Preach the Gospel of the Kingdom to Propagate the Gene of the Kingdom into People

And He said, So is the kingdom of God: as if a man cast seed on the earth. Mark 4:26

The Triune God in humanity was sown into us as the divine gene to grow in us and develop into the kingdom of God; to preach the gospel of the kingdom is to propagate and develop the seed, the gene of the kingdom to consummate this age. Hallelujah!

This week we come to the last week in the series, Living in the Reality of the Kingdom of God, and our main topic is, Preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom and Discipling the Nations.

This is not just a reminder for us to preach the gospel of the kingdom, a burden which we should have, but that we know what the gospel of the kingdom is, live it out, and live a life of discipling the nations until the Lord returns.

May the Lord continue to burn in us with the gospel burden so that we may preach the gospel of the kingdom.

This gospel needs to be preached to the whole inhabited earth, and then the end will come.

The sign of the Lord’s return is not just the reformation of the nation of Israel, the restoration of Jerusalem under Israel, and even the rebuilding of the temple; all these are outward signs, which the Lord can accomplish quite easily.

But what about the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom throughout the inhabited earth?

Who knows what the gospel of the kingdom is and who preaches the gospel of the kingdom in the whole inhabited earth?

Who today lives in the reality of the kingdom of God?

The kingdom of God is very much misused, misunderstood, and neglected in Christianity, and most Christians don’t care for the kingdom of God.

We need to be brought back to the gospel of the kingdom and know what the gospel of the kingdom is, live in the reality of the kingdom, and speak this gospel until the consummation of the age.

It is one thing to know the kingdom in relation to the dispensations and realize that there are different dispensations throughout the ages, in which God related to His people in different ways.

The Brethren teachers called this dispensationalism, and even this is not totally received by Christians in the theological or Bible schools; in fact, there’s a lot of return to the so-called Reformed theology.

But in the church life we thank and praise the Lord that He has unveiled us to see not only the different dispensations throughout the ages and how God operates and works in these dispensations but even more, we can see and enjoy the kingdom of God as the realm of life!

The kingdom of God is not only composed of dispensations, such as the dispensation of the law, of grace, of the kingdom, etc, but even more, the kingdom of God is a realm of life, the realm of the divine life. Amen!

Preach the Gospel of the Kingdom for the Propagation and Development of the Seed of the Kingdom to Consummate this Age

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole inhabited earth for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come. Matt. 24:14

As believers in Christ who love the Lord and pursue Him to enjoy Him and be one with Him for the fulfilment of His purpose, we need to be those who follow the Lamb wherever He may go (Rev. 14:4).

We follow the Lamb today to preach the gospel of the kingdom to the whole inhabited earth for the propagation and development of the seed of the kingdom to consummate this age (Matt. 24:14; Mark 4:26).

We need to not only know and enjoy the gospel of the kingdom but even more, preach this gospel as a testimony on the whole heart so that the seed of the kingdom may grow and develop for God to gain a realm for Him to rule and reign on earth. Amen!

Many Christians and non-Christians think that the kingdom of God is like the kingdoms on earth today, a realm for someone to rule and do whatever they want to do.

But the Lord Jesus spoke a lot of parables concerning the kingdom in which He said that the kingdom is like a man casting seed on the earth (Mark 4:26). Wow!

The sower went forth to sow; what does this have to do with the kingdom?

If a policeman goes out to enforce the law, that makes sense, for in a kingdom there needs to be some who enforce the rules. But what does the sowing of the seed have to do with God’s kingdom?

Well, the Lord Jesus likens the coming of the kingdom with Him as the Sower going out to sow the seed of the kingdom, which is Himself, so that He may grow and develop in us.

And depending on the kind of soil that our heart is for the seed, there is a different growth and development of the seed in us, with the fruit being thirtyfold, sixtyfold, or a hundredfold.

This is the kingdom of God.

This must be confusing to the natural mind who is looking for a great king who rules with power; the kingdom of God, according to Christ, is like the little seed falling into the earth to grow and bear fruit.

And our heart is the soil in which the seed grows and bears fruit.

From a little seed, a great harvest comes forth. From a little seed, even a great tree grows.

When the little seed falls into the right earth, is watered, and grows with the nutrients of the soil, over time it can become a great tree or a fruit tree bearing fruit.

And if the seed is wheat, it grows to bear much fruit, and then it can be harvested. It all starts with a seed.

Nor will they say, Behold, here it is! or, There! For behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you. Luke 17:21 But if I, by the Spirit of God, cast out the demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. Matt. 12:28
What is the seed of the kingdom? It is Jesus Christ Himself. Jesus Christ, the incarnated God-man, even the Triune God in humanity, is the seed of the kingdom of God.

He came to us through His word, for He is embodied in the word, and we have received Him in our heart as the soil for Him to grow.

Now Christ as the seed of the kingdom is in the soil of our heart and grows in us to develop, mature, and bear fruit.

The Slave-Savior proclaimed the gospel of God, which brought in the kingdom of God (Mark 4:3; 1:14-15).

He came as a man to sow the seed of the kingdom through His speaking so that He may grow in us, develop in us, and become the kingdom of God in our being.

Christ sowed Himself as the kingdom seed into many human hearts, and He grows as the seed of the kingdom in and with the soil of the human heart to develop into a realm in which He can rule and reign.

May we let Him grow in us. The kingdom of God is Christ Himself (Luke 17:21; Matt. 12:28) as the seed sowing Himself into us to grow in us and develop in us.

Today we as believers in Christ have Christ as the seed of the kingdom growing in us and developing in us, and we need to cooperate with Him to preach the gospel of the kingdom so that we may sow Him as the kingdom seed into others to grow and develop in them.

This is for the consummation of this age, so that we may end this age and bring in the kingdom age, where we enjoy and partake of the manifestation of the kingdom.

Lord Jesus, thank You for sowing Yourslef as the seed of the kingdom into the soil of our heart to grow and develop in us into the kingdom of God! Hallelujah, Christ as the Sower came to sow Himself as the kingdom seed through His word into the soil of our heart! We open to You, Lord! Grow in us today! Grow a little more in our being and spread Yourself in us. We want to give You the nutrients You require so that the kingdom of God may spread and enlarge in us. We open our heart to You and we want to deal with any problems in our heart so that the kingdom seed may grow in us, develop in us, and bear fruit in us until there’s a harvest, the coming of the kingdom of God! Amen, Lord, we want to cooperate with You today to preach the gospel of the kingdom to the whole inhabited earth for the propagation and development of the see do the kingdom to consummate this age! Yes, Lord, may this gospel of the kingdom be preached to the whole inhabited earth as a testimony, and then the end will come!

The Triune God in Humanity Sows Himself into us as the Gene of the Kingdom to Grow, Live, and be Expressed in us to Develop into God’s Kingdom

And after John was delivered up, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of God, and saying, The time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God has drawn near. Repent and believe in the gospel. Mark 1:14-15

It is easy to understand John 3:16 where we are told that God loved us so much that He gave His only begotten Son to die for us.

But the gospel of the kingdom is a higher gospel, even the gospel that the Lord preached in Matthew, for the kingdom of God to come in.

The Triune God in humanity (Col. 2:9) is the seed of the kingdom of God, the gene of the kingdom, to be sown into us, God’s chosen people (Mark 4:26-29; 1 Cor. 3:6-9).

Christ as the Triune God in humanity sows Himself into us as the gene of the kingdom of God to grow in us, live in us, and be expressed from within us to develop into God’s ruling realm, the kingdom of God. Wow!

We see this happening with the Lord’s disciples; when He started His earthly ministry, He preached the gospel of the kingdom, charging men to repent of the kingdom.

And He said, So is the kingdom of God: as if a man cast seed on the earth, And sleeps and rises night and day, and the seed sprouts and lengthens - how, he does not know. The earth bears fruit by itself: first a blade, then an ear, then full grain in the ear. But when the fruit is ripe, immediately he sends forth the sickle, because the harvest has come. Mark 4:26-29
This was His sowing of Himself as the seed of the kingdom in His disciples; this seed grew in them for three and a half years, until after His death and resurrection, and on the day of Pentecost there was a harvest, the coming in of the kingdom of God.

In this period of growth, many things happened, many things in the disciples were exposed and dealt with, and the Lord had a way to grow.

Then, on the day of Pentecost, the kingdom came in and was clearly present with Peter and the one hundred twenty.

The kingdom of God is not like the kingdom of man; the kingdom of man is a matter of organization, but the kingdom of God is absolutely a matter of life.

The kingdom of God is the God-man, Jesus Christ, sown as a seed into us, His believers.

This seed grows in us and develops in us into a kingdom, which brings us to the destination so that God’s goal may be reached.

We can use the term gene – the gene of the kingdom – to illustrate this in a modern way.

The Triune God in humanity as the gene of the kingdom is sown into our being. Hallelujah!

Just as humanly speaking we came from a gene, and in the human gene are all the attributes, virtues, and features of our human being, so spiritually speaking, the gene of the kingdom of God is in us and grows in us, develops in us, and matures in us to bear fruit in us and become the kingdom of God in us! Hallelujah

! When we heard the gospel, the kingdom of God came into our heart – the gene of the kingdom was sown into us to grow in us.

The issue of the gospel is the kingdom of God. Today now we live in the church life as the continuation of the issue of the gene of the kingdom.

We live by enjoying Christ as the gene of the kingdom growing in us, developing in us, and spreading in us.

The kingdom of God doesn’t just fall on us from the sky; the gene of the kingdom comes into us by the hearing of the word of God, and the seed of the kingdom grows in us, develops in us, expands in us, and becomes the kingdom of God in us. Hallelujah!

The intrinsic element of the entire teaching of the New Testament is that the Triune God has been incarnated in order to be sown into His chosen people and develop within them into a kingdom.

This is what the Lord Jesus came for; He didn’t come just to die for us but even more, to sow Himself as the gene of the kingdom, the seed of the kingdom, into our being to grow in us.

There is the aspect of the appearance of the kingdom, the outward things that look like the kingdom, but there’s the intrinsic aspect also, the intrinsic aspect of the kingdom.

God’s salvation issues in the kingdom of God, having the goal of the kingdom.

I planted, Apollos watered, but God caused the growth. So then neither is he who plants anything nor he who waters, but God who causes the growth. Now he who plants and he who waters are one, but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor. For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's cultivated land, God's building. 1 Cor. 3:6-9
May there be more growth of the kingdom of God in us today.

He came to sow Himself as the seed, the gene of the kingdom in us, and we have received the Lord’s mercy to allow Him to grow in us.

Many rejected the Lord, but we have been shown mercy.

Now Christ is in us as the Triune God in humanity to be the gene of the kingdom of God, and He grows in us and develops in us. May we let Him grow.

May we let Him develop in our being.

And may we cooperate with Him to speak the word of God by exercising our spirit so that we may propagate Christ and sow the seed, the gene of the kingdom into others!

May we enjoy the wonderful One in us, the One who is our God, Lord, Saviour, Redeemer, Master, and life, and may we speak Him forth to others to propagate Him so that He may grow in others as the gene of the kingdom of God!

May we live in church life today as a continuation of the issue of the marvelous gene that is within us.

Lord Jesus, thank You for coming into our being as the seed of the kingdom, the gene of the kingdom of God! Wow, the very gene of God came into us to grow in us and with us until it develops and matures to become the realm of the kingdom of God! Amen, Lord, grow in us today! May the seed of the kingdom grow in us and develop in our being. We simply open to You; may there be a hidden, invisible, real growth of the seed of the kingdom of God. Fill us with Yourself. Spread in our mind, emotion, and will, and even flow out through us to others for them to receive the gene of the kingdom so that the kingdom of God may come in them! Amen, Lord, we give You more ground in our being so that You may grow in us. We want to cooperate with the growth of the seed of the kingdom. And we want to propagate the kingdom seed, the gene of the kingdom of God, so that the kingdom of God may be enlarged and propagated on the earth!

The kingdom of God is very different from the kingdom of man. The kingdom of man is a matter of organization. The kingdom of God is not a matter of organization; rather, the kingdom of God is absolutely a matter of life. What is the kingdom of God? The kingdom of God is actually the God-man, Jesus Christ, sown as a seed into His believers. After this seed has been sown into them, it will grow in them and eventually develop into a kingdom …This kingdom will bring us to the destination so that God’s goal may be reached …This goal is the full development of the kingdom of God. In order to make this matter clear, I would like to borrow a term from biology. This term is the word gene. The Triune God in humanity sown into our being is the gene of the kingdom. We know that without human genes it is impossible to have human life. Our birth, our being, and our existence all came from a gene. Now we must see that the Triune God in humanity has been sown into us to be the gene of the kingdom. Praise the Lord that this gene is within us! Eventually, the kingdom will issue from this gene. First, the kingdom is the issue of the gospel, and then it is the goal of the gospel. Between the issue and the goal we have the church. Do you know what the church is? The church is the continuation of the issue of the gene of the kingdom.

The kingdom of God is God Himself, even the Triune God in humanity sowing Himself as the seed, the gene, of the kingdom of God into us so that He may grow in us, live in us, and be expressed from within us to develop into the kingdom of God, God’s ruling realm. Hallelujah!

Christ came to sow Himself as the gene of the kingdom, and today we live in the church life as the continuation of the issue of the gene of the kingdom.

We must never forget that there is a marvellous gene within us.

This gene is no less than the Triune God in humanity.

Between the issue and the goal of this gene there is the church life as the continuation of the growth of the seed of life that Jesus has sowed into us through His word.

The kingdom of man is always a matter of organisation.

However, the kingdom of God is a matter of life.

May we seek the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind & might so that we would be good soil for the seed of life to grow & develop to its full capacity.

The kingdom of God is the reality of the church, which is brought forth by the resurrection life of Christ through the gospel (1 Cor. 4:15). Regeneration is the entrance to the kingdom (John 3:5), and the growth of the divine life within the believers is the kingdom’s development (2 Pet. 1:3-11). See note 1 in Mark 1:15. Mark 4:26 footnote 1 on, “kingdom.”

The seed of the divine life (1 John 3:9; 1 Pet. 1:23) sown into the Slave-Savior’s believers, indicating that the kingdom of God, which is the issue and goal of the Slave-Savior’s gospel, and the church in this age (Rom. 14:17) are a matter of life, the life of God, which sprouts, grows, bears fruit, matures, and produces a harvest; they are not a matter of lifeless organization produced through man’s wisdom and ability. The apostles’ words in 1 Cor. 3:6-9 and Rev. 14:4, 15-16 confirm this. Mark 4:26 footnote 3 on “seed”.

Genes, seeds, these are all very good metaphors for understanding the process of our salvation and transformation. But as for me, I just see Jesus.

I know we say we each have a portion of the living Christ in us. I used have the erroneous concept that it was as if the body of our Lord had been meted out, a bit at a time. Actually, as territory of the Kingdom, we each have a complete King. This is our maturity, our transformation.

So what is it that gets transferred from us to another when we “preach the gospel”? I believe it must be Christ Himself, complete, in order for the gospel to take, to be heard. We should not, I should not, preach out of duty nor obligation, but rather out of faith, hope and love for this wonderful One who lives complete in me and in all of us. Amen.
