As believers in Christ who have been chosen, redeemed and regenerated by God, we are one with God, constituted with God, live God, express God, move with God, and represent God so that we may function as the acting God. Amen!
It is not only Paul that could be the acting God but also us, the believers in Christ who follow the pattern of Paul.
Actually, Paul was shown mercy by God to be a pattern to all those who believe. He was the top sinner, even breathing murder against believers, going from house to house to persecute them and put them in prison.
But God was rich in mercy toward him, and he was shown mercy by God to not only become a leading apostle but even more, to be a pattern for those who believe into the Lord.
We need to believe in God that, since He had such a rich way to take a top sinner such as Paul and make him the acting God, one who expressed and represented God, He will also do the same with us. He can do it in us.
We should not listen to the enemy’s lie but rather, we should exercise our spirit to believe in God and exercise our heart to love the Lord, giving ourselves to Him to be those who are in fact one with God, constituted with God, so that we may move with God, express God, and represent God to be the acting God.
God has an economy and, according to the highest peak of the divine revelation, He wants to make us the same as Christ in life, nature, expression, and function.
Whether we believe this or not, whether we think this is possible or not, God will do it; He will work Himself into us and will make us the same as Christ in every possible way so that we may match Him as His counterpart.
We believe in the truth in the word of God, we say Amen to the highest peak of the divine revelation, and we want to cooperate with God for Him to do what He needs to do in us for the fulfilment of His economy.
The Triune God as the Spirit now lives in us; He chose us in eternity past to be holy in Christ, and we are partakers of the divine nature.
We have been predestinated in Christ unto sonship.
Our destiny is to be fully sons of God expressing Him. What a blessing it is for us to know this highest truth that God became a man to make man God in life and in nature but not in the Godhead.
He not only chose us but also came into us to regenerate us, and He puts His life into us; now this life grows in us and shapes us in the image of Christ.
It is because of His life in us that we can be fully one with God and constituted with God, we can love God, express God, move with God, represent God and be the acting God.
As God’s Chosen, Redeemed, and Regenerated People, we should be One with God
He who is joined to the Lord is one spirit (1 Cor. 6:17).
By believing into Christ, one part of our being is one with God; we are one with God in our mingled spirit.
The basic principle in the Bible is that, in His economy, God is making Himself one with us and He is making us one with Him organically (John 15:4). Wow!
By believing into Christ, we have been grafted into Him, and God is making Himself one with us and us one with Him.
This is happening with us today; day by day, God is making us one with Him. He is not stopping or giving up but rather, in a relentless way, He is working to make us fully one with Him.
He knows what to do, how to deal with us, and how to operate in us so that we may be one with Him.
God desires to make Himself one with us and make us one with Him.
He desires that the divine life and the human life be joined together to become one life that has one living. We are becoming humanly divine and divinely human.
We are not becoming spiritual in a peculiar or strange way; we are becoming like Jesus in our organic oneness with Him.
We have been grafted into Him and He has been grafted into us; our daily life needs to be in this organic union with the Lord.
In everything we do, we take Him as our source and we check with Him concerning all things. In big things and small things, we come to the Lord again and follow HIs sense of life and peace within.
Even in such small things as getting a piece of cake or enjoying an ice cream, we learn to be one with the Lord, even one spirit with Him.
The more we live in the organic union with the Lord, the more human we become, but we are Jesusly human.
The more we become the same as God in life and in nature, the more truly human in Jesus we become.
Lord Jesus, keep us in our mingled spirit today. We want to live one spirit with You. We treasure our organic union with You. Thank You for making us Your dwelling place. Thank You for making us one spirit with You. Amen, Lord, we want to live in the mingled spirit with You, one spirit with You all the time. Make us the same as You are. May we become Jesusly human, expressing You all the time!
We need to be One with God and Constituted with God so that we may live God
It is true that we are one with God; however, we need to go and be constituted with God and live in the organic union with the Lord so that we may live God.
We need to allow Christ to make His home in our heart (Eph. 3:17) until we are fully one with Him, even until He makes Himself us and us Him (Col. 3:10-11).
Christ needs to become our all in all. We need to let Christ make His home in our heart until our inward parts are filled with compassion, kindness, lowliness, meekness, long-suffering, and all the inward parts of Christ, without pretense.
God’s economy is to dispense Himself into our being so that our being may be constituted with His being to be one constitution with His being.
He wants to dispense Himself into us to the extent that our very constitution is Christ; He becomes us by constituting Himself into us.
In the divine life and by the working of the law of the divine life, God will be wrought into us, and we will be constituted with Him in His life and nature (Rom. 8:2, 6, 10-11, 29). This is amazing.
He is constituting us with Himself not by removing what we are, obliterating our personality, and completely replacing us with Him. No.
He works Himself into us by coming into us as life and dispensing Himself by means of the law of the Spirit of life until all our inner being is released from death, infused with life, and even filled with the divine life so that God would become the very fibre of our being.
The One who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to our mortal bodies.
Our spirit is life, our soul is made life by our mind being set on our spirit (Rom. 8:2), and even our body becomes life.
As those who are one with God and constituted with God, we should live God (Phil. 1:21).
We do not merely live for God or with God but live God.
This is what Paul testified: to me, to live, is Christ. We need to live Christ according to God’s economy.
God’s intention is to impart His element, His substance, and the ingredients of His nature into our being so that we may live Christ.
We have been crucified with Christ and it is no longer us who lives but it is Christ who lives in us (Gal. 2:20).
And the life which we now live we live in faith, the faith of the Son of God who loved us and died not only for millions of people but for us so that He may live in us.
Our response to the Lord’s dying love is that we open to Him in a fresh way and we let Him live in us.
As we open to Him and let Him live in us, we live by faith, the faith of the Son of God.
This faith is of the Son; the faith is the Son. His elements, His ingredients, and His substance is wrought into us to become our constitution, and the result is that we live God.
Our daily living should actually be God Himself; we should have a life of constantly living God.
This is something gradual. Little by little, day by day, as we contact the Lord and absorb Him, He is working Himself into us and we live Him out a little more.
As we exercise our spirit, the Lord as the Spirit spreads from our spirit into all the parts of our soul, and our mind is renewed, our emotion is balanced, and our will is subdued and attuned to the Lord’s will.
As the mingled spirit spreads into our soul, beginning from our mind and continuing with our emotion and will, the Christ who dwells in us fills our inner being has a way to live in us, and we live Christ.
Little by little, we are being transformed. As we behold the Lord face to face, having all veils removed, we are infused with Him and we reflect Him in our living (2 Cor. 3:18).
He as glory is working Himself into us and He shines through us until we express Him in our daily living.
God’s aim in His economy is that we would be one with Him and live Him for His corporate expression (1 Cor. 6:17; Phil. 1:21; Eph. 1:22-23).
It is not that some of us express Him on our own, and the others watch us; we all arrive, we are all in the process of arriving at the measure of the fullness of Christ, at a full-grown man, for us to express Him corporately, with all the saints.
Lord Jesus, we want to be one with You and be constituted with You so that we may live Christ for His expression. Amen, Lord, we believe that we have been crucified with Christ and it is no longer us who live but Christ who lives in us. We just want to remain in the organic union with You, for it is in this linking faith that we can live Christ to express Him. Keep us beholding You, dear Lord, so that we may be infused with Your element and we may reflect You to others. May our soul be fully open to You, fully unveiled toward You, so that You may work Yourself into our mind, emotion, and will! Amen, Lord, transform our soul so that we can express You. Our aim is to be one with You so that we may live You for Your corporate expression!
Being those who Move with God and Represent God so that we may Function as the Acting God
As those who express God, we should move with God (Josh. 1:1-9; 6:1-16).
We can move with God only if we are one with God.
First, we need to enjoy God, be filled with God, be constituted with God, and be one with God, and then we can express God and move with God.
We move with God based upon our being one with Him, constituted with Him, living Him, and expressing Him.
God needed the children of Israel to cooperate with Him in His move in His economy as the great wheel.
He didn’t just send angels to clear the land before the people of Israel; He didn’t speak a word and the enemies were destroyed; He needed His people’s cooperation.
We need to be one with God in His heart’s desire and in His move on earth (Eph. 1:5, 9; Rev. 14:1-4).
It is a shame to God when someone who is naturally gifted, eloquent, capable, and highly intelligent takes the lead to do something for God without being one with God and one with God’s heart’s desire.
The issue of such a work is that he gains a kingdom for himself; he thinks he was sent somewhere to make a work for himself. Oh, Lord Jesus!
We need to be those who move with God by being one with God and by being one with His heart’s desire.
Our heart needs to be purified from any impure desire and intention, any ambition for a position, and any yearning to do something for ourselves. As we move with God, we should represent God (Gen. 1:26-28).
We are created to do this; we are made in God’s image so that we may express Him and represent Him. In order to represent God with His authority, we must express God in His life.
Because Aaron had the resurrection life to express God, he also had the authority to represent God (Num. 17:1-8).
The proper way for us to work for God is to represent God (Exo. 7:1-2).
When we work for God by being one with God, we not only express Him but also represent Him.
For this to happen, the Lord has to work on our being and deal with anything of the self, the flesh, and the natural man, so that He would make us the faithful ones, those who labour in and by Him as the source and the need.
There’s a great need for a proper genuine representation of God in the church life today.
If we are one with God, constituted with God, live God, express God, move with God, and represent God, we can function as the acting God.
God is able to make us, His believers, the same as He is in life, nature, expression, and function to carry out His economy (Col. 3:4; 2 Pet. 1:4; Eph. 3:9).
In 2 Kings 4:9 we see that Elisha the prophet, a man of God, behaved himself in his ministry as God’s representative, as the acting God.
Similarly, we today, the believers in Christ, can function in God’s economy as the acting God (1 Tim. 6:11; 2 Tim. 3:17).
May we be those who cooperate with God in His work in us and on us, and may we be one with God and constituted with God so that we may live God, express God, move with God, and represent God so that we may function as the acting God on earth.
Lord Jesus, we want to be one with You to express You and move with You. May we give You the cooperation You need for You to move on earth and do what You want to do today. Amen, Lord, we want to cooperate with You in Your move in Your economy as the great wheel. We want to be one with You in Your heart’s desire and in Your move on the earth. Make us those who move one with You and also represent You. May this be our work for God: our expressing God and representing God. Amen, Lord, we want to be those who are one with God and constituted with God! We want to live God, express God, move with God, and represent God, so that we may function as the acting God today! Hallelujah God is able to make us the same as He is in life, nature, expression, and function to carry out His economy! Make us one with You, dear Lord, in every way that You will see on the earth Your corporate expression, and You will be able to move unhindered through all Your dear saints! Hallelujah, glory be to God!
