We need to stay under the ruling of the enthroned peace of Christ and minister life to others, by the Lord’s grace.
If we allow the peace of Christ to arbitrated in our hearts, this peace will settle all the disputes among us, and we will have peace both with God vertically and with the saints horizontally, for we stay under the enthroned peace of Christ.
Amen, may we remain under the peace of Christ and enthrone this peace in our being!
What the whole world needs today is peace, and not the peace that they talk about today, but the Lor as peace.
When the Lord Jesus came, He said that He leaves His peace with us; He doesn’t give us peace as the world gives us peace, but He gives Himself to us as our peace.
All the people have problems not only with God but also with one another; we not only have no peace with God but also have no peace with one another.
So Christ came to make peace. He came and, on the cross, made peace in the body of His flesh, for He nailed to the cross all the ordinances that divide us and cause us to be enemies.
On the cross, Christ created out of two – the Jews and the Gentiles – one new man, and now we have peace.
Christ Himself became our peace; He not only gives us peace but He becomes our peace. Christ is our real peace. And He gives us peace.
The peace we have today in the Body of Christ as the one new man is the real peace, and we can let the peace of Christ arbitrate in our hearts.
Christ not only became our peace and gave us peace, but He came in us as the God of peace, even the Prince of peace, and He wants to arbitrate in our hearts.
There is so much infighting in our being, and there are so many conflicts with others in the church life, in the family life, at work, etc.
How can we solve all these problems? It is not by compromise, by giving in, or by imposing our authority or self-righteousness.
The only way we can have peace with God and with man is by letting the peace of Christ arbitrate in our hearts, for we have been called to this.
We have been called to peace, and we have Christ as our peace arbitrating in us.
May we enthrone this peace in us, that is, may we give the Lord as peace the ground to decide all things.
May we live not according to right or wrong, good or evil, but according to life and peace coming out of the sense in our spirit.
We believers in Christ are not here to do what’s right and reject what is wrong; we are here to let the peace of Christ arbitrate in us and live according to the sense of life within, being regulated by God’s living word as we live in the mingled spirit.
The Arbitrating Peace of Christ Solves all Problems: We have Peace with God and with Man!
If we allow the peace of Christ to arbitrate in our hearts (Col. 3:15), this peace will settle all the disputes among us.
When the arbitrating peace of Christ rules in us, we have peace with God vertically and peace with the saints horizontally.
We need peace with God and peace with man.
We can’t say we have peace with God but we’re not at peace with man, neither can we say we are at peace with man but we’re not at peace with God. These two are interrelated.
Through the arbitration of the peace of Christ, Christ is working Himself into us to be our very peace.
He exercises His rule over us and becomes the umpire, the arbiter, in all our inner issues.
Through the arbitration of the peace of Christ, our problems are solved, and all the friction between the saints disappears.
Then, the church life is preserved in sweetness, and the new man is maintained in a practical way.
The arbitrating peace of Christ is simply Christ as peace operating in us, working in us, and ruling over us.
We need to let this peace have the last word and make the final determination.
For this to happen, we need to often check with the Lord concerning all things, seeking to know His mind, His will, and His feelings.
We want to seek the Lord and check with Him about big things and little things so that we may have the inner sense of life and peace.
Before we go to the brothers and sisters to check how they feel about a particular matter, we need to come to the Lord and let the arbitrating peace of Christ operate in us.
The saints in Colossae were troubled by different problems such as philosophies, practices and culture; Paul’s solution was that they needed to let the peace of Christ arbitrate in them.
When we are troubled by culture, philosophies, and practices, we need the inward arbitration of the peace of Christ.
When we enthrone the peace of Christ in us and this peace becomes the unique umpire within us, we will have peace with God vertically and with the saints horizontally in the church as the one new man.
This is not mere doctrine or sound teaching – this should be our practice and our reality today.
We need to enthrone the peace of Christ in our being, giving it the ground to say the final word, so that all things may be decided by the peace of Christ.
Even among us in the church life, we should not merely decide things based on being right or wrong but according to peace.
Our oneness is maintained not by our human endeavouring or our agreeing with one another; it is maintained by the arbitrating peace of Christ in our being.
All the churches on the whole earth are under the arbitrating peace of Christ, and all the saints are under this inner arbitration.
There’s no set of rules with do’s and don’ts; there is the peace of Christ which arbitrates in our hearts.
Therefore, we are kept in peace and harmony with God and with man.
May we learn to turn to our spirit, again and again, to check with the Lord concerning all things, and may we practice doing things according to the Lord’s sense of life and peace within.
May we not put ourselves in the position of the referee whenever disputes or misunderstanding happens; may we enthrone the arbitrating peace of Christ so that peace may arbitrate in us and among us in the church life.
Lord Jesus, we allow the peace of Christ to arbitrate in our hearts so that this peace may settle all the disputes within us and among us. Amen, Lord, we want to have peace with God vertically and peace with the saints horizontally. We enthrone the peace of Christ in us and we give it the ground to make the final decision. We want to listen to the arbitration of the peace of Christ within us so that our problems may be solved and the friction between the saints may disappear. Amen, Lord, may the church life be preserved in sweetness and may the new man be maintained in a practical way among us today. Hallelujah, the arbitrating of the peace of Christ is Christ working within us to exercise His rule over us, to speak the last word, and to make the final decision! Amen, Lord, do this in us!
Stay under the Ruling of the Enthroned Peace of Christ to Not Offend others but Minister Life to them
In order for the peace of Christ to arbitrate in our hearts, we need to enthrone this peace as the ruler and decider.
For example, we may be offended by one of the brothers in the church life, and we may go to the Lord with this offense.
In His mercy, the Lord will come to us and cause us to set our mind not on being offended but on the things above so that once again we can experience the divine transmission!
Once we are under the divine transmission, the arbitrating peace of Christ will rise, and this peace will rule in us.
We will then realize that, even though our brother has offended us, we were wrong to a higher degree than he was.
So we will confess to the Lord, repent, receive grace, and be filled with love for that brother.
Through the inner arbitration of the enthroned peace of Christ, our problems are solved and any friction between us and the saints disappears.
We all need to enthrone the peace of Christ in our being and allow this peace to rule in us.
This is how we keep the oneness – in the uniting bond of peace (Eph. 4).
The arbitrating of the peace of Christ is Christ Himself working within us to exercise His rule over us, to speak the last word, and to make the final decision.
We need this experience day by day in our Christian life.
If we do not stay under the rule of the enthroned peace of Christ, there will be no way for us to live the Christian life and the church life.
But when the peace of Christ is enthroned in our hearts, we will have peace with God vertically and peace with the saints horizontally.
The way for us to be preserved in the enjoyment of Christ in the genuine church life is to remain under the rule of the enthroned peace of Christ.
We may think that we need to ask the Lord to rule over others so that they would behave better; however, the Lord wants to be enthroned in our being to rule over us.
May we allow the Lord to set up His throne in the centre of our being.
May we enthrone the peace of Christ and allow this peace to arbitrate in us and in the church life.
If we stay under the rule of the enthroned peace of Christ, we will not only not offend others or damage them, but we will also give them life.
But if the peace of Christ is not enthroned in our being, it will be so easy for us to offend others.
May we, by the Lord’s grace and with His grace, minister life to others by remaining under the ruling of the enthroned peace of Christ.
When peace reigns in us, we will not offend others nor will we damage them; rather, we will minister life to them.
When we stay under the enthroned peace of Christ, this peace will rule us, regulate us, not agree with certain things, and keep us in peace with God and man.
If we are people who know the peace of Christ in our experience, we will simply minister life to others no matter what situations we face and what problems we have.
May we stay under the rule of the enthroned peace of Christ day by day in our Christian life, our family life, and our church life.
This peace should become a bond binding all the believers together, thus becoming the uniting bond (Eph. 4:3).
The uniting bond of peace is the issue of the working of the cross.
The new man was created by God on the cross; the cross brings in peace. The cross is not for suffering – it is for termination.
When we allow the cross to operate in us, we will be terminated, and put to death; then, we will have peace with God and with man.
True peace in the universe is found in the place where all believers are crucified with Christ and stay under the rule of the enthroned peace of Christ.
Day by day we need to remain on the cross, bear the cross, and let the peace of Christ bind us together to unite us together in peace and harmony.
This is the way for us to keep the oneness of the Spirit, and this opens the way for us to minister Christ to others.
Lord Jesus, we want to stay under the rule of the enthrone peace of Christ today so that we do not offend others or damage them but rather minister life to them! Amen, Lord, we enthrone You as Lord and King in us. We give You the preeminence. Jesus is Lord. We enthrone the peace of Christ in us and we give this peace the preeminence in all things. May Your peace operate in us and regulate our inner being and all our relationships and actions. Amen, Lord, may the enthroned peace of Christ arbitrate in our hearts for the keeping of the oneness of the one new man! May the peace of Christ bring all the believers together and become the uniting bond of peace! Amen, Lord, we open to You and we allow the cross to operate in us so that our old man may be put to death and the peace of Christ would arbitrate in our hearts. Gain what You are after in us, dear Lord!
