Spiritual warfare is necessary today because Satan rose against God, Satan’s will is in conflict with God’s will, and for the kingdom of God we need to subdue the satanic will; we believers take the lead to submit to God’s will and establish God’s kingdom by fighting one with the Lord to subdue the satanic will.
Amen, Lord, may Your kingdom come and Your will be done in us and around us, even on the earth, as it is in heaven!
On the one hand, we believers in Christ are part of the bride of Christ, loving Him and depending on Him in everything; we are the weak ones who depend on the Lord in all things, taking Him as our life and person.
On the other hand, we are part of the spiritual warrior, for the bride of Christ is a bridal army fighting one with the Lord against Satan and his kingdom.
It is very interesting to read Revelation 19 and see that, when the proclamation is made that the bride has made herself ready, that is, when the overcomers have become the prepared bride, there was both a wedding feast and a great battle.
On the one hand, the bride enjoys a one-thousand-year wedding feast together with the Lord, reigning with Him and feasting with Him in the millennium.
On the other hand, the bride follows the Lamb as the General into battle, and the enemy of God is being dealt with, even destroyed; also all those who follow Satan are dealt with. Very interesting. So there’s both the wedding feast and the battle.
The overcomers follow the Lord in white linen, and He fights the battle, while they simply follow Him and enjoy the spoils.
This means that we are becoming not only the bride of Christ but the armies of God, even the bridal army, the bride which is the army and the army which is the bride.
This is why today we need to cooperate with the Lord to subdue the enemy and reject his attacks, even to allow Him to deal with Satan and his ground in our being so that we may overcome in the Lord and with the Lord.
As we overcome today, as we fight the battle in the Lord and in the Body today, we will on that day fight one with Him and simply declare His victory, and the enemy will be destroyed and subdued.
Our dear Bridegroom, the most wonderful and lovely person in the universe, the Lord Jesus, is also our General; He leads us as His armies into victory.
He has already overcome; now He overcomes in us, and eventually, He will overcome in a full way, even openly and manifestly, when He will crush Satan and his armies, and He will destroy the Antichrist and all those who follow him.
Amen, we want to be there for that battle, standing with the Lord and declaring His victory!
We Choose God’s Will by Repenting, Believing, and being Baptised for the Defeat of the Satanic Will

How we thank and praise the Lord that He has chosen us in eternity past, and He has predestinated us unto sonship through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will (Eph. 1:5)!
We believers in Christ have been chosen by God and predestinated by Him to be His sons! How wonderful!
In time, however, when the Lord came to us through the gospel and exposed us of our sins, rebellion, and dirtiness, we repented and believed into the Lord Jesus.
When we repented and believed into the Lord Jesus, we received the divine life and we became children of God; we were transferred out of the authority of darkness into the kingdom of the Son of God’s love (Col. 1:13).
Through repentance and faith into Christ, we became part of the kingdom of God. We need to realise that there are three wills in this universe, and they are related to two kingdoms.
First, there’s the divine will, the will of God, which is uncreated; God is self-existing and ever-existing, and He has an uncreated, perfect, divine will. He created all things and all persons, and one of the angels, who also has a free will, rebelled against God.
Lucifer became proud because of his high position and his beauty, and he had an evil intention, which became the satanic will (Isa. 14:12-14).
Now in addition to God’s intention and will, there’s a second intention and will, the satanic will; the satanic will is set against the divine will.
Whatever God wants to do, Satan wants to destroy. God wants many positive things, even to have a corporate expression of Himself; Satan is completely against God, always seeking to frustrate and stop the will of God from being fulfilled.
God created man in His image and according to His likeness, and He put man in front of the tree of life; Satan, God’s enemy, came and deceived man to partake of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, and he managed to inject himself into man before God could come into man.
God, however, is a great and large person at heart; He did not create man with a will that automatically chooses God; He gave man a free will.
This is the third will in the universe; there’s the divine will, the satanic will, which is against the divine will, and the human will.
The human will is in the middle, and it needs to choose one or the other. All the warfare in the world and all conflict in this universe is due to this conflict of wills between God and Satan.
The controversy in the universe began with Satan’s rebellion against God; this rebellion was the beginning of all the fighting that is now taking place among the nations, in society, in the family, and even within us as individuals.
There’s conflict not only among the nations or in the human society, but even within us there’s a conflict.
We all can testify that we have a good intention and a reasoning, but lust is at war with it, and we fail all the time; we do not the good which we want to do but the evil which is present with us, which always defeats us. Oh Lord!
There are many kinds of warfare in society and in the world, and all the different kinds of warfare have their source in the controversy between the divine will and the satanic will.
Thank the Lord that He chose us and predestinated us to be His children! When the Lord had mercy on us and we repented and believed into the Lord Jesus, our human will sided with the divine will, and the satanic will was defeated.
God gave us free will; He would never force us to obey Him. In His greatness, God gave us freedom of choice.
The first man, Adam, exercised his free will under Satan’s deception to partake of the wrong tree, and sin came into mankind.
But thank the Lord that, through repentance and faith into Christ, we chose God’s will, and we took sides with the divine will for the defeat of the satanic will.
The Bible tells us that we must repent for the kingdom (Matt. 4:17). To enter into the kingdom of God, we must repent and believe into the Lord Jesus; then, we must be baptised.
Through repentance, we turn from Satan’s side to the side of God; we choose God, we choose the will of God, and we dissociate ourselves from Satan and his will.
After we repent and choose the divine will, we must be baptised; through baptism, we are brought out of the authority of darkness and are transferred into the kingdom of the Son of God’s love (Col. 1:13).
Through these two steps, repentance and baptism, we are transferred out of the kingdom of Satan and into the kingdom of God; now we begin a new life, a walk in newness of life, even in resurrection.
Now, day by day we are learning to live one with the Lord in spirit, choosing the divine will and rejecting Satan and his will. Our daily walk as Christians is for the fulfilment of God’s purpose.
Our living as believers in Christ is for the satisfaction of Christ. And we fight one with the Lord to bring in the kingdom of God, even to defeat God’s enemy. Praise the Lord!
Lord Jesus, we choose Your will today! We love You and we are one with You. We exercise our spirit to choose God and the divine will. We stand against Satan and his will; we exercise our free will to choose God! Amen, Lord, thank You for predestinating us unto sonship through Jesus Christ to Yourself, according to the good pleasure of Your will! Praise the Lord, we believers in Christ were chosen and predestinated by God to be sons of God! Hallelujah, in God’s mercy we have heard the gospel and we repented. Amen, Lord, we repent for the kingdom of God. We repent and we believe into the Lord Jesus. Jesus Christ is Lord. Amen, Jesus is our Lord. We repent and confess Your name, and we give ourselves to You to be baptised into the Triune God! Hallelujah, through repentance and baptism, we have been transferred out of the authority of darkness into the kingdom of God! Amen, Lord, we choose You and Your will today. We stand against Satan and his will. May our daily walk be for the fulfilment of God’s purpose. Amen, may our living be for the satisfaction of Christ! Hallelujah, we are one with You, Lord, for the defeat of the satanic will! Your kingdom come and Your will be done!
We are becoming the Bridal Army of Christ, fighting to Subdue the Satanic Will

We may like to hear that we are the bride of Christ, that the Lord loves us and we love Him, and that He is transforming us from within for us to be the beautiful bride of the Lamb, joining Him at the wedding feast.
Oh how sweet this is, and how much we love the Lord as we remain in the process of being His bride!
He truly is the most lovely One, and day by day we spend personal, intimate, and private time with Him in spirit to just enjoy Him, behold His beauty, and be infused with His loveliness…we just want to remain here, beholding Him and reflecting Him, for He’s truly the most wonderful One, and He shines Himself into us and through us! How lovely!
However, this is only half of the story; there’s also the side of spiritual warfare.
The bride is not just a loving bride feasting with the Lord and enjoying the freshness of His presence for one thousand years; the bride is also a bridal army, following the Lamb wherever He goes to defeat and subdue the satanic will!
In Revelation 19, right after we see the blessing of being called to the marriage dinner of the Lamb, for the bride has made herself ready (vv. 7-9), we see the Bridegroom, who is on a white horse, having eyes like a flame of fire, on His head are diadems, and He is called Faithful and True, for in righteousness He judges and makes war (vv. 11-12).
He is clothed with a garment dipped in blood, and the armies which are in heaven followed Him on white horses, dressed in fine linen, white and clean (vv. 13-14). Out of His mouth proceeds a sharp sword, that with it He might smite the nations (v. 15). Wow!
What just happened here? There was a wedding feast, and now there’s war! There was the lovely Bridegroom and the prepared bride, and now there’s the General and the armies following Him in white linen!
This is Christ as the Bridegroom and as the General of God’s army, and the overcoming believers as the bride and as the armies following the Lord.
This is why we say that we are becoming not just the bride but the bridal army of Christ, fighting to subdue the satanic will.
On the one hand, we need to love the Lord, be sanctified by the washing of the water in the word, and become His beautiful and spotless bride (Eph. 5). On the other hand, we are fighting the spiritual battle, for spiritual warfare is necessary, since Satan’s will rose up and is in constant conflict with God’s will.
This is why the Lord taught us to pray, right at the beginning, Your kingdom come, Your will be done, as in heaven, so also on the earth (Matt. 6:10).
We stand one with the Lord in the spiritual warfare, joining our human will to the divine will, so that His will be done and His kingdom come (Eph. 1:5, 9, 11).
Spiritual warfare is the warfare between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of Satan; in order for the kingdom of the heavens to be established on earth, there is a need for spiritual fighting (Matt. 12:26, 28; Rev. 12:11).
We need to have this realisation as we cooperate with the Lord to be prepared as His bride today.
Yes, we need to love the Lord, and we need to be under the constant washing of the water in the word so that we may be sanctified and transformed into His image.
At the same time, however, we need to fight the battle in the Lord, stand against the enemy, and be in the Body as we fight the battle as the bridal army He desires to gain today.
We fight the battle in the Lord and in the Body, and we love the Lord, therefore we are His bridal army fighting for His interest on the earth to subdue the satanic will.
In our daily living and walk, we walk according to truth and by grace, we live in love and light, and we fight to subdue the satanic will (Eph. 4:1; 5:2, 8; 6:12).
Lord Jesus, we love You and we stand one with You on the earth today. We stand one with Your interests on earth. We pray for Your kingdom to come and for Your will to be done. Amen, Lord, we realise the need of spiritual fighting, for the satanic will is set against the divine will. We exercise our spirit and our will to choose You and Your will. We love You, Lord, and we want to be Your bride. We want to give You our best cooperation today so that we may be Your bridal army, Your warrior bride! Oh Lord, we love You and Your interest, and we stand against the enemy! We stand against his attacks, his deception, and his wearing-out tactics. We fight the battle in the Lord and we fight the battle in the Body by the virtue of the Head! We choose to walk according to truth and by grace today. We want to live in love and light. Oh, amen, Lord, we fight one with You to subdue the satanic will for the establishing of the kingdom of God! Amen, Your kingdom come! Yes, Lord, Your will be done!

On the one hand, we’re the Lord’s bride; on the other hand, we’re His corporate warrior, even a warrior-bride.
Spiritual warfare is necessary because Satan’s will rose up against God’s will and is constantly in conflict with God’s will.
First, we need to repent and believe, and then we need to be baptised; in this way, we choose God’s will.
May we choose the Lord and His will today, even walk according to truth and grace and fight to subdue the satanic will!
All warfare has its source in the conflict of wills, intentions, views and conflict between kingdoms.
Initially, there was only God’s will which was perfect, eternal, divine, self-existing.
The controversy in the universe began when Satan rebelled against God’s will, intention, and tried to overthrow God’s kingdom.
Hence, spiritual warfare is necessary because Satan’s will, intention, and kingdom are in conflict and in rival with God.
Not only do we need to have a walk according to truth and by grace for the fulfillment of God’s purpose to have a corporate man.
Not only do we live in love and light for Christ to be satisfied through the corporate bride.
We also need to fight to subdue the satanic will and the establishment of God’s kingdom as the corporate warrior.
Amen. Lord we want to submit to Your will.
All the different kinds of warfare have their source in the controversy between the divine will and the satanic will.
Once the human will took sides with the satanic will, this deviated us from the kingdom of God.
However, we can repent! To repent is have a turn from the satanic will to the divine will.
Amen, Lord Jesus.
There are three wills; divine will, satanic will and human will.
Man chose to side with the will of Satan over God however we can turn from the satanic will through repentance and baptism.
In everything we must turn from the satanic will to the divine will.
Since creation, the source of conflict in ourselves, amongst ourselves, in society, and among nations has its inception in the conflict between 2 parties – God’s divine will against which the satanic will is set.
Though man, in aligned his will with Satan, God in His infinite wisdom, love, and mercy, made provision for man’s redemption through repentance, belief in the Lord Jesus, and baptism in water to turn from the satanic will to God’s will, God’s kingdom. We, believers today, have reason to praise God and live for God for His kindom to come.
Lord, to Thee we vow – our walk is for the fulfilment of God’s purpose, our living is for the satisfaction of Christ, and our fighting is for the defeat of Your enemy Satan. Thy kingdom come, Lord!
Waooo, what a wonderful scene where we have abandoned our paths crooked and murky to follow the path of Justice and Peace…
Amen, ultimately it is only if we fall in love with the Lord that we will be reminded to keep turning to Him throughout the day.
Only by living the bridal life now will will be counted with the bride in that day..
In His greatness, the God of heaven & Earth gave us freedom of choice.
On the Earth, there is the divine will and the satanic will fighting against each other.
Man has the freedom to choose between the two. When man chooses God, the divine will is accomplished on Earth.
Even if man temporarily sides with Satan, he can repent and turn back to the divine will. Repentance is the first commandment in the gospel.
The next two are to believe and be baptised. We must turn back to God’s will for the kingdom of heaven.
When we repent, believe and are baptised, our walk (activities) can be for the fulfilment of God’s purpose, our living is for the satisfaction of Christ, and our fighting is for the defeat of God’s enemy.
Dear brother, God’s will is His Kingdom, having predestinated us unto sonship.
However, since there are three wills in this universe – God’s will, Satan’s will and man’s will – there is the need to fight the spiritual warfare so that our will is one with the divine will.
For this we need to repent to turn from Satan’s will to have a walk that fulfills God’s purpose, a living for Christ’s satisfaction and a fighting for the defeat of the enemy.
