By regeneration we enter into a new realm: the realm of the Spirit, the realm in which we have the Triune God processed and consummated to be the Spirit as our everything. All believers in Christ have the privilege to breathe in God as the Spirit and to be in the Spirit as the realm in which they can live and have their being.
In this realm of the Spirit all the things of God are real and enjoyable, but outside of the Spirit we do not appreciate the things of God. As believers in Christ, we may live in the Spirit and experience the consummated Spirit as the divine and mystical realm.
It is a divine and mystical realm, and yet we can touch it, enjoy it, live in it, and experience the Spirit in our daily life. Today we want to see a few ways in which we can live in and experience the consummated Spirit as the divine and mystical realm, and what are the blessings of living in this realm.
Receiving the Spirit as the Unique, All-Inclusive Blessing
When we exercise our spirit and live in the mingled spirit, we live in the divine and mystical realm of the consummated Spirit and we receive the Spirit as the unique, all-inclusive blessing (see Gal. 3:14).
In this realm we don’t have only forgiveness of sins, washing, and cleansing, but the entire Triune God who has been processed and consummated to become the all-inclusive life-giving Spirit dwelling in us, this One is our enjoyment subjectively!
God promised this blessing to Abraham, and we as believers today can enjoy the consummated Spirit as the blessing as we live in the divine and mystical realm of the consummated Spirit! Oh, just receive the all-inclusive blessing – let the Lord bless you with Himself as the Spirit!
Lord Jesus, keep us in our spirit today so that we may live in the divine and mystical realm of the consummated Spirit where we can receive the Spirit as the all-inclusive blessing! Lord, we want to walk in the spirit so that we may receive Your unique blessing – the all-inclusive life-giving Spirit!
Receiving the Transmission of the Ascended Christ and the Supply of His Heavenly Ministry
Today Christ is no longer in the flesh among us on earth – He is in His heavenly ministry, and He as the Head of the Body is constantly transmitting all that He is, He has accomplished, and He has attained to the church, His Body, for the building up and perfecting of the Body so that God would gain a corporate expression.
How and where can we receive this transmission from Christ? When we live in the divine and mystical realm of the consummated Spirit, we receive the transmission of the ascended Christ (the Head of the Body) and the supply of His heavenly ministry (Eph. 1:22; Heb. 8:1-2). Christ is constantly transmitting all that He is and has accomplished, and we simply need to be in the right realm to receive His constant supply.
Our unlimited heavenly Christ is ministering to us in the heavens and in our spirit; when we turn to our spirit and live in the spirit, we enjoy the rich supply of His heavenly ministry, and our work becomes our rest and enjoyment.
Experiencing God’s Organic Salvation and Reigning in Life
Where can we experience God’s organic salvation? In the divine and mystical realm of the consummated Spirit. Where can we reign in life? In the Spirit. Only when we are in the mingled spirit, in the spiritual, practical, and experiential union of the divine Spirit with our human spirit, can we reign in life and experience God’s organic salvation (Rom. 5:10, 17).
We need to realize that the all-inclusive Spirit of the Triune God, the consummated Spirit, dwells in our regenerated Spirit and works in our spirit; these two spirits are mingled together and live together as one spirit.
Whenever we turn to our spirit and walk according to the spirit, we experience God’s organic salvation and we spontaneously reign in life. But when we are not in the spirit we don’t experience God’s salvation and we do not reign in life.
Living in the Kingdom of God as the Realm of the Divine Species
The divine and mystical realm of the Spirit is the kingdom of God; this kingdom is not only God’s reigning but also the realm of the divine species. Through incarnation, God became man to enter into the human species, and through His death and resurrection He brought man into God so that man may become God in life and nature but not in His Godhead.
Today everyone who believes into the Lord and receives Him into his heart as his Lord and Savior enters into the kingdom of God and has the authority to be called a child of God (John 1:12-13); our regeneration is our entrance into the kingdom of God as the realm of the divine species (John 3:3, 5).
When we live in the mingled spirit, we live the life of a God-man, and our natural race has been terminated – we are now living in the kingdom of God as the realm of the divine species, a realm of life and light and love.
Hallelujah, in the church life today we live in the realm of the divine species, experiencing Christ to be transformed and conformed to the image of Christ until we are fully God-men!
Thank You Lord for bringing us into the kingdom of God, the realm of the divine species. Hallelujah, we are God-men, men born of God having God living in them. Lord, we want to live in the divine and mystical realm of the consummated Spirit, the kingdom of God as the realm of the divine species! Amen, Lord, keep us living in our mingled spirit to live the God-man life!
Living in the Fellowship of the Divine life, the Reality of the Body of Christ
When we live in the divine and mystical realm of the consummated Spirit we live in the fellowship of the divine life – which is the reality of living in the Body of Christ (1 John 1:3, 7; Acts 2:42; Rom. 12:5).
How can we have genuine fellowship with no pretense, politics, or fear? By living in the light, in the fellowship of the divine life, being genuinely transparent. May the Lord save us from being individualistic, independent, opinionated, and divisive, by keeping us in the fellowship of the divine life.
If we allow the divine fellowship to rule us and restrict us, we will be kept in the oneness of the Body of Christ, and the work of the ministry will go on. What keeps us in the oneness of the Body of Christ is the divine fellowship; when we are in the fellowship, we are in the oneness, but when we’re not in the fellowship, we are divisive, opinionated, and independent.
We need to learn to fellowship by being in the fellowship of the divine life, and we will be kept in the oneness of the Body. The way to fellowship is to live in the divine and mystical realm of the consummated Spirit – we fellowship by being and living in the mingled spirit!
Being Mingled with the Triune God for the keeping of the Oneness
In His mysterious and high prayer to the Father in John 17 the Lord asked that His believers would know that He is in them, the Father is in Him, and they are in Him (see John 17:21, 23), and this will make them all one – and the world will know that the Father has sent the Son.
The only way we can be genuinely one is by being perfected into one, that is, by being in the enlarged oneness of the Triune God. The believers’ oneness is the enlarged oneness of the Triune God.
The only way we can be one is by being in the divine and mystical realm of the Spirit (the consummation of the Triune God), so that we would know and live in the experience of the Father being in the Son, the Son being in us, and us being in the Son – who is in the Father.
Wow, this is a mysterious and wonderful oneness of God and man in the way of mingling and coinhering (living in one another), and this oneness can be accomplished when we live in the divine and mystical realm of the consummated Spirit.
When we live in our mingled spirit, we are spontaneously one with God and one with the saints by being mingled with God and by being in God!
Lord Jesus, keep us in the mingling of God with man so that we may keep the oneness of the Body. Lord, may we be perfected into one by being incorporated into God to experience the enlarged oneness of the Triune God. Oh Lord, bring us fully into the divine and mystical realm of the pneumatic Christ and the consummated spirit so that we may be one with the Triune God in the Body of Christ!
