Participate in God’s Mind to have the Mind of Christ and Participate in God’s Being

And that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind. Eph. 4:23

Because we believers in Christ have become God-men through regeneration, we have the right to participate in God’s mind and have the anointing, the inner sense of life in our spirit, and we have the right to participate in God’s being.

The New Testament clearly tells us that as many as believe into Christ, that is, receive Him, they have the full right to become children of God, sons of God, born of God (John 1:12-13).

This means that we have been born into another kingdom to enter into another realm to be a new kind of person; we are no longer merely men but God-men, men born of God, men having the life and nature of God.

We were fallen men, but now we have the life of God in us in addition to our human life.

And because we have this life, we have certain unalienable rights; we have the right to participate in many aspects of God’s divinity!

First of all, we participate in God’s life and in His nature. Wow, we human beings can partake of the life of God, grow in the life of God, enjoy the life of God, and live by the life of God!

Day by day we can contact the Lord and fellowship with Him, and His life flows in us, grows in us, expands in our being, and is expressed through us.

This is something mysterious yet so wonderful.

It is truly a miracle that we, human beings, can partake of the life and nature of God to be God-men expressing God!

Christ died to bring us into the right position for us to partake of the riches of God’s divinity so that we may become the same as He is in life and nature but not in the Godhead.

We are blessed people, for we can wash our robes and partake of the tree of life, and we can enter into the city of New Jerusalem by the gates (Rev. 22:14).

May nothing distract us from exercising our divine right to enjoy God, experience God, and partake of God.

May we come forward to the Lord day by day by applying His precious blood to be cleansed from anything that His light exposes in us, and may we partake of Him as the tree of life.

As children of God, we are daily growing in the divine life and we realize more and more the riches of this life.

When we were born again, we did not realize that much what it means to be a child of God.

But as we enjoy the Lord, fellowship with Him, and meet with the saints, we enter into the enjoyment of our divine right to partake of what God is.

God Himself with all His being flows into us to supply us, water us, nourish us, and saturate us with what He is. We are partakers of God’s divine nature (2 Pet. 1:4).

May we remain in the word of God with an attitude of prayer and seeking the Lord so that the riches of His being may be infused into us day by day.

We have the Right to Participate in God’s Mind by Setting our Mind on our Spirit to have the Mind of Christ

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. Phil. 2:5

Phil. 2:5 says that we need to let the mind of Christ be in us; the same mind that was in Christ also needs to be in us.

Because we have become God-men through being born again of God, we have the right to participate in God’s mind.

We are in God, and we have the elements of God; however, we still have our mind, and we need to also have God’s mind in us.

It is our right to participate in God’s mind by setting our mind on our spirit.

May we let the same kind of thinking that was in Christ also be in us.

For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the spirit is life and peace. Rom. 8:6He emptied Himself, humbled Himself, taking the form of a slave; He was found in fashion as a man (Phil. 2:6-8), and He obeyed God even unto death, and that the death of a cross.

May we be one with Christ in His inward parts (1:8) so that we may have the mind of Christ.

May we be one with Him to the extent that His tender inward feeling and His thinking is in us.

We, human beings, have the right to participate in God’s mind by letting the mind of Christ be in us.

This means that we need to be renewed in the spirit of our mind (Eph. 4:23).

Our human spirit is regenerated and indwelt by the divine Spirit, and this mingled spirit needs to spread into our mind to become the spirit of our mind.

How can the spirit spread into our mind to become the spirit of our mind? It is by setting our mind on our spirit.

The more we set our mind on our spirit (Rom. 8:6), the more our spirit spreads into our mind to saturate it with the Lord’s element and with His mind, and our spirit becomes the spirit of our mind.

May we come to the Lord in His word day by day to set our mind on our spirit.

May we allow the mingled spirit to penetrate our mind, saturate our mind, and possess our mind so that our mind may become like the mind of Christ.

We believers in Christ have the right to participate in God’s mind by setting our mind on our spirit so that we may have the mind of Christ.

If we let Christ’s mind be our mind, we may have the mind of Christ (Phil. 2:5).

We have not only the life of Christ but also the mind of Christ (1 Cor. 2:16).

We may be a proud person, never being able to be humble; but when we set our mind on our spirit, we have the mind of Christ, and He never exalted Himself nor did He consider His equality with God as something to be grasped upon.

The more we set our mind on our spirit, the more the mind of Christ becomes our mind and we participate in God’s mind.

Christ must saturate our mind from our spirit, making our mind one with His mind.

As we set our mind on our spirit, something wonderful happens: the Lord is moving within us as the anointing to lead us and guide us in all things (1 John 2:27).

When the anointing is moving within us, it anoints God into us and reveals God’s mind to us.

The Spirit’s leading doesn’t derive from nor does it depend upon outward things; it is an issue of the inner life.

When we set our mind on our spirit, we have an inner sense of life and peace.

We have the consciousness of the divine life within us.

Lit., think this in you. This refers to the considering in v. 3 and the regarding in v. 4. This kind of thinking, this kind of mind, was also in Christ when He emptied Himself, taking the form of a slave, and humbled Himself, being found in fashion as a man (vv. 7-8). To have such a mind requires us to be one with Christ in His inward parts (Phil. 1:8). To experience Christ, we need to be one with Him to this extent, that is, in His tender inward feeling and in His thinking. Phil. 2:5, footnote 1 on "Let this mind", Recovery Version BibleThe leading of the Spirit is a matter of life, the divine life in our spirit spreading into our mind to saturate our mind and to anoint us with God and all that He is.

There’s an inner sense from the divine life within us, from the consciousness of the divine life in our spirit.

It is by that sense that we can know this divine life.

We all can testify that, when we set our mind on our spirit, we are inwardly strengthened and satisfied, and we sense being watered and refreshed.

By this inner sense we can know the divine life in us, and by this sense of life, we can know that we’re walking rightly.

May we listen to the Lord’s inner leading by the anointing in our spirit.

May we simply set our mind on our spirit and allow the Spirit to anoint us, seal us, transform us, and bring into us the essence and ingredients of God with His life and nature.

May we never disobey or violate the inner sense of life in our spirit, for this is the leading of the Spirit in us.

May we give heed to the sense of life, the leading of the anointing, so that we may be under the Lord’s leading.

May we set our mind on our spirit and walk according to the spirit so that we may be led by the Spirit in all the details of our daily life.

Lord Jesus, we exercise our right to participate in God’s mind by setting our mind on our spirit! Hallelujah, the mind set on the spirit is life and peace. We choose to set our mind on our mingled spirit and we allow the spirit to spread into our mind. Amen, Lord, we want to be renewed in the spirit of our mind so that we may have the mind of Christ. May the mind of Christ become our mind. Yes, Lord Jesus, may the same mind that was in You when You were on earth become our mind today. We want to be one with You in Your inward parts, even in Your tender feelings and in Your thinking. May Your thinking become our thinking. May our mind be saturated and possessed by the Lord so that we may participate in God’s mind. Oh Lord Jesus, we treasure having the anointing teaching us in all things. We want to give heed to the teaching of the anointing and obey the inner sense of life and peace.

As God-men, We Believers in Christ have the Right to Participate in God’s Being

But we all with unveiled face, beholding and reflecting like a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord Spirit. 2 Cor. 3:18 To me, less than the least of all saints, was this grace given to announce to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ as the gospel. Eph. 3:82 Corinthians 3:18 is a wonderful verse telling us that we as believers in Christ have the right to participate in God’s being.

In this verse, we see that we, with an unveiled face, can behold and reflect like a mirror the glory of the Lord to be transformed into the same image as His, even as from the Lord Spirit.

On one hand, we can participate in God’s image, but on the other hand, we can participate in God’s being, for this transformation into His image is carried out by the Lord Spirit.

What is this “Lord Spirit”?

The Lord Spirit is a compound title of Lord and Spirit; the Lord is the Spirit, and as the Lord Spirit He imparts the riches of His being into us to transform us into the image of Christ.

Our basis for saying that we have the right to participate in God’s being is Paul’s word in 2 Cor. 3:18 about our being transformed with God’s very being.

How are we transformed into the image of Christ? It is from the Lord Spirit.

The Lord Spirit imparts and dispenses all the riches of God’s being into our being so that there would be a metabolic process going on, a process of transformation, for us to be in the image of Christ.

The dispensing of the unsearchable riches of Christ into us (Eph. 3:8) means that we participate not only in God’s life, nature, and mind but also in His being. Wow!

The very being of God, what He is in His being with all His riches, can become our experience and enjoyment today.

This is what He desires.

He desires not that we outwardly worship and revere Him, always obeying Him or else; He desires to impart the riches of His being into us to transform us organically into the image of Christ.

We as God-men have the right to participate in God’s mind, and we also have the right to participate in God’s being.

We can turn our heart to the Lord and remove any veil from our eyes to behold the Lord with an unveiled face.

Next, the God-men have the divine right to participate in God’s being. Our basis for saying this is Paul’s word in 2 Corinthians 3:18 about our being transformed into the Lord’s image “even as from the Lord Spirit.” This indicates that the work of transformation is done not by something of the Lord Spirit but by the Lord Spirit Himself. Hence, we are being transformed with God’s very being. In Ephesians 3:8 Paul speaks of the unsearchable riches of Christ, indicating that these riches have been dispensed into us. The unsearchable riches of Christ are the riches of Christ’s being, the riches of what Christ is. For the unsearchable riches of Christ to be dispensed into us means that we participate not only in God’s life, nature, and mind but also in His being. Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1994-1997, vol. 4, “Incarnation, Inclusion, and Intensification,” pp. 215-216When we do this, when we behold the Lord in prayer in in His word face to face, the Lord dispenses the unsearchable riches of Christ into our being.

It is like Moses spending time with God on the mountain: the glory of God is wrought into him to the extent that even his face was shining.

When we truly touch the Lord and spend time with Him, having face-to-face time with Him in our spirit, the Lord Spirit dispenses the riches of Christ into us and we are being transformed into the same image as Christ.

God’s very being is conveyed and infused into us.

All the unsearchable riches of Christ are conveyed and infused into our being so that our inner being is reconstituted with the being of God, with all the riches of Christ.

In this way, we are being transformed with God’s very being.

This is something intrinsic and organic resulting in an outward conformation to the image of Christ.

We are today in this process of being daily infused with the riches of Christ until we become His fullness, His corporate expression.

We may not know what is happening in our being, but the more we spend time with the Lord, the more He infuses the riches of His being into us to reconstitute us with Himself and transform us into the image of Christ.

Lord Jesus, thank You for giving us the right to participate in God’s being. Hallelujah, we can come to the Lord with an unveiled face to behold Him and reflect Him, and we are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord Spirit! Amen, Lord, we open to You today. We open our whole being to You. We turn our heart to You. Infuse us more with all that You are. Infuse us with the riches of Christ, the unsearchable riches of the all-inclusive Christ. May we remain under the daily infusion and transfusion of all that God is in Christ as the Spirit. Oh Lord, dispense Yourself with all Your riches into us so that we may participate in God’s being. Amen, Lord, may we be transformed with God’s very being so that we may look like Christ, being conformed to His image. Hallelujah, we as God-men have the right to participate in God’s being!

The leading of the Spirit does not derive from nor depend upon outward things. The leading of the Spirit is an issue of the inner life. I would say that it comes from the sense of life, from the consciousness of the divine life within us. The word life is mentioned at least five times in Romans 8. Hence, the leading of the Spirit is a matter of life, a matter of the sense and consciousness of life. The mind set upon the spirit is life (v. 6). How can we know this life? Not by outward things but by the inward sense and consciousness of life. There is an inward sense which comes from setting the mind upon the spirit. If our mind is set upon our spirit, we are immediately strengthened and satisfied inwardly. We also are watered and refreshed. By that sense and consciousness we can know the life within us, and by this sense of life we can know that we are walking rightly. In other words, we know that we are under the leading of the Spirit. Therefore, the leading of the Spirit in verse 14 does not depend on outward things; it absolutely depends upon the sense of life within our spirit. You should not violate this inner sense or disobey this inward consciousness, for it is truly the leading of the Spirit…The inward life gives you the sense, even in small things, of whether or not you are under the Lord’s leading. Thus, we are led of the Spirit by walking according to spirit and by setting our mind upon the spirit.

We have the right to participate in the mind of Christ by letting His mind be in us.

We need to exercise our spirit and let the Spirit spread into our mind to renew our mind so that we may have the anointing, the instant leading of the Lord.

May we follow this sense of life in our spirit and never disobey it!

Lord Jesus, may Your mind become our mind. Renew us in the spirit of our mind. We choose to set our mind on our spirit!

We God-men have the right to participate in the very mind, and even the being, of Christ.

We can have a divine mind and being!

The more we walk according to spirit and set our mind on the spirit, the more our mind & being become like God’s mind & being.

The more we allow the mingled spirit to saturate our mind & being, the more are the unsearchable riches of Christ our riches too.

Hallelujah, we have the right not only to participate in God’s life, nature & mind, but also in His being.

Truly, eye has not seen nor ear heard what God has in store for those who love Him.

May we cleave to the One who is making us as He is in both image & likeness…

Hallelujah brother we have a divine right!

Through the fall of man, we gave up and lost our right.

But now in Christ this right has been restored!

We can and are now paricipating in all the God is to us.
