As a rising freshman, I had zero expectations for the North America College Training. A serving one had recommended it to me the year before and I was initially apprehensive due to the pricing (I’m from the UK so international flights were factored into this).
I had the unique opportunity to join 15 other saints on a road trip from the East Coast (totalling 37 hours of driving), staying at saints’ hospitality and sightseeing the wonders of New York, Boston, and D.C.
Upon arriving in Champaign Illinois, I was awestruck by the sheer number of saints on the campus. The singing times had such a crazy atmosphere as we proclaimed our love to the Lord in the vastness of the State Farm Center.
The real cherishing part of course was the messages. With 2 main topics covered that week (Holding to Truth and Love Prevails), I’ve learned how truth, and therefore Christ is the reality! We can be ambassadors of Christ by walking, speaking, proclaiming, and triumphing on this truth.
Satan can try to send his thoughts as “arrows of fire” into our minds to distract us. But he can’t distract us from God’s eternal love!
