See a Vision of Christ in Glory, Realize the Lord is on the Throne, and Live Christ

You, O Jehovah, abide forever; / Your throne is from generation to generation. Lam. 5:19

In Isa. 6:1-8 we see that the vision of Christ in glory was seen by Isaiah in his depression; when we see a vision of the glorious Christ on the throne, we will live Christ and we will bring others also into a state of living Christ to express God’s glory, holiness, and righteousness. Amen!

This week we come to the last week in the series of Knowing, Experiencing, and Living the All-inclusive Christ for the Genuine Church Life.

The main topic for this week is, The Vision, Experience, and Enjoyment of the Glorious and Excellent Christ as the Supreme Preciousness of God for the Genuine Church Life.

As we live the church life, we need to see a vision of the glorious and excellent Christ; He is the supreme preciousness of God and we can enjoy and experience Him for the genuine church life.

There are many portions in the Word of God that speak concerning the glorious Christ, both in the Old and the New Testament.

One such portion is in Isaiah 6, another one is in Daniel 10 and another one is in Revelation 1. Our Christ is a wonderful Person.

He needs many verses, many chapters, and many books to describe Him. We need to receive the vision of the glorious Christ, the vision of Christ in glory so that we may be strengthened in faith and we may go on with the Lord.

In Peter’s epistles, we see the word “precious” being repeated repeatedly.

There are the precious promises, the precious blood of Christ, and the precious proving of our faith.

Christ, the supremely precious One, is being enjoyed and experienced by us, and we partake of His preciousness to the extent that we become precious in the Lord’s eyes.

May the Lord unveil us to see who Christ is, what He is, and where He is, and may we allow this glorious Christ to infuse us with what He is to make us the same as He is.

The Vision of Christ in Glory was seen by Isaiah in His Depression: the Lord is on the Throne!

In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting on a high and lofty throne, and the train of His robe filled the temple. Isa. 6:1

At the time of the prophet Isaiah, as seen in Isa. 6, the situation was very evil among the people of Israel. King Uzziah was one of the good kings, but he just died, and the people left God and went after idols.

The vision of Christ in glory was seen by Isaiah in his depression (Isa. 6:1-8; cf. 5:20; 22:1; 2 Chron. 26:1-5).

He was a prophet of God, but everything and everyone around him was not for God.

He loved God and loved Israel, the people of God; however, he realized that there was no expression of God’s glory among His people.

Israel had violated God’s holiness, and they had become corrupt in human virtues. And the good king Uzziah just died.

In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting on a high and lofty throne, and the train of His robe filled the temple. Seraphim hovered over Him, each having six wings: With two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one called to the other, saying: Holy, holy, holy, Jehovah of hosts; / The whole earth is filled with His glory. And the foundations of the threshold shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke. Isa. 6:1-4In such an environment, Isaiah was surely depressed; in his depression, the Lord appeared to him.

We may go through situations and things where we are depressed, for nothing and no one around us is for the Lord, and His glory is not expressed or manifested.

We need to tell Him all our sorrows, disappointments, and depressions. When we experience depression, we need to tell the Lord.

In 2 Cor. 1:8-9 Paul also testified that he despaired even of living; desperation is even lower than depression.

Desperation means that you lose all your hope. Oh Lord.

In such despair, Paul was being trained by the Lord to have no confidence in himself but trust in God who raises the dead.

As we go through depression, we can tell the Lord all things, and we can open to Him.

And He will appear to us. We will receive a vision of Christ in glory.

When we see a vision of Christ in glory as Isaiah did, we will realize that, no matter what is happening outwardly, though there may be no one and nothing for God, the Lord is still on the throne.

God in glory is on the throne, and this One is the God-man with divine glory and human virtues. His divine glory is expressed through His human virtues (the virtues are signified by the long train of the robe).

We need to see a revelation of Christ, a vision of Christ in glory; when we see Him, we realize that He is on the throne, and He is glorious, holy, and righteous.

Wherever we look today, we see only evil. If you turn on the news to listen and see what’s going on, you don’t get the news but lies and politics; they try to convince you of something.

But if we look to the Lord, if we have the Lord’s appearing, we will see Christ on the throne in glory.

The Lord is on the throne. We need to see this. And the whole earth is filled with His glory.

We need to have our eyes uplifted so that we may see a vision of Christ in glory.

When our eyes are lifted, we will see that He is on the throne, and the foundations of the earth are shaking when He comes.

In the time of Isaiah and also in our time, people are evil and the situation is dark and very corrupt.

People call evil good, and good evil; they put darkness for light and light for darkness, and they put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter (Isa. 5:20).

It seems that everything that is sinful, lustful, and immoral is being made normal, and being a normal Christian or even a normal husband or wife is something abnormal to the society today.

However, in spite of the rebellion, iniquities, and corruptions of God’s chosen and beloved people, Christ is still the Lord and the King, and He is sitting on a high and lofty throne in glory (Isa. 6:1-5; Lam. 5:19; Rev. 22:1).

If we look around us, there is nothing that encourages us, and it seems that no one is truly seeking after the Lord but rather, is seeking their own gain and all the thoughts of their heart are continually toward evil.

Man is rebellious, the iniquities of man are as high as the heaven, and the corruption both in the world and in the so-called churches is very high.

For we do not want you to be ignorant, brothers, of our affliction which befell [us] in Asia, that we were excessively burdened, beyond [our] power, so that we despaired even of living. Indeed we ourselves had the response of death in ourselves, that we should not base our confidence on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. 2 Cor. 1:8-9However, in spite of all this, the Lord is still on the throne.

May we see a vision of Christ in glory.

May the Lord appear to us, and may we love Him and give ourselves to just love Him.

May we be those who are so personal and intimate with the Lord, kissing Him with the kisses of our mouth.

He is our King, and He is also our Beloved; we worship Him and we love Him.

We should not look at our environment to find something that we trust and hang on to in order to follow the Lord and worship Him; we should simply turn our eyes to the Lord and see a vision of Christ in glory.

When we see a vision of Christ in glory, we are dethroned, for Christ is on the throne; He is on the throne in glory, and He is on the throne in our being.

May we have a clear sky between us and the Lord, and may we see the Lord enthroned, ruling over all things (Ezek. 1:22, 26).

May the Lord have mercy on us so that even in our depression we would see a vision of Christ in glory and realize that He is on the throne.

May we look away from all things unto Jesus with undivided attention, paying attention only to Him and focusing on Him in glory.

This will save us from our depression and despair, for this glorious One is on the throne.

Lord Jesus, grant us to see a vision of Christ in glory. We turn our eyes upon You. We do not look at the rebellion, iniquities, and corruption in the world and even among Christians today. Grant us to see a vision of Christ in glory even in the midst of our depression and desperation. Oh Lord, may we realize that the Lord is on the throne! Hallelujah, Christ is the King and the Lord! Jesus Christ is sitting on a high and lofty throne in glory, and we are under His throne! Praise the Lord, everything is under the Lord as the King, and He rules over all things. Lord, may we have a clear sky between us and You so that we may see the throne and even have a throne set up in the centre of our being. Jesus Christ is Lord in the whole universe and in us! We enthrone You, dear Lord Jesus!

Seeing Christ in Glory and Living Christ by Expressing His Glory in His Holiness with His Righteousness

These things said Isaiah because he saw His glory and spoke concerning Him. John 12:41 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made Him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you have crucified. Acts 2:36When we see a vision of Christ in glory, we will realize that the Lord is on the throne, and everything is under His rule.

Even more, the One on the throne is not just God but a God-man, for He is both God and man.

In the vision in Isa. 6, Christ was wearing a long robe that filled the temple; this is a type of Christ’s humanity which is “long”, filling the house of God.

The Lord who appeared to Isaiah was on a high and lofty throne in His divine glory (John 12:39-41) signified by the smoke, and with His human virtues, signified by the train of His robe.

When we see such a One, when we see the God-man Jesus Christ on the throne, we are infused with Him, and we are sent by Him to bring His people back to Himself, back to living Christ.

Christ is full of the divine glory and the human virtues in His holiness.

Christ’s holiness is based upon His righteousness (Isa. 5:16).

He lived a righteous life, doing all things in righteousness, and He was holy, sanctified in all His living.

Christ was not common but holy, separated unto God, and His living was in righteousness and holiness. Therefore, He expressed the glory of God wherever He was.

Christ as the embodiment of God is righteous, holy, and glorious.

We, on the other hand, fall short of the glory of God, we violate the divine holiness, and we are corrupt in human virtues.

We need to see a vision of Christ in glory and be infused with Him as the holy, righteous, and glorious One.

When we see Christ in glory, we will be sent to the people of God to just live Christ.

To live Christ is to express the divine glory in the Lord’s holiness and with His righteousness.

This is what God desires today; He desires to gain a people who live Christ, that is a people who express God’s glory.

To live Christ is to be righteous. Righteousness is the base for us to live Christ; righteousness is the foundation of God’s salvation.

In His salvation, God first justifies us and makes us righteous. Then, He works His holy nature into us to make us holy, sanctified, and separated unto Him.

Spontaneously, we will be brought into the expression of the divine glory of Christ, which is to live Christ.

All those who have been sent by God are those who see a vision of Christ in glory and go to His people to bring them into a state of living Christ.

Every sent one is sent by the Lord to do the same thing. First, God sent the prophets. Second, God sent His Son. Third, God sent the New Testament apostles. He sent them all to bring God’s chosen people into a state of living Christ. He desired that they would live righteousness, showing that they are a holy people, different and distinct from the nations. Then they would express Christ’s divine glory. To live Christ is to express Christ’s divine glory in His holiness with His righteousness. We must be righteous people, holy people, and people full of the divine glory. Then we will be those who live Christ. Life-study of Isaiah, pp. 236-238, by Witness LeeIn the Old Testament, we see that God sent the prophets, then He sent His Son, and finally, He sent His New Testament apostles.

All the sent ones are to bring God’s chosen people into a state in which they express God in His glory, holiness, and righteousness; they are to bring God’s people into a state of living Christ.

First, we need to see a vision of Christ in glory, and we need to have Him infused into us so that He may live in us.

When we live Christ, we express Him in His glory with His holiness and righteousness.

Others will see that we are a holy people, different and distinct from the nations, and they sense the expression of God’s glory in us.

May we come to the Lord again and again to have a vision of His glory and realize that He is on the throne, and may we have this glorious, righteous, and holy One infused into our being so that we may live Christ and bring others also into a state of living Christ.

May we see the enthroned God-man Jesus with the divine glory expressed in His human virtues (Isa. 6:1; Ezek. 1:26, 22; Acts 2:36; Heb. 2:9), and may we be infused with what He is so that we may live Christ.

When we see Christ in glory, when a vision of the glorious Christ is infused into us, we will enthrone Him, we will be infused with Him, and we will live Him.

This vision will commission us to go and bring the people of God into a state of living Christ so that they may express Him in His glory, righteousness, and holiness.

Lord Jesus, we turn to You. We turn from all things around us and we focus only on You. We want to see a vision of Christ in glory. May we see Christ’s splendour in His virtues, His divine attributes being expressed in His human virtues. Amen, Lord, infuse us with what You are. May we see You, gain You, and become the same as You. Bring us into a state of living Christ so that we may express the divine glory in holiness and righteousness. Amen, Lord, gain a holy people on earth that is fully separated unto God and saturated with God’s holy nature. Gain a people who expresses God’s glory and are righteous in all their living. Make us those who see a vision of Christ in glory, live Christ to express Him, and bring others into a state of living Christ.

Isaiah 6:8-10 shows us Isaiah being sent. He was sent by the Christ who is full of the divine glory and the human virtues in His holiness (vv. 1-4). Christ’s holiness is based upon His righteousness. Isaiah 5:16 says, “Jehovah of hosts is exalted in judgment, / And the holy God shows Himself holy in righteousness.” God is sanctified in His righteousness…A righteous person is a sanctified person. He is not common but holy, separated unto God… Since God is righteous, He is holy, sanctified, separated from the common people. In the four Gospels, Jesus surely was a separated, unique, and particular person because He was righteous all the time. Therefore, He is holy, sanctified. Isaiah was sent by Christ to a people who were short of the divine glory, were violating the divine holiness, and were corrupt in the human virtues (Isa. 6:5). He was sent by the Lord to lead Israel to express Christ’s divine glory in His human virtues held in His holiness (5:16b). In other words, God wanted Israel to be a holy people, fully separated from the nations… Today to live Christ is to express God’s glory. To live Christ is to be righteous. Righteousness is the base, the foundation, of God’s salvation. God’s salvation firstly justifies us, making us righteous. Then we will be holy, sanctified, separated. Spontaneously, we will be brought into the expression of the divine glory of Christ, which is to live Christ.

Even when we are down and things seem to be not going well, the Lord appears to us and shows us who He is.

No matter what happens outwardly, the Lord is on the throne. His divinity is expressed through His human virtues.

When we see Him, we’re sent by Him to bring the Lord’s people into a state of living Christ, that is, expressing His divine glory in His holiness with His righteousness.

Lord Jesus, appear to us. Cause us to see that You are on the throne. Grant us a vision of who You are so that we may be those who live Christ and who bring others into a state of living Christ!

Dear brother, today, despite the environment, even our condition, and the situation in the church, there is the glorious and excellent Christ – the enthroned God-man who is reigning according to His holiness and righteousness. Hallelujah!

O Lord grant us a fresh vision of Yourself as the enthtoned One so that we would deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow You as a sent one!

We need to see a vision of how excellent & glorious is the Christ who dwells in us.

Our Christ is full of the divine glory and the human virtues.

May we cooperate with the Lord’s desire to bring us into a state of living this most precious One.

Let’s just love and adore Him and hunger & thirst for Him to be expressed in us for the genuine church life.

Praise the Lord Christ is the God-man with the divine glory expressed in human virtues!

In the midst of rebellion, iniquities and corruptions may our eyes see the King!

Christ is still in the throne in His glory! There is a man in the glory who’s life is for me!

To Isaiah the Lord seemed to say don’t look at the situation, if you look down you will be disappointed. Look at Me!

Lord open our inner eyes, soften our heart, and keep our heart turned to You! Aaaaameeen! Lord Jesys grant us such a vision!

Yes and very true!

God is not seen only on the high mountain, but also in the valley.

He expressed Himself to Paul while he was in prison and to Peter after he denied Him plus after he returned back to his previous fishing.

Praise the Lord for Patience not to give up in our depression too.

The “Lord” that Isaiah saw is Christ as the God man, in His glory ( smoke), righteousness ( the robe), and holiness ( seraphim). Wow even before Christ’s incarnation, Isaiah saw the vision of the glorious, righteous, and holy Christ!

Isaiah was sent to a people who were in rebellion, iniquities, corruption, short of the divine glory, corrupt in their virtues, and violating the divine holiness, to be a testimony of who Christ is.

May we take heed the warning of Isaiah and pray to the Lord to open our eyes, soften our hearts, and keep our hearts turned to Him that we may receive the inner healing of our blindness and sickness.

Thank You Lord for Your wonderful salvation based on righteousness that we may we sanctified to be holy to be Your glorious expression. Amen🙏🙏🙏

Ameeen dear brother!

The One who appeared to Isaiah in his disappointment over the condition of the children of Israel was Christ as the Lord, the King, Jehovah of hosts (v. 5b; John 12:41 and note).

No matter what the situation might be on earth and regardless of the corruption and degradation among God’s people, Christ is still on the throne in His glory. The people had become fallen, but Christ and His throne remained the same in His glory. On this earth everything changes and fluctuates, but Christ remains the same today and forever (Heb. 13:8). Hence, we should not look down at the situation on earth but should look up to Christ on the throne (Heb. 12:2).

Oh Lord May be exercising our spirit always look up to you and manifested your kingdom today on earth as in heaven!

Hallelujah! 😃
