Redeeming the Time and Being Sanctified (sharing from 2024 EYPC)

Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Eph. 5:16

Message 3 (Morning) – ‘The Full Knowledge of the Truth’:

The truth is not only able to set us free, but it is also able to sanctify us. This sanctification separates us from the world. It is not by our own strength that we are separated from the world but rather from the truth that has been constituted into our being. It is only the truth that is in us that we can speak to others in order to set them free.

Message 1 (Evening) – ‘Israel Under Slavery in Egypt’:

I really enjoyed the point the brother shared on redeeming the time. We have 24 hours every day, yet much of our time is lost to worldly living. Satan is always trying to steal our time and make sure that we do not spend time to seek the Lord and touch Him. This message was a warning to all of us to watch how we use our time, because it is our greatest asset. We must redeem the time, because the days are evil.

Message 2 (Evening) – ‘God’s Calling of the Prepared One’:

I am really touched by the fact that we can come to the Lord as the great I AM. For example, when we lack strength we can say ‘Lord, you are my strength’. When we lack boldness, we can say ‘Lord, be my boldness.’ The Lord can be everything to us, provided that we have no confidence in our natural ability in whatever area of limitation.

Message 4 (Evening) – ‘The Passover’:

The way to sin less is to eat Christ. Our focus should be on Christ, not on the sin because it is the eating of Christ that provides us with the energy to move out of Egypt, the world, and follow Him. Once we get into Christ by His precious blood, we must then learn to stay in Him (Exodus 12:22). Once we are in Christ, it does not matter what sins we have committed. God’s judgement will pass over us.

Amen.
