation.

What a wonderful life growth it is in an organic way!

Praise the Lord for His call to be part of His kingdom.

Amen, the kingdom gene in each one of us will develop into the kingdom, making us the co-kings.

When that will happen depends on how much we cooperate to allow the seed to grow.

Amen

The sower is God Himself embodied in Christ who sowed Himself into us as the Kingdom (gene) seed who, as chosen ones, received Him when we heard the word. Hallelujah!

This seed needs to continually grow in us until the full harvest, the full development of the Kingdom that we see in Revelation.

Thank You Lord, You have been sown on the earth, are spreading and multiplying and growing until You reap such a harvest with the fullest development of Your Kingdom in the New Jerusalem! Amen. Lord Jesus grown in us for the full development of Your Kingdom!

Jesus sowed the seed/gene of the kingdom of God in the Gospels.

In the glorious local churches, we see the growth & development of this seed.

Eventually, there will be a harvest of the gene which will result in the co-kings of the millennium. In the New Jerusalem,

will have an eternal kingdom as the full development of the seed sown in the Gospels.

How wonderful is the Father’s plan which He has steadfastly & faithfully pursued throughout the ages.

Our God cannot be defeated! He will obtain the desire of His heart.

Amen. Praise the Lord the the kingdom seed.

It was encouraging to hear that all rebellious elements of the fallen humanity of the co-kings will have been swallowed up by the kingdom gene.

We need to undergo development and growth, but we will surely enjoy Christ as our rich and bountiful supply in all things.

O Lord thank you for your kingdom. Lord, we can do nothing, but turn to our spirit. Lord may we empty our vessels and be filled with Christ.
