We need to see the vision of the excellent Christ, the One who appeared to Daniel in His supreme preciousness as a man, so that we may appreciate Him, be consoled, encouraged, and stabilized; this Christ must have the preeminence in us.
What a wonderful Christ we have!
He is wonderful, precious, and excellent; we need to see a vision of His supreme preciousness and enjoy Him.
When we see a clear vision of who Christ is, when the Christ in glory infuses Himself into us by our seeing Him, we can enjoy and experience Him to become men of preciousness today.
We gain Christ and enter into the possession of Christ as the good land by seeing Christ.
The Christ we see is the Christ we gain and we possess.
Abraham was told by Jehovah that the whole land that he sees and walks in it, that’s his land, and it will belong to him and to his descendants.
In the divine and mystical realm, what we see is what we get; the more we see of Christ, the more we will get of the good land.
The blessing of Abraham has the physical and the spiritual aspects; the physical aspect is the good land for the people of Israel, and the spiritual aspect is the all-inclusive Christ as the life-giving Spirit for our portion and possession.
May we see more of Christ today, may we walk more in Christ today, and may we possess and enjoy more of Christ day by day!
Seeing God equals gaining God; seeing God also transforms us and causes us to see who we are and deny ourselves.
When Job saw God, he realized he was a sinful man, and he repented in dust and ashes.
Before he saw God, he had so much to say; he even wanted to argue with God, for he thought he was righteous and did not deserve what was happening to him.
But when he saw God, he simply repented in dust and ashes, for he realized who he is, and he obtained something of God (Job 42).
Similarly in Isa. 6, Isaiah saw a vision of the glorious Christ, and he realized that he was a man of unclean lips, and he dwelt in the midst of a people with unclean lips.
So he repented, and God purified his lips.
When we see God, we realize our condition, and we repent; then, God has a way to cleanse, purify, and purge us, especially our lips, and we can be sent by Him.
After Isaiah was purified by the seraphim with the ember from the altar, the prophet could answer God’s call to be sent by Him to His people.
We need to see a vision of who Christ is, who we are, and what is the purpose of God’s calling.
This will cleanse and purify us, and we can be sent by the Lord for the fulfilment of His purpose.
Seeing the Vision of the Excellent Christ in His Supreme Preciousness as a Man
In Dan. 10:4-9 we see the vision of the excellent Christ, who appeared to Daniel in His supreme preciousness as a man; this was for Daniel’s appreciation, consolation, encouragement, and stabilization.
Daniel lifted up his eyes and looked, and there was a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with the fine gold of Uphaz.
His body was like beryl, His face like the appearance of lightning, His eyes like torches of fire, His arms and His feet like the gleam of polished bronze, and the sound of His words like the sound of a multitude.
The vision of the excellent Christ in His supreme preciousness as a man comforted, encouraged, and stabilized Daniel, causing him to be comforted and encouraged.
Daniel understood that the One he saw was the Lord as a man; even before the incarnation of Christ, the Lord came to Daniel as a man.
In God’s view, there’s the fact of incarnation, with no time element; it is a fact that the Triune God became a man.
Therefore, He could come as a Man to Abraham in Gen. 18 and also to Daniel in Dan. 10.
We need to see the vision of the excellent Christ in His priesthood for taking care of His chosen people (Dan. 10:5).
He didn’t appear to Daniel with an armour for fighting but dressed in a linen robe, as a priest.
Christ is the centrality and universality of God, and He is a Priest taking care of the children of Israel in their captivity (Exo. 28:31-35).
Today Christ is our Priest in His humanity, taking care of us as His people.
Thank the Lord for His care in love. He cares for us according to God, ministering God and the heavenly things to us even in our low situation.
Christ appeared to Daniel in His kingship (signified by the golden girdle) for ruling over the people.
People wear a girdle for strengthening; Christ’s kingship is divine for the strengthening of His ministry.
In His humanity, Christ is the Priest, and in His divinity, He is the King.
May we see the vision of the excellent Christ in His supreme preciousness as a man!
For his people’s appreciation, Christ appeared in His preciousness and dignity; this is signified by His body being like beryl (v. 6).
The Hebrew word for beryl could refer to a bluish-green or yellow precious stone, signifying that Christ in His embodiment is divine (yellow), full of life (green), and heavenly (blue).
What a Christ we have! Our supremely precious Christ is divine, full of life, and heavenly.
We need to see Him, appreciate Him, enjoy Him and experience Him as such a One.
Christ appeared to Daniel in His brightness for shining over the people; His brightness is signified by His face being like the appearance of lightning. Amazing!
What a vision of the excellent Christ in His supreme preciousness as a Man! Christ’s enlightening sight is for searching and judging; His eyes are like torches of fire.
When He looks at us and we behold Him, He searches us and judges anything that does not match Him in our being.
In His humanity, He cares for us and brings the heavens into us; in His divinity, He rules over us and infuses us with what He is.
Furthermore, He is full of life and heavenly, and He shines over us, even searches us and judges anything that doesn’t match His holiness, righteousness, and glory.
Christ also appeared to Daniel in His gleam like polished bronze in His work and moves (v. 6).
In typology, bronze signifies God’s judgment, which makes people bright. Christ was judged by God, tried by God, and He was judged and tried by men; God’s trial and judgment made Him bright like polished bronze.
He was tested by people and He tested people when He was on the earth.
Even today, Christ tests people and is tested by people. He is a shining One, the gleaming One in His work and move.
We need to see a vision of the excellent Christ in His work and move.
A gleam is a flash of light, a glow; His work is gleaming and His move is excellent.
Look at what the Lord is doing all over the earth: He is moving, and the more people see the vision of the excellent Christ in His supreme preciousness, the more they love Him and appreciate Him, giving themselves to Him for His move on earth!
Christ appeared in His strong speaking for judging people; His strong speaking is signified by the sound of His word being like the sound of a multitude.
What a Christ! He is so much, He does so much, and He can be enjoyed and experienced by us as such a One!
Our Christ is excellent, precious, and valuable, and He is perfect; He as a man is the centrality and universality of God’s move to carry out His economy.
The vision of the excellent Christ in His supreme preciousness can be seen by us only individually, not corporately; we need the Lord’s appearing in a personal way, and we personally need to see Him as such a One.
In Dan. 10:7 we are told that only Daniel saw this vision, none of the men with him saw it.
The vision of Christ is spiritual and not physical; it can be seen only by those who exercise their spirit and live in spirit, not by those who rely on their physical sight.
The people in the world today consider Christ as nothing because their sight is merely physical.
However, if we exercise our spirit and see the vision of the excellent Christ in His supreme preciousness, we will appreciate Him, enjoy Him, and be joined to Him.
By God’s mercy and with a spiritual view, may we see how dear and precious our Christ is!
Lord Jesus, we exercise our spirit and we come to You to see You, enjoy You, appreciate You, and experience You. Grant us to see the vision of the excellent Christ in His supreme preciousness as a man. Amen, Lord, may we see that You are our priest in Your humanity, caring for us and ministering the heavenly things to us. Thank You for Your care in love. May we see that You are the King, ruling over all the people. May we appreciate You in Your preciousness and dignity, in Your brightness for shining over people, and in Your enlightening sight for searching and judging. Shine on us, Lord. Enlighten us, search us, and judge anything that is not according to You in our being. May we see You in Your move and in Your strong speaking. Appear to us, dear Lord, and show us Your supreme preciousness and worth. Oh Lord, we love You and we love Your appearing!
The World Situations is under God’s Rule to give Christ the Preeminence in All Things
When we see the vision of the excellent Christ in His supreme preciousness as a Man, we will realize that God in the heavens rules over all things to give Christ the preeminence in all things.
This is true both in the Old and in the New Testament.
The entire world situation is under the rule of the heavens by the God of the heavens in order to give Christ the preeminence in all things and cause Him to have the first place in everything (Dan. 2:34-35; 7:9-10; 4:34-35; Col. 1:15, 18; Rev. 2:4-5).
In Dan. 2 and 4 we see that the Most High is the Ruler over the kingdom of men, and He gives it to whomever He wills, setting up over it the lowliest of men.
Nebuchadnezzar learned this the hard way, for his heart became proud of what he had accomplished, so God had to humble him until he realized that the heavens do rule.
May we see that the entire world situation with all the details, situations, wars, countries, leaders, and uprisings is under the rule of the heavens by the God of the heavens.
The heavens rule so that Christ would have the preeminence in all things.
Christ must have the first place, the preeminence, not only in the world situation; God takes care of that.
He must have the preeminence in our personal universe also; Christ must have the first place in all the things related to us, in our personal universe.
Christ, the preeminent One, must be the centrality and universality in our church life, family life, and daily life (Col. 1:17, 18; 3:17; 1 Cor. 10:31).
To God, Christ is the centre and everything; all that God is, is focused and embodied in Christ, and Christ is everything about God and to God.
But what about our daily experience and our living?
Christ needs to become our centre, and He needs to become our everything.
On one hand, He needs to be our centre, and our unique focus should be on Christ. On the other hand, He needs to be our everything, and all things need to point us to Christ as everything to us.
This needs to be our experience day by day. Under the heavenly rule, God is using the environment to make Christ the first and everything to us (Rom. 8:28; Col. 1:18, 27; 3:4, 10-11).
As we look back at our experience we realize that, even though we may have wanted to obtain something or achieve something, what eventually happened is that we gained more Christ.
God works behind the scenes and uses our environment with all the things, persons, and matters in it to make Christ our centrality (the first) and our universality (everything).
We just need to be open vessels to Him and not interfere or impose our own will; we simply need to contact the Lord and enjoy Him.
As those who have been chosen by God to be His people for Christ’s preeminence, we are under God’s heavenly rule to make Christ preeminent, to cause Him to have the first place in everything (Dan. 4:26b, 35; Col. 1:18; 3:4, 10-11; Psa. 27:4).
God chose us and made us His people so that Christ would be preeminent in all things.
When we enjoy the Lord and experience Him, when we focus our whole being on Him and partake of His riches, we can testify that Christ is our centre and our everything.
Our desire will be like the Psalmist, to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of our life to behold His beauty and to enquire in His temple.
When we do anything, we will enquire of the Lord, and we will check with Him about every little and big detail of our daily life.
In this way, little by little, Christ becomes our centre and our everything, and He becomes preeminent in us.
Lord Jesus, cause us to see that the entire world situation is under the rule of the heavens by the God of the heavens in order to give Christ the preeminence in all things! Amen, Lord, may You have the first place in us. Have the preeminence in our being and in our personal universe. May we see the vision of the excellent Christ in His supreme preciousness, and may we give Him the first place in all things! Amen, Lord Jesus, be the centre and everything to us. May You be the centrality and universality in our church life, family life, and daily life. Amen, Lord, may we see that God is using the environment with all things in it to make Christ the first and everything to us! Lord Jesus, we give You the first place! May Christ be preeminent in us!

We need to exercise our spirit to see the vision of the excellent Christ in His supreme preciousness as both man and God, as revealed in Dan. 10.
This One, this excellent and supremely precious One, needs to be preeminent in us, having the first place in all things.
😃🙋🏽🙏
brother, what a vision we see in Daniel 10!
This is the excellent Christ, one who possesses humanity and divinity, the one who is shining, burning and searching in His move today, speaking in His judging us to arrange the entire world situation, even our personal universe, our environment so that He would have the first place in all things, being the preeminent one.
The worldly people consider our Jesus to be merely a human being.
However, to us, He is a precious, valuable, complete & perfect God-man.
In His humanity He takes care of us; in His divinity He reigns over us.
He is truly glorious & excellent. Like Daniel, we need to see such a One.
There’s a man in the glory who is divine, full of life and heavenly.
How wonderful is He!
May we live for this excellent One to be magnified in us and to be the reality of our church life.

Amen Yes Lord, unveil us to see.
Ameen!!!
The Christ seen by Daniel is precious, perfect, complete, excellent and valuable; the centrality and universality of God’s move for his appreciation, encouragement, consolation, and stabilization. Same with us today.
We need to see Christ in His excellency, centrality, and universality, in His priesthood, kingship, preciousness and dignity, in His brightness with enlightening eyes, in His moves and work, and in His strong speaking for our enjoyment and experience for the carrying out of His economy to end this age and bring in the kingdom age.
Oh Lord Jesus!
Give us the vision to see You in Your Supreme preciousness as both man and God.
Help us to exercise our spirit to enter into such a wonderful vision and reality Lord.
We give You the preeminence in all things Lord.
May we be those who enjoy You, experience You and give You the first place in all things!
