This week we are enjoying a wonderful crucial point – to pray that the door may be opened for the Word (crucial point 10). See, enjoy, follow, pray over, and muse on the following resources / further references on this matter below. The previous crucial point can be found here.
Colossians 4:3 Praying at the same time for aus also, that God would open to us a 1door for the word, to speak the bmystery of Christ (because of which also I am cbound).
In [Col.] 4:3 Paul says, “Praying at the same time for us also, that God may open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, because of which also I have been bound.” In chapter three the last crucial point is to let the word of Christ dwell in us. The crucial point in chapter four, the last crucial point of the entire book, is to pray for the door to be opened for the word. The open door for the word is related to the divine speaking. In this matter I would recommend two books for you to prayerfully read — The Home Meetings — The Unique Way for the Increase and Building Up of the Church and The Divine Speaking. (Witness Lee, Elders Training Book 6: The Crucial Points of Truth in Paul’s Epistles, pp. 92-93)
Footnotes and Cross References: Col. 4:3, footnote 1 and cross references a to c.
