Our Greatest Need is to Get into the Truth and be Trained in the Divine Revelation

Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience. 1 Tim. 3:9 - Our Greatest Need is to Get into the Truth and be Trained in the Divine Revelation

Our greatest need today is to get into the truth and be trained in the divine revelation so that we may be constituted with the truth.

We thank the Lord for the Bible, the Word of God, which contains the divine truth; however, we need to see that we need to uphold the truth by learning the truth, experiencing the truth, and being able to speak the truth.

For this, we need to devote time and energy, even our whole being, that we may get into the truth.

The church is the pillar and base of the truth, and as the church, we need to testify for the truth by being constituted with the truth.

The Lord Jesus testified in front of Pilate that He was born for this, that He may testify to the truth, and He Himself is the truth.

As the supporting pillar and holding base of the truth, we need to be constituted with the truth so that may be solid in the truth, even become the embodiment of truth.

Truth is not something that we merely know; truth becomes our constitution, for we need to be constituted with the truth so that we may uphold the truth.

The truth is what stands forever; people come and people go, kingdoms rise and kingdoms fall, a culture is prevailing and then it fades away, and leaders come and leaders go, but what remains is the divine reality, the Triune God as the divine reality being infused into His seeking ones.

The truth is not merely what we know from the Bible concerning justification by faith, the head covering, the foot washing, or about bread breaking; the truth is not merely the correct and sound doctrine concerning one church in one city or calling on the name of the Lord.

The truth is Christ Himself; He came as the way, the reality (the truth), and the life, and He spoke the truth, He was the embodiment of truth, and truth was found in Him in every way.

God is the truth; Christ is the truth; the Spirit is the Spirit of truth; the word of God is the truth.

Truth refers not merely to some kind of a doctrine or teaching; truth refers to the Triune God being wrought into our being to become the divine reality lived out in us, for us to have the same kind of life as Jesus did, for God to be manifested in the flesh.

When Christ came, He manifested the Father; when others saw Him, they saw the Father, and when He spoke, the Father spoke through Him.

Apart from this one, apart from Christ, nothing is real or meaningful; apart from Christ as the Spirit to be the divine reality wrought into our being to make us the church as the pillar and base of the truth, everything is vanity.

The fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily in Christ; Christ as the Head of the Body is the reality, the truth, so the Body of Christ is also the reality, the truth.

We need to be constituted with and inwrought by the divine reality to such an extent that we become the embodiment of the divine truth, living out the divine reality, for God to be manifested and expressed in the flesh.

We as the church bear CHrist as the reality; our reality is Christ, and this One as the reality is wrought into us to make us real, even to become our subjective reality and be lived out through us as our truthfulness, reality, which was wrought into us and is now lived out of us. Amen!

When we touch the Word of God, we receive the Spirit; the Living Truth builds up the Church

It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words which I have spoken to you are spirit and are life. John 6:63 The opening of Your words gives light, / Imparting understanding to the simple. Psa. 119:130The Bible is THE most amazing and extraordinary book in the world; it is the book that changed more lives than any other book, for it contains God’s speaking.

If today on the earth among the human race there had never been such a book as the Bible, we would all be in darkness, and we would not have a meaningful life.

We thank and praise the Lord that, for the past two thousand years, the Bible was available for man to read to know God and gain God.

And the main reason we can know God in His word is that His word contains the Spirit; when we touch the Word of God with our spirit, having a heart open to Him, we touch the Spirit.

When we contact the Lord in His word, praying to Him the words in the Bible with the exercise of our spirit, we will receive the Spirit, for the Spirit is in the Word.

The Lord Jesus said that the word He speaks are Spirit and are life (John 6:63); when we come to the Word of God and touch the Word with our spirit, we receive the Spirit, and this Spirit is solid, for it is the truth.

Our experience confirms that, as we open to the Lord in coming to His word, we touch the Spirit, and the truth in the Word of God becomes living.

The living truth in the word of God produces the church, helps the church exist, and dispenses Christ into us.

It is so profitable, therefore, for us to read the Bible, prayerfully read the footnotes in the Recovery Version, and study the Bible with the help of the life-studies, for we gain more of the living truth, and our very being is constituted with the truth.

The Lord’s recovery is for the processed Triune God to be dispensed into us, and when we come to the Word of God with the exercise of our spirit, the Bible is an open book to us, and we receive the divine dispensing!

How much we need more of the living truth to be infused into us to produce the church, help the church exist, and build up the church!

Suppose that on this earth among the human race there had never been such a book as the Bible. If we had not had a Bible in our hands during the past two thousand years since the Lord Jesus resurrected and ascended to the heavens, everything would be in the air, and nothing could be solid. Even the things concerning the Spirit could not be solid. The Spirit depends upon the Word. This is why the Lord said that the words that He has spoken to us are spirit (John 6:63). The words that the Lord speaks are the solid spirit...There are a great many instances, however, that show us that when you touch the Word, you get the Spirit. This is history. A principle has been set up through history that there is the desperate need of the living truth to produce the church, to help the church exist, and to build up the church. Elders' Training, Book 03: The Way to Carry Out the Vision, Chapter 10, by Witness LeeHow much we need to dive into the truth, gain the living truth, and even be educated in the truth so that we would not only get a temporary inspiration from the Word of God but the solid truth would be constituted into our being to make us part of the church as the pillar and base of the truth.

As we dive into the truth in the Bible with the help of the ministry that properly interprets the word of God, we are constituted with the living Christ, the Spirit, life, and the church, the crucial contents of the Lord’s recovery.

The opening of the Lord’s word gives light (Psa. 119:130); when we open to the Lord in His Word, we not only receive more spiritual knowledge from the Word of God but we gain the living truth, and our very being is constituted with the truth for the building up of the church.

We may think that we only need to exercise our spirit and live in the spirit, and everything will be alright; however, the Spirit is found in the Word of God, for it is when we touch the Word with our spirit that we receive the living truth, we are constituted with the truth, and we can walk in the truth.

Such an inner constitution with the truth, such an enjoyment of the living truth, is for the church to be built up, for it is the living truth that produces the church, helps the church exist, and builds up the church.

Thank You, Lord, for the Bible, the Word of God! How we love the Bible! How we love to come to the Lord in His word to contact Him, enjoy Him, and receive His divine light as we read the Word! Amen, Lord, we come to You again and again in Your word to take You in, to contact You, and to obtain the living truth. May we have the divine light shine on the Word of God as we read the Bible. Amen, Lord, may the word become the living truth in us, speaking to us, nourishing us, exposing us, building us up, and accomplishing God’s purpose in us. How much we need the living truth to produce the church, to help the church exist, and to build up the church!

Our Greatest Need is to Get into the Truth and be Trained in the Divine Revelation

Who desires all men to be saved and to come to the full knowledge of the truth. 1 Tim. 2:4God desires all men to be saved and come to the full knowledge of the truth (1 Tim. 2:4); He wants us not only to be saved but also to come to the full knowledge and apprehension of the divine reality.

Our need is not just to have some good meetings, to gain a lot of increase, to have many saints gathered together, or to have a good church life; our need is to bring the saints into the truth.

The greatest need that we must meet is to bring the saints into the truth; all the saints need to be trained in the divine revelation, so that we all may have the full knowledge of the truth.

On one hand, we are educated in the divine revelation by reading the Bible, by reading the footnotes in the Recovery Version, and by reading and studying the life-study messages; all these are very helpful to cause the truth to be constituted into us.

As believers in Christ, we need to uphold the truth (1 Tim. 3:9, 15; 2 Tim. 2:15).

We uphold the truth by getting the top spiritual education.

Today the word of God is readily and widely available to most people in the world, for it was translated and mass-distributed everywhere.

However, merely reading the Bible doesn’t bring you to the full knowledge of the truth; merely opening the Bible and reading what it contains doesn’t bring in the living truth.

But praise the Lord, we have a key, an opener for the Bible – we have the Recovery Version, the footnotes, and the life-studies; with the help of these writings, we can get the top spiritual education, and the Word of God will be open to us.

Our greatest need is to enter into the truth and bring all the saints into the truth so that we may all be trained in the divine revelation for us to be constituted with the truth.

For a country to be strong, the people in that country need to be educated and properly equipped; for us to uphold the truth, we need to be educated spiritually and have a high standard of truth.

The standard of the Lord’s recovery depends upon the standard of the truth that we put out; the truths will be the measure and the standard.

I rejoiced greatly that I have found [some] of your children walking in truth, even as we received commandment from the Father. 2 John 1:4 How can we come up to the standard of the truth in the church life? We need to find a way that we all would be brought into a proper education of the truth concerning God’s New Testament economy.

Both on a personal level and when we get together corporately, we need to be in the truth and be properly educated in the truth.

The church is the supporting pillar and the holding base of the truth; the entire church is such a base and a pillar, so all the saints need to be constituted with the truth until they live out the truth and speak the truth.

All the saints – not just the leading brothers, the co-workers, and the elders – need to be constituted with the truth by having a proper spiritual education, even by being properly trained in the divine revelation.

We cannot rely on “pastors” or “elders” to know the truth for us or open up the Word of God to us; we need to get into the truth, contact the Word of God with our spirit, use the ministry books to dive deeper into the Word of God, and pay the price to be constituted with the truth.

Both personally and corporately, we need to be properly educated in the divine revelation, and we need to learn the truth, be constituted with the truth, walk in the truth, and speak the truth.

Lord Jesus, we want to have the top spiritual education in the truth so that we may be the church as the pillar and base of the truth. Save us from merely skating on the surface of the truth, knowing in part and not in full. May we all be brought into a proper education of the truth concerning God’s New Testament economy. Amen, Lord, may there be a high standard of truth among us so that together as the church would be the supporting pillar and holding base of the truth. Show us our need to be trained in the divine revelation, and strengthen us to pay the price to be constituted with the truth. Amen, Lord, we want to be constituted with the truth so that the living truth may become our very being and we may speak the truth!
