The living stars have great resolutions in heart and great searching of heart; they fear Jehovah and hear the voice of His servant, walking in God’s light, and they rule by their shining for the growth in life.
Christ is the Morning Star and the Living Star; He came to shine in this word, and He will return to be the Sun of righteousness, but in this dark age He will be the the morning star as the reward to His overcomers.
He will secretly give Himself as the morning star to those who love Him and who watch and wait for Him; if we are those who wake up in the morning and spend time with the Lord in His word, He will appear to us as the morning star.
May we be those who give the Lord the first place early in the morning, rising up early because it is then, in the early morning, that we can have the best time to meet the Lord so that we may fellowship with Him, praise Him and sing to Him, pray-read the Bible, and pray to the Lord.
Amen, early in the morning we need to give heed to the word of God, reading it not only with our eyes and our mind but also with our spirit, exercising our spirit to have the Lord rising up in us as the morning star.
The Lord’s word is like a lamp shining in a dark place, and if we give heed to His word, we will have the Lord’s rising up in our heart to shine in us and appear to us as the morning star. Amen!
As living stars, we need to be filled with the sevenfold intensified Spirit so that we may be made intensely living and intensely shining for God’s building. In this age of the degradation of the church, the Lord wants to gain His overcomers, the stars, those who shine by enjoying and being filled with the sevenfold intensified Spirit.
The seven Spirits of God are before the throne of God, and they produce the seeking believers to be the Lord’s overcomers, those who burn not with their own enthusiasm but with the Spirit as the fire.
Amen, may we be the living stars in the churches today, the messengers of the churches, those who enjoy the pneumatic Christ as the Messenger of God and as the message of God!
Not only Christ is the living star, but He wants to reproduce Himself into us, His believers, to be the many living stars shining in this dark age today; He wants to infuse us with Himself and fill us with “His divine phosphorus” so that we may be intensely living and intensely shining in this age.
The Living Stars have Great Resolutions in Heart and Trust in God, Walking in God’s Light
In Judges 5 we see the story of Barak and Deborah; after the people of Israel defeated the enemy, Deborah wrote a song, and in it she said that among the divisions of Reuben there were great resolutions of heart and great searching of heart (vv. 15-16).
The ones who fought for God were like the stars (v. 20).
As the Lord speaks His word to us, in our heart there are great resolutions in heart and great searching of heart, for He produces us to be like stars from their courses to fight together with God against His enemy so that we may be like the sun when it rises in its might (Judg. 5:15-16, 20, 31; Dan. 11:32; Matt. 13:43).
The more we are in the Lord’s living word and listen to His leading, the more we have great resolutions in heart, joining ourselves to the Lord in His fight against the enemy; we are His lovers who are like the stars.
Furthermore, as seen in Isa. 50:10-11, the living stars are those who fear Jehovah and hear the voice of His Servant, trusting in Jehovah so that they may have light while walking in darkness (Psa. 139:7-12, 23-24).
We need to love the Lord and also fear Him; to fear Him is not to be afraid of Him but to revere the Lord, fearing Him in our life and work. May the Lord make our heart single in fearing His name.
May we be filled with the Spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge, and with the Spirit of the fear of Jehovah (Isa. 11:2).
When we are filled with the spirit of the fear of Jehovah, we will honor, respect, and revere God, and we will walk in God’s light.
Those who make light for themselves and walk in their self-made light instead of in God’s light will suffer torment (Isa. 50:11).
This should be a warning to us; we need to realise that light comes from God, and He shines on whomever He wishes to shine, but we should not try to make our own light. May we walk in the light given by God and not in any self-made light or borrowed light (1 John 1:5).
May we encourage one another to come and let us walk in the light of Jehovah (Isa. 2:5).
And if we feel that we are in darkness, we simply need to turn to turn to the Lord and open to Him so that He may come in to shine on us; we shouldn’t manufacture our own light and walk in it but seek God’s light and walk in God’s light.
Only God is the source of light, and only in the light of God can we see light.
We shouldn’t borrow others’ light nor should we make up our own light; even when we read the Bible and the spiritual books, we should come to the Lord so that He may shine on us. God’s light is the real light, and we as His people should fear God, revere Him, and walk in His light.
Lord Jesus, shine on us through Your word and grant us to have great resolutions in heart and great searchings of heart so that we may be like the stars fighting together with God against His enemy. Amen, Lord Jesus, we open our heart to You to be infused with You in Your word; we love You and we want to be one with You. We trust in You, Lord, and we fear You and hear Your voice; our desire is to walk in God’s light and not in our own light. Oh, come and let us walk in the light of Jehovah!
Being Living Stars by being under the Shining of Christ, the Church, and the Living Saints
The living stars are typified by the stars that were established on the fourth day of God’s restoration with His further creation in Gen. 1:14-19.
On the first day, God said, Let there be light, and there was light; this light is a type of the Spirit and the Word which shine on us for the generating of life.
When we heard the gospel, we heard the speaking of the Word of God and the Spirit caused us to repent and believe into the Lord.
However, on the fourth day, God created light bearers who bring in a more definite light; He made the sun, the moon, and the stars. These lights are stronger, more solid, and more available, and they are for the further growth in life.
The sun typifies Christ, the moon typifies the church, and the stars typify the overcoming saints. Those who turn many to righteousness shine like the stars (Dan. 12:3); the overcoming saints are shining like the stars.
Whenever we help people to be saved, when we turn people from darkness to light, when we recover the backsliding ones, we are like the shining stars, the Lord’s overcomers.
In Rev. 1:20 the messengers (the living ones in the churches) are the shining stars, and the Lord said that we are the light of the world (Matt. 5:14), while Paul said that the saints shine as luminaries in the world (Phil. 2:15). May we be like this – may we be the shining stars today.
The way to be shining stars is by contacting Christ, the church, and the shining saints; when we do this, life grows in us, and we shine like the stars.
We can all testify that, when we come to the word of God and contact Christ, when we come to the meetings of the church, and when we contact certain saints who are shining, we sense the Lord’s light shining, and we walk in God’s light.
The divine light shining through Christ, the church, and the overcoming saints helps us to grow in life.
Where there is light, darkness is eliminated, and light rules by its shining. Darkness brings in confusion, but light brings in order; for us to grow in life, we need to be under the ruling of the more specific light – the light shining from Christ, in the church, and from the overcoming saints.
This light will separate light from darkness, exposing the darkness in us and eliminating it, while at the same time facilitating the growth in life.
The more we are infused with God as light, the more light rules by its shining for the growth in life, and our whole being is full of light and life.
For us to grow in life after we have received the divine life, we need to contact Christ, be in the church meetings, and contact the living saints; in this way, we are infused with God as light, and the divine light rules in us by its shining to make us the shining stars.
In Matt. 17:1-8 and Mark 9:1-8 we see that the Lord brought some disciples on the mountain with Him and was transfigured before them; this was the coming of the kingdom in power.
The shining forth of Christ is the ruling presence of the Triune God, and this is the kingdom of God.
The kingdom of God is the ruling of God, the reigning of God, with all its blessings and enjoyment; this is the shining of the Lord Jesus! The kingdom of God is the shining of the Lord Jesus, and the spreading of the kingdom is the Lord’s shining over us.
The kingdom is the shining of the reality of the Lord Jesus; whenever He is shining over us and we are under that shining, we are in the kingdom under God’s ruling and reigning within us for our growth of life.
May we seek God’s light and desire to be under His shining so that we may grow in life, come to maturity in life, and become God’s army to fight against His enemy to usher in God’s kingdom, enter into the good land, and build up the church as God’s temple.
Lord Jesus, we need Your shining. We want to contact Christ as the reality of the sun, be in the church as the reality of the moon, and contact the living saints as the reality of the stars so that we may grow in life and be produced as shining stars! Amen, Lord Jesus, shine in us and through us, and cause us to walk in God’s light. May we live in the light and grow in life, arrive to maturity in life, and be formed to be God’s army to fight against the enemy to usher in God’s kingdom and build the church as God’s temple!
