Having nullified death through His death, the Lord Jesus brought life and incorruption to the light through the gospel in His resurrection; today we have His death-overcoming life in our spirit, and we experience incorruption in our Christian life. Amen!
How we thank and praise our Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior, who nullified death and brought life and incorruption to light through the gospel!
This phrase, nullified death, is very great, with much meaning and deep application in our Christian life.
In Heb. 2:9 we are told that Christ tasted death on behalf of everything.
He tasted it, and now death has lost its power, even its taste.
Yes, death is here, still operating among us and even in our being, but whenever we’re in the Lord, whenever we exercise our spirit to be in our mingled spirit one with the life-giving Spirit, death has no way to touch us.
Death has lost its grip and power.
Christ came to taste death on behalf of everything, and He nullified death because He destroyed the devil, the one who has the might of death.
Death is Satan’s power over man and over all creation; however, Christ overcame Satan and nullified death. He also defeated Hades and the grave. Hallelujah!
When He was crucified and buried, Christ visited Hades and came out in resurrection, taking with Him the keys of Hades and the grave.
Hades is the collector and death is the broom, the sweeper, sweeping the people into Hades. The grave is like a passageway.
But Christ as the victor holds the key to Hades and the grave. Praise the Lord!
When Christ resurrected, He was not only vindicated by God and displayed His success but also He displayed His victory over death, Satan, Hades, and the grave. Praise the Lord!
In Rev. 20:14 we are told that death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. Praise the Lord!
Today we stand one with the Lord in faith, enjoying His death-overcoming life and allowing this life to flow in us, grow in us, and even flow out of us.
Death operates all around us, and many times death attacks even the church, for wherever the building up of the church is, there the gates of Hades are, attacking and doing their best to hinder the building (Matt. 16:18).
May we have a keen sense of death, sensing whenever death is spread and when death comes in, so that we may stay away from death, be filled with the death-overcoming life of Christ, and minister life to the saints through our speaking and our doing.
Amen, may the divine life of God flow in us and through us to others for the defeat of the enemy, the swallowing up of all death, and the building up of the church as the organic Body of Christ!
Having Nullified Death, Christ Brought Life and Incorruption to Light Through the Gospel
2 Tim. 1:10 says that our Savior Christ Jesus nullified death and brought life and incorruption to light through the gospel.
On the negative side, Christ nullified death; on the positive side, He brought life and incorruption to light through the gospel.
In and through His death, our Savior Christ Jesus nullified death.
In and through His resurrection, He brought life and incorruption to light through the gospel.
Especially today, in the time of the decline of the church, what is needed is life, the divine life. Life is very much the crucial factor for the building up of the church in the time of decline.
Where there is the divine life, there is also incorruption; incorruption is the result, the consequence of life saturating our being.
Where death is, there is corruption.
Wherever death is prevailing and pervading, there is decay and corruption.
In the time of the degradation of the church, if we open the door to death, we will see corruption coming in.
What is corruption? Corruption is a deterioration from the original nature.
God wants to preserve the original nature, even to regenerate us with His life, transform us with His nature, and glorify us with His expression, so that God and man would be one, even one corporate expression in this universe.
Satan, however, came in to deceive man, corrupt man, and put man to death.
Though the situation seemed so hopeless, Jesus Christ came as the Son of God to be incarnated as a man, and through His death on the cross, He destroyed the devil and nullified death!
Praise the Lord! Then, through His resurrection, Christ became the life-giving Spirit (1 Cor. 15:45) to impart God’s life to us (John 3:15) and regenerate us (1 Pet. 1:3).
Having nullified death through His death, Christ brought life and incorruption to light through the gospel in His resurrection.
Praise the Lord, in the gospel there’s the revelation being brought to us that Christ nullified death and brought us eternal life, the indestructible life of God!
This life is the eternal life of God which is given to us, the believers in Christ (1 Tim. 1:16) and which is the main element of the divine grace given to us (Rom. 5:17, 21).
The divine life we have received at the time of our regeneration is God Himself; it is not just something out of God, but God in Christ as the Spirit to be our life.
God has been imparted into us, into our spirit; the consequence of life saturating our spirit, soul, and body is incorruption (Rom. 8:11). Hallelujah!
As we see that death pervades and saturates human society and even worse, it creeps into the church life in so many little ways here and there, we need to realize that corruption follows, and the nature of the church life in the Lord’s recovery may be corrupted. Oh, Lord!
May we be before the Lord concerning this matter, now allowing any kind of deterioration or degradation as we are going forward toward the Lord’s coming.
As we are learning to serve in the church life, taking care of things in the Lord and with the saints, we need to be clear that the Lord’s testimony in His recovery must be preserved in its purity, integrity, and genuineness.
The only way this is possible is by means of life and incorruption brought to light through the gospel.
There should not be any kind of perversion or deterioration.
How can we be preserved in purity and in incorruption today in the church life? We need the gospel. We need the word of God to shine on us and in us day by day.
The divine light needs to shine on us so that the glory of God may shine in the face of Jesus Christ and illuminate God’s glory into our being.
2 Cor. 4:4 says that the god of this age has blinded the thoughts of the unbelievers that the illumination of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine on them. Oh, Lord!
May we be unveiled and under the Lord’s shining today so that the gospel, the entire word of God, would bring life and incorruption to light.
In Christ was life and the life was the light of man (John 1:4).
When light comes, it shines into our being, and the divine life comes in.
We need the enlightening of the Lord’s light today so that we may receive the divine life and be saved from corruption.
The eyes of our heart need to be enlightened so that we may see what is the hope of our calling.
Furthermore, we need to be enlightened to see the mystery of God’s economy.
Day by day, even moment by moment, we need to be under the Lord’s shining. His shining brings in life and incorruption.
We need to be enlightened and healed from any blindness and darkness.
When the Lord Jesus came on earth, He was like a great light shining on those sitting in the shadow of death (Matt. 4:16).
We need to ask the Lord to remove the veils from our eyes and deliver us from the authority of darkness so that we may see Him, see His economy, and enjoy light and incorruption through the shining of the gospel. Amen!
May the Lord break through any concepts and strongholds in our mind, and may His life have no frustration in our being.
When He shines on us, when the divine light is free to shine and expose us, we have life and incorruption through the gospel.
Then we will cooperate with the Lord to enlighten all that they may see what the hope of their calling is, what is the mystery of God’s economy, and how they can be transferred out of darkness into light to enjoy the all-inclusive Christ as their God-allotted portion!
Lord Jesus, we open to You. Shine on us. Remove any veils from our eyes so that we may see You and Your economy. Enlighten us through Your word so that we may have life and incorruption. Amen, Lord, break through any of our concepts. Save us from any darkness. Break through any high things in our mind that frustrate Your life from penetrating. We exercise our spirit to contact You. Hallelujah, we have God Himself as life in our spirit, and this life spreads through our soul, even saturating our body to save us from corruption! Hallelujah, life and incorruption are able to counter death and corruption! Amen, Lord, we open to Your shining. Bring to light life and incorruption through the gospel in our being and in the being of all the saints. Enlighten us. Bring in more life. Cause us to grow in life. May Your life in us grow, spread, increase, and take over our inner being. Amen, Lord, may Your divine life save us from any corruption, degradation, or deterioration!
Know Life and Incorruption in our Experience to Conquer Death and Defeat any Corruption
On the one hand, we need to know the truth concerning the Lord’s death and resurrection and realize that He has destroyed Satan and nullified death in His death, and He has brought life and incorruption to light through the gospel in His resurrection.
On the other hand, we need to apply this to our daily living and experience this in our daily life.
We believers in Christ know life and incorruption, for we have heard the gospel, we believed into the Lord, and now we are under the Lord’s shining.
But the unbelievers know only death and corruption because they have not yet heard or received the gospel.
We need to cooperate with the Lord to preach the gospel so that it will bring eternal life and eternal incorruption to light so that they also may know life and incorruption as we do.
The more we preach the gospel to others, the more life and incorruption will be brought to light.
Hallelujah, when Christ came, He came as grace, and of His fullness we have all received, grace upon grace (John 1:16).
He came with grace and He came as grace. This is on the positive side.
On the negative side, Christ nullified death through His death and brought life and corruption to light through the gospel so that He may save so many from the corruption and death brought in by His enemy.
Christ has conquered death, and death cannot hold Him back (Acts 2:24); even more, Christ as life will swallow up death (2 Cor. 5:4).
Hallelujah, death is swallowed up in victory! In our daily life, we need to know life and incorruption in our experience by exercising our spirit to contact the Lord and enjoy Him as our life.
We need to come to the Lord’s word to have His fresh shining so that all veils may be removed and we would receive more of His life.
As we enjoy and receive the divine life growing and flowing in us, incorruption will be the consequence; our being will be saved from corruption.
The consequence of life saturating our being is incorruption.
This will not only be something that happens in the future, as the Lord promised, when mortality will be swallowed up by immortality and the corruptible will be swallowed up by the incorruptible, but this is something we can experience today.
Today we can enjoy the Lord as grace, that is, we can enjoy God’s provision in life given to us so that we may live out His purpose.
This grace given to us in Christ was bestowed on us before the world began.
God’s grace was given to us in eternity and was manifested and applied to us through the Lord’s first coming, in which He nullified death and brought life to us (Heb. 9:26). Praise the Lord!
God destined that grace be given to us at the appearing of the Lord Jesus; this grace is not just a blessing but a person, the Triune God Himself who has given Himself to us to be our enjoyment.
When we exercise our spirit to enjoy the Lord and partake of His riches in His word, we enjoy Him as grace, and life and incorruption are brought to light through the gospel. Praise the Lord!
This truly is the gospel; the gospel is not merely to have our sins forgiven and for us to be justified.
The gospel is something much bigger than this.
The gospel is more than something for our own benefit and welfare.
The gospel includes life and incorruption being brought to light.
Lord Jesus, thank You for coming as grace to us for our enjoyment. We want to enjoy God’s provision in life given to us so that we may live out His purpose. Hallelujah, God’s grace was given to us in eternity but it was manifested and applied to us through our Lord’s first coming, in which He nullified death and brought life to us! Amen, Lord Jesus, we open to You. Shine on us. Bring in more of Your life and light into us. We come to Your word with our heart turned to You so that we may receive Your shining and partake of life and incorruption being brought to light through the gospel. Praise the Lord, life and incorruption are being imparted into us to deal with and counter any death and corruption! Hallelujah, incorruption is our portion, for the divine life spreads in us and saturates our entire being! We open to You, Lord, and we allow Your life to saturate our spirit, our soul, and our body so that any death may be defeated and swallowed up, and any corruption may be swallowed up by incorruption!

08/14/24 Christ Nullifying Death, and Bringing Life and Incorruption to Light and Our Remembering Jesus Christ, the Seed of David, Raised from the Dead (Week 4, Day 3)
According to 2 Timothy 1:10, Christ was manifested to nullify death and bring life and incorruption to light. Christ nullified death, making it of none effect, through His devil-destroying death (Heb 2:14) and death-swallowing resurrection (1 Cor 15:52-54). His death nullified death, and His resurrection brought the divine life to us. By becoming the Life-giving Spirit, the Lord is able to impart God’s life into His believers.
In the traditional preaching of the gospel, the emphasis is on Christ taking away sin (John 1:29). However, in 2 Timothy, the apostle Paul does not consider sin; rather, he considers death. The fact that Christ has nullified death may be only a doctrine to us. Thus, we need to consider according to our experience whether death has been fully nullified in us.
Death can be considered as anything that inwardly weakens us or makes us dead, dumb, or dull. The degradation in today’s Christianity issues from death. We should not be dumb, dull, or dead. Instead, we need to be alive, living, and praising the Lord because Christ has nullified death and brought life and incorruption to light.
The fact that life and incorruption were brought to light means that in the past, the divine life, zoe (Greek), which is the life of God (Eph 4:18), was concealed. Life was hidden from the Old Testament saints, but when Christ came, He nullified death and brought life and incorruption to light through His death and resurrection.
Prior to the day of resurrection, no one had ever seen life. Even while Jesus was on earth, life was concealed within Him. The disciples were with Him every day, yet all that they could see was a man, a Nazarene by the name of Jesus.
In Matthew 17, the Lord’s transfiguration was a prefigure of His resurrection, in which He was glorified (Luke 24:26, 46; 1Cor 15:43a; Acts 3:13a). At that time, Peter, James, and John were able to see something of life. However, life was not seen in a full way until the day of the Lord’s resurrection. When Christ resurrected from the tomb and came to His disciples, He brought life to light. When the disciples saw Him, they saw life, the resurrected Jesus.
When newcomers attend our meetings, they may see very little of life. This is because many of the saints enter the meetings and sit in silence. Christ has nullified death. Hence, we need to be living in resurrection. Living people can never be dumb. Because we are living, we should not be silent. Death has been nullified, and life has been brought to light.
Second Timothy 2:1 says, “Be empowered in the grace which is in Christ Jesus.” Grace, here is the enjoyment of the riches of Christ. It is God’s provision in life given to us so that we may live out His purpose. Ephesians 3:2 says that Paul was given by God the stewardship of the grace of God. The stewardship of the grace is for the dispensing of the grace of God to His chosen people for the producing and building up of the church.
Then Ephesians 3:8 says that Paul was given grace to announce to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ as the gospel. These two verses show that grace is the riches of Christ, which God has given to us in Christ for us to gain and enjoy. Paul’s ministry was to dispense the riches of Christ as grace to the believers for their enjoyment. Grace is not merely unmerited favor or any kind of outward blessing. Grace is a Person, the Triune God Himself, having all His divine riches embodied in the Son, being imparted into us to empower us to cooperate with the Lord in accomplishing God’s divine economy.
The grace destined to be given to us came with the appearing of the Lord Jesus. This grace is not merely a blessing; it is a person, the Triune God Himself, given to us to be our enjoyment. HWMR – W4D4
By that one death, that one crucifixion [of Christ] on the cross, four things were cleared up: the flesh (the fallen man), sin, Satan, and the world. (WL) Amen. Praise the Lord!🙏🏼💖

Amen Lord spread in us a little bit more!
Yes, brother!
I deeply enjoyed The Principle of eternal Life by the work of our All-inclusive Christ. That is the changing of death into life through the nullifying and swallowing of death by crucifixion on the cross and resurrection power from the dead.
For the last 3 hours on the cross, the righteous judge passed on His Son for our judicial redemption and raised Him up for our organic salvation.
Praise the Lord.
Amen. PTL for the Life spreading in us that death may be swallowed up.
