We Repent for the Kingdom and are being Baptized to be Immersed into the Triune God

From that time Jesus began to proclaim and to say, Repent, for the kingdom of the heavens has drawn near. Matt. 4:17

We need to repent for the kingdom of God, taking Christ as our King and Lord, and we need to be baptized into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit to be immersed into the Triune God and enjoy all that He is. Amen!

It is very interesting to see that the first Gospel, the Gospel of Matthew, is not on Christ as life or as the proper man but as the King; the gospel of Matthew is the gospel of the King-Savior.

Only when Christ is our King and Lord can we enjoy Him as the reality of all that God is and has.

When we preach the gospel to disciple all the nations, baptizing them into the Triune God, we need to preach the gospel of the kingdom so that rebellious sinners may become citizens of the kingdom of God. Amen!

We believers in Christ were saved by God not just for us to enjoy eternal life with Him but also to carry out our great commission: to go and disciple all the nations, baptizing them into God Himself.

We are called to not just enjoy Christ personally and corporately but also go by being sent by God to disciple all the nations and immerse them into the Triune God. Hallelujah!

First of all, we need to be called, then, we need to be sent. Like Isaiah in Isa. 6, however, many times we realize that our God is holy, righteous, and glorious, and we are sinful, living among people with unclean lips and sinful hearts.

When we come to the Lord and contact Him, He has a way to purify us, purge us, and cleanse us, and then we can be those who are sent by Him.

We need to be sent by the Lord in order to go and disciple all the nations.

He is the Lord, He is the One who has all authority in heaven and on earth, and we are sent by Him into His name to preach the gospel of the kingdom and make heathen people into kingdom people.

May we first be under the Lord’s authority and rulership in our daily life, taking Him as our supreme authority and submitting to His throne.

We are in the kingdom of the Son of God’s love, where we are ruled by the Lord in love.

As we remain under the Lord’s authority in His kingdom, we will cooperate with Him by not only enjoying all that He is but even more, going out to others to preach the gospel of the kingdom to them.

Just as we enjoy the riches of Christ by being under His rule in the kingdom of God, so we today want to preach the gospel of the kingdom to the whole inhabited earth as a testimony, and many will believe.

We take the believing ones, the repentant sinners, and we immerse them into the Triune God through baptism! What a great commission!

We need to Repent for the Kingdom of God, for Him to have a Realm to Rule and Dispense Himself into us as Blessing

And saying, Repent, for the kingdom of the heavens has drawn near. Matt. 3:2 And as you go, proclaim, saying, The kingdom of the heavens has drawn near. Matt. 10:7 And saying, The time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God has drawn near. Repent and believe in the gospel. Mark 1:15The book of Matthew starts with Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham (Matt. 1:1).

It doesn’t start chronologically with Jesus as the Son of Abraham but according to the viewpoint of the kingdom, so He is first the son of David, the King.

When the Lord Jesus went out to preach the gospel and carry out His ministry, He proclaimed and said, Repent, for the kingdom of the heavens has drawn near (Matt. 4:17).

Before we can enjoy God as our life and as our blessing, we need to repent for the kingdom of God.

The gospel in the New Testament is firstly presented not as the gospel of life, the gospel of grace, or the gospel of peace but as the gospel of the kingdom.

For God to be able to dispense all that He is into us, we need to repent for the kingdom of God.

Even in the gospel of John we see that, if we are not regenerated, we cannot enter into the kingdom of God (John 3:3, 5).

Why do we need to repent? We need to repent because we’re sinful and especially because we are rebellious.

We are rebellious against God, and we are even enemies of God.

Therefore, for us to enjoy anything of Christ, we first need to repent, have a change of mind, and accept the Lord as our King and Savior (Matt. 3:2; 10:7; Mark 1:15).

Because we are rebels, we need to repent and receive Christ as our authority, as our Sovereign and King; when He rules and reigns in us in God’s kingdom, we can enjoy all that He is.

Once there is the kingdom of God in us by our repenting for the kingdom, we will receive God’s blessing.

We all want to receive the blessing, but this blessing requires a sphere in which God can rule and reign.

God doesn’t just give us something called, the blessing; He wants to set up His kingdom in us, and then He can dispense all that He is into us.

Without the kingdom of God being in our heart, there’s no way for God to come in and bless us, and we cannot enjoy the divine dispensing.

This is why we need to call on the name of the Lord, Oh Lord Jesus!

We don’t just call, Oh Jesus, but Oh Lord Jesus! When we call Him as Lord, He is enthroned in our being, and His kingdom is set up in us.

We first need to know and receive Christ as the Son of David and then as the Son of Abraham.

We first need to recognize the Lord’s kingly status and realize that we should be under His kingship and sovereignty, and then we can enjoy Him as our blessing.

When the Lord comes to us, He comes as the King-Savior; He comes as the King of the kingdom of the heavens, and when we receive Him as our King and Lord, He can establish His kingdom in us and He can dispense all that He is into us.

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole inhabited earth for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come. Matt. 24:14It is the same with our preaching of the gospel.

In order for us to carry out the great commission of the Lord to us, we need to preach the gospel of the kingdom in order to bring many into the kingdom of God.

Then, we need to disciple them by baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

We cannot just tell people of the good things the Lord can do for them and that’s it; we need to lead them to call on the name of the Lord Jesus so that they may receive him as their King-Savior (Matt. 24:14).

Once the Lord Jesus becomes the King-Savior in our being, once His kingdom is set up in our heart, He can dispense all that He is into us and we are under His blessing.

The more we are under the Lord’s rule in our daily life, the more we enjoy the Triune God as our blessing.

This blessing is of life, for it is the blessing of the processed Triune God consummated as the all-inclusive Spirit.

May we be under God’s rule today and may we preach the gospel of the kingdom to bring many under the rule of God for Him to have a realm, a sphere in which He can rule and reign.

Lord Jesus, we believe into You and we take You as our Lord and King. Jesus Christ is Lord! Amen, Jesus Christ is our Lord! We enthrone You in our being. We believe into You, we repent of our sins and our past, and we take You as our King and our Sovereign. We are under Your ruling today. Set up Your throne in our heart. Amen, Lord, we take You as the Son of David so that we may enjoy You as the Son of Abraham. You are our King and Lord. We open to You, we submit ourselves under Your rule, and we take You as our Lord. Hallelujah, in the kingdom of God we can enjoy His blessing! What a wonderful place it is here, in God’s kingdom, where we can enjoy the blessing of the all-inclusive Spirit! We love You, Lord, we love to enjoy Your blessing, and we are one with You to preach the gospel of the kingdom! Amen, may all hear the gospel of the kingdom so that they may repent for the kingdom of God and come into the enjoyment of all that God is!

Being Baptized is being Immersed into the Triune God to Enjoy all that He is

Go therefore and disciple all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Matt. 28:19

After repenting for the kingdom of God, we need to be baptized.

After we preach the gospel of the kingdom and people repent for the kingdom, they need to be baptized.

Baptism is not just an outward sign; we baptize people not just in water but into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19).

There is one name for the Divine Trinity, and we baptize people into the Triune God.

We don’t baptize people into the name of the Father and then again into the name of the Son and then again into the name of the Spirit.

Rather, we disciple the nations by baptizing them into the Triune God, into the one name of the Triune God!

There is one name for our Triune God: the Father the Son and the Spirit.

The Triune God not only works together by the Father sending the Son and the Son working by the Spirit; even more, the Triune God has one name – the Father, the Son, and the Spirit.

After Christ passed through His death and resurrection and finished the process as a man from God’s incarnation through His human living, death, and resurrection, He is the Triune God who was processed and consummated to be the Spirit for us to enjoy and partake of.

Now there is such a person called the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; there is one name for the Triune God.

The Triune God is not three persons that are separate and unrelated; the Triune God is one, inseparable.

But here we see that there is one name for the entire Triune God.

Dr. Scofield said in his study Bible that Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is the final name of the one true God.

This is the final name, and into this name, we are baptized and we baptize others so that we may be immersed into the Triune God.

The name denotes the person; the name of the Father Son Spirit denotes the Father who is the source, the Son who is the course, and the Spirit as the flow.

Praise the Lord, when we are baptized in water we are inwardly baptized and immersed into the Triune God.

For the discipling of the nations, we need to baptize them into the one name of the Father, Son, and Spirit to bring them into an organic union with the Triune God.

When we baptize others into the Triune God, we bring them into an organic union with God so that they would under His divine dispensing to enjoy Him as their reality.

The name is the sum total of the Divine Being, equivalent to His person.

There is one name for the Divine Trinity. The name is the sum total of the Divine Being, equivalent to His person. To baptize someone into the name of the Triune God is to immerse him into all that the Triune God is. Matt. 28:19, footnote 5 on, "name," Recovery Version Bible To baptize someone into the name of the Triune God is to immerse him into all that the Triune God is.

We need to see this and realize this, that baptism is being immersed into the Triune God.

We disciple all the nations by putting them into the Triune God.

We don’t enlarge God’s kingdom by convincing others that God exists and convicting them that they need to repent or else they go to hell. This is a very low gospel.

The gospel of the kingdom is to repent for the kingdom of God and be immersed into the Triune God to become one with God and be filled with God.

Baptism is not just a procedure all new converts need to go through after believing into Jesus; baptism is immersing others into the Triune God to be brought into an organic union with Him. Amen!

By faith, we are joined to the Triune God, and by baptism we are immersed into the Triune God and are filled with Him.

May we be one with the Lord as we go out to carry out our great commission to disciple all the nations by baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit so that they may be immersed into the Triune God and made fully one with God!

Lord Jesus, we believe into You and we are one with You! Hallelujah, we can be baptized into the Triune God to be immersed into the Triune God and made fully one with God! Amen, Lord, we praise You for being one yet three – You are the Father, the Son, and the Spirit, and we are immersed into You! What a wonderful Person You are, and we are now in You and You are in us! Praise You, Lord, for discipling us by baptizing us into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah, we are immersed into the Triune God to be one with God and to be filled with God! Amen, Lord, we are now under Your divine dispensing, enjoying all that You are and being one with You to disciple all the nations. We go in Your name and with Your authority to baptize the repentant believers into God so that they may be immersed in the Triune God and be brought into an organic union with God! Hallelujah, through baptism we are brought into the enjoyment of all that God is! Praise the Lord!

Once there is the kingdom, the kingdom becomes the realm, the sphere, for God to exercise Himself to bless us. We all like to receive the blessing, but we may not realize that the blessing requires a sphere of God’s authority, a sphere under God’s administration. Without such a sphere, there is no way for God to come in to bless us. If we are not under God’s administration, receiving Him as our Sovereign, there is no way for Him to bless us.

Therefore, in our experience our Savior, Jesus Christ, must first be the Son of David for the kingdom and then the Son of Abraham for the blessing. We need to be impressed with the fact that we must receive Christ first as the Son of David and then as the Son of Abraham. To receive Him as the Son of David is to recognize His kingly status and to realize that we should be under His kingship and sovereignty. He comes to us not merely as the Savior but as the King-Savior.

If He is not the King to us, He cannot be our Savior. If we are not under His authority, His administration, we cannot be saved. Salvation comes to us under His administration, under His kingship. If we say, “O Lord Jesus, I take You as my King,” we will be saved to the uttermost.

Baptism brings the repentant people out of their old state into a new one by terminating their old life and germinating them with the new life of Christ that they may become the kingdom people. John the Baptist’s recommending ministry began with a preliminary baptism, a baptism by water only. Now, after the heavenly King had accomplished His ministry on earth, had passed through the process of death and resurrection, and had become the life-giving Spirit, He charged His disciples to baptize the discipled people into the Triune God. This baptism has two aspects: the visible aspect by water and the invisible aspect by the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38, 41; 10:44-48). The visible aspect is the expression, the testimony, of the invisible aspect, whereas the invisible aspect is the reality of the visible aspect. Without the invisible baptism by the Spirit, the visible baptism by water is vain, and without the visible baptism by water, the invisible baptism by the Spirit is abstract and impractical. Both are needed. Not long after the Lord charged the disciples with this baptism, He baptized them and the entire church in the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 12:13), the Jewish part on the day of Pentecost (Acts 1:5; 2:4) and the Gentile part in the house of Cornelius (Acts 11:15-17). Then, based on this, the disciples baptized the new converts (Acts 2:38) not only into water but also into the death of Christ (Rom. 6:3-4), into Christ Himself (Gal. 3:27), into the Triune God (v. 19), and into the Body of Christ (1 Cor. 12:13). The water, signifying the death of Christ with His burial, may be considered a tomb in which the baptized ones’ old history is ended. Since the death of Christ is included in Christ, and since Christ is the very embodiment of the Triune God (Col. 2:9) and the Triune God eventually is one with the Body of Christ, to baptize new believers into the death of Christ, into Christ Himself, into the Triune God, and into the Body of Christ is to do just one thing: on the negative side, to terminate their old life, and on the positive side, to germinate them with new life, the eternal life of the Triune God, for the Body of Christ. Hence, the baptism ordained by the Lord here baptizes people out of their life into the Body life for the kingdom of the heavens.

We need to repent for the kingdom of God, and then we need to be baptized into God to be immersed into the Triune God. Amen!

As rebellious ones, we need to repent and take Christ as our Lord and King, and then we can enjoy all His riches.

Then, we need to be immersed into Him through baptism.

Amen, Lord, we take You as our Lord and King. We submit to Your kingship. We want to enjoy all Your riches here, in the kingdom of God. Keep us under Your ruling today.

Brother, I enjoyed that our Christ is the Son of David and the Son of Abraham, showing us that the gospel presented from Matthew is in the way of the Kingdom and from John in the way of life!

For God to have a realm in which He rules and has authority as subjects in God’s Kingdom we need life, which is why we need to be born anew to enter into the Kingdom.

To live in the Kingdom by His life blessing we need to come under Christ’s Kingship, when we are ruled by the divine life in the realm of life God can freely bless us with His dispensing in life! Hallelujah!

Lord Jesus thank You Son of David, Son of Abraham, the greater Solomon, the real Isaac, we praise You! You are our King and Lord. We praise You for Your Sovereignty, Your Kingship, Your authority! Jesus is Lord!!

Amen! We need to recognise Christ first as the Son of David, that is the King-Savior so that we can receive Him as our authority.

We need to repent and receive Christ as our authority so that He may rule in us and over us in Gods Kingdom, amen.

The more we are under this ruling the more we enjoy the blessings of the Triune God.

Lord we take you as our King, we are under your authority. Amen, keep us under Your ruling

Our deepest problem is rebellion.

The Lord will demonstrate this truth after the millennial age.

We are not only sinful; we are enemies of God.

In our gospel preaching, we need to present Christ as the King-Saviour.

If we come under the ruling of the Son of David, we can experience the Son of Abraham for the blessing of life.

Because of our rebellious nature which issues in sin and made us enemies of God, we needed to repent and receive Jesus Christ, the Son of David, as our King Saviour to rule in us as His Kingdom people.

Only then do we enjoy Him as the Son of Abraham with the blessing of Abraham – Himself as life and the processed Triune God as the consummated all-inclusive Spirit.

Praise the Lord, as the Son of David, the Son of Abraham we have the Triune God and are in the Triune God! Amen!

Lord, as those who have repented and received You as the King-Saviour keep us under Your ruling today!
