Justification is of Life: the Result of Justification is Enjoying Christ as life

In order that just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness unto eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Rom. 5:21

The goal of God’s salvation is life, for justification is of life and unto life; the result of our justification is the full enjoyment of God in Christ as our life, for God wants us to enjoy Him as life after we are being justified by faith. Praise the Lord!

How can we, sinful human beings, contact God, fellowship with God, know God, and enjoy God? God is holy, righteous, and glorious, and we are sinful, unrighteous, and falling short of the glory of God.

But praise the Lord, He has provided a way for us to come forward to God based on the redemption of Christ!

God sent the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, to come and accomplish redemption. Now, based on His redemption, when we believe into the Lord Jesus, God justifies us and covers us with Christ as our righteousness. Praise the Lord!

None of us can fulfil or satisfy the requirements of God’s righteousness; however, Christ died on the cross for us, and He fulfilled all the righteous requirements of God.

In the Old Testament in Leviticus 16 we see the matter of expiation; on the day of expiation, the high priest brought the blood of the sacrifice into the Holy of Holies and sprinkled it on the expiation cover.

In the Ark under the expiation cover, there is the law of God condemning man according to what God is, and above the lid, there are the cherubim signifying God’s glory.

Without the blood of the sacrifices, man cannot enter into the Holy of Holies and draw near to God. But because of the blood of the sacrifices, God can be appeased, for there is propitiation.

Because of this blood, God’s righteous requirement is satisfied, and God’s holiness and glory are appeased; therefore, man can come with boldness to God.

This is a picture of what happens in the spiritual realm today, the reality of the Lord’s work on the cross and its application in our Christian experience.

In the New Testament, we see the Lord Jesus coming to make propitiation for our sins, and He was set forth by God to be the propitiation place.

Wow, Christ not only made propitiation and not only is He Himself the propitiatory sacrifice, but He is also the propitiation place where we meet with God! Amen!

Christ is the propitiatory sacrifice; He propitiates for us, and He is the propitiation place for us to meet with God and enjoy God.

It is by faith in Christ that we can come forward to God and meet with Him in Christ, the propitiation place, so that we may fellowship with God and partake of God. Praise the Lord!

Today, we can come forward to God and enjoy Him based on the sacrifice of Christ on the cross through our faith in Him!

The Goal of God’s Salvation is Life and Justification is of Life, Bringing us up to the Standard of God’s Righteousness for us to Enjoy His Life

So then as [it was] through one offense unto condemnation to all men, so also [it was] through one righteous act unto justification of life to all men. Rom. 5:18

Many Christians today rejoice when they realise that they are justified before God, but they stop here. However, justification in itself is not the goal or the end. Life is the goal of God’s salvation!

According to Romans 5:18, as it was through one offense unto condemnation to all men, so also it was through one righteous act unto justification of life to all men. Hallelujah, justification is of life!

The righteous act of Christ dying on the cross resulted in the justification of life. Through justification, we have come up to the standard of God’s righteousness and we now correspond with it so that He can impart His life into us.

The goal of justification is life, and the goal of God’s salvation is that the divine life may be imparted into us to fill us, grow in us unto maturity, and saturate our whole being. Praise the Lord!

Have we ever thought that justification is of life? Justification is wonderful, but justification is not for the sake of justification; justification is of life and unto life.

God justifies us so that we may be in the right position for us to enjoy and partake of God as life. Justification is for us to gain life.

No wonder that Paul wrote in Romans 4 about Abraham as an example of justification; Abraham believed God and God accounted this as righteousness to him.

In Genesis 15, there’s no matter of sin; it’s not that sin needs to be removed, but that man believes God and God gives man a seed and the good land, for God to gain a kingdom on the earth.

Justification is for life and justification is of life. God justifies us so that we may be brought into the right position and condition for us to enjoy God as life and as our everything.

Now that we have been justified, grace reigns through righteousness unto life (Rom. 5:21). Life comes as the result of righteousness (8:10).

May we all go on with the Lord day by day, knowing that we have been justified and realising that justification is of life.

May we exercise our spirit, confess our sins, apply the Lord’s precious blood, and enjoy justification of life so that we may partake of the riches in God as our portion!

Thank the Lord, our outward position has been changed; through being justified, we are no longer in sin or under condemnation – we are now in the right position before God for us to partake of all that God is!

Life is the goal of God’s salvation; thus, justification is “of life.” Justification is not an end in itself; it is for life. Through justification we have come up to the standard of God’s righteousness and correspond with it, so that now He can impart His life to us. Justification changes our outward position; life changes our inward disposition. Justification unto life indicates that life is the focus of Romans 5 and that the organic union of life is an issue of justification. Rom. 5:18, footnote 2, Recovery Version BibleJustification changes our outward position, qualifying us to come to the Lord and enjoy His life.

Justification unto life indicates that the focus of Romans chapter 5 is life, and that the organic union of life is an issue of justification. Praise the Lord!

May we not be held back by remaining in the understanding of justification, but may we rejoice in being justified and go on with the Lord to enjoy Him as life!

By being justified by God, we are brought into an organic union with Christ so that we may enjoy all that God is.

In God’s eyes, we are up to the standard of His righteousness, and we correspond to it, so now God can impart His life to us.

His standard of righteousness is satisfied, and now God dispenses His life and all that He is into our being. Praise the Lord!

Lord Jesus, thank You for accomplishing redemption for us on the cross. We believe into You and we believe in Your redemptive work. Hallelujah, we are justified by God through faith in Christ! Thank You, Lord, for justifying us so that we may enjoy Your life! Hallelujah, life is the goal of God’s salvation. Thank You, Lord, that justification is of life! Amen, justification brings us to the standard of God’s righteousness. Wow, Lord, we are now up to the standard of Your righteousness, for Christ is our righteousness! Hallelujah, as it was through one offense unto condemnation to all men, so also it was through one righteous act unto justification of life to all men! Amen, Lord, thank You for justification unto life. We open to You. Dispense Yourself into us as life today. Keep us in the organic union with You so that we may enjoy all that God is in Christ for our enjoyment! Praise the Lord, justification is of life and unto life!

The Result of our Justification is the Full Enjoyment of God in Christ as our Life

Therefore having been justified out of faith, we have peace toward God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Rom. 5:1

In Romans 5:1-11 we see the matter of justification leading us to enjoying Christ as life. The result of our justification is the full enjoyment of God in Christ as our life.

God doesn’t just justify us and that’s it; He justifies us so that we may enter into the full enjoyment of God in Christ as our life.

In this portion of Romans, we see six outstanding words: love, grace, peace, hope, life, and glory.

Having been justified out of faith, we have peace toward God through our Lord Jesus Christ (v. 1). Praise the Lord, after being justified, first we have peace toward God!

Through whom also we have obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand and boast because of the hope of the glory of God...And hope does not put [us] to shame, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. Rom. 5:2, 5Through Jesus, we have obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand (v. 2). The result of being justified out of faith is that we stand in grace.

This is both because of the hope of the glory of God; this is the third result of our justification, which is hope, and the fourth is the glory of God.

First, we’re justified out of faith, and then the result is that we have peace toward God, we stand in grace, we have hope, and we have glory.

In verse five, we see that the love of God has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. This is the fifth item.

In verse 10, we see the sixth item of the result of our justification, which is being saved in His life, having been reconciled. Wow!

Romans 5:1-11 shows us that to be justified by faith is to bring us into the full enjoyment of God in Christ as our life.

This includes us having peace with God, standing in grace, having the hope of the glory of God, having the love of God being poured out in our hearts, and being saved in His life. Hallelujah!

May we be delivered from only remaining at being justified by faith; may we see the full picture of God’s salvation and realise that justification is of life, for the result of justification is our full enjoyment of God in Christ as our life!

The result of our justification is embodied in six wonderful things—love (v. 5), grace (v. 2), peace (v. 1), hope (v. 2), life (v. 10), and glory (v. 2)—for our enjoyment; these verses also reveal the Triune God—the Holy Spirit (v. 5), Christ (v. 6), and God (v. 11)—for our enjoyment.

Along with these six wonderful words as the result of our justification, we also have three wonderful persons.

These three persons are not three distinct and separate persons but they are one – the Triune God.

Rom. 5:5 speaks of the Holy Spirit, verse 6 speaks of Christ dying for us, and verse 11 speaks of boasting in God. We boast and exult in God, we glory and joy in God because He is our enjoyment.

How wonderful it is to see that the result of our justification is six wonderful items and three amazing persons!

Through being justified, we have love, grace, peace, hope, life, and glory, and we enjoy an organic union with the Triune God – the Holy Spirit, Christ, and God, for the Triune God has become our enjoyment! Praise the Lord!

We need to take this portion of the word and pray over it.

For if we, being enemies, were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more we will be saved in His life, having been reconciled, And not only so, but also boasting in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation. Rom. 5:10-11We can’t just understand it and agree with it, and memorising it is not enough; we need to pray much over it, even consider it prayerfully in our daily life, so that we may enjoy God in Christ as our everything in our daily experience.

Thank the Lord that, through the redeeming death of Christ, God has justified us sinners and has reconciled us, His enemies, to Himself (Rom. 5:1, 10-11).

We now have peace toward God, we are justified before Him, and the love of God has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

The first thing we enjoy in this wonderful realm of God’s organic salvation is the love of God.

The love of God encourages us and confirms us, sustains us and comforts us. We may have doubts, and we may suffer much as we go through trials and tests; however, the love of God is in us, confirming us and sustaining us.

The Spirit reveals, confirms, and assures us of the love of God. Because God loves us, we have no doubt in God, we do not fear death or suffering, and we can overcome anything that comes our way, for He is with us.

Thank the Lord for His love, which has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us!

Lord Jesus, bring us into seeing and enjoying the result of our justification today! Hallelujah, as a result of our justification, we enter into the full enjoyment of God in Christ as our life! Wow, Lord, we can now come forward to God to enjoy God! God in Christ is now our portion for our enjoyment! Amen, we exercise our spirit today and we come forward to You to just enjoy You. Thank You, Lord, for pouring out the love of God in our hearts through the Holy Spirit. Praise the Lord, we now have access into this grace in which we stand! Amen, Lord, since we have been justified out of faith and have been reconciled to God, we now have peace toward God! Oh, how we boast, exult, and glory in God because of the hope! Praise the Lord we are and we will be saved in His life! Hallelujah, we expect to share even the glory of God, for He is bringing us into the full enjoyment of God in Christ in our daily life! Praise the Lord for God’s wonderful organic salvation in which we enter through being justified by faith!

In Romans 5:1-11 Paul mentions six outstanding words: love, grace, peace, hope, life, and glory. The love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit (v. 5). We have access into this grace in which we stand (v. 2). Since we have been justified out of faith, we have peace toward God (v. 1). Following this, we boast, exult, and glory because of the hope (v. 2). Verse 10 tells us that we will be saved in His life. Finally, we expect to share the glory of God (v. 2). These six items are part of the result of God’s justification…For all these matters you need justification. All of them are our portion as the issue of God’s justification. Along with these six significant words, we have three wonderful persons. (Although I do not like the term persons, because it has been inaccurately understood in the teachings on the Trinity, there is no term more adequate in our human language to use in relation to the Godhead.) In Romans 5:1-11 we see the three persons of the Triune God. Verse 5 speaks of the Holy Spirit, telling us that the Holy Spirit has poured out the love of God in our hearts. Then verse 6 tells us that while we were yet weak and ungodly, Christ died for us. Finally, verse 11 says that now we boast in God…We joy, boast, exult, and glory in God because He is our enjoyment. Thus, Romans 5 unveils six wonderful things and three wonderful persons. We have love, grace, peace, hope, life, and glory. As a result of God’s justification, we have the Holy Spirit, Christ, and God as our enjoyment.

Justification is of life, for it leads us into the full enjoyment of God in Christ as our life.

The result of justification is that we have peace toward God, we stand in grace, we boast in God, we enjoy the love of God, we have hope, we are saved in His life, and we are being glorified.

This is all of the Father, the Son, and the Spirit, the Triune God becoming our enjoyment. Praise the Lord!

Oh Lord, bring us fully into the enjoyment of God in Christ as our life today. Thank You for the love of God poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit!

As you shared, the result of justification is peace, grace, love, hope, and salvation in life — all flowing from the Triune God for our experience and enjoyment.

How wonderful that we are not only declared righteous, but we are brought into fellowship and oneness with the living God.

In our life, this genuine blending really realized again in our corporate life toward Lord’s economy…Although outwardly things are still unsettled, inwardly I am learning that the Lord is using this season to shepherd us deeply.

There is a recalibrating of values, and a reminding of what truly matters. In my young days, I often focused on outward stability, but now gradually I see more clearly that it is our inward anchoring in the Lord and our connection with His Body that bring true peace and guidance.

I’m reminded again that the church life is not just about meetings and messages — it’s about genuine care in the Body, expressed in such practical and timely ways. Their prayer and reaching out gave me much inward strength.

Dear brother, through justification unto eternal life we received six wonderful things – love, grace, peace, hope, life and glory – and three wonderful persons – the Holy Spirit, Christ, and God!

We were saved to have the life of God and experience His love in a realm of grace, even amidst the trials of our Christian life for our transformation. Amen!

Now we’re rejoicing standing in grace, having been brought into an organic union of life through justification!

Yes, in our faith by grace, we sinners are justified through the righteous death of Jesus Christ. His judicial redemption is the basis of Justification.

God is righteous and then He brought us to His standard of righteousness through Christ’s righteous act of dying on the cross resulting in Justification of life.

Justification, therefore, changes our outward position from:

> Satan’s dark kingdom to God’s light kingdom,

> the old husband (Adam) to the new husband (Jesus Christ) instantly.

But Justification unto life changes our inward disposition eventually or slowly through the process.

Praise the Lord for His Justification of us through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ freely by His grace. Amen

“…Justification CHANGES OUR OUTWARD POSITION; LIFE CHANGES OUR INWARD DISPOSITION.” brother Lee

“…the LOVE of God has been POURED OUT INTO OUR ❤️s through the Holy Spirit. This means that the Spirit reveals, confirms, and assures us with the love of God. The indwelling Holy Spirit seems to say, “DON’T DOUBT. GOD LOVES YOU… “Praise the Lord for the sufferings and tests that fell upon me on my journey. GOD USED THEM TO TRANSFORM ME.”” brother Lee

Thank You, Lord, for allowing me to learn from all the tests You send each day. They show me how much You love me and that, through them, You are transforming me—day by day, moment by moment. And although I don’t understand certain things, one thing I do know: YOU ORDAIN EVERYTHING FOR GOOD.

Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

Note Rom. 8:28 (4) LOVE:

Loving God CAUSES US TO CARE for His desire and to BE WILLING to coordinate with Him. God’s working needs our coordination, and our coordinating with God confirms that we are called by God ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE.

 Amen!

Hallelujah, through justification, we have come up to the standard of God’s righteousness. Now, He can impart His life into us. Hence, we have access to the full enjoyment of God in Christ as our life. Justification thus changes our outward position; life changes our inward disposition.

This brings us into 6 outstanding things: love, grace, peace, hope, life, n glory. And, we have 3 wonderful Persons – The Holy Spirit, Christ, and God as our enjoyment, Hallelujah!

Isn’t it a wonder that through the redeeming death of Christ, God has justified us sinners and has reconciled us, His enemies, to Himself. Now, we have peace towards God!

Furthermore, “the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us” (Ref: Rom. 5: 1-11; 18, 21.)

Humans as we are, we’re prone to doubts about God’s love based on our sufferings n troubles. But someday we’ll understand, someday, we’ll praise God for the journey on which He has brought us! The Spirit is there to reassure us n confirm God’s love through n through!

Lord, keep our hearts still faithful to Thee!

Keep us in Your grace!

Paul says in Romans 1, “The righteous shall have life and live by faith.” Justification is the first part — “the righteous shall have life” — and the second part is “shall live by faith.” The Christian life of righteousness — that is, a life in right relationship with God — is a life from faith to faith. This means the follower begins by believing in God (being made alive in the spirit), and continues to live by faith, until reaching the end of the journey of faith: the salvation of the soul.
