Live & Walk by the Spirit to be Anointed with the Compound Spirit for God’s Building

But the One who firmly attaches us with you unto Christ and has anointed us is God. 2 Cor. 1:21

When we live and walk according to the Spirit and in the mingled spirit, we are anointed with the compound Spirit for God’s building.

The holy anointing oil in Exo. 30 was used to anoint the tabernacle with everything and everyone related to its service; the compound Spirit is for the anointing of the saints for the church as God’s dwelling place, and when we’re for God’s dwelling place and for the priesthood, we can have the enjoyment of the compound all-inclusive Spirit! Amen!

Our entire Christian life is a matter of the Spirit and in the spirit. If we do not exercise our spirit to contact the Lord and we do not live in the mingled spirit, we do not have a Christian life.

We may call ourselves Christians, we may do many things for God and we may be involved in many Christian activities, but we do not live a proper Christian life unless we exercise our spirit and live in spirit.

The secret to living the Christian life is the Spirit with our spirit.

The only way we can live the Christian life is by turning to our spirit, where the Lord as the compound Spirit dwells.

When we live in spirit and walk according to the Spirit, we live the Christian life.

This means that the Spirit is very important for us in our Christian life.

When we speak of “the Spirit” we don’t mean the Spirit of God in Genesis 1 nor do we merely mean the Holy Spirit involved in the conception of Jesus Christ as seen in the Gospels.

The Spirit today is not just a simple Spirit containing the element of God and the riches of God; this Spirit is compounded with many things.

God became a man, lived a perfect human life, died an all-inclusive and redeeming death on the cross, was buried and remained in Hades for three days, resurrected and overcame death, and was ascended to the third heavens.

In His resurrection Christ became a life-giving Spirit.

This life-giving Spirit is also the Spirit of Jesus (referring mainly to His humanity, His human living, and His sufferings on earth, including the suffering death), the Spirit of Christ (referring mainly to Him being the anointed One, the One commissioned by God to do His work, and the One who overcame death and is in resurrection), the Spirit of Jesus Christ with a bountiful supply, and the Spirit.

The Spirit today is the processed and consummated Spirit who includes God, man, humanity, human living, crucifixion, resurrection, ascension, the death of Christ with its sweetness and power, the resurrection of Christ with its effectiveness and strength, and the ascension of Christ, including the perfect humanity of Jesus and the divinity of Christ. Hallelujah!

Everything is in this Spirit, which we call “the compound Spirit,” and this Spirit is with our spirit today! Praise the Lord!

The Compound Spirit Anoints us for the Building up of the Church as God’s House Today

And you shall anoint Aaron and his sons and sanctify them that they may serve Me as priests. Exo. 30:30

The compound ointment – the holy anointing oil in Exo. 30 – was used to anoint the tabernacle with all its furniture, the altar with all its utensils, the laver and its base, and the priests (see Exo. 30:26-30).

When all these things and persons were anointed with the holy anointing oil, they were holy, separated, and sanctified to God for His divine purpose.

This means that the Spirit today is not just for us to be anointed with the compound Spirit and have God’s leading personally by means of the inner anointing (1 John 2:20, 27) but even more, the compound Spirit anoints us for the building up of the church as God’s house (Exo. 30:26-30; 1 Pet. 1:2; 1 Cor. 6:11; Rom. 15:16).

The Spirit is for us to be anointed with, painted with, and constituted within our daily life, so that we may build up the church as the house of God, the building of God in this age. Amen!

Chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father in the sanctification of the Spirit unto the obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace be multiplied. 1 Pet. 1:2 And these things were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God. 1 Cor. 6:11The ointment in Exo. 30 signifies the Triune God processed and consummated through Christ’s incarnation, crucifixion, and resurrection to become the all-inclusive, compound Spirit to reach His chosen and redeemed people and to anoint them with Himself, making Himself one with them and making them one with Him (John 20:22; 1 John 2:20, 27; 2 Cor. 1:21; 1 Cor. 6:17).

We believers in Christ were saved by God, regenerated with His life, and we were attached to Christ, the anointed One.

We also have been anointed by God with this holy ointment, the compound Spirit. When we believe into the Lord Jesus, we were sealed by the Spirit, and this Spirit is the compound Spirit.

This sealing is continual; it continues day by day, for God anoints us or paints us with the compound Spirit day by day, coat by coat, layer by layer until we are fully one with Him! Hallelujah!

We have been sealed with the Spirit for the day of the redemption of our body; until we are fully redeemed by God, we are being sealed by the Spirit, that is, we are being painted by the compound Spirit with all the elements of what God is until we’re fully one with Him, even becoming the same as He is!

And this painting is never dry, it is always wet; the compound Spirit anoints us continually for the building up of the church! Hallelujah!

As we come to the Lord to fellowship with Him, as we open to Him throughout the day, and as we contact the Lord here and there throughout the day, we are being painted with the compound Spirit for the building up of the church.

This painting is not once for all; God keeps painting us and anointing us day by day. He is painting His humanity and His divinity on us.

He is spreading Himself into all our being to infuse all our inward parts with His elements.

He is painting His death, His human living, His resurrection, and His ascension onto our being.

As we heed the inner anointing, listening to the Lord’s inner speaking and obeying the teaching of the anointing, the compound Spirit is infusing us and anointing us for the building up of the church as the house of God.

Such an anointing, being the moving of the compound Spirit within us, applies to us and also adds all the elements of the processed and consummated Triune God into our being so that our inner man may grow within the divine life with the divine elements and we may be mingled with God as one (Col. 2:19). Amen!

The Spirit is in us, and He is moving and anointing us inwardly to apply all that God is and all He has done and accomplished in the person and work of Christ.

As He applies Himself with all His elements to our being, we grow in life with these divine elements and we are mingled with God as one! Hallelujah!

This is the growth in life of a Christian.

That I might be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, a laboring priest of the gospel of God, in order that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, having been sanctified in the Holy Spirit. Rom. 15:16 You yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house into a holy priesthood to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 1 Pet. 2:5Our growth in life is not the perfecting of our behaviour or the increase of our scriptural knowledge.

Our growth in life is the anointing of the compound Spirit inwardly for all the elements of God to be added to our being.

May we open our being to the Lord to paint us, anoint us, and add Himself to us day by day, with the result that we grow in life for the building up of the church as the house of God.

The addition of the Triune God to our being is the growth in life of a believer in Christ, for we grow with the growth of God in us. Amen!

Through this process of growth, as the Lord is anointing us with the compound Spirit to add the elements of God to our being, we are mingled with God, and we become one with God; we even become the same as God in life and nature but not in the Godhead.

Our growth in life is for the building up of the church.

The holy anointing oil is solely for the purpose of anointing God’s dwelling place and the priesthood (cf. 1 Pet. 2:5); hence, only those who are for God’s dwelling place and for the priesthood can have the enjoyment of the compound, all-inclusive Spirit. Hallelujah!

We want to be not only in the church life in a general way but in the priesthood, those who serve the Lord in spirit in the church life, those being continually anointed with the compound Spirit for the building up of the church as the house of God. Amen!

Lord Jesus, anoint us a little more today. Add Yourself to us. Grow in us. We want to heed the inner anointing and obey the teaching of the anointing today. Amen, Lord, we are here for You and for Your purpose. We give ourselves to You for the building up of the church as Your dwelling place. Anoint us for Your building. Anoint us with the compound Spirit for the building of God! Sanctify us to God and saturate us with all that You are for the building up of the church as the house of God! Amen, Lord Jesus, make us one with You in all things. We just want to remain in our spirit and do all things in the spirit so that we may remain under the continual anointing of the Spirit! May all that God is and has be applied to our being to add the elements of the processed and consummated Triune God into our inner being! Amen, Lord, cause us to grow in life by the addition of Your elements to our being! Grow in us for the Body! Anoint us for our service in the church life for the building up of the Body of Christ!

Walk, Live, Move, Act, and Speak according to the Spirit to be Anointed with the Compound Spirit and Live the Christian Life for the building up of the Church

That the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the spirit. Rom. 8:4 But I say, Walk by the Spirit and you shall by no means fulfill the lust of the flesh...If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. Gal. 5:16, 25All that God wants to accomplish, everything He wants to attain, and His heart’s desire, it is all related to the compound Spirit who today is in and with our spirit.

Rom. 8:16 says that the Spirit witnesses with our spirit that we are children of God.

2 Tim. 4:22 reveals that the Lord as the Spirit is with our spirit.

In order for us to fulfill God’s purpose to build up the church as the Body of Christ, we need to walk according to the Spirit, live in the mingled spirit, act in the spirit, and speak according to the Spirit.

When we are in our spirit, the compound Spirit with our spirit can apply to us all that God is, has, and has accomplished.

When we walk according to the Spirit, the anointing can operate in us to bring us into the experience of Christ’s human living, death, and resurrection.

Day by day the anointing is working in us, constantly moving, acting, and speaking within us.

This moving of the anointing in us teaches us concerning all things. As we walk, live, move, act, and speak according to the spirit, we are anointed with the compound Spirit and we live the Christian life for the building up of the church.

What is the Christian life? The Christian life is not just a Christian living a normal life according to what the Bible tells him to do.

The Christian life is the acting, moving, working, and speaking of the compound Spirit in our spirit.

When we are one with the Lord in spirit, we allow the anointing to lead us, move us, act in us, and speak to us and in us, and we live the Christian life. Amen!

As we contact the Lord day by day and live according to the Spirit, the proper humanity of Jesus is applied to us, and His divinity is added to our being.

In our humanity, we are so poor and low, but the humanity of Jesus uplifts us and enriches us; our living will be up to God’s standard.

We will live the Christian life according to God’s standard not because we improve ourselves or fix our flaws and mistakes but because we are being anointed with the compound Spirit and He has a way to live in us the Christian life.

Only the Spirit can be a Christian; only the Spirit can live the Christian life in a proper way and according to God’s standard. Amazing!

And you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know...And as for you, the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone teach you; but as His anointing teaches you concerning all things and is true and is not a lie, and even as it has taught you, abide in Him. 1 John 2:20, 27When we see this, when we realize that only the compound Spirit in our spirit can live the Christian life and can serve God in the church life, we will give up our struggle and striving and simply open to the Lord’s inner anointing!

When we open to the Lord, exercising our spirit to contact Him and be with Him, we will have the humanity of Jesus, the death of Christ with its effectiveness, the power of Christ’s resurrection with its effectiveness, and the ascension of Christ applied to our being.

In this anointing, the Spirit with our spirit, we have Christ’s resurrection with its power, and we have the repelling power of His resurrection.

Many things bother us, and especially Satan as the evil one, the snake, bothers us; the power to repel the enemy and his troubles is in the anointing.

When we follow the anointing by living in our spirit, Christ’s resurrection resists all the opposition and attacks from the enemy, and all the evil “insects” and “snakes” are repelled. Especially the old serpent, the devil, is repelled.

Not by our perfecting ourselves or making ourselves better but by our contacting the Lord and remaining in our spirit.

When we live according to the Spirit, following the inner anointing, we will not live out our natural virtues but rather, the virtues of Christ which fill and saturate our virtues. Amen!

When we live, walk, move, act, and speak according to the spirit, we are anointed with the compound Spirit, and we live the Christian life for the building up of the church. Amen!

Lord Jesus, we want to live and walk in our spirit today so that You may anoint us with the Spirit and live the Christian life. Amen, Lord, may our daily living with all its activities be in the mingled spirit. We choose not to try to be better but to walk, live, move, act, and speak according to the spirit. Hallelujah, the compound Spirit is in and with our spirit, and we can enjoy the bountiful supply of the Spirit today in our Christian life! Oh Lord, may our Christian life be the acting, moving, working, and speaking of the consummated God who is in us as the compound Spirit! Amen, may we live the Christian life by living according to the Spirit so that we may be anointed with the compound Spirit and enjoy all that God is! Praise the Lord, the anointing is the working, moving, acting, and speaking of the compound Spirit in our spirit! Amen, Lord, we want to follow the leading of the anointing today. Anoint us. Apply to us all the ingredients and elements of Your being. May we enjoy and experience the Lord’s humanity, His perfect human living, His death with its effectiveness and sweetness, His resurrection with its power, and His resurrection being applied to our being today for the building up of the church as the Body of Christ!

The Christian life is the acting, moving, working, and speaking of the consummated God who is typified by the compound ointment. In this life both God and man are applied to us. We are a poor man, a low man, but we have an uplifted man, a man of the divine standard, in this anointing. In this anointing we also have Christ’s death and His death’s effectiveness, which is so sweet. We have been forgiven, justified, and reconciled to God through His death so that we could be regenerated to be sons of God. How sweet is the effectiveness of His death as typified by the cinnamon! Then in this anointing we have Christ’s resurrection applied to us. Christ’s resurrection is so powerful, especially in the sense of resisting and repelling the enemy and all the negative things. This is typified by cassia, which was used in ancient times to repel insects and snakes. Christ’s resurrection resists all the opposition and attacks from the enemy, and it repels all the evil “insects” and “snakes.” Christ’s resurrection is repelling all the demons, evil spirits, and especially their leading one, the snake, the old serpent, the devil. The Christian life is not the living out of our natural human virtues. These good things, along with the evil things, belong to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Only the Christian life that is revealed in the Scriptures as the moving and working of the indwelling compound Spirit belongs to the tree of life. (CWWL, 1991-1992, vol. 2, “The Christian Life,” pp. 430-432)

Ameeen!!!
The NT reveals clearly and emphasizes strongly that this anointing, the compound Spirit is right in our spirit. This anointing is the working, the moving, the acting, and speaking of the ointment. This is the christian life, the working, the moving, the acting, and speaking of the consummated Triune God. It is the moving, acting , working of the indwelling compound Spirit. A life that belongs to the tree of life.
